Please take the time to vote if you're interested...

A contest was held by Mothering magazine to design an international
symbol for breastfeeding (like those we see for restrooms, no smoking
signs, etc. You can see the finalists and cast your vote here for the
first int'l symbol for breastfeeding, which will be used in lounges and
other public places:

I liked #8 best. Looks like # and 8 are close! I liked the ones where you could see a little breast :)

I chose #1. I liked #1 and #6 the best, with #7 following close in third place.

I like that it is obvious what is happening--a woman breastfeeding. Some of them just look like a person holding a baby.

#9 bothers me because it looks like the baby's face is missing! :eek:

it looks like it was #8 of the original 12, and #3 of the finalists.

#9 bothers me because it looks like the baby's face is missing!
i just looked back at the one i voted for and i definitely dont think it was #9 as i said b/c when i looked at it again it definitely appears to be a headless baby, LOL! maybe i meant #8?

OMG! They changed that one! Now it's missing its head altogether! Before it was just a circle with the face missing--like a cookie with a bite out of it. Now it's just scary.
