Training

So my DH and I and our pup are starting training/obedience classes next week. It will be one on one with the trainer, so it is not a group setting.

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or things I should know when going into the training. Questions i should ask?

Or do we just go and do what the Traininer says?

Usually teh trainer will give you a list of things to do or have with you (leashes, treats, etc.) S/he may prefer to go over these in person since the meeting is one to one. They will likely give you homework to practice with your dog between sessions.

I would keep a list between each session of questions you think of - you won't remember them when the next session actually rolls around.

Also, remember, that the training is more for you than the dog. They only do what they're told.
