The "what shows did you give up on" thread got me thinking. Are there any TV series that you watched from the pilot episode until the series ended?

I have a few:

Party of Five
90210
Melrose Place

ETA: Seinfeld how could I forget about this one (thanks lawyerlee

I'm sure there are others I can't recall right now....post yours!

Are there any TV series that you watched from the pilot episode until the series ended?I think there are only two Alias and Beverly Hills 90210. I can safely say that I'm with Lost until the last episode airs.

catgirl1007 - wow!
There probably are shows way back when that I saw everyone but I can't remember.

I know i did see every episode of Little House on the Prarie, but I've forgotten them so I catch the early ones in re-runs

The Brady Bunch - obviously all in re-runs
From my younger years:
The Cosby Show
Family Ties
Growing Pains
Whos the Boss

My So Called Life
Friends
90210
Melrose Place
Dawson's Creek
Felicity
Ally McBeal
Alias

Don't know if I can count SATC - I don't have HBO but I own the whole series and have watched them all

catgirl1007 wow now that's a list!! As I read it there are a lot more that I can add to my list...I forgot about a lot of the older shows.

I think I watched Ally McBeal beginning to end....and SATC too (but I cheated b/c I didn't have HBO when it first came out, saw the first 2 seasons on DVD...)

Yeah, with as much TV as my parents let me watch, it's a wonder I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I think they did it so I'd shut up... they created a monster. :)

Oh God, I so loved that show!!!

Let's see here, I watched Dallas all the way through, Invasion (short lived, one season) Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, the aforementioned In Living Color, Tales of the Gold Monkey, West Wing, The Wonder Years, and I am hanging in there with ER.

Yeah. :(

Ugh! They would cancel it just when I finally found MY Viktor Webster onscreen in something decent again. I seriously have a thing for that man.

Well, I'm not sure if I ever saw "live" every episode of anything, start to finish. But I know I have at least gone back and seen on re-run or video every episode of:

West Wing
Friends
Gilmore Girls
The Cosby Show
ER
Grey's Anatomy (the only one I think I have a shot at watching start to finish "live"!)

Some of those old ones are hysterical -- I would never be able to even name most of those from memory!

Party of Five
West Wing
Friends (I didn't watch the first half of the first season when it started in 1994, but I've since seen them all in re-runs)
Alias
Charmed
Commander in Chief
Ally McBeal
Sisters
SATC (watched the whole thing on DVD - does that count?)
The Practice
Scarecrow & Mrs. King
Little House on the Prairie
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman

I watched lots of the other shows people have mentioned, but I can't say I necessarily saw them through from start to finish, with every episode in between.

Current shows that I've watched from the beginning & will most likely stick with:
The Apprentice (Trump & Martha Stewart editions)
Survivor
Lost
24 (watched on DVD, though)
Dancing with the Stars
Las Vegas
CSI
CSI: Miami
ER
Without a Trace
NCIS
The Bachelor/Bachelorette :o

Shows I watched all the way though:
My So Called Life
Clarissa Explains it All
Boy Meets World
In Living Color
Star Trek: Next Generation
X-Files (and I own all 9 seasons on DVD)
Xena (and all the reruns on Oxygen while in college)
Hurcules
Jack of All Trades (short lived)
Legacy (also short lived)

Shows I will likely follow to the end:
Desparate Housewives
Grey's Anatomy
Lost
Heroes
Ugly Betty (I don't know why but I like this show)

BumbleB
10-20-2006, 12:36 PM
Growing Pains
Saved by the Bell
My So Called Life
Seaquest DSV (don't laugh, I loved this one)
Friends
Freaks and Geeks (short lived - but good!)
Will and Grace

Current shows I have/will stick with to the end:
Gilmore Girls
The Amazing Race
Grey's Anatomy
Brothers and Sisters (possibly)

Tracie
10-21-2006, 01:57 PM
Friends
90210
(although both of those, I think I might have started watching at some point the first season, not from the pilot episode. I've definately caught it all in reruns though, so I think it still counts.)

I can't think of any more recently, but when I was little:

Punky Brewster
Growing Pains
The Cosby Show
