I have a 10 mt old pomeranian, ginger. my husband and i are in the middle of moving to the east coast and we need to stay with my parents until we find a place (change of job for husband) to live. We came on Wednesday. We let her run around the house and sniff everyone. she seems to be getting use to everyone now, except for my 2 year old niece who is constantly chasing after her and touching her. i have noticed yesterday and today that ginger has urinated on the carpet. i try to take Ginger out ever 4 hours...lately, she has not be going when i take her out....then i bring her back in give her more water and 30 mins later take her out again. after being outside for a long period of time, she finally decided to go. well, as i was walking around the house, i noticed that she urinated on the carpet and it was not even a half hour since she went.
my question is..what should i do? should i make her go to her crate or just clean it up...considering i did not see her do it (no other pets in the house). is she scared when my niece is running after her?
she is fine throughout the 4 hours, but why is she going after i have taken her out?
when my niece is chasing her she does not urinate anywhere...it seems to be just after i take her out.
any suggestions?
sorry if this does not make any sense.
