Any other ideas?? I tried the following recipe and it is REALLY good for a 4 point snack!!

2/3 cup of Bisquick
1 cup regular oatmeal
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp of dark brown sugar
1/2 cup of skim milk
Mix everything together.
2/3 cup blueberries mix in by hand once all above ingredients are mixed together. Drop into four equal size piles onto cookies sheet and bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes.

How did I miss this thread?

Snacks:
Klausen's dill pickles - 0 pts
Baked Ruffles - 2 pts for 1 oz.
Cinnamin and sugar pita chips - 2 pts for 1 oz.
Dark chocolate Milky Way Popables - 2 pts for 7 (I know that's not many, but they're real chocolate and sometimes I just need that)
Edy's Slow Churned Low Fat Ice Cream - 2 pts for 1/2 Cup (this stuff actually tastes like real ice cream - no joke)

Meals:
Amy's California veggie burger on low fat bun - 3 pts - I usually add one slice of American cheese to this for 2 more pts and some lettuce and red onions and tomatos. Very tasty.
Cooking Light All American Chili - 8 pts for a large service with 1 Tbsp of low fat cheese on top. Very good. Very filling. Let me know if you want the recipe.

I LOVE the Quaker lower-sugar oatmeals - you can 1.5 packets for 3 points - it really fills you up.

Other stuff:

- Starbucks Tall no-whip light Caramel Frappuccino (2.5)
- Starbucks Tall no-fat sugar-free vanilla Steamer (3)
- Laughing Cow Light Cheeses

ooooh emmjay what brand are the sugar-free ones? I usually buy the dole (1) point fruit popsicles and those are delish, but I'd feel even better if they were (0) points!!

emmjay
07-21-2005, 09:36 AM
They are the Popsicle brand in the yellow carton with cherry, orange and grape flavors. Actually the box looks almost identical to the regular Popsicles so it's easy to miss them because they are usually right next to each other. One popsicle is 15 calories.

ETA - one popsicle is 0 pts, but any more than that (up to five) works out to be 1 pt.

I have found them at Walmart in the regular cracker isle, and in my regular grocery store, Hannafords, they are in the Natural/Orgranic section. They also have Kashi honey peanut bars that are delicious and are 2 points.

I love the mini bags of 94% fat free popcorn. One whole bag is 2 points. You can't beat it. The Kettle corn ones are the best.

I also add Fiber One cereal to my yogurt, almost makes me feel like I'm having some granola in my yogurt, and it's 0 points.

Someone else already posted the 100 calorie packs (2 points), and I love those as well.

HHmmm, let's see...

I love Ryvitta crisps...especially the sesame seed ones.
With some soy mozza, and a slive of tomatoe...makes a great snack.

Also, if you take any old cake mix, and pour 1 can of diet coke/7-up into the dry ingredients and bake in muffin tins...they are only 1 pnt each. I know it sounds weird, but they taste just fine.

If you havn't tried Spudz...go out and get a bag...they are awesome. They are the only non potato chip product who's Ketchup flavour taste good! They are like 4 pnts for the entire bag!! yum!

Also DelMonte real fruit popsicles are sooooo yummy! and also only 1 pnt each.

This is a GREAT thread!

I so miss bagels and cream cheese. It's just too many points for me to indulge in. My new solution is:

Two pieces of Weight Watcher's wheat bread toasted with a triangle of laughing cow light garlic cheese spread on it.

It's SOOOOOO good and all together, it's only 2 pts!!!!!!

** I have made the muffins and they are really good. You don't taste the pumpkin and mine came out tasting like a warm fudgy brownie!!! YUM!

***I also bought the WW Take Out Tonight Cookbook I don't cook much but I do make the Hummus out of the greek section. A whole 1/2 cup or 1 cup (can't remember the serving size) is only 1 point. Put that on 2 slices of WW bread- 1 point or even some low carb pita points and you've got a low point snack/sandwich.

So you don't add anything else but the cake mix and the pumpkin? Do you bake it like it says on the box? How many muffins do you make? What is the points value each?

* Genisoy soy crisps (18=1 pt) (my favorite flavors are Creamy Ranch (tastes like Cool Ranch Doritos) and salt-n-vinegar)

* Laughing Cow light ranch flavored cheese wedges = 1 pt per wedge

* Stonyfield Farms naturally fat free yogurt = 2 pts per container

* Fiber One cereal = 0 pts per 1/2 cup (great in the yogurt!)

* Edy's light ice cream = 3 pts per 1/2 cup (some flavors are 2 pts per 1/2 cup)

* TJ's mint chip meringues = 0 pts for 1, 1 pt for 3

* Hershey's dark chocolate kisses = 1 pt for 2 (which is usually just enough for me!)

* Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches = 2 pts for 1 (most flavors); I like these better than Slim-A-Bears - I think you get more ice cream for your 2 pts!

I think that's all for now. If I think of more, I'll come back!

This really isn't a snack, but a great low-point lunch.

I toast two pieces of Weight Watchers bread (only 1pt)
Then I spread on a wedge of Laughing Cow garlic cheese (1pt)
Then to complete my sandwich, I load it with cut up cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions, which are all 0pts.

I have a healthy, very filling veggie sandwich all for only two points!

hey dd--i just buy a box of choc. cake mix and mix it together with 1 can of pumpkin and add a little water until it gets to the right consistency (maybe 1/4 C?). they come out like fudgy cupcakes, and i think they are either 2 or 3 pts per serving when you make 12 muffins. hth!

I really seem to struggle with planning out my menu for the day. My biggest challenge tends to be lunch - whether I eat out or eat in. So ladies what are some menu ideas and suggestions.

This thread can be for low point suggestions, menu planning, new products, dining out options, etc. We'll leave the WW recipe thread (http://www.constantchatter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1012) up for the recipes and the regular WW thread (http://www.constantchatter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25047) up for suppport and discussions.

I don't know that these are very creative, but they work! I bring my lunch nearly every day, and this is what I eat.

Lunch:
* Those Starkist Tuna lunch packs = 5 points for everything.
* Sandwich of 2 slices light bread + .5 oz cheese + 2 oz. lunch meat = 4 points. Add mustard for 0 points, honey mustard for .5 or light mayo for 1 point.
* Soup, soup, soup. I like Progresso's lentil soup a LOT - I think it is 5 points for the whole can? Or you can break it up. If I don't bring my lunch, Au Bon Pain is my go-to spot... some of the soups are as little as 1 point. My personal favorites include (all point values are size medium): pasta fagioli (4 points); harvest pumpkin (5 points); mediterranean pepper (1 point); curried rice and lentil (2 points).
* frozen meals, of course. My favorites are: Amy's vegetable lasagna (6 points), Amy's frozen burrito (5 points), Celentano Light Broccoli stuffed shells (5 points). Sometimes I'll eat a Lean Pocket (6 points, usually).

If I am going to eat a lean cuisine or similar, I often bring extra frozen vegetables in a sandwich bag to "beef" it up a little.
I also almost always have a serving of baby carrots with my lunch. For some reason, the act of eating multiple things makes me feel more full.

Today I had a cold chicken taco wrap. (You can heat it up if you want, but I'd already assembled it and I think warm lettuce is gross!)

1 sundried tomato wrap = 1 point
1-2 ounces of boneless skinless chicken breast = 2.5 points
Powdered Taco Mix = 0 points
misc raw veggies = 0 points

I'm really enjoying wraps for something different. I love getting a Black Bean and Salsa Wrap when we eat at the Amazon Cafe, and I see no reason I couldn't make that myself. Black beans, salsa, onion, low-fat shredded cheese, tomatoes, and any extra veggies you want.

DH makes me steamed veggies with lemon juice, Season-All, and garlic = 1 point for the seasonings. He's also made it with Chinese seasonings for a kick.

I also found this blog post from the Ca_Vol Chronicals (http://www.ca-vol.halfmysize.com/index.php?id=5#cmt) to be quite usefull!

“I’m Scared! What Should I Order?”
<snip>
I hope you enjoy these choices as they are what I think are the yummiest items!

Olive Garden:

I always order the lunch sized portion (you can order it any time, any day and you'll also save money) of the Chicken Giardino. I would get this even if I weren't on WW. That's how much I love it. It is only 8 pts.

I get the Minestrone Soup instead of the salad. It has lots of fiber and will fill you up. It is not just a cup but a big bowl. It is only 3 pts.

I skip the breadsticks. Why? If you special order them plain (without butter) they are still 3 pts. Not worth it. Go home and have some ice cream instead. They don't reveal the nutritional information for regular buttered breadsticks, but I would estimate them to be around 5 pts each. Besides, once you’ve had breadsticks from Pat & Oscar’s Restaurant in the Southwest, there’s no going back!

That makes the grand total of my huge delicious meal only 11 pts!

If you would rather have the salad than soup, ask for dressing on the side. Your family or friends can get the regular dressing and you can get the low fat dressing. If your family does not want to do that, ask your waiter to make you a salad on a plate without dressing. The ladle of LOWFAT dressing they bring is 4 points. Skip the croutons, cheese and olives. Again, I think 4 pts is a lot to "spend" on iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and dressing, but that is just me. Again, the minestrone soup is delicious and you won’t regret ordering it instead.

Chili’s:

Guiltless Grill Chicken Sandwich. This meal is absolutely delicious and very filling. The sandwich comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and fat free honey mustard dressing. I always ask for extra fat free honey mustard on the side because I need more on my sandwich. The meal also comes with a cup of black beans and a side of steamed vegetables with parmesan cheese on top. Sometimes I ask for a little salsa to dump in my beans or on my vegetables, but it is not necessary. It just depends on the mood I am in that day.

The entire plate is only 10 pts!

Red Lobster:

Their Lighthouse Menu is spectacular. They list all the nutritional information for each item separately so you can mix and match your meal. There are many other options than what I order and it is all on their website.

I order the half size portion of tilapia for 4 pts. Yes, you read that correctly. The fish is only 4 pts. For my sides, I order steamed broccoli (0 pts) and a plain baked potato (3 pts). They can give you pico de gallo on your potato (still 3 pts) but I am weird and prefer A-1 sauce on it. That comes to only 7 pts for the meal. Notice that I skipped the biscuits. I just do not like to use pts on bread at restaurants.

Applebee’s:

I have been extremely unimpressed with their WW menu. I have tried it several times and been disappointed on every occasion. The only thing I will eat there is the WW French Onion Soup for 3 pts. This is always delicious no matter which Applebee’s you visit.

Domino’s Pizza:

Folks, you can eat an entire half of a medium, 12 inch Crispy Thin Crust Pizza with mushrooms and bell peppers for only 12 pts (3 pts per slice). Eating half makes you feel like you are eating quite a bit, even though it is a super thin but very crispy crust. It is a mental trick that makes you feel like you are eating a ton of pizza, but you actually are not.

Denny’s:

I always get the side order of three pancakes without butter on top for 4 pts. I also add 1 pt for the Cary’s Sugar Free Syrup they offer. If you are looking for more food, the Slim Slam is a good choice. It comes with Egg Beaters, a slice of honey grilled ham and two pancakes for only 9 pts. Add your choice of fruit topping to your hotcakes or sugar free syrup for an 11 pt total. Not too shabby.

Ruby Tuesday’s:

I like to get the 5 pt petite sirloin. It is plenty of meat and the protein fills me up for a long time. I don’t eat the garlic bread. In fact, I ask them not to even serve it to me. I get steamed broccoli for 3 pts (it is cooked in a butter sauce) and a plain baked potato for 5 pts. The potato is high in pts because it is really big. I either add A-1 to the potato or salsa. The total for the entire meal is only 13 pts. If I do not want to eat that many pts, I ask to get raw broccoli off the salad bar for a 3 pt savings.

If a petite sirloin is not enough for you, the top sirloin is only two more pts. You can get the 7 pt top sirloin, the zero pt raw broccoli from the salad bar and the 5 pt plain baked potato for 12 total pts.

Subway:

I love their 6 inch roasted chicken breast sub on wheat with mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and banana peppers. No matter which sub I get, I always request extra, extra, extra veggies because it really helps fill me up longer. Most of the time, they can barely close the sandwich because of this.

If I do not feel like “spending” six pts on a sandwich that day, I will order the same thing as above except request it in a wrap instead. That makes the above sandwich only 4 pts instead of six. The employees have a difficult time closing my wraps because of the extra vegetables.

No matter which sandwich you order, you can “save” two pts by getting the wrap instead. Ask them to heat up the wrap and meat first because it makes it taste better.

Note: I also sometimes order the ham and turkey in a wrap for 3 pts. Again, I tell them to heat up the wrap and meat first for extra “yumminess”.

Quizno’s:

I love, love, love the small (4.5 inch) Honey Bourbon Chicken Sandwich on toasted Wheat Bread for 7 pts.

El Pollo Loco:

I’m “all about” the Pollo Bowl for 11 pts. It is not on their “healthier” menu, but 11 pts is very good for such a delicious menu item that fills me up for the rest of the day. No dinner needed. P.S. Notice I did not say the ULTIMATE Pollo Bowl. That one is a no-no.

McDonald’s:

You know, folks, if I am going to McDonald’s, I am not getting a salad. Sorry. I never go there, so when I do, I get the regular sized hamburger for 6 pts and the small French fries for 5 pts. That makes the total only 11 pts. If I feel like wasting more pts, I will get the medium fries for 8 pts.

If you think about it, the regular hamburger and small fries were all they had on their original menu. I know, they had soda and cheeseburgers, but you get the idea. The whole large fries, Big Mac, Whopper, Big Boy, etc. mentality came later, as did America’s expanding waistlines. Stick with the original menu items. They are not so bad for you if you eat them once in a blue moon, which was the original intent of fast food.

If you have kids and are thinking that you always take them to McDonald’s so you can’t get a hamburger and fries every time, there is a simple solution to that. Do not take your children to fast food restaurants very often! I was lucky growing up in the sense that my parents rarely took us to McDonald’s or other similar restaurants. When we did go, it was a true treat. Even if your children are not overweight, eating that kind of food often is not good for their overall health. Making a sandwich at home does not take long at all.

KFC:

The Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich is absolutely delicious and only 6 pts. Get a side of mashed potatoes without gravy for 2 pts or with the gravy for 3 (I personally skip the gravy). Add macaroni and cheese for 4, skip the biscuit and you have a 12 or 13 pt meal. If they have green beans (1 pt) or the 3 inch corn on the cob (also 1 pt), get one of those instead of the mac and cheese and save 3 pts (some KFC’s do not sell green beans).

Wendy’s:

Everyone knows this but I still want to put in a big “thumb’s up” for the small chili. It is only 4 pts and will fill you up for a long time. Be sure to tell them no cheese or crackers. Hey, if the crackers are not in front of you, you cannot eat them, right?

Some people also order a salad and dump the chili on top of it to make a taco salad. I personally do not do that because the chili is plenty of food and I do not want to spend more money and eat more points to make a salad out of it.

I am still trying to figure out the points (which I will post in a bit here), but I think I did well for eating out today. :) Every so often my mom will meet me for lunch on a Friday, at a deli near my office. I LOVE this place, but I never know what to order! I'm a sucker for their reubens, and I don't even want to know what the points are for those. :(

Today instead of a FATTENING reuben, I got a rye bagel with light cream cheese (on the side), 2 pieces of nova lox, lettuce, onion and tomato. I ate the whole thing and feel VERY satisfied, and this is something I could easily make at home.

ETA point values:

Bagel: 5 points
light cream cheese (1 tbsp): 1
3 oz. smoked salmon: 2.5 points
Lettuce, tomato & red onion slices: 0 points

So 8.5 points total for the whole thing. Yummy, and less points than I usually "spend" at the deli! :)

I think one of my favorite dinners (when I have some points to spare) is from Buitoni (http://www.buitoni.com) in the refrigerated pasta section...sweet sausage tortelloni with their arrabbiata sauce. You get a cup of the torelloni and 1/2 cup of the sauce for 8 points. Add a salad and you are good to go.

I do a very similar thing, except I skip the bun, and my veggie burgers are 2 pts. For dinner, I will add a serving of frozen french fries (2 pts for 15) and maybe some steamed veggies. This is my go-to dinner when DH is out of town and I don't feel like cooking. In fact, that was my dinner last night.

PeanutButter - what kind of fries do you buy?! That's a decent amount for 2 pts.

I also eat the Boca Burgers, and most of them are 1 pt. I eat it with two pieces of light bread, spicy mustard, a slice of onion, and sometimes with lettuce. Delish!

I can't believe that article is saying meals are "only" 11 or 12 points. That's more than half my daily allowance! I can't get through a day without snacking, so three meals and out isn't going to cut it for me. Eating out is going to be harder than I thought.

yes, but don't forget that you have flex points to use from time to time - not to mention activity points. So I guess the ocassional 11 points won't kill you.

Progresso French Onion Soup - 2 points for the entire can! I put a slice of low fat cheese and a Ryevita cracker on teh top and put it under the broiler for 30 sec or so for a yummy 4 point meal.

Some of the South Beach diet frozen meals are pretty good. They average around 5-7 points each.

South Beach also makes (in the deli case), these lunch 'kits'--I picked up the Southwestern chicken (or is it turkey?) wrap. I'll let you know how that is, since that's my dinner tonight. :)

I just buy the store brand (here it's Harris Teeter) crinkle-cut fries. For 15 2" fries (or 3 oz.) it's 120 calories, 2 fiber, 4 grams of fat.
The only problem is that they have 1.5 grams of trans fat, so I am looking in to switching brands when we're done with this bag.

Here are some of my faves. I tend to cook a lot and take out my WW friendly portion. My husband gladly consumes everything else that remains! We have a pretty good system going.

-1/4 cup dry oatmeal (not instant, but the kind that cooks in 1 minute) nuked 1 minute with 1/2 cup water. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and stir. 3 points.

-Boars Head turkey (1 point for 2 oz), 1 slice 2% cheese (1 point), mustard, lite bread (1 point for 2 slices) and all the dill pickle chips I can force between the bread.

-1 cup of Cous Cous (1 cup dry makes about 2 cups cooked and it is 3 points w/o oil or butter), 1/2 cup mixed veggies, baked tilapia with lemon juice, garlic salt and dill (2 points). My non-WW husband loves this meal.

-Those Campbells Soup on the Go thingies (or whatever they call them). Most are only 1 point.

-1 Boca Burger (no bread), topped with 1 slice of 2% cheese. A side of green beans. I take this for lunch a lot and it smells wonderful heating up.

-WW pizzas. Love them, especially that spinach/mushroom with the white sauce. 6 points, I believe.

-PB&J on lite bread. 4 or 5 points, depending on how crazy I get with the PB!

-That baked chicken recipe on the back of the Campbell's Cream of Mushroom is pretty good. Put the chicken breasts in a baking dish and top with the soup. I use the lite version of the soup and I estimate about 4 points for a piece of chicken and no "gravy"

-Salad with tuna, shredded 2% cheese (you can have 1/4 cup, which is a lot) and lite dressing. Other veggies can be added - I tend to add baby carrots and celery sticks. It is 2 points for one of those small bags of albacore tuna. Not a bad deal.

I am also a huge fan of the baked french fries. 15 is a lot of fries! My last bag was Ore Ida. They were very good. We also eat a lot of the Healthy Choice Fudge Bars. They are 2 points and my husband likes them better than regular ice cream.

Nestle makes a pretty decent chocolate mousse mix--if you use fat free milk, it's only 2 points for a 1/2 cup serving of mousse. I liked the dark chocolate flavor the best; the mocha and milk chocolate varieties were kind of bland.

I'm hooked on the WW Just Two Points bars--lately I've been picking up a box or two every week at my meeting (I think they're sold just at meetings, or via the website, have not seen them in stores). I like the lemon dream bar, mint chocolate cookie, and cinnamon sugar swirl. I have a bar nearly every day for my 10 a.m. break. :)

Sorrento reduced fat string cheese is 1 point each. Good for my cheese fix, I usually pack one of these with my lunch. Cabot also makes a reduced fat cheddar cheese in snack size portions, also 1 point each.

ETA: I think I posted about this in the other WW thread maybe. Anyway, I tried the Guiltless grilled salmon dinner from Chili's last week. 10 points for everything, including the sides, which are black beans and steamed veggies w/parmesan cheese. I devoured it all, and it was very tasty & satisfying.

I was just going to post that I really like the Progresso Low-Sodium soups, I guess I'm alone! I'm not surprised though, because DH and I do not use salt in cooking, at all. Everything tastes overly salty to us, even things like cottage cheese and yogurt.

Speaking of which, I've been making a meal of non-fat cottage cheese and cut fruit. I try to mix it up with things like mango, starfruit, etc. A little goes a long way, which is great since tropical fruit costs a boatload.

The local bagel place here makes mini-bagels-about half the size of a 'normal' one-one with whipped butter is 5pts. Add unsweetened hot tea for 0 points and it's a pretty decent breakfast.

Chips Ahoy regular cookies-1 pt each!! (screw buying Snackwells, etc., that cost more!)
Spinach salad(spinach, red onion, couple of cherry tomatoes) with 1 slice of chopped bacon, 1 chopped egg, fat free dressing. Total=2 pts!!!
Taco Bell crunchy tacos: Remove the cheese to subtract 1 pt. Add tomatoes and green onion. Total=2 pts.

If you find it really difficult to follow WW 24/7, specially on the weekends, try what I did-from Friday night to Sunday, all bets were off. Still lost 45 lbs in 6 months and after the first couple of weeks of that, I found I couldn't eat as much anyway, but I could still indulge a bit. Six years this past September-still at goal.

Hi gals,

I'm thinking about starting WW. Does anyone know points for fruits and veggies? Like.....

Banana
Apple
Orange
Avocado
Mango
Tomato

I absolutely suck at math, so trying to figure out how to calculate points to begin with is hard....let alone try to figure it out for items that don't have the nutrional info posted on it ;)

WW will provide you with a slide scale that you can use to calculate points for a lot of foods just by using the stats on packages. They also have a pretty good book or two on everything from apples to Whoppers with cheese.;)

I'm thinking about starting WW. Does anyone know points for fruits and veggies? Like.....

Banana = 1.5
Apple = 1 (for small or medium)
Orange = 1
Avocado = 9.5 (medium)
Mango = 2 (small or medium)
Tomato = 0 (.5 for a whole large tomato)

Some of these depend on the size of the item. A small banana is 1.5 points, but a large one is 2.

I just bought those Hostess 100 calorie cakes. They are delish, but tiny. Literally - the diameter of a quarter. 2 points and a good addition to daily lunch.

I just read through this whole thread and have some yummy ideas for my next visit to the grocery store. I will try the cake/pumpkin, is it better with brownie mix or chocolate cake? Does it need to be lowfat/ no sugar added mix?

I have searched for the WW recipe thread but have not found it, does it exist? Also I would LOVE the Taco Soup recipe could someone please post it.

Thanks so much!

By the way I cater special events - weddings, bar mitzvahs, political fundraising and I eat a bag of popcorn on my way to each event to fill myself up and to lower my food cravings for the fattening hors d'oeuvres. Also to make myself more accountable I tell everyone I work with that I am on WW so that it creates another barrier for me to not be able to snack.

Bastille, all the WW threads are linked in the main WW Basics thread (http://www.constantchatter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29444) (and the recipe thread is in the Cooking forum - which is why we link to it in both the basics thread and in the first post of the main WW thread).

I've not done the pumpkin and chocolate cake mix, but I have done the pumpkin and spice/carrot cake mix. Either way, I love it! I freeze the entire batch and nuke one up for breakfast.

The taco soup recipe is probably in the recipe thread along with a bunch of zero point soups (and some links to outside sources for even more zero point soups).

Katy -

Thank you so much for posting the link to the WW recipe thread, I would not have found it otherwise. Is there a reason that WW recipes is not it's own separate thread?

I found the Taco soup recipe but haven't made it yet. I made the Chicken/Ketchup/Diet Coke which was surprisingly OK - tasted like Chicken with BBQ . I have also made the Chocolate cake/pumpkin muffins and liked them, 3 pts for a warm chocolate muffin with lite Cool Whip is yummy and filling.

Is there a reason that WW recipes is not it's own separate thread? But they are in their own thread - I think all the recipes listed there (even the Cooking Light ones) have point values. Since they're recipes, they're mixed in with the other recipes, whereas the WW discussions take place over in this forum. We made sure to make the links available for those that don't think to look there. Plus it shows up in searches as well (too bad search doesn't always work)

My new favorite low-point food is Flat Out Bread (http://www.flatoutbread.com/). They are good sized wraps and come in a variety of flavors. They're only 1 point! I make all of my sandwiches with these now, and we sometimes make the pizza recipes on the website.

I can point our that label from anywhere!

Becki - They're Mrs. Freshley's. You can get Mrs. Freshley's from Wal-Mart, but I'm not sure if I've ever seen those there! I'm going to have to search though. They look good!!!!!

Those oatmeal cremes sound yummy. Should we look in the "health food" section of our stores or the cookie aisle?

The oatmeal cremes are SO yummy! They're in the "Little Debbie" section of my Wal-Mart, in the bread aisle. I stumbled across them when I was looking for the hostess cupcakes. They aren't very big by any means, but I like to pack them with my sandwich or salad for lunch.

I've also found these little guys to be pretty tasty. I'm not sure if they've been brought up in this thread before.

Thanks so much - I guess I was a bit "slow" in understanding that the WW Recipes is in the recipes section and not the WW forum. Got it now :)

Wanted to mention that I made NO Pudge Fudge Brownie Mix which is mixed with non fat vanilla yogurt and nothing else - yummy 2 points muffins, DH, who is not on WW, even likes it. Fun to bake something, have the house smell like brownies and then get to eat the warm fudgy brownie and only get set back 2 points.

Andrea-where do you get that flatout bread?>

Standrea, I'm not Andrea, but I've seen those wraps on the corner of our deli counter next to the prepared meats and dips on their own stand.

Its been a long while since this thread was active and wanted to bump it up to see if anyone has anything else to add.

I just joined WW last night and I am trying to get lots of ideas.

Does anyone know how many point a piece of grilled chicken breast is?

Ferris
06-24-2008, 10:24 PM
Disneygirl It depends on the size of breast, but a 4oz piece or 1/2 breast for 3 points.

Had this the other day in chocolate and it was actually not that bad! I added frozen strawberries to it though.
