I'm looking for an antique band and was hoping to get some ideas as well as just see some pretties!! If you don't mind sharing what era they are from please post that as well.
My engagement ring:
made in 1940-1950 is what my jeweler thinks because of the style of the ring and cut of the center stone

Hi Larissa. Beautiful ring!
Here is my antique engagement ring. It belonged to my DH's paternal grandmother and was made in the mid-1920s. (Please excuse the extreme close-up.)

I found it difficult to decide on a wedding band to match my ring because of its unusual shape (I believe it is called a basket setting). Placing it next to another ring caused a big gap, and I'm not really the type to get a third ring to fill the space. Finally, I decided just to wear my e-ring on my right hand, and I chose this as my wedding band:

I wanted something simple and old-fashioned looking for those rare occasions when I want to wear both rings together on my left hand.
I hope more people post--I love looking at vintage rings!
