Did a search and didn't find anything but I am wondering if you have done a cleanse before... I am thinking of doing one... I used to do them in college and felt soooo much better arfterwards

No specific kind of cleanse... my aunt does colon cleanses regularly and she raves about them however I know that some people make their own and just want to hear about your cleanse like what brand or ingredients if you mae your own...

Thanks

I've used Cleanse Smart by Renew Life. I have done it about 6 times over the past few years and I have been pleased with the results. I took it along with fiber and fish oil. If you want to further discuss it, PM me since cleanse discussions can get a little graphic.

Here's a link I found about the product. This site gives you the lowdown on Cleanse Smart. For a good price, you can go to Amazon.

Since it seems that we are the only 2 checking out this thread...

When I first started doing this cleanse, the man who turned me on to it, recommened the fiber to "get more out." Then he said to take the fish oil to make everything smoother. He was right. Of course there are other benefits to takng fiber and fish oil, but while on the cleanse, you want to get the maximum benefits and you certainly want it to be an easy process. :)

I am currently doing the Dr. Natura cleanse. It is pretty good....although my DH is getting better results than I am. But I like the regularity.

Master Cleanse is good and CHEAP and works wonders but I really liked Dr. Natura. You can also do make your own with juices and laxitive teas!

Does anyone have any recipes for a natural one?

My husband's aunt has one. I will see if I can get it, but I think it is a glass of warm water with paprika and lemon mixed together in it. That is all you can have all day. She does it all the time and says it cleans her right out. I don't know!

bumping. I"m thinking of starting a cleanse. I have a few questions. What exactly is it supposed to accomplish? I have read that it does everthing from immediate dramatic weight loss to freshen your breath.

what is a realistic expectation? and will I need to be *home* for the process (or very close to the bathroom)

I didn't know anyone actually did this! Is it healthy? Are there dangerous side effects?

I did a cleanse last year, lost a few pounds and felt great.

I do believe everyone should do this at one point or another - think of all the toxins your body takes in!!!!

I need to try again, but I'm thinking this time doing natural (water, cheyanne, lemon, syrup)

I had done a few different cleanses until I found Dr. Natura/Colonix. After a TON of research and reading up on different cleansing options, and after doing two Dr. Natura cleanses myself (the initial cleanse was 3 months and I now do a maintenance cleanse of 1 month every 6 six months), there is no question in my mind that Dr. Natura is the absolute best there is. I will be a customer for life. Not only have I used Dr. Natura and had amazing results, but so have five of my family members, including my husband, three co-workers, three friends, and the gals from my dentist's office! Dr. Natura is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The program initially takes 3 months to complete...but you have to remember, if it has taken you years to build stuff up in your system, you can't flush it out in a matter of days. If you have ANY questions what so ever, regardless of how graphic, please feel free to ask me.

Can anyone answer these questions, please? Also, the question below re: safety and side effects?

I ended up doing a series of two colonics and I felt soo clean afterwards if that makes sense... I mean it seemed life my food tasted different afterwards. I didn't do any other type of cleansing except I ate only fruits and veggies in the days before and after the clense.

I am going to try an Enzymatic Whole Body Cleanse here. (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00136YK2E?smid=A279C90IY94P1S&tag=dealtime-hpc-20&linkCode=asn) I bought it at a local health foods store and dont know much about it...its only a 2 week one, which I thought I could handle before I take on something several months worth! I dont know what to expect but will come back once I start it!

Any update on the Enzymatic Cleanse went? I am looking for a shorter term cleanse than 1-2 months. (We have a busy social calendar this month and the typical cleanse dietary restrictions don't fit in well). I have done the 1-3 month cleanses before, but I was hoping this one might be an effective faster option??????
