Hoping I am posting this in the right thread, wasn't sure if I should put it over in PG or not. I am trying to figure out which basal body thermometer to purchase. These are the ones that I have found so far; all are digital:
The Healthy Living BBT by Samsung
The Mabis Basal Digital Thermometer
The BD Electronic Basal Thermometer
The BestMed Basal Digital Thermometer
professional digital basal thermometer by Clark Medical Company
I really don't have a clue which would be considered the best. They are all in the $10 price range, all found on Ebay. Is there one listed here that anyone has used or would say is more accurate than the rest? Anyone used one not listed here that you love? Let me know!

I got the BD Basal - it was easy to find at a local pharmacy, ~$12.
It saves the last temp so you can read it later, but I think most do that.

I used the BD. I took a break and misplaced my BD so I bought another when I started temping again. I hated the new one, so I ordered another BD one. I now have two BD ones.

Look for one with a light! Mine doesn't have one, and I like to look at the temp after I take it (at 6am) because I find accessing the memory on mine finicky and have 'lost' temps by holding the button too long!

I used the BD Basal as well. I liked the light and the beeps so you knew it was taking the temp.
*BUMP*
I want to start charting again as I just resumed my cycles, and am looking for a basal thermometer which does not beep and that has a light. Does such a thermometer exist?

I always covered the BD basal with my hand so the beeps wouldn't be as loud.
My crappy one didn't beep, but it didn't have a light, either. I think it was a Walgreens brand.

I did the same thing - cover the thermometer with my hand so it would not beep. There is a certain place on the thermometer that if you cover that spot, you can barely hear it beep. That way I wouldn't wake DH early every morning. I used the BD thermometer.

I don't think there is a thermometer with a light that doesn't beep. I have the BD therm and the beeping doesn't bother me, but I temp vaginally so I can hardly hear the beeps.
I had the Walgreen's brand before the BD one and hated it. It didn't last very long at all.
