Backstreet's Back...who are fans??

I know I'm not the only one on here. Anyone else like The Backstreet Boys? Thought I might find some new friends :p

Ooh, ooh!!! ME ME!!! I LOVE BSB! I have all of their cd's (although I haven't gotten the new one yet). THey come to Vancouver Sept 3 or 4 th. I want to buy tickets, but have no one who would pay to go with me-so my goal is to win tickets.
My fave member was always Nick, but now I feel differently. I like Brian-he's so cute, and seems so sweet.

oh, heck yeah! i'm the most over-the-hill teenybopper you'll meet. i actually love ALL the boy bands and pop princesses. i dragged my dh to 'n sync and christina aguilera concerts.

i have ZERO shame. i blast BSB in my car. i downloaded most of their new album. i like the ballads. my favorite is 'i'll never break your heart.' classic BSB. i always correct people when they mix up the boy bands! i'll say, "ummmm, actually... joey is in 'n sync. howie is in backstreet boys. nick lachey is in 98 degrees." :p

oh, if we say "BSB" instead of "backstreet boys" does that up our dork quotient?

I'm going to their concert August 2nd. I'm also trying to win tickets for their concerts in London and Kitchener. I've already won tickets to see them once. Well dh won a trip to see the BSB in Las Vegas. They gave our seats to someone else, so we upgraded and got awesome seats. Dh fell asleep at the concert! He actually had the nerve to ask me if he could sell the tickets and buy Toronto Maple Leaf tickets! :mad: :mad:

I went to one in Hamilton and I had one of the BSB dangling on a rope in front of me. It was awesome!

(I am a hardcore boy band fan, although Nsync is not as good as the BSB and 98' wasn't that great either)

I was so into them back in the day, then when they went away for awhile my tastes changed a bit, and I figured I probably wouldn't like this new cd...but... of course, I love it. I would LOVE to go see them but I am pretty sure no one I know will want to go with me.

I'm a BSB's fan, I have their first couple cd's and still deciding on whether I'll get this new one. I'll have to see if I can find a picture but when my brother is clean shaven (he's "trying" to grow a beard right now) he looks just like Kevin!!! He's had people stop him on the street asking him if he was Kevin.
I think its pretty funny.

I'm a huge BSB fan :D They came into town a couple weeks ago but I didn't go because my only friend who would pay to go with me is 9 months pregnant, if my daughter was older(she's almost 2) I would have brought her! However we did see them in Pittsburg about 4 years ago. They had concerts 2 nights in a row so we got tickets to both shows. The afternoon before the concert we went over to the arena where they were playing at and hung out where they would be getting off the bus and walking in. We waited for probably an hour or so and one by one they started showing up. They would get off the bus and walk down a ramp and wave at us then go inside. We were on the side of the ramp looking down on them but we were so close. It was so much fun and I got some great pictures. Then at the concert we had floor seats but we were towards the back. Well if any of you went to a concert during the black and blue tour you know that they had a seperate stage that came out of the ground towards the back of the area. Well it comes up and it's right in front of us :eek: I thought I was going to have a heart attack, we were acting like silly little school girls but we had a BLAST and I was able to get some more really great pictures. I'll try and find the pictures and post them tonight.

This concert is the best one I've seen yet. No dancers and they do it all themselves. Very cool. Almost positive this is the last CD, hence the name "Never Gone" so I'm sad, but still loved this last concert!!!

I just saw the new BSB video for I Just Want You to Know-that's some funny s#!t.
I happened to just put the tv a music channel and there was this guy who looked all 80's rock and I thought to myself-that guy looks like Nick Carter-and then a car pulled up with all the guys looking like that! It didn't go with the song at all, but it was a funny video.

I watched VH1:Behind the Music about BSB the other day. It was quite a moment for me. They are famous enough/been around long enough to have a Behind the Music about them.
I remember the first time I heard them. It was October 1996 and I was at grade 7 camp (yes, I'm very young) and one of the groups of guys did "Get Down" as their lip sync. And I've been a loyal BSB fan ever since!
