spotting while on progesterone

I am currently on 200mg of progesterone supposities after having IUI done this month with meds. Last month I didn't get AF until after I quit taking the suppositories. However, this morning I had a little bit of spotting of red blood and then nothing since. I still have sore BB's and am crampy. Anyone else have spotting on them? Did it then turn into AF before stopping them? Thanks for any insight you can give.

I am on 100mg and still have spotting. A couple times it turned into AF (while still taking them), but usually AF doesn't come till after I stop them. I stop after 14dpo and AF comes 0-1 days later.

I took them for 7 cycles and spotted during 5 of those. My doctor says it's not uncommon. One nurse said it's because the progesterone helps keep your lining super thick - that sometimes the extra thickness comes out as spotting. I hope it's not AF for you!
