WHO ARE WE ???
A group of CC ladies who are Trying To Concieve (TTC) We would love to hear about what you are going through. We understand the trials, tribulations and many doctor appointments that you are facing on this journey into parenthood. No question is too "stupid", asked too often, nor is any "vent" that you may have unnecessary.
This thread may move quickly at times, but don't be afraid to jump in on the last page. You don't have to read through the entire thread before you join us. The first few posts on page one are some introductory info to help everyone out as well as provide many useful links to other sites with in depth information on certain topics. A link to the new thread is always posted at the end of the current thread to help everyone find their way over to the most recent "Seeing What happens" thread. Just wanted to wish everyone luck and let you all know that if you have any updates that need to be done it may take a couple days (unless SmittenK is around). I mentioned a few weeks ago that my grandpa was diagnosed with leukemia and he passed away tonight so I will probably be away from the boards for a couple days trying to deal. :(
I hope I come back to a lot of good news though.

I hope everyone has a great long weekend and good luck to all the testers. I'm on CD4, temp way down today so FF has removed my O but I know I did. The cramps from yesterday are almost gone so who knows. I am not as hopeful as I was a couple days ago.

Looty: Prayers!
Question: Has anyone experienced, or heard of someone experiencing heartburn as a first sign of pregnancy? Since this is my first month charting, I'm not exactly sure if I have had an o or not, my body has been feeling strange lately and I'm wondering if I will have a BFP soon? My stomache just has been a little off and the heartburn thing (which I've NEVER had!)
Baby dust to all.........let's hope it's a BFP month for all!!!!!

Monty - I have heard that that can be an early sign! especially if you've never had it before.
is it wrong that I'm jealous of your heartburn? :D
Me - I think I'm out. Of course, like last month it will probably be a long drawn out process.... I got some light cramps and the smallest amount of pink when wiping this morning. This is how it usually starts. Last month though I got spotting and brown gook for a week before several hours of red, followed by yet another week of gook. I'll be calling dr. again next week if that's the case and hopefully then she'd start tests....
I'm going to buy TCOYF this weekend then!:(

Mel - I think we are going through the same thing! Do we have the same body? this is my week of brown gook - ugh!
and I totally understand the heartburn jealousy, *lol* - what I wouldn't do for some morning sickness, right? (I hope one day I live to regret those words!)

Well, I tested this morning and got a BFN, I don't really know what I was expecting, but it is 11 DPO, I know that is still a little early but I figured that if I was in fact pg I would have at least a faint line, so I am really bummed. At least I hadn't gotten myself to worked up in FPS, my stomic is a little uneasy but other than that, nothing at all. I just hope AF shows quick and its not dragged out like last month, I hope I did infact all ready O, I think I did but without charting who really knows. Sorry, no S/Os, just in a bad mood. If AF still hasn't shown I will still probably test on Sunday.
RobynScott
09-01-2006, 08:31 AM
Chelsea - I totally understand how you feel - bad mood and all. I was the same way yesterday (nothing on $ store test at end of day, 11 DPO) - it's understandable!
Right after that - test, I was holding a friend's baby and someone said, "careful, you could be next!" - I reminded her it could take a while to get PG (it took her and her hubby 5 mos) - she asked if we were trying and then she's like "YOU COULD BE PG NOW" - I was like, no, really, I'm not, trust me. ugh!
Hope you feel better soon- have a good day!
BTW - what happened to all of us that were waiting until this weekend to test, *lol*
ceaserbride
09-01-2006, 08:31 AM
Looty- So sorry for your loss, please take care. You and your family are in my prayers.
All Testers: Good Luck testing! Hoping for BFP for all of you:D
Monty: Hopfully that's a FPS for you! When are you testing??
Melg: It's hard to stay positive isn't it? But hey it's not over till it's over and I'm hoping AF stays away! If we dont concieve in Sept. I'm going to buy TCOYF too.
Chelsea: Sorry about the BFN but your right it's probably too early anyway! Good luck testing Sunday.
Me:CD4 and just waiting for AF to leave.
Question for all: I've read many different opinions on BD'ing everyday vs. everyother day. Seems like everyones saying something different. What does TCOYF say and what do you believe/follow??
FSUSammy
09-01-2006, 08:32 AM
Johnna - Yes heartburn can be a sign of PG. Only reason why I know this is because last month I got some BAD heartburn (never had it before) and when I went to the doc about it they asked me if I was PG. Hopefully you'll get your BFP!
Chelsea - No giving up until the old hag shows! You hear me??? LOL

All right ladies - I think I'm out for the month. Brown spotting is starting to turn red - I expect Af to be here tonight/tomorrow night.
Help me out here - I'm already getting upset about it and I know I shouldn't. This is only Cycle #2 for us (and really, cycle #1 was just barely trying) - so I shouldn't be upset yet.
Of course, my Type A personality already has me fearing that we are still going to be at this a year (or more) from now and that there could be something wrong with us. Intellectually, I know that there's no reason to be thinking that at this point - but I still can't help wondering.
Seems like all (most) of our friends got PG very quickly - and now everyone is telling us we'll be next - and I just don't think it's going to be that easy.
It's cycle #2 - I know I should not be complaining (or stressing!) yet - there are people that try for a lot longer. If anyone can talk a little sense into me, I'd appreciate it - b/c right now I am really p'oed at myself for getting so far ahead of myself!
Hope the other testers have better luck this weekend - AF stay away!

Awww, sorry Robyn, I know how it feels to get such a let down. I thought it would be so easy, got pg with ds#1 without even trying, got pg with ds#2 on my first cycle off BCP, now its been since may that we've been trying and I feel like I am just broken, we had a friend start ttc the same time as us and she got pg her first try, and is now moving into her 2nd trimester, but then again we have two sets of friends that took over a year to get pg so it is so different for everyone, I hope next cycle is it for you!!!

Robyn-I wouldnt worry yet, Im on my third cycle so far and I have been charting the whole time, I have found that my O date first came on CD 20, then on CD 16, so I would figure out when you O first, have good BD timing and then evaluate the situation...It could be that you are BD on non-fertile days...who knows!

Thanks Katie! We used OPK's this month so I think our timing was right. Just have to buck up and move on to next month.

Hi everyone. Hope things are going good. Anyhow, its a 3 day weekend, so lets all get really excited about that.
Anyhow I am on CD12. I think I will be O'ing pretty soon. I can really tell a difference in CM. I mean like a huge difference. So, I am goin to go home on my lunch hour and make my DH do some b'ding with me. I am not goin to worry, I am just going with gut instinct with this. I mean it doesn' t seem right becuase my cycle is usually like 31 days, but hey whatever, I am totally following what the book says about CM. And lets just say its the day!!!!!

Robyn~I totally know what you mean. I felt the same way last month. We did everything possible to make ti happen, and I thought for sure thsi was the month. I really thought it was going to happen, then AF comes on the exact same date she always does Go figure. I mean its so annyoing, like you said, because my sister isn't even married and has 2 goin on three kids. So its quite frustrating. I don't understand it and the more i htink about how hard it is for us to get this done, the more mad I get!!! So I totally feel your pain. Your definatly NOT ALONE!!!

looty So sorry about your grandfather!! You and family are in my thoughts!
Monty I think heartburn can be early sign of pg!! Crossing my fingers for you!!
melg, RobynScott, and Chelsea524 You all can't think you are out for this month!! Because I think I out this month and we need atleast one of us to get a BFP!!
Chelsea524 Sorry about the BFN, I hope it is just too early! Are you testing again on Sunday? Thanks for taking over the thread!
docoNY Welcome!! I hope your stay here is short! How did you wean your DD off of the paci? I have to do that with my DS and I'm not looking forward to it!!
dancn226 I hope you lunch date pays off!!
Well I have a feeling I'm out this month too. No FPS for several days. I was going to test this morning, but decided not to. My gut is just telling me I'm out this month. AF should be here either Sunday or Monday, and I hope she holds off until at least after the weekend! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

OK, I'm in a bit better mood, just hoping today was to early.
Tenny, Yes I still plan on testing sunday, I used my last dollar store test today, saving my good test for sunday. Isn't it funny how we always think we are out when it actually comes time for testing, I think its just us trying convince ourselves that it can't be true so we don't get such a let down if we don't get a BFP, I hope you get yours though!!
Monty I've heard of heartburn as a pg symptom, hope it is for you!
dancn have fun at lunch today, I hope you catch the egg
Good luck to all of those testing this weekend (including myself:p )!!!

thanks for the welcome - quick reply - DD is going to wake up any second from her nap
Tenny
we went cold turkey - she only used for bedtime/naps and just put her down without it
we had tried one Sunday before and she didn't settle down after a 1/2 hr and DH caved and gave it to her
this time we started on a Friday so if we were sleep deprived it would be the weekend.. she kind of cried/yelled and I was going to go in after 10min but she kind of gave up and got quiet and would yell, go quiet and then silence.. took about 12min
she was waking up looking for it for probably the first 4/5 nights around 4/5am which was a drag but she doesn't cry for it now when we put her down or during the night (or at least not the last 2 nights)
I was petrified to do it but went ok! (knock on wood stays that way). If you aren't up for some crying I am not sure what you would do.. her ped say go cold turkey
good luck

Chelsa~Thanks for the lucks. I wish you luck this Sunday with you testing. Hopeufally your body is faking you out and really wants to suprise you thsi weekend with a BFP. You know a little hoiday weekend surpise.
Tenny~ The lunch date was good. Lets just hope things work out.
They say wet and slipery for CM correct. I really hope it works out. I want this so bad right now. June would be pefect with my dance schedule. My grandparent have a buliding that I would get and it would be after that I could start working on it. So I am going to try and do both a the same time. I am startin to think if this gettign a BFP doesn't work out soon, I am going to put it on the back burner until I get my dance studio up and running. So if its not within these next two months, I will be otu of the running for a while!!!

melg, pink does not have to mean anything, so I´m crossing my fingers that you are not out! :)
Chelsea, what a bummer! But 11DPO is still early, although it´s too bad that you are already again at CD 43. Has your obgyn done a hormone check to determine why you have these long cycles? Anyway, I hope it was just too early and wish you lots of luck for your next test! :)
ceaserbride, I have read different versions about the best frequency of BD. Some say every other day so that the sperm count can recover, others say every day because the sperms would be more mobile. However, when I first got pg we DTD only once in the entire month and when I got pg the second time we BD every other day. But one of the July graduates BD every day and was successful too. So I guess just BD whenever you like.
docoNY, welcome! :)
Robyn, I´m sorry that it seems AF is about to arrive. But see it this way - at least as it´s so early you will still be able to get a BFP in September this way. ;) Try not to stress too much about it, although I know it is easier said than done. I´m really getting impatient now too. We practised purely SWH since August 2004 and now after the m/c I´m only in the third cycle of TTC but it´s so hard to see the graduates go and not belong to them. But our time will come, I´m sure! :)
Tenny, I started weaning the paci by limiting it to the bed. In the first few days I took it away in the daytime and stored it so that DD couldn´t reach it. After that, I placed the paci in her bed and told her she could use it in bed only. So if she wanted to use it, she had to sit in bed. This got old very quickly and she was okay with only using it at nighttime. This went on for many months and when I decided it was time to get rid of it entirely, I just waited until her last one was falling apart. I then told her that she could not use it anymore since it was broken and we did not have a substitute. The first evening she demanded it for maybe an hour, the second one for maybe ten minutes and the third evening she had already forgotten about it entirely. :p
Me: I´m on CD 17 today. Still I´m not sure if I O´d or not but if I did it must have been on CD 15. Yesterday and today I noticed that I´m quite watery down there. I remember that some of you talked about that but I don´t remember what that means. Can that be a sign that I O´d?
Today I also talked to a friend about my fear of having a clotted fallopian tube. She said that you usually still O with a clotted fallopian tube and that it´s probably just a matter of hormones or maybe I have both troubled hormones and a clotted fallopian tube. So I guess I´ll try Clomid in October and see if it works. She also told me that she had her tubes checked without anaesthesia in only 15 minutes in our regular obgyn practice. They inserted a catheter vaginally up into the uterus and injected a contrast medium which went up one tube and did not in the other tube. This was checked by ultrasound. So although nothing can be corrected during this procedure, it is something that I definitely consider.

Question for all: I've read many different opinions on BD'ing everyday vs. everyother day. Seems like everyones saying something different. What does TCOYF say and what do you believe/follow??
When we got pregnant this cycle, we DTD for 3 days, than took a day off, than again DTD for 2 days and than took the day off and than DTD 3 days (2 days before Oing and on O day) and 1 day off and than DTD for 2 days just in case.

Looty - I'm so sorry about your grandpa :( It's a real shocker when something like this happens, I remember having a really hard time believing it when my grandpa died suddenly.
Melg - I'm sorry AF showed up.
Chelsea - Sorry about the BFN, but I still think 11DPO is a little early and you still have a chance.
Ceaserbride - It varies for us, sometimes we BD every day around O and sometimes it ends up being every other day. I don't really stress about it.
Welcome docoNY!!!
Robyn - Sorry to hear that AF is coming.
Tenny - I hope AF stays away. It ain't over til AF shows up as far as I'm concerned.
Dancn - I hope it works out for you so you don't have to stop TTC.
Myself - Well, AF is due next Thursday and I'm hoping I don't see her. I had wierd, wierd dreams last night all night long. I kept tossing and turning and when I went back to sleep I kept dreaming that I was breastfeeding this baby girl. Weird !! ;) Maybe it's a sign, the four cycles before this one I was dreaming about stupid HPT's and pink lines, at least I'm dreaming about an actual baby now :p

Pacific Thanks for the baby dust, always needed!!
Lana I hope the dream was a sign, good luck, I hope AF stays away
Bella watery CM could be a sign that you are getting ready to O, usually you go dry after O, but it could also just be some left over from BDing, I stay kind of wet from that for about a full 24 hrs
Dancn I hope you catch the egg and don't have to worry about pushing back ttc
Nothing new with me, feeling a little crampy so AF could be coming, who knows, I forgot to bring a tampon today so I really hope she doesn't show, I'm here for another 11 hrs, that would be a long time with AF and no protection. I still plan on testing tomorrow, anyone else???

Chelsea,
I'm here. I'm home but supposed to be working. What do you do that you are working on Saturday?
I was opening this post hoping to see a BFP from you :) So, you're waiting till tomorrow to test? I am STILL spotting - this is DAY 5!! I expect AF to show tomorrow - so I didn't even bother with the test I was hoping to use this morning. Oh well. Hope AF doesn't catch you unprepared - and maybe tomorrow will bring you a nice surprise!

Robyn, sorry spot is still there, maybe you are just one of those women that spot for the first few weeks of pregnancy, if it continues I would test. I work at Comcast (cable company), I work every other Saturday but starting in 4 weeks no more Saturdays for me!!! I forgot to mention (don't know how) that I checked my test from yesterday about an hour later and there was a faint pink line, if you look in the charting thread at I think it was steves sweety, she posted her bfps and the first and second pic of hers is what it looked like, could be an evap line but there was color to it so not sure, hopeful for tomorrow
Tenny Oh, I hope AF stays away!!! Good luck testing on monday!!

09-02-2006, 11:02 AM
Chelsea - I have never seen that kind of line (no matter how much later I checked) - good luck! I'll refrain from saying anything about the evils of Comcast ;)
As far as being PG and spotting - sure, I could be one of those women, but I really think that is just wishful thinking on my part. Just like last month, AF will arrive tomorrow morning I am sure.
I am getting concerned about the spotting as a luteal phase defect / sign of low progesterone I know it's probably too soon to think this, but 5 days of spotting before AF is abnormal.
Anybody take anything to help with low prog.? Vitex, B6, Prolief?
(Sadie, I know you took Prolief - can you tell me about your experiences? Did you consult your dr first? did you have confirmed low prog?
This is just strange b/c I have never had spotting like this before (or for this long!) and I know it's not normal. Ok, sorry for going on and on - I guess this is just letting me avoid the things I am supposed to be doing - like work and cleaning the garage out :)
Chelsea - hope you get out of there soon.
Melg and Tenny - Good luck with testing this weekend.
Chelsea - Good luck tomorrow!

I'll refrain from saying anything about the evils of Comcast ;)
This made me LOL, I get that a lot, but I can't complain, its money and I get everything free, I LOVE Comcast:p The cheap dollar store tests are the only ones I have ever gotten evap lines on, and only a few times, this one was a $ test, the same one as steves sweety used, I'm not holding my breath because it really could be an evap line, since I didn't notice it at first, I saw hers and decided to take a second look at mine and it looked pretty close. If it was anything then I should have a much darker line tomorrow, hoping!!!
Hi - no time to do full shout outs.
Me - just a light brown stain this morning when I wiped, and had to run back 2 times "D" so I don't know. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Not sure yet if I will test or just wait until AF comes for 5 or so more days.
Last time I did have spotting for about a week before red
Robyn - your post about us having the same bodies did crack me up! I know that spotting before AF is not necessarily normal, but doesn't necessarily mean abnormal. see what happens with charting, that should help. Also wouldn't hurt to call your doc. and get it documented, get the dr. started thinking about it. That's what I did last month. If it is strange again this month and no bfp I will call her again.
That's all here - just enjoying this long weekend. I'll keep you guys posted if I do indeed test, or if something changes.
Let's hope nothing changes so I have to test in a week ;)
Good luck to whoever is testing!!!

I just wanted to comment on this. I just had a laparoscopy Thurs. to see if I had endo and/or blocked tubes. No endo and my anatomy looked normal, but it looks like one of my tubes is blocked because the dye wouldn't go through. Bella, the procedure you are talking about is called an HSG (histerosalpingogram). If it is just a little "gunk" in your tube, the dye being forced through there can clean it out and "fix" it. There are reports that fertility increases for the months following an HSG, whether a blockage was found or not. I had the option of doing this instead of the lap, but I wanted to get it all done at once. I have an appt. in 2 weeks to discuss my results and decide what, if anything, to do next.
Also, Good luck, Chelsea! I hope the line was really a line!

Hi Ladies!
I've been trying to get on for an hour or so. Whenever we get rain our connection gets funky. Chelsea~ we use Comcast, have you heard anything about rain and the Internet connection?
Good Luck to everyone testing this weekend. I hope we get some more BFPs.
Sorry to those who have AF showing.
Me ~ CD 10, couple more days and we can start BDing. I told DH we have 4 days of BDing ahead of us. I plan on BDing from CD14 - CD17, which should cover me for my O day, the day before and the day after. Of course this is if I O on either CD 15 or CD 16, I think I have my bases covered. I went to Happy Hour on Thursday night and one of the ladies heard we are TTCing and said oh my DH just has to look at me and I got PG. So she's like you'll get PG when you are least expecting it. I had laugh and say that might be true but I'm still gonna plan it out and hope we are successful this upcoming month.

Lana, I hope your dream is a sign and not only wishful dreaming! ;)
Chelsea, the watery thing can´t be leftovers from BD because we did not BD for three days and it is still there. And I can´t O because my ovaries haven´t shown any noticably activity since CD 15. Weird. I´m crossing my fingers for you that the faint line will be a real BFP soon! :)
Robyn, spotting for this long sounds suspicious. I am one of those who had AF while pregnant, just not as heavy as usual and mostly spotting, so I hope this is it for you! :)
I have been low on progesterone in October 2005 and since then I have taken Vitex to get that under control. My cycles were too long when I was low on progesterone but I never had spotting. Vitex obviously helped because my cycles got 28-30 days and I got pregnant in March. Now after the m/c I´m again low on progesterone but this time I´m low despite the fact that I´ve started Vitex again. So I guess I´m even lower than before. You can check your progesterone level if they draw blood on CD 21.
Tenny, hopefully you´re wrong and AF stays away.
melg, good luck!
Sammy, why do you think it was anovulatory? I thought you noticed it when you O´d? Last cycle when I was anovulatory, AF showed up right on time on CD 28.
Jess, thank you for clearing that up! I already have a hard time to remember the terms in German but for the life of me I can´t seem to remember them in English. So it´s called HSG. I am scared of a laparoscopy, so I would prefer a HSG to see if there is need for a laparoscopy at all. Didn´t they open your blocked tube during the laparoscopy or why do you have to discuss the results?
Delsol, have fun with the BD, in case you decide to start early! ;)
Me: Nothing new. We didn´t BD since CD 15, so I hope I won´t O later on. Basically I´m just waiting for my blood draw on Tuesday and for the results one week after that. AF is due on the 12th and we go on vacation on the 26th. So I think I won´t do the HSG so shortly before our vacation, just in case something might go wrong. I also don´t think that I can start with Clomid in September because of the vacation. Except if I could go in for an ultrasound on the 25th which would be CD 13 if AF is on time. But that is only wishful thinking, so I´ll just have to wait and see...

Robyn - I've been taking Vitex to help regulate my cycles. It doesn't seem to be helping me though. I'm on cycle #3 with it and of the three my last cycle was 30 days long. I've started using NPC (natural progesterone cream) since my LP length seem to vary in length. I think I used it this cycle when I shouldn't have because I thought I O'd when I possibly didn't.
Chelsea - Hopefully the line was a true line!!!
Bella - The only reason why I think its been annovulatory is because I've had a number of temps below my coverline for the past week. I stopped taking my temps vaginally when my temp initially dropped since I thought I was about to get AF. I probably should have continued temping though. In the past cycles that I've had that were annovulatory I usually get AF on CD 41 so that would mean that I'll probably see AF on Monday. I'm seriously considering begging my ob/gyn to do a CD 3 test on me and a CD 21 test on me before I try the Clomid. Not sure if I should continue with Vitex though since it doesn't appear to be helping me out at all. What do you think?
bellabonga
09-02-2006, 04:05 PM
Sammy, I would probably call your obgyn next week and ask if he can do the CD 3 + 21 test next cycle. Then you could either ask him if you should continue with the Vitex or you simply take it during your next cycle to see how your results are while you are on the Vitex. But since you usually don´t combine Vitex and Clomid and you have no positive results by taking the Vitex, you could also drop it right now alltogether. That wasn´t much help, was it?

Good Saturday Evening to everyone! Thanks for all of the finger crossing and jealousy (:0) to my hearburn!! You ladies make me laugh! Still have heartburn and I've had something strange going on with my gum lately, my husband says it's gingivitis (sp?). Never had that before, but I know thats a big issue during pregnancy, just didn't know it could be a sign of a BFP!! I'm trying hold out testing, I gave in yesterday....it was BFN but I had to try. I'm due for AF in about 10 days....eeekkk...that's a LONG time to wait!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed for all you ladies this month. This is so stressful!!! :) Have a great weekend!

Hey Bella,
I see you're here now too - how are you doing? I appreciate your wishful thinking that my spotting is something more, but I had a big temp drop this morning. This is my first month charting, but combined with the cramps I had last night, I'm thinking AF should be here sometime today/tonight.
I just want to know why I had 5 days of spotting before AF! Your spotting was instead of AF, right? I expect(ed) AF today, so it's not spotting in place of - just leading up to - which is why I am so bothered by it.
No word from melg - maybe she'll come back with a good test report :)
Good luck Tenny - hope she doesn't show for you!
For me - the best thing about AF hopefully showing soon- I would love to get rid of this bloat! - ugh - I have been feeling awful this week!
Sorry for all the BFNs:(
Tenny - still holding out very hopeful vibes for you!!
Me - very very light brown stain still, so I'm just waiting. Tempting to poas, but holding out as I have no symptoms and af is going to show. plus, if I get the brown stain turns into spotting and that holds on for 5-6 days, I'm going to want to test then prior to calling my dr. Since I don't think i'm pg I really will have a hard time going to the store to buy a test that I know is going to bfn - so I'm saving the one I have for now. Crazy much? see if I can keep the non-poas goign! :)
To address the eternal optimists out there (which I usually am): Yes, this could be something else, but we have not bd'd in 9 days and the last time I could feel my cervix was hard and low, so this is pretty late for implantation spotting. Also this is how it started last cycle... so I don't want to get my hopes up, KWIM?
having a very relaxing weekend with DH though - so that's great!! We are resting - we'll have to get our energy up for another bd marathon!!
ETA: Brown starting to pick up a little now.... ugh!

Robyn, sorry about the temperature drop! :( My spotting had some red mixed into it and was at the time of AF. I guess my body needed some time to recognize that I was pregnant. The second and third time I was pregnant, I did not have any spotting or bleeding at all. If you really have no hope left, I´m crossing my fingers for you that AF finally comes and you can start over new.
melg, sorry for the spotting getting worse but so far it sounds as if you are still not out. Good luck! :)
Tenny, sorry about AF! :(
Delsol, my DD was conceived on CD 11, so it doesn´t have to be just for fun! :D
Me: I have a bad cold and am torn between taking every medicine I have at home and taking nothing, just in case. Which is kind of BS as you all know that I´m not even sure if I O´d. So far I have taken something against my stuffed nose (but only at night) and as I can already feel the mucous sitting on my bronchia I have taken one of DD´s herbal cough sirups. I will take a hot bath in a little while and think I´ll go to bed early tonight.

I don't blame you for not wanting to do the lap yet. I had never had surgery before and I was really scared too. I would definitely recommend doing the HSG if you can. From what I have heard, it's not bad at all. I don't think they opened my blocked tube....I really don't know! Maybe they hoped the dye would flush it out. I will have to ask! I hate being in the dark! DH talked to my Dr. after, but didn't know what questions to ask (I was still too out of it).

Bella, There's no way to get my appt moved up, I made it back at the first of August and that was the soonest, but I really don't know if I have even O'd I had a positive OPK and EWCM so I thought I did, but I had that same thing about 10 days before then as well, so maybe by my dr appt AF will still not have come, last cycle was 75 days, this one could be as well. Hope you start feeling better, I wouldn't worry about taking meds, you should be ok.
Tenny sorry about AF:(
DelSol good luck on catching the egg!!
Monty sorry about the BFN, if AF isn't due for 10 days its probably just to early
Melg I hope AF stays away and the spotting stops, good luck!
Robyn probably not to early if I did O when I thought I did, I would be 13 dpo, but maybe I just still haven't O'd and am not going to. Sorry for the temp drop and spotting.
OK, I think I got everyone, Thanks you guys, I felt so down this morning and the more I think about it the more down I get. My guess is I didn't O when I thought I did or else I would have gotten a BFP or some sign that AF is on her way, no usual cramps or anything. I think its going to be another really long cycle with no O. I took an OPK just now and its almost positive, seems like any that I take are really dark, just barely lighter or as dark as the control line, any one know what causes that, out of the 30+ that I have taken in the last 4 months I can only think of one that was really light but it still had a line there. Well, my dr appt is at the end of the month, I probably won't have AF by then I bet so I can get provera and hopefully start something to help me O.

I think its safe to say I am out - really bad cramps at the moment and started spotting earlier in the afternoon
I was reading pregnancy symptoms and had thought maybe I was and was going to test in the AM - guess I saved myself some $
bleah :P
onto cycle #3
Boo!
Sorry Docony for AF.
Anyone getting BFPs this weekend or still in the running for a BFP soon?
Mel, are you the next one?
My current cycle length kind of sucks... this is only the 3rd day of September, but haven't even *really* gotten to CD1 yet, so I am now hoping for BFP in October?!? ugh!
It seems like I skipped August, waiting for early Sept, and now I'm out for Sept already. A month can seem like an eternity, huh?
DH was a little disappointed when I told him today we're almost certainly out. But he sort of is the same as me. just wondering why it isn't working... so far, but no reason to really ask the question yet. we are both still happy to be just the two of us. in fact, he said if we are not prego by Nov/Dec we may go on a cruise! I said we could still do that if I am pregnant!

I had a big post typed up but decided it was to down and depressing so I erased it, still no AF, but like I said yesterday, I have doubts that I even O'd, so we shall keep BDing until my dr appt and see what happens then.

bella ~ right now I don't have any EWCM. I hope you feel better.
Chelsea ~ thanks, I'm gonna try hard to catch the eggie. I hope you are feeling better. TTC takes a toll on us emotionally.
docoNY ~ sorry AF showed.
melg ~ you got the spirit, go on the cruise anyway. You never know what could happen. ;) We're trying to plan a trip to Vegas & the week that works out the best might be a fertile week for me.

Jess, that´s strange that you didn´t have an appointment the next day to tell you what exactly they´ve done! My friend told me that here in Germany they don´t open blocked tubes anymore because here that is believed to be an outdated method (but don´t ask me why). Here they move on to IVF as soon as they know you have blocked tubes. Which I don´t really understand as health insurance pays for opening blocked tubes and you have to pay IVF yourself ($1250 a try). I´m crossing my fingers for you that they opened your tubes because IMO that is why you would do a laparoscopy for instead of a HSG.
Chelsea, I´m sorry that you are so down but I think it´s understandable as 5 months are already a long time to wait for a BFP. And your long cycles with questionable Os certainly put a lot more stress on TTC as well. So no need to feel sorry that you are down! That´s what we are here for to listen to, too, aren´t we? I hope you can get an appointment sooner at your old obgyn and that way move up your time table. If you wouldn´t have those very long cycles I would have suggested to buy digital OPKs instead but with your cycles you would probably have to spend a fortune.
Happy anniversary - hope it gets better once you are home! :)
docoNY, sorry about AF.
melg,I´m still holding out some hope for you this cycle. ;)
Delsol, I know someone like the one on Baby Story in real life. She stopped her BCP and got pg in the first week after her last BCP! Can you believe that?! O´d so early and is now 16 weeks pregnant?! And that although she wasn´t even sure if she really wanted a baby. Life just isn´t fair.
Me: Nothing new. I´m on CD 20 and haven´t BD since CD 15. Ovaries showed no sign of activity since CD 15, so I thought, why bother? :D Tomorrow I´m going for my CD 21 blood work and then it´ll be another week´s wait for the results. I´m not hoping for a BFP this cycle, I´m just curious if I O´d or not and if I can start Clomid this month or have to wait until October.

Hey Ladies,
I'm here too. Still trying to work which means I didn't even get out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine - ugh.
Af is slowly showing today - expect her in full force by tomorrow. The great thing about temping, I knew for sure she was coming with the temp drop the last 2 days so at least I didn't get my hopes up too much :)
going to call the dr. tomorrow - I don't care how long (or short) we've been TTC - 6 days of spotting is NOT normal.
will try to come back for SO's later - have a good day/night all!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my family and me. It has been a rough time but we are making it through.
I just wanted to come in and let you all know that I am back and will be checking in almost daily but I probably won't post as much. I can't ttc this month due to the procedure I had so I won't really have much to post anyway. I do know that I am most likely O'ing today. I have had EWCM mixed in with my spotting (still...yuck) and I am having pains on the right side today. Too bad we can't do anything about it.
Sorry that AF is visiting so many of us and that we didn't get the string of BFPs that we were all hoping for.
Bella~Just to answer for Jess. I didn't get a lap but I got an HSG and hysteroscopy and I don't go in to talk to my dr for 2 weeks either. They do that because they want to do a 2 week post op visit anyway, so they probably figure you'll be there anyway, so they'll talk to you then.
Hi all.
Looty - So glad that you checked in, we've been thinking of you.
Regarding TTC - sorry you can't do anything about Oing right now... but good that you are recognizing O and can feel it so next month hopefully....
Chelsea, poor girl - I hope tonight is better. Happy Anniversary!!
Robyn - sorry about AF, in the same boat as you. NOt sure how long my spotting will continue... but it's definitely the sign of AF for me too. Good luck with the dr. let me know what he/she says - I would be curious to know for myself too since I'm almost sure that a call in to my dr. will be needed in a few days too.
Delsol - I know, it's starting to get crazy hearing about all these people who get pg so easily. I guess that's why 5 months is average... some the 1st month, others 8 or more... etc. I'm so glad I have you guys to keep me sane! It's so hard.
Bella - thanks for thinking of me and keeping hopes up, but I think 99% I'm out, this is usually AF's early gift to me...
Me - Not too disappointed at this point about AF. Not sure exactly why. Could be that this month would have been complicated, or the fact that I didn't really have any symptoms. After my dream I really thought I'd me close to inconsolable, but I'm actually fine. Just trying to get ready for another month of bding!
It's definitely fun to have these dtd dates with dh, but it's hard because there is definitely a purpsoe and a little "pressure to perform". I never understood scheduled sex before (the articles on how to keep it alive usually say something about it to make sure you do actually have sex) since it seemed so contrived, but now I can see how it is exciting.
Oh well, that's all for me. happy labor day!
back to work tomorrow... ugh.
short week though! then DH and I are driving up to the mountains and meeitng my mom there for a mini vaca.

RobynScott I'm interested to see what your doctor says about the spotting. That's exactly what happened to me last cycle. I spotted on and off for about 8 days and then my normal period finally started. That's never happened to me before so I thought it was really weird. I was going to wait and see what my next cycle was like and then go from there. I should know in a week or two if I'm pregnant or not so we'll just have to wait and see.

Happy Anniversary Chelsea!!!
Sounds like a disappointing weekend for all. Sorry to those who got BFN or AF showed. I was really hoping that we would have a bunch of BFP today.
Well I have no idea what is going with me. Looks like an annovulatory cycle for me. I had all the signs or O and a temp rise for 3 days and then it went down for 4 and back up today. I have had severe cramps and constipation since Friday, totally ruined my weekend. So at this point I am sure we are out of the running and I am actually praying for AF to show so the pain goes away :( But it is very strange for me to have cramps like this for so long before AF shows. Usually its just a couple days. I am totally frustrated and upset. my carefree attitude of last month has certainly gone out the window :p

Sunshine thanks!!
Well, I had a rotten day yesterday, I should have just stayed away from here and not brought the thread down yesterday, sorry all! Today is starting off much better, although....I had planned on no more testing til I went to the dr at the end of the month, I have no more tests and its not worth spending the money on them to get a BFN, on Sunday I had looked at the BFN instantly, got upset and threw it in the trash after only maybe a minute, way less than the 3 it says to wait, I looked at it last night and thought I saw something so I pulled it apart, there is a light line there, very light but the top and bottom is definitly there, has anyone gotten an evap line on a first responce? I never have, ever so now I may just have to test again just to see, but if it is another BFN I don't want to, what do you all think?

I promise to try and come back later for SO's. Just a quick thougt for Chelsea - maybe that's why the OPK's keep coming out positive for you? HCG in your system? (even though you know you're not supposed to use an OPK as HPT ;)
As for me - CD2 - made a drs. appointment for 9/14 (which I guess will be CD 11) - I'm just glad that they are fitting me in so fast!
Last time I was waiting to O I was on the cruise so I had no time to think about stuff - hope I get/stay busy at work so I can (try to) obsess a little less in the Wait to O than I did in the 2WW!
Have a good day all!

chelsea ~ it is hard to see, very faint. Even though you don't want to go out and spend the money, you may want to just to ease your mind.

dancn226~Just so you know, I am PRETTY sure we conceived after I O'd! Or, what I mean is, we BD'd after I O'd and the little guys still caught the eggie! We BD'd about 4 hours after O tho.......
Try and see if you can feel when you O. It felt like a dull cramp for me on one side only:D Then you can guesstimate about how long it has been since O:D
GOOD LUCK!

Sunshine~ Thanks for that. I acutally think I can tell when I o, except, I am not always sure that is it. In which case, that is how i felt yesterday. But then again, my one side hurt, and then a couple of hours later my other side started to hurt. Very weird. Anyhow, if things don't happen this month, I am going to start charting. I am tired of feelign like i have no idea what is going on with my body. I keep a calendar of everything, when I start, when I end, all of that crap, and its still not making sense. melandtim I really hope this cycle isn't annovulatory!
FSUSammy Sorry no real O yet! Hopefully the spotting will stop and you will O soon!
ceaserbride I think I'm going to go with the every other day method too! Good Luck!
dancn226 I hope you can get some BD in while the egg is still around!
Chelsea First of all HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Ok.....I see something on the test. Is that a FRER test? I have always had very good luck with those test including getting a BFP the same day I had blood drawn and my HCG were less then 15. I think if AF doesn't come then wait a few days and take another one. If it has the same kind of line I would call the Dr and see what they say. Hopefully they will be able to take blood and tell you one way or the other!
As for me AF arrived on Sunday and I okay with it. I really didn't think we covered our bases well enough with me being sick and all. But now I have an emotional dilemma. Not sure if you all will be able to help me with it, but I'll throw it out there anyway. The first time I got pg I had a missed miscarriage at 12w5d and a d&c the next day. My due date for that pg was June 10, 2004. Well since I got AF on Sunday that means if I would get pg this cycle my due date (according to the circle chart the Dr. use) would be June 10, 2007. The same day! I don't think I'm so upset about the due date. But I worry about 12w5d coming and not only it being the same point in the pg, but also the exact same date I found out I lost the baby. So know I'm not sure if I was to even try this cycle. DH thinks no matter what a baby is a blessing and that a date is just a date. I some how think it might (I know not very logical) jinx the pg.
I don't know....if you were in my shoes what would you do?
(I might post this question in the m/c thread to get their opinions too)

looty, that must be very frustrating to know you are O´ing today and are not allowed to BD this cycle. :( Why aren´t you allowed btw? Is the lining too thin after a hysteroscopy or why is it? Although I certainly understand why they want to do a post-op examination, I still think in an ideal world you should have an appointment the next day after your operation to discuss its results.
melg, it´s good that you are so positive despite AF showing. I can see both sides of scheduled BD too - in the beginning of BD time it is exciting to have BD dates but I think it gets exhausting as the cycle continues and I also feel a lot of pressure to perform and get it to the end.
melandtim, that´s weird that suddenly so many of us think we have anovulatory cycles. Must be like the virtual cold. :D Could something else have affected your temperature? At least I´m crossing my fingers for you that this is the case and that you are our first BFP this month. Somehow I have a good feeling for you.
Sammy, strange that you are having an anovulatory cycle too! Only three more days to go until your procedure. What if AF starts after your procedure? Say on the weekend? Would you be allowed to start TTC right away then?
ceaserbride, I don´t think it´s too late to start the grapefruit juice. In fact I started it with AF last month and that was too early. As far as I know you are supposed to drink it in the days up to O-day.
Chelsea, if you had to pick the test apart to see the line, it is no valid line. It has to appear on the same layer as the control line. If you go to my journal, there is a picture of a test I picked apart last month which also had a line on the lower layer. As you know, I tested again with a digital and it turned out to be a BFN. If I just understood your description wrong and the line was on the top layer, I would wait some more days and then test with a digital.
Robyn, good that you got an appointment rather quickly. I hope they have some answers for you.
DelSol, what a bad coincidence that your DH has to take these meds now! That must be frustrating.
dancn, I have read two different versions: one says that the egg can be fertilized up to 12 hours after ovulation, the other says that it is absolutely pointless to BD after ovulation. Maybe you are lucky and the egg waits until tomorrow. :)
Tenny, sorry about AF but good that you aren´t that down. I can certainly understand your EDD dilemma. For me it was already weird that I would have had a March 2007 EDD for the same day I conceived my m/c Olivia. So having both EDD on the exact same date would somehow freak me out too and make me superstitious. But I wouldn´t waste a cycle for that. Some people on the m/c boards I have been to think that the soul of the baby you´ve lost will come back to you later in a healthy body. So if you try to see it this way, it might actually be a positive date for you. :)
Me: I´ve had my bloodwork done today and woohoo, when I asked her how long the results would take she said it should be there in two days! :D So I have no clue why it took them a week last month but if she is right, I will already know on CD 23 if I O´d or if I´m out. Maybe it will be even more frustrating to know that I can´t be pregnant but OTOH I won´t get my hopes up for nothing this way. And it gives me some more days to work out what it being done next and when it is being done. So this was actually a good day for me. Strange thing was that I asked the assistant who drew my blood if my low # last cycle said that I definitely did not O and she could not answer that. Ummm, if she is examining my blood to find out my hormone #s, shouldn´t she know what the result means?

Okay, so I don't want to sound ultra-negative in my first posts here, but just wondering, has anyone else been reading any kind of pregnancy books? I just finished one about fertitlity called "Getting Pregnant-What Couples Need to Know Right Now" and I swear, based on that book, DH and I might as well toss in the towel right now because of our lifestyle and habits. It seemed like EVERYTHING that we eat, drink, are exposed to, you name it, it hampers our chances of getting PG! It was really, really depressing for me and DH told me that I needed to take it with a big grain of salt. So has anyone else been reading a book that just made you despair of ever getting PG? Its kinda how I feel right now and we haven't even had one full cycle to BD for yet! :(
Any of you ladies dream about getting the BFP? Ever since DH and I made the decision that we wanted kids, which has only been a month or so, I've had two dreams in the past two weeks where I took a pregnancy test and got the BFP. It was little disconcerting when I woke up, but of course, I'm hoping its a sign. ;)

jimmysgirl, I haven´t read any TTC-related books but I wouldn´t worry too much. DH and I are both smokers and DH had also been out with friends and was drunk the night I conceived our first daughter. We both also don´t eat overly healthy (although this has already gotten better since my first pregnancy) and still I got pregnant twice. For even worse examples think about how many alcoholics still have a bunch of children. So even if your chances are lower than those of people with perfect lifestyles, I don´t think they are much lower.
To answer your second question: No, surprisingly I don´t. But since I don´t get much sleep anyway, I hardly dream at all. I usually only dream shortly before I wake up on my own and I can´t remember the last time no one woke me up. Although I have to admit that I dreamt last night but it was a rather steamy dream about my first boyfriend... :o

Jimmysgirl - I have a book like that, once I realized what it was about I just kind of thumbed through it and then never looked at it again. Plenty of women get pg while smoking/drinking/etc. so I'm not going to stop having a glass of wine with dinner or a drink or two on the weekend and I'm not planning on asking DH to stop having the occasional drink either.
Funny you should mention dreaming about a BFP. I've had that exact dream in my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cycles. For me it didn't turn into a real BFP but I hope it does for you! This time I dreamed that I was breastfeeding a baby girl. Hopefully 5th cycles the charm! And I'm dorky enough to believe that because I had a different dream then I might be pg

Bella - Not sure if I'd be able to start TTC right away after the endoscopy. I guess it all depends on what the doc finds. If he has to do a biopsy for some reason then it could be at least a week before I get the results back of that. Hopefully this is just a formality and he goes in and sees nothing wrong with me. If he does than then I just need to convince DH that we ARE ready for a baby financially. He's so afraid of not being able to comfortably afford a child. Hopefully your bloodwork will give you some good answers!
Welcome Kym!

Welcome jimmysgirl!
Bella~I think they prefer that you don't bd due to infection issues. The cervix supposedly doesn't close completely right away and there can be some irritation which could get infected. The instruction is actually "Nothing in the vagina for 4 weeks (no tampons, douching, or intercourse)."
Good luck Lana and Chelsea!

Sammy, I´m crossing my fingers for you that your endoscopy will be best case scenario. Has your DH been bothered by that before too when you were TTC or has something happened that he is now worried?
looty, I did not think about that but it´s probably just the same like after a d&c. But that is only because of the hysteroscopy, isn´t it? Because from what I´ve heard you can BD right away after a HSG, can´t you?
Lana, sorry about AF. :( What is B-Complex and what is it for?
Me: CD 22 and basically I´m a nervous wreck. I wish it was already tomorrow afternoon and I would already know if I O´d or not. My ovaries showed much activity on CD 14+15 and nothing after that. Only it did not feel the way it usually feels when I O. But because of the high activity on CD 14+15 I still hold out hope and I know I will be very disappointed if the doc says tomorrow that I did not O. Oh, the joys of waiting...

Welcome Jimmysgirl! I think you need to take some of that stuff with a grain of salt. I know people who smoke, drink (and I mean drink) who seem to have no problem popping kids out right and left. I tried not to read too much since I can get a little obsessive about things :p I have 2 pregnancy books and I have read up to the point of congrats you are PG and figure I will continue when I get there :p
Oh Lana, I was so hoping you would get a BFP :(
Chelsea - Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Bella - Thanks! I hope you are right!! The only thing I can think of that would throw my temps off is that I woke up very very cold several days and since it was around 5 AM (I usually temp at 4 but had a rare weekend to sleep in) I temped. Hope you get the results you want tomorrow!! Are you feeling better?
Looty - hope you are doing ok :) Keeping you in my thoughts.
CD25 for me today. Cramps much much better today which is odd, they usually get worse till AF arrives and then stop. Now just more of an annoyance than anything else. Temp the highest its been all cycle. AF usually arrives CD 28 so we will see, last month she arrived on CD25.

Bella - Thanks for the best wishes on my test. As for DH the reason why he is worried is because we just got our property tax bill. We bought our house last year and it was just assessed by our county this year. Since we live in South Florida its super expensive to own a house down here. Our tax bill went up by $4000 for the year which is a HUGE increase. Which turns out to an additional $350 per month coming out of our pockets. So that's why he's worried. He is the kind of guy that wants to have a cushion in our bank accounts just in case something was to happen, thank god for that because I'm the opposite. So that's why he's worried all of a sudden. Hopefully when we look at our finances later this month he'll see a better outlook.
Mel - I hope AF stays away from you.
Me - CD 43 for me. Still no AF. Spotting has stopped. My temps are still low so its just a matter of time before she arrives. DH asks me daily if she has arrived. I think he's getting worried that something is wrong with me. We know there is no chance that we are PG. He thinks that it could be the medicine I've been on the past month to control the acid reflux causing an annovulatory cycle. Not sure if that's the case or not. How long do you guys think I should wait before I call up my ob/gyn to beg for provera to bring on AF???

Sammy - Ouch that's a lot of money. Is your cycle normally that long? If it isn't I would call your dr but if it is I would wait till it was a ways past your longest cycle. JMO. I am begining to realize that no cycle is the same :)

melandtim, what, 5am is sleeping in for you?! I have no clue if sleeping one hour more could influence your temperature but your now increasing temperature sounds very promising!
I´m feeling better (cold-wise) and only have some bronchitis left which doesn´t bother me too much. I even continued to spray-paint some closet doors today.
Sammy, that is a lot of money! I can understand that your DH is worried about that. Although I have to admit that I´m more of the carefree people myself and always hope that it´ll somehow work out. I´m crossing my fingers for you that you´ll be able to find something positive that balances it out.
I have no clue whether your medicine could influence your cycle length. Maybe email the company that produces the medicine and ask. I have written emails like this before and so far they always answered fast and very nicely. If this cycle length is very unusual for you, I would call your doctor by the end of the week.

Dancn- My theory is (how good of a theory it is I'm not sure) If you're not sure, keep on BD'in!
RobynScott- I find the wait to O this month just as bad as the 2ww last month. Although we were on our honeymoon while I was "waiting" to O so there wasn't much waiting going on...
Tenny- I would do what you feel comfortable doing. Definatly go with your gut.
So sorry about your previous loss.
Lanapoo- Aww, stupid AF! Sorry:( Best of luck next month!
Jimmysgirl-Welcome!!
Bella- Good luck! I'm crossing my fingers that you O'd!
MelandTim- Sounds very convincing! Best of Luck!! When will you test?
Sammy- DH asks me daily if she has arrived. My DH does the exact same thing all the way up to the day she had arrived.
I probably would have called the doctor already but I have pretty regular cycles. It depends on your history I think.
Me: CD9. I was hoping to start BDing regularly from here on in but we're going to the Jays game tonight so it could be a late night. I just really want to cover *all* our bases this month and since I really have *no* idea when I'll O, I was just thinking "we'll just do it all the time":p

Bellabonga - Thanks for the sympathy. B-Complex (a variety of B vitamins) can be found in a pill or liquid form. I prefer the liquid form because you hold it under your tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing and you absorb more of the nutrients that way. I read on the Ovusoft herbal boards that it can help regulate your cycle and also a co-worker recommended it. I took it regularly for my 3rd and 4th cycles and they were both 28 days. I didn't really take it last cycle and my cycle was 26 days. So I'm going back on it for sure.
Melandtim - You're too funny trying not to get your hopes up :) . There's nothing wrong with thinking positive ;)

And the days just roll on, CD26 for me, temp still up. I have AF symptoms and pg symptoms but with those several days of low temps its very unlikely. But boy am I tired. I almost fell asleep last night in the shower :p I am starving but not craving my usual popcorn.

Good Morning ladies. I'm on CD 44 today. Still no AF. I have a splitting headache today though. I stopped taking some additional supplements yesterday. I remembered something yesterday about my last annovulatory cycle. A few cycles back I got this bright idea (after reading boards) that I should take B complex to help lengthen my LP. Well that cycle looked a lot like this one where I had a temp shift that lasted 11 days and then my temp dropped and was hovering around my CL for several days. I then stopped taking the B Complex and a day or two later I got AF. This cycle was the first cycle that I started taking "girl" supplements (to make my environment more acidic) and I had the same experience where my temp went up and then 11 days later my temp dropped below my CL.
So we'll see if AF comes in a day or two.
Sam

Good Morning Ladies!
I'll be back for shout outs, have to get ready for some training.
I'm on CD15, looks like my temp jumped up so I'm thinking today might be O day, no pains yet so hopefully I can catch the egg tonight & tomorrow. We did some BDing last night, DH was tired so it was suppose to be a quickie but didn't turn out that way. When I got home form work I said we have to DTD tonight and he asked baby time? I said yup and he was cool with it but said he was tired (he didn’t go to bed until 3AM) and it's would have to be a quickie so I would have to consider tonight to be sperm transfer only, no fun before hand. (Now I’m thinking I’ve been telling you for days that Wednesday through Saturday would be the days, guess he wasn’t listening or forgot) I said fine but tomorrow you're gonna get your A game on! He agreed. I was laughing because he was saying tonight is sperm transfer only. Only my DH! :p

He said that if he had to give me grades, my progesterone was A-B and my estrogene could be better but was still a C+. Just to be really sure I asked him if I O´d and he said that I definitely did! :D So he told me to continue the Vitex and said that right now we are not doing anything. Next cycle we are supposed to just SWH and the cycle after that I´m supposed to come in for another CD 21 bloodwork. So now I can definitely indulge in FPS during the last WW since we´ve covered our bases pretty well. Only that I don´t have any FPS so far but I´m sure I´ll find some soon... ;)

caeserbride - Yup its a long cycle. I guess I'm coping because I'm used to it? How sad to say I'm used to it. Ugh. I'm pathetic! LOL

Congratulations Yolanda!! Happy and healthy 9 months to you!
Welcome Bibay :) Hope your stay is short and sweet and you get a BFP soon.
Ceaserbride - Ah, so I'm not the only one with the booty-big-a$$ problem. LOL. Diet started today and I'm working out with my neighbor on Wednesdays and Fridays. OK, so it's not much but you gotta start somewhere ;)
Melandtim - B-Complex is supposed to help with regulating length and also Luteal Phase problems (shortness/spotting etc.). But as FSUSammy mentioned, it doesn't work for everybody and she obviously had an adverse reaction to it. I'm not sure what it does for ovulation since I wasn't temping or charting when used it. I'm temping now so I guess we'll see if I'm doing okay in the ovulation department after I see a temp jump.
Me - Nada. AF, dieting and exercise = blah, blah, and blah :p

dancn226 ~ I'll keep my fingers crossed that the meditation works. I've looked at some charts that they end of PG and wonder how.
cesearbride ~ so true some days you gotta do what you gotta do to get that sperm!

bella ~ no FPS could be a good thing, I drove myself crazy with FPS analyzing everything.
lana ~ I'll be shortly behind you if I don't get PG this cycle with diet & exercising. I'm starting my water aerobics again on Tuesday.
Me ~ CD16. My bedroom was so cold because I had a fan in the window blowing all night long that my temps were low. I waited a half hour and they jumped back up. I'm going to see what they do tomorrow and not have the fan on all night long.

Ericka he is sooo cute, I hope he gets to come home in the next couple days, I know how it is leaving him there, my ds#2 was a little early and we had to leave him home, he got to come home when he was 5 days old, hope its soon for you guys!!
Bella glad your dr was able to confirm O, I hope you caught the egg!
Mel sorry about the spotting, hope it leaves quick and AF is a no show
Lana I hope AF leaves quick and that this next cycle will be your month!
dancn I hope the meditating worked and the swimmers found the egg! LoL
Me, sorry I haven't been around much the last few days, works been long.
CD 50, no sign of AF, no real FPS either so we shall see, I thought about getting a test today but I really don't have any FPS to make me think there is even a chance of being pg so I didn't. I did however have a big *pregnancy brain* last night, thats what I would like to blame it on but since I'm not pg then I guess it was as my dh called it *a blond moment* He had told me he would pick up Corbin from my moms last night after work, my sister had my older son because she picks him up from school for me, so I go straight home and am cooking dinner when DH comes home and asks where Trysitn was, this was over an hour after I was supposed to have picked him up, I forgot my own son:o I felt so bad, my sister was just rolling on the floor laughing at me. My DH joked that we should stop TTC because I can't even keep track of the two that we have, I might forget a third at the grociery store or something. Ahh, a mom that forgets her own kid, I'm terrible:o :p

Chelsea ~ I'm sorry but I am laughing, I know it's not funny. Those are the moments you know you have a lot on your mind!
Well know I am kinda scared: (cross posted from Charting)
I put in a fake temp for tomorrow and noticed FF is saying I O'd on CD 14 which after looking at my chart is probably true from my temps. Now I am worried since we didn't BD before O, we BD'd on CD 14 & 15 plus we were going to BD tonight & tomorrow because I was trying to cover my bases for an O on CD 15 or CD16. Plus I really can't tell what my CM is like today, can't distinguish between sperm & CM, while at work. :o
Do you think I have a good chance of catching the egg without doing the BD on CD13?
One person at work knows we are TTCing and we were talking about this yesterday, she asked if I was ovulating and I was said yup! I guess you know what I'll be doing when I get home. :o So she gets into work this morning and says I was praying for you last night. I laughed and said I was praying for myself too.

Hey ladies. Thanks for all the well wishes for my procedure.
I just got back from my endoscopy. I'm EXHAUSTED so I'll make this a quick post. The doctor said I have gastritis. He did see some spots in my stomach and took 2 small biopsies. I won't have the results until sometime late next week. He wants me to go to a follow-up appointment next month. So I'm guessing no TTC until at least that appointment. Oh well I want to be healthy before we have a baby on the way because I know morning sickness will just make this sooo much worse!

FSUSammy I'm glad your procedure is done and over with at least! What exactly is gastritis if you don't mind me asking?
Bella YAY on ovulating!! That is exciting! Now, please tell me cause I have no idea...what the heck does FPS and SWH mean? I looked in the TTC abbreviations thread and didn't see either there. :o
Bibay626 Welcome! :)
Yolanda Woohoo!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Here's to a healthy PG!!
Chelsea Sorry...but I was LOL too! Its okay though, I'm pretty sure those things happen to the best of us! :)
Sorry..I'm new to the shout-outs, so if I missed any ladies, I'm sorry.
ME: Well, I think I am psyching myself out. I took my last BC pill on 8/13 and AF should have been there that week as I still was on cycle. Well, she never showed. And still hasn't. I took an HPT over a week ago and it was negative. No sign of AF this week either, but I've been experiencing breast tenderness and some mild cramping. Then last night, I met DH at a bar and had a margarita. It gave me instant heartburn and I ended up leaving it on the table. Then I left the bar even though DH was still there with friends because I felt yucky. On the way home, I was so tired I felt like I could just go to sleep while I was driving. Ate chicken for dinner; heartburn. Drank green tea and water; heartburn. Ate two pieces of sugar free chocolates; heartburn. Then I passed out on the couch at 9:30. I swear, if I didn't know any better, I would totally think I was PG. But the chances of that are slim to none considering how little sex DH and I had last month. It would be a freakin' immaculate conception almost! :o  Anyway...I just wish AF would get here already so we can start BD in earnest. Doctor wants me to wait till I've had at least one AF before we try and so far, that hasn't happened. UGH!

Kym - Apparently gastritis is a condition where your stomach lining get's somewhat eaten away. Thank god I caught it now because it can cause ulcers. A number of things can cause it but one thing in particular is an infection called H. Pylori. The doc took biopsies to test to see if I have that. If so I'll be on some heavy antibiotics to rid it.

Jeez. That sounds really awful. I'm glad it was caught in time though, otherwise it would probably be much worse! I hope the biopsy comes back negative and that you are okay!
Sorry I have no time for shout outs... just sneaking in to let you know I probably should have tested afterall last weekend....
I tested this morning.... BFP! It was the only test I had, so I will go get more this afternoon after work.
So nervous and excited at the same time, and really, I can't believe it. I really did not think I was pregnant. So, we will see.

melg, congratulations! Happy and healthy nine months to you! :)
Chelsea, good thing you forgot Tristyn only at your sister´s house and not waiting outside his school or something like that. ;) Last month I forgot my dog at Maya´s kindergarten and only remembered it after 20 minutes of shopping. Poor dog sat outside in the rain barking under the principal´s office window. :o
Have you tried to get an appointment with your former doctor? CD 50 is already very long again. Hope AF arrives soon if you´re not pg.
Delsol, if you really think you O´d on CD 14 and only BD on CD 15 and 16, your chances are not good. This is what it says on the first page of this thread:
Here are your odds of conceiving:
1 in 5 each month
1 in 10 each month if you are over 35
1 in 2 after 4-5 months
4 in 5 after one year
1 in 5-10 in the second year
1 in 2.5 if you make love once a day during the fertile time
1 in 3 if you make love every other day during the fertile time
1 in 10 if you make love only once 4-5 days before ovulation
1 in 30 if you make love only once a month
1 in 7 if you make love 5 times a month
1 in 3-4 if you make love 10 times a month
Zero if you ONLY make love after ovulation
I hope you´re wrong and you really O´d on CD 15!
Sammy, sorry about the gastritis! But can´t you ask your doctor about TTC when you get the results next week? As you are still in your old cycle, you will get the results before you´ll O in the next cycle, so it can´t hurt to ask. Maybe if you don´t have to take the heavy antibiotics, they can prescribe something to you that allows TTC. Good luck and get better soon! :)
jimmysgirl, your symptoms sound very promising! Maybe you should test this weekend again. You and melandtim could follow in melg´s footsteps, even if you did not BD much. It only takes BD once - and I speak from experience ;) Good that you asked - I always thought FPS meant False Pregnancy Symptoms. Whereas I have noticed that some people use it for First Pregnancy Symptoms which makes it quite confusing.
Me: There I was yesterday, totally excited because I O´d and now I´m only on CD 24 (9DPO) and have some light pink spotting. So I guess AF will show tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I´m disappointed because now it gets very unlikely that I will be pg and know that the baby does not have trisomy 21 on Olivia´s EDD in December. OTOH it is probably good that I´m not pg because I breathed in lots of spray paint fumes this month and my cold has returned with a very hurting throat - similar to the way it started when I was pg with Olivia. So somehow I would have feared that the cold might have been an indicator that again something was wrong, had I been pg. But if I don´t O early, we have a chance for a holiday baby this month which would also be cool. Although I really wonder why it did not work. We have been so good with our BD timing.

Melg we cross posted and I didn't even notice, Congrats!!!! Let me know if you are ready to be graduated and post your EDD
Bella 9 DPO and spotting could very well be implantation, it would be really early for AF, good luck!!
Thanks all, I'm still so nervous, and hoping that it sticks! I'm still spotting a little, so I'm just crossing my fingers. It's still so crazy.
Many of you were much more hopeful than even I was this month, so thank you for all that support.
I can't believe this... but I might as well be honest with you all... yesterday I was *so* convinced I wasn't pg that I drank several sips of whine. Probably a quarter of a glass to a third. eek! I was so careful before, but then *really* thought I wasn't. oh well, no use now worrying about it.
I just really really really hope this sticks, and that it's all good. I can't get to the dr. until 9/21, and I'll feel much better after that.
Thank you thank you, and keep the faith!!!!
I'll keep coming here... I don't have a due date yet and really am in the habit and like following along. Haven't gotten the courage (or belief) enough yet to go to May mommies....
ETA: remember my dream last week? That might have been implantation - how weird is that? The month before I got my period after dreaming about it. Good luck to you all who are having (and aren't) having dreams!!!!

Delsol, if you really think you O´d on CD 14 and only BD on CD 15 and 16, your chances are not good.

Looty - just get some rest and make sure with all the stress that you are taking care of yourself. Thanks for graduating me :)

Me: CD12 and we've been bding religously and I think we should have all our bases covered this month if we can stick to it. Unfortunatly we can't BD on "big" CD14 but we will on CD13 so it should be okay right?? Who knows I may not even O then... And just to be safe I told DH that we have to keep Bding straight through until CD17 or 18, with that long cycle last month who knows when I'm O'ing!

FSUSammy ~ sorry about the gastritis, glad you were able to catch it before M/S would start.
jimmysgirl424 ~ I think I forgot to welcome you. Welcome I hope your stay is short & sweet! Thanks, I've got everything crossed that we caught the egg. I hope AF shows up soon so can start BDing.
bella ~ I hope AF stays away.
melg ~ I'll take all the prayers I can get.
ceaserbride ~ my temps are up and I O'd on CD14 like I thought, earlier than normal so I am hoping we caught the egg. The girl at work is a single mom and she wants to give me her stuff, she was separating her DD's outfits and what could be for a boy/girl. I think if you BD on CD13 & CD15 you should be ok.
Me ~ CD17 3DPO. I am in my 2WW now. Well it looks like my O occurred on CD 14, so I'm hoping we caught the egg. We BD'd on CD14 - CD16, not the best timing but my normal O's have been CD 15 & CD 16 so CD14 was early for me. What can I do? I honestly didn't think I was going to do any BDing last night anyway because I got home from work and DH said his tummy was bothering him all day so I thought for sure we wouldn't be BDing but he surprised me and well I didn't go to your mom's but I know we have to try for a baby tonight. Then he added how he took at nap so he'd be ready for BD and he had a dream we were DTD and he as giving it to me anally. He know I don't go for that so I said well you know you were dream then because it's never gonna happen and that's not how babies are made! I told him we didn't have BD tonight so I think he was happy with that, we were both beat last night, but then he adds ohh we can do it anally so I laughed and said didn't I tell you last night that's not how babies are made we are not doing that! What a goober!

Man, this thread has become slow! Are you all too busy? Don´t we have any testers right now? What about melandtim? Or jimmysgirl?
Chelsea, I so hope you are right about implantation spotting but I´ve never had that so far. Anything new about you? AF? Tested again?
melg, don´t stress about so little wine. It really can´t do any hurt that early. That´s a long wait for a first appointment but at least then you´ll already be able to see the heartbeat. But I just remember that you usually don´t get an ultrasound but the doctors try to hear the heartbeat, don´t they? Here in Germany they always do ultrasounds which I personally find more comforting.
Delsol, good that you only mixed the dates up. Otherwise it would have been quite frustrating if you had missed the date entirely.
looty, I hope life gets easier for you again now that the funeral and your operation are over. :)
ceaserbride, good luck with the BD marathon! It probably doesn´t matter if you leave out CD 14 as most people only BD every other day anyway. But I tried the "the more, the better" approach this month too. ;)
KrissyCat, I hope you are right. :D
Me: I´m on CD 26 (11DPO) today. No spotting, no FPS, nothing. So I´m debating if I should test or not. I have no tests at home, so at least I can´t POAS, even if I want to. I think about testing tomorrow as I only have one Vitex pill left for tonight. If I´m not pg, I have to buy new Vitex tomorrow and if I was pg, I would have to stop the Vitex as soon as I found out. And since Vitex is more expensive than the HPT, maybe I´ll buy one tomorrow. ;) Only that 12DPO is quite early and I can´t test with FMU. We´ll see.

Bella good luck testing, any more spotting? No update on me, haven't tested since last Sunday, no FPS to make me want to test, no sign of AF either, I am pretty sure I will just wait until my dr appt which I think is the 27th.
Delsol I hope you caught the egg, just one BDing is all you really need right? Good luck in your 2WW
ceaserbride Good luck catching the egg, I don't think missing CD 14 is that big of a deal
Well, nothing new with me, I keep thinking that I want to go buy a test but then I think, I have had no FPS at all and nothing to make me think that I might be PG, since I am thinking I probably didn't even O whats the point of disapointment again right? So I will just be hanging out until my dr appt at the end of the month and hopefully he will do something to help.

bella ~ thanks. I'm hoping we caught it.
Chelsea ~ that's right it only takes once, let's hope I caught the egg.
Not much going on with me. CD 18 - 4DPO. DH was rude today by telling me I am getting bigger, like I need him to tell that I need to lose weight when I know I have to, it's just very hard. I guess if I'm not PG this cycle, I will diet better and still TTC. I'm already thinking about the next cycle without knowing if we were successful or not. I know it will be the first week of October. I was talking with MIL and she was mentioning about coming down on October 6th and stay the weekend because she has that Monday off. But with checking on Baby Center she'll only be here during the last 2 days of my fertile time. With my O's occuring anywhere between CD14 - CD16, we might be ok if she comes down on October 6th. If MIL comes down for a visit, she's got the worse timing. Wonder what I can to not make her come down then, the following weekend we have a wedding and it's DH's birthday also.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

ETA: DH was talking to his mom a little while ago and she told him how she wants to come down and she's bringing FIL also. She must have said something about a hotel and DH goes well you can send him (meaning his dad) to a hotel so I pip up and say I'll go to a hotel. DH gets off the phone with MIL and I say was she talking about coming down and he goes yeah on October 6th so I said which is the days I told you she was telling me. Then he goes is that going to be the week we need to make a baby? So I said well I don't know until I find out if we are PG or not from this cycle of trying. I know at least the 6th & 7th will be days we might have to TTC. I'm just going to have pray, we got lucky this cycle and we are PG.

I even had to bring my heat pad to work :p I was stupidly hopeful when it was a day late and the spotting had stopped but no it was just its cruel way of torturing me for a day longer, like 29 days wasn't long enough!! My head told me it was never going to happen since my temps didn't stay up the whole but my heart so wanted it to happen. I think I am destined to be 9 months PG during the hottest time of the year :p I'd take it over not being pg though~ Hmm so another month to work on losing some major weight!

Bellabona: I'M HERE~ :) Just been waiting and trying to catch up on my thread reading!!! BTW...you mentioned a holiday baby if you got pg this month??? Which holiday?? Or did I read that wrong? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
Ladies, I need your help!!!!! I had some spotting, and thought for sure AF was arriving....NOPE.....now no spotting, and somewhat watery CM. SO...I tested this am around 6 am and at first glance I thought it was negative (to be honest, I didn't even check it after 5 min. because that BFN sign came across so fast!) However, I just went to throw it away (about 45 min later) and I notice a faint but visable plus symbol???? EEEEEeeekkkk.....could it be a BFP or it is just because it sat for so long? It's my last one and if it was so weak, I'm afraid it will come up negative until I have morning urine again?? HELP!!! Could it be??? I called my husband at work and he told me to go buy more!!! Any help would be appreciated!!! THANKS LADIES!!!
Best of luck to all those testing this week!!!!

Hey ladies. No time for s/o's this morning. I'm on CD 48 still no AF. I actually think my body is once again gearing up to O because my temps have been creeping up everyday. Not like I can do anything with the egg though! It's ok, I rather be healthy than rush to get PG and be miserable with the reflux.
Be back later.

Monty - test again. Get a 2 pack so you can test later today and than again in the am. It could be the real deal or just evaporation lines since it was after when you are to read the test.
BABYDUST to all (I can only throw blue at this time :) )

DelSol- Good luck with the 2ww. Hopefully it goes by quickly for you!
Bella- I have my fingers crossed for you and tell AF to just stay away!! Good luck testing:)
Mel- Sorry AF felt the need to show her ugly face! I really had hopes for you this month:(
Monty- Please update us!!!!! Good luck testing again:D
Me: CD14 and well you all know the story. So I think I may have had some EWCM yesterday but I don't really know. It was such a small amount that it was hard to tell...but we've been BD'ing like we should if we wanna get preggo....I just really, really hope this is the month. I know, it's only the 2nd month ttc but I just want it to happen soon. I'm so ready.

Monty Test again and let us know as soon as you know!! Good luck, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
ceasarbride Well, I sure hope this month is the month for you! Keep on BD'ing!
Mel Sorry AF showed her ugly face. :( And look at it this way, whoever comes up with BFP later this month and next month will be right there with you for carrying during the hottest months. It will be my luck too. I live in MD and it gets so disgustingly humid here that even 80% with humidity makes it feel like a 100. Blech.
Ericka_Jarett Yet another dumb question. What does evaporation line mean? I have seen it mentioned here before and still haven't figured it out. :o
DelSol Is there no way to BD if your MIL is there when you ovulate? Couldn't you just lock yourself in your bedroom and turn on a radio and maybe a fan? Of course, I don't think there is anyway DH would want to BD if his mother was staying with us, so it makes sense if you guys are uncomfortable! Good luck with the 2WW.
Bella I would go ahead and buy the HPT now. Can't hurt, right?! ;)
ME: Well, another couple of days and still no AF. I have made up my mind that I will go ahead and test again in the next few days. We have a trip scheduled to Six Flags this weekend and if I happen to be PG, I'm not sure riding big roller coasters would be a hot idea. I have an extra test sitting in my desk drawer now, so I'll take it home with me as I would rather test using morning urine. I'll let you ladies know how it turns out.

Jimmysgirl- Oh good luck testing tomorrow morning! No FPS or AF symptoms???
Thats what is really driving me crazy! Breast tenderness (which could be either PG or AF symptoms), heartburn, extreme tiredness, mild nausea. I don't know if I'm talking myself into half of these symptoms or if they are for real.
melandtim Cool! A fellow Marylander! :D

Jimmysgirl: HA! My husband says I've given myself heartburn, nausea, and BB soreness!!! I'm the worst, I know how you feel!!! Let us know how your test turns out!
Me: Went and bought a 3 pack. Tried to not drink much fluid this morning so I wouldn't be too diluted...oh the things we do....!!!! I got another faint but definate line!!! It's looking like a BFP BUT I'm not holding my breath just yet (okay, maybe just a little!!!) So, I'll test in the morning and we shall see!!!!! EEeeekkk!!!
Have a great afternoon ladies!!!!

jimmy's - not a dumb ? at all. An evaporation line shows up usually when the urine has completely saturated the test as is starting to dry out. Once you are out of the testing window that is recommended, you can't look at the test again due to this line.
I took the Equate tests and once I got the BFP, would take a CBE Digital to confirm.

I try not to get my hopes up too much as I´m only CD 27 / 12 DPO but today in the afternoon I got a BFP. Not a real big fat line but definitely a line as wide as the control line, only fainter. DH could see it too. :p As it was a test that picks up from 25 on, I guess my hcg must be around 20. AF could still show tomorrow or the day after and I´m cautious to get too giddy after the m/c. But a BFP. :D

bella A line is a line girl.....CONGRATS!! I assume you are going to take another test? I'm sure the line will get darker!! I'm so happy for you!!
Monty Ya, get another test and look at it within the time limit!! But it sounds very promising!! I can't wait to hear the results of the next test!
jimmysgirl424 Good luck! You know with DS I tested right before I went to The Six Flags Water Park and it was BFN, so I rode ALL the rides! Two days later I got a BFP! Can't wait to hear the results!
ceaserbride I hear ya about being ready! I thought about taking this month off, but I just can't! I hope you catch that egg!!
melandtim Sorry AF arrived!:(
DelSol I hope you get your BFP this month and you don't need to worry about your MIL visit!
Chelsea524 I can't believe you haven't tested again! You have some will power!
Well it is CD 9 for and I'm going to take my first OPK ever today. It is weird before I had DS my cycles were 23 days long. Well my first couple cycles after DS they were on the longer side (well atleast for me) 35 days long. Well it seems like each cycle they get shorter and shorter. Three cycles ago it was 28 days, then two cycles ago it was 27 days and last cycle was 26 days. I really hope it doesn't go back to 23 days. So anyway, that is why I'm starting to take OPKs today.

Well ladies.....I'm going to have to confirm....a line is a line (even if it's really faint!!) I got a BFP on 2 test this am!!!!!!!!! YIPPPPEEEEE~
The only reason I am going to believe it now is that I feel like crap, feel like I've been on the merry-go-round for one too many hours!!!!!!! It's worse when I lay down and my period is way late, so I'm just going to accept it. I couldn't make a dr. appt till Oct. 4th but I figured that will okay (right?)

Bella- Like a PP said, a line is a line!!! Yeah!!! Congratulations! I can totally understand (well maybe not) not wanting to get your hopes up though. But come on, this is what youve been waiting for! Be happy:)
Tenny- Thanks! I was at the drug store looking at OPK last night but the price was scaring me a little. I think if we don't get what we're looking for this month then next month we'll start charting.
Looty- Hope all goes well at your follow up appt. on Wed and you can start swh again next month...
Me- CD 15 and still trying hard:) I still have no idea if I've O'd or not. I don't think I get O pains. I felt a little little little cramp last night but I was probably just imagining it!

Thank you all for the congratulations! :D
Monty, congratulations! :) Do you know your EDD yet?
I did not test again so far and don´t know if I will because the line is so definitely there that it does not seem to make sense to take another test. I will probably call my obgyn tomorrow or the day after if AF hasn´t arrived until then to make an appointment for the end of next week. Unfortunately that is way too early to see a heartbeat but we will go to Florida today in two weeks. So if I´ll see my obgyn before then, he can at least check my hcg level and rule out an ectopic by ultrasound. Not that I think that it´s an ectopic but I feel safer if that is ruled out before travelling so far away. Although I still don´t believe I´ll still be pregnant in two weeks.
My EDD is 5/23 which is very weird for me. On 5/23 my obgyn told me that Olivia had died and so I wonder why of all dates it had to be this one. But I try to see it as a good sign.
I hope you don´t mind if I´ll stay here for another while, even if the pregnancy sticks. I´ve come to like you all a lot and would miss you terribly. :)

Bella: Congrats!!! There is always a reason for things, so the date maybe a way of healing.....? Either way, I love your positive outlook! Looks like my EDD is around May 28th. I'm figuring there was conception around the 4th. I need to research that though, not exactly sure which day to use. I had spotting 9 days past 0, would I use my O date? What did you use?
I talked with the obgyn today and they said unless I have problems they like to see patients around the 7th week, so I'll be perfect with my prescheduled appt!!! Wierd how that worked out.
I'll be around too, unless you all kick me out....atleast until my dr. appt!!!

Bella and Monty, Congrats!!!! Happy and Healthy nine months to you!!!!!
Sorry for no real shout outs, I'll try to get in here longer tomorrow
Nothing new with me, CD 53 I think, tested yesterday and BFN, I expected it so I wasn't bummed at all about it. I don't think anything is going to change either way, AF or BFP until I go to my DR appt at the end of the month so I probably won't have many updates until then, but I will still read along and try to do shout outs as often as I can, DH and I have taken the week off so I'm not sure how much I will be able to get on here.

Hey ladies. CD 49 for me. Still no AF. I just put in a call to my ob/gyn to ask a nurse to call me back. I want to see if they will put me on provera to kick start AF. This is so frustrating. So now I'm patiently awaiting the nurse to call me back. I'll let you all know what they say.

melandtim ~ I know shame on people for not knowing we need our alone time. Guess it goes with the territory since we haven't told any family we are TTCing. Sorry about AF.
ceaserbride ~ I hope it goes by fast but right now it's dragging.
jimmysgirl ~ once I know how this month turns out I can figure out what needs to be done. ;) If need be I'll go home at lunch on the 6th but I think my fertile days will be in the beginning of the week so it should be good. Good Luck testing!
Tenny ~ I'm hoping too but so far no symptoms. Good Luck with the OPKs
Looty ~ good luck with the follow up appointment tomorrow.

melandtim, thank you for still wanting me around! :) I so hope you´ll get a BFP this cycle!
Monty, on my German TTC board you can calculate your EDD by using your CD 1 or your O-day. Generally the EDD is calcuted from CD 1 on. You only use O-day for an EDD if you have O´d on a totally untypical CD. My CD 1 was on August 16th. So if your EDD is May 28th, your CD 1 must have been on August 21st.
Chelsea, I hope you´ll enjoy your week off and I also hope that your appointment helps to end these neverending cycles.
Sammy, I hope for you too that they find something to shorten your cycles, not only this one.
Delsol, I´m crossing my fingers that you won´t need alone time that much anymore next month. ;)
Ericka, thanks!

Hey ladies. My ob/gyn nurse just called. She told me that since I have a history of long and irregular cycles she wants to see how long this one goes. She actually wants me to call next week if AF still hasn't shown. She did see on my records that the doc prescribed Clomid for me in July but I explained that I haven't taken it yet because of the acid reflux and she actually agreed with my gastroenterlogoist about holding off on TTC until the reflux is under control.
So no provera for me yet.

ceaserbride Keeping my fingers cross that you O soon. Charting is very informative. I think if it doesn't work for us in a few months I might start charting ago. Lets hope it doesn't come to that for either one of us!
Chelsea Sorry about the BFN:mad:
FSUSammy Sorry AF is taking so long!
DelSol Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Well a BFN is hard to see weather is a HPT or an OPK! I took my very first OPK ever yesterday and it was neg! I'll take another one today so we will see. But I was looking back at some of my old charts from before DS and I used to O around CD16 or 17 and then only have a 7-10 day LP. I forgot that. So I'm curious to find out when I O from the OPKs. I hope the short LP doesn't cause a problem!
