so why don't my regular jeans fit? :(

Wheezing ~ We are wondering if DS doesn't have the beginnings of asthma. He's been wheezing the past couple of weeks but it getting more and more. He is still wearing preemie clothes. I wonder if we are ever going to transition to newborn sizes.

Easter ~ Trying to figure out what size to buy his Easter outfit in. At this point I think he's still going to be wearing preemie size. I'd like to go ahead and buy the outfit but I also don't want to buy the wrong size. My luck if I buy one it's either going to be too small (if I buy preemie) or too big (if I buy 0-3 month). I also don't want them to be picked over either.

Nat ~ Addie is so cute with her Valentine's Day greeting.

Julie ~ Thanks. The rash is better since we switched to just soy. I'm actually used to it. I've gotten flowers twice (including this year) from DH since we've been together. Maybe he'll make up for it this year on our anniversary. Last year he got me a very beautiful necklace. Jewelry is always a nice gift.

Hedge ~ Thanks. Things seem to be better since he's on soy.

Liz ~ Thanks. It was yummy if I do say so myself. ;) I have maybe 1/2 cup of skim milk on cereal (when I eat it), I drink caffeine free diet Dr. Pepper (usually one can a day), and I don't eat beans (unless it's baked beans and I don't remember when that was last), and not big on broccoli (I just eat a piece here and there raw. I had a couple of pieces Superbowl Sunday and that's it). I only eat cabbage in cole slaw and that isn't often.

Megan ~ I hope m/s stays away until after March 6th. Best of luck with your dissertation defense! Fingers crossed that the suit still fits too. Very soon we'll have to start putting Dr. in front of your name. ;)

I can't believe that we all started this group over at the WC! Doesn't that seem like ages ago!? It is neat that we have kept in touch in some form or fashion through all that has happened since then. I was nowhere near finishing my degree back then!

I completely agree. I'm so glad that we are all still able to keep in touch. I felt like we went through so much. You all helped me get through some rough times (when DH's dad passed away, when we nearly lost my mom). I consider each of you to be my friends.

Sophia ~ So glad to hear that you are getting almost a full night of sleep again. I'm looking forward to that around here. I'm still amazed that you have 3 kids under 2! I pull my hair out sometimes with just 2. I don't know how you do it.

Let's plan a Disney World trip for all of us for April of 2012! C'mon, everyone start saving now. :D
Sounds good to me. I think we are going to go a little earlier than. I've wanted to go back since DH and I went in Aug. 2003. It had changed so much from when I was there in June 1986. I know that DD would love seeing all the characters. We'd actually thought about going this year but don't think that is going to happen. Maybe next year with BIL/SIL and their 3 kids.

Liz ~ We have not been in Altanta since 1986 but we were closer in 2003 than we are now. We were living in southern Mississippi then. Oh how I miss waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning. I want to go back down there very soon. I want to see what has changed since Katrina has come through. I know where we used to live was heavily damaged during the storm when it came ashore in Biloxi. We'd also like to see some of friends from there again.

not to mention, the fact that WC crashed admist all of us delivering our babies
I remember that all too well. I came home to find out that it had been changed WAY too much and nothing was the same. I found the link to this site soon after. I'm greatful that Katy set this site up. I'd be lost without all of you all.

OK, OK, i cant hold it in anymore
Just droppping by to share that i got my BFP on wednesday after being in denial about the possiblility that i could be preggers. DH and i are so excited but were a bit shocked to say the least b/c we only BD once that cycle (just before leaving for a superbowl party...does this mean we have to name the little one "indianapolis"? JK.. Anyway. i've posted already in the TTC threads and didn't want to snub you guys...we haven't told anyone. I think that when you dont tell, its like it isn't real..weird. anyway, my parents are comimg tonight and we are putting one of those cheesy big brother t-shirts on Ben. We'll let them figure it out! While i did want to do that m&m idea that was mentioned.by ferris which i love and totally scouted out the website..we may just bring some to easter brunch and tell DH's family then (grandparents, cousins..etc). there is like a two week wait to get those andi cant wait that long to tell my parents!!

Congrats, Mrs. Chappy! When is your little one due - Oct, Nov?

It does seems so long ago that we were all dealing with newborn feeding schedules (or lack therefore of) and umbilical cord stumps and jaundice. It's so hard to believe our Junebugs will be celebrating their 2nd birthdays this spring! Doesn't it seem like the second year flew by even faster than the first?? It has been so nice to have an online support and advice group to share good times and bad.

Oh my goodness!! Congratulations, Mrs Chappy!! Wishing you a happy & healthy nine months!

Wow...of the 27 of us, there are now 10 RO's. :eek:

Maggie,
I agree that this year has gone faster than the first. It really feels like it was just a couple of months ago that we were all delivering our babies.

Congrats Mrs. Chappy!!!!!!!!!!!!! October 30th? You're having a little pumpkin! :p

Some advice to all who are considering getting pregnant again. Having a May/June baby is soooooooooooo nice ~wistfully~. We've got our second round of colds going through the house and the snotsucker.....uh, aspirator.......has been working overtime trying to keep two twelve week old noses mucus-free, as well as their 21 month old sister's nose which has been running like a faucet. Note to self: Despite sneaking in the nice tax deduction, May/June is still a much easier time to have a baby then December. Remember that for next time! ;)

I second a spring baby! I didn't think it'd be such a big deal, but man it is a nightmare. Collin has an EI w/ major snot and only wants me. Very difficult w/ an infant who needs to be held and fed! Let's just say I'm just about ready to check myself in to the Looney bin!:rolleyes:

Mrs.Chappy ~ Congratulations!! Welcome to the club!

Maggie ~ I'm still in denial that Sarah (along with the rest of the little ones) will be 2 in June. That just doesn't seem possible. Soon they'll all be in preschool then kindergarten then elementary then junior high and then high school. I'm actually still in denial that Alex is going to be 6 wks this Friday. :eek:

Sophia ~ I totally agree with you on a spring baby. We actually wanted that this time around (either April or May) but instead got what was suppose to be a February baby but turned out to be a January baby. I wouldn't be quite so worried about people touching A as I am now since it's cold and flu season. Plus it's not much fun to get all bundled up in zero degree weather with ice/snow and nice wind out to go to the store to get groceries.

Julie ~ Sorry to hear about Colin's ear infection. If another one hits in this house DH is definitely staying home again as there's no way I can deal with both kids since all Sarah wanted to do last time was be held. Last thing I need is Alex catching something as well. He's already got wheezes and snotty nose now.

ah...dont tell me that about the spring baby...that was our original plan...i figure it this way.. by spring, you will be getting your body back and the baby will actually enjoy being outside...though i totally agree about the germs and that stuff....since i married an accountant..glad this one will come before high tax time and after Oct deadlines..or lets hope!

Lol - I'm due 2 weeks into the 2nd fiscal quarter for DH's work, which is a pretty low-stress time of the year. His manager actually thanked him for his clever timeing :rolleyes: . The things we arrange around DH's work schedule.... ;)

Mrs.Chappy ~ That's true. I hope to have lost some more weight and gotten things firmer before summer gets here. Yeah, a spring baby being married to an accountant might not be a good thing.

kim ~ I was due at the beginning of February and we thought that was going to work out okay with DH's work. The end of the month is never a good time there as they are always running around finishing up last minute things and working tons of overtime the last week. Well, with Sarah things didn't go according to plan as she was born on the 28th and he took that day and the following day off (his supervisor was also gone that day because his wife was being induced that day - they took our spot when I went into labor the day before). He told his supervisor he'd go in the next day and work half a day since that's the day we were going home. Supervisor said that was fine since he wasn't going in unless it was absolutely necessary (his wife had ended up with an unplanned c/s as well).

This time had DS not come early it would have been a lot of fun at DH's work again. I was sort of glad that I went into labor early (well, not really because I was worried something was going to be wrong with his lungs/breathing). As it turned out DH worked round the clock the day I was suppose to be having DS. They would have been up a creek if DH had actually had to be gone then.

I'm hoping that DH can take off work on Sarah's birthday this year as I'd planned to go to the zoo that day. However it's in the wait and see catergory right now and probably won't know until that week whether or not it's going to happen.

LOL, my DH and I are the other way around. We are planning for #2 around my work schedule. I am a teacher and I want have at least 6 months with baby before I go back to work part-time for the next school year!

If I didn't just have my period I would swear I was pregnant. I have been so tired lately and have been sleeping terrible!

jmvan74

planning: We didn't really have a good/bad time for TTC... we just figured no time was a good time to be sleep deprived, so it didn't matter much. Of course, DH changed jobs when I was 8 months pg and that was a hassle w/ insurance! hehe.

Collin has his third EI since January. We have to go see the ENT now. It's been really rough since he's being extra clingy and throwing tantrums at the drop of a hat. Fun times. Brady is doing well. He's up to 14lbs and he's so freaking long! Here's a few pics..

Ferris,
Blech for a doubly bad AF.

Julie,
That's Caroline's Lamb!!! I'm sure you've read in my journal how she sleeps witht he same lamb everynight. Well, that's him. You got him at Kohl's a long time ago, right? I've been trying to find another one since she loves it so much and I'm afraid of having something happening to it. If you just bought it recently, let me know. I have to find another!! Poor Collin! Hopefully the tubes will help. :-( The boys are adorable! Gah, Brady is the spitting image of his Mommy!!

jmvan74
03-07-2007, 11:19 AM
Liz: Sorry, I bought the lamb when I was pg w/ Collin. I actually have 2. One is still in Collin's room and the other now resides w/ Brady. :(

03-07-2007, 01:43 PM
Damn!

I know, Mom bought Caroline's when I was only about 12 weeks pregnant. I was hoping when I saw Brady's that they released them again for Easter or something.

Checking in!

Anyone dealing with head banging tantrums? Rhiley bangs her head on the kitchen or the hardwood, even when I know something is going to cause a tantrum and bring her to the family room where there is carpet she'll run back to the hard floors. I try to ignore it, but I'm worried she's going to get a brain injury.

Congrats Mrs. Chappy!! H&H 9 months.

I was so happy I had DD #2 in the summer because DH is a teacher. DD#1 was born right at the end of the school year and I just remember begging DH not to go to work and leave me alone....(okay so I had some slight adjustment issues :) )

LIZNKEITH
03-14-2007, 07:56 AM
Head banging
Only when my or DH's heads are involved. :rolleyes: And I'm more concerened with a brain injury on our part. That chick's head is as hard as a rock!

jmvan74
03-14-2007, 10:54 AM
Head banging: We have a head banger. Collin bangs his head on whatever he can when he's mad. He also bangs his head on his crib when he's putting himself to sleep. :rolleyes: Everything I've read says it's normal. As long as you keep an eye on her she should be fine. :)

hub1176
03-15-2007, 05:31 AM
Thanks! I hate it!! I try to redirect her before I know it's going to happen (what can I say the girl doesn't "transition" well) and sometimes it works.

Liz -Hehe! She accidentially gave me a headbut the other day and it hurt!!

tgr68
03-20-2007, 03:41 PM
Headbanging~DD hasn't done this yet, but MIL always tells me how DH did as a toddler all the time. She stopped it by getting on the floor with him and doing it with him in the midst of a tantrum. He got irritated with her and said "No mommy! Ouchie!" She said after that he stopped.

Blah. Not much going on here. It's been an awfully dreary, rainy, gray day. I'm ready for the sunshine to return.

this thread is slow moving. Just wanted to pop in from a boring work day. Happy to report Ben finally ditched the paci. actually i took it out of the crib and we never looked back. With a new baby coming i figure it was time to make small changes a little at a time.
next is a transition to a bed...maybe in august!

MrsChappy~Yay for ditching the paci! Good luck with prepping him for the move to his big boy bed! :D

Potty News! I posted this over in the Potty Learning thread earlier today: Yay!! I think things maybe starting to click! We moved DD to underwear about two weeks ago. The first two days it went really well. Then it was all downhill until a few days ago when we offered her M&Ms if she went on the toilet. She continued to ask for them, and every time we explained that she would have to potty on the toilet if she wanted them. Well, this morning, she looked at me and said "Poopy! 3M's." I grabbed her up out of her high chair and took her to the bathroom. Within seconds of sitting her there she peed! :D I was shocked because she usually sits there for several minutes even shen she does end up going. I praised her and got her the M&Ms (which she proudly ate while sitting on the toilet). Aftwards she said "Potty toilet. More M&Ms". :) Well, she just did it again!! I'm so proud of my big girl!! :D :D

Mrs.Chappy

TGR:: yay for potty learning..what a break through. we are just playng w/ the potty..i hear boys are slower in that realm

Ally...He wasn't napping wit the pacis and was so sleep deprived for a few days so finally on tues night after three days of not napping i knew he was so exhausted so i just took them out of the crib when he went in. No peep, nothing. We never looked back. Same thing happened w/ my friend. What a relief. Its one less thing to remember when we go to Disney next month with him.

hub1176

Mrs Chappy - that's great about the paci - I don't know how we are going to get DD to go without. She only uses it for sleeping but yesterday it fell out during her nap and she couldn't find it and woke up crying.

Tgr - Awesome about the potty. Rhiley hasn't seemed the least interested in using it as a potty. She like to take it apart and play with it though.

I do wonder, if I should gently nudge her in the pottly learning direction by using training pants instead of diapers? It seems she has no idea when she's going. I don't think she's ready for total potty learning but I do wonder if using absorbant diapers are part of the reason she doesn't "feel" wet.

She is too cute with the baby, today when Mia started to cry Rhiley ran over and rubbed her back and patted her head (very gently I might add)

jmvan74
03-24-2007, 04:35 PM
MrsChappy; What a great accomplishment for Ben to be rid of the paci! We have no plans until summer to start messing w/ that. LOL!

Naamah: I am truly impressed w/ Shylah's potty abilities. ;) When Collin goes in his diaper and I ask him if he pooped..he says"nope". hehe.

Hub: I can't believe Mia is nearly 7 months old already!

Nothing new to report here...dealing w/ toddler melt-downs and infant bottle woes.

Just got back from a 5 day trip for a wedding we were in. I am SO tired. The flight back with Douglas was fine, but the flight down was horrible. We were stuck in the airplane for 2 1/2 hours on the ground. He did pretty well with the actual flight, and slept for most of it.

I have been gone for awhile an was sure I would come back and see someone else pregnant!! But I guess not. I can't believe I only have 1 more cycle before we start TTC! But Douglas is ready. He finally is interested in our friends son, Lucas and talks about him. He also keeps saying baby and pointing to my tummy. It's so cute.

Tantrums Tantrums here too, but we ignore them and they usually only last 1 minute or so. We flew late at night, so he was woke up from his sleep and he had a few tantrums in the airport when he wanted to run off. I can only imagine all the germs he had on him from throwing himself on the floor. :p

I haven't updated in so long!

We sold our house, moved to an apartment with a 3 month lease and we're now looking for a house! :p Yes, we're on the run from the law apparently! jk DH got a new job so we put our house on the market, it sold quicker than we thought and he still has to finish out the school year at his current job, so we're in an apartment until the end of May. But the house hunt has started. We found one that we love!!!!!!! We're going to lease it and I'm praying that the owner picks us over the other couple that applied today!

In Addie news....she is so big and is talking so much! It is adorable if I do say so myself. She has adjusted pretty well to the new apartment and her room here is actually bigger that the one in our old house! :eek:

We're still trying to get pregnant. This month it's been a year since we stopped preventing. We've probably been trying for 9 months. I am expecting AF tonight or tomorrow. Man, I'd love to come in here and announce I'm the next RO!

Addie and I are heading to my parent's tomorrow for a little R&R.

hub ~ So nice to see you here!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alex is still wearing preemie things for the most part. I still can't believe he's not moved up at almost 10 wks old. I have a feeling I'm going to have a skinny tall guy on my hands. Sarah is also able to wear 12 month shorts now. I put a pair on her the other day just to see and they fit just fine. I couldn't believe it.
http://www.strangersgate.com/photos?l=%2F2007%2FPesach%202007%2FIMG_0192.JPG&op=large_thumb
This was also right before he suddenly came down with a stomach virus in the middle of the seder. He's better now, but the virus is now making the rounds of my family. At last count, I had it, DH had it, my mom had it, my dad had it, my grandfather had it, and my brother came down with it this morning. :o Seriously, no one had any idea he was sick before the seder.
Oh my goodness Sophia! That last picture is hilarious! :p Alexa is looking like such a big girl! I'm still in denial about our babies turning 2. :(
Of course, the tantrums make it all too real. ;)
We had that in our house this past week. Alexa threw up last Wednesday and then had diarrhea for three days afterwards. Her mood and her bowels are only now finally coming back to normal. Hubby got it Sunday, my mom on Monday and I got it Tuesday. It's AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! The full force of the symptoms is just for 24 hours but the nausea will linger for days afterwards. I really hope the babies have escaped it.
Dreshny-Asher is such a big boy and holy moly, he's a heartbreaker!
~~~~~~~~~~

Rhiley tried to climb out of her crib and fell yesterday during her nap. Luckily she was okay, but we've switched the crib to the toddler/day bed.

Anyone bring their toddler to the dentist yet? Even though our Ped doesn't think it's necessary this early, I still want to get her in.

Mrs. Chappy, I am so sorry. One of the worst things any woman can experience is looking at the ultrasound monitor with such high hopes and seeing no movement where your child's heartbeat should be. No one should have to go through that. I'm sorry that you did. My sincerest sympathies to you, DH and your entire family.

Toddler Bed-
Still haven't made the switch yet. I'm kind of procrastinating because (and I know this is a bad excuse because it's got to start sometime) she hasn't attempted to climb out yet. I know once I switch her to her toddler bed, she'll be all over her room. I remember my parents put one of those doorknob covers on the inside of my nephews bedroom door so at least if he got out of bed he couldn't leave the room.

sophiapb probably not practical but could you get a basic(ie: cheapo) crib for the baby? We had to switch Rhiley last week and I haven't slept since! :)

So Rhiley was up again until 10:00 walking around her room, using her pillow to reach the light switch and turn it on and off, taking clothes out of her dresser and piling them on her bed and generally jumping around.
She then sleeps in until 8:00am because she's spent:rolleyes:

Mia has perfected the art of pulling up, but not getting down, so any moment I have that Rhiley is not swinging from the ceilings it's spent gently getting Mia down from the couch, chair, bookcase etc.

Someone's up!

We've had DS in a big boy bed for about a month now. We did a trial run by putting his crib mattress on the floor before we dissasembled the crib. Our case is likely a little different than most of you though...DS doesn't go to sleep on his own. The move to the big boy bed was actually so we could move in that direction (we now just lay next to him instead of rocking or nursing him to sleep and the twin bed is much more comfortable for that). DS does get up and come find us in the morning (and occassionally when he wakes up in the middle of the night if he hears us make too much noise). We haven't had any problems with him waking in the middle of the night to play. Each kid is different though.

Toddler Bed - We reluctantly had to make the switch as most of you know cause of the broken arm thing, and really, we had to suffer about a week of laying in bed with him until he fell asleep. Luckily it was only about a week. We gradually then started to leave him just before he fell asleep and then quickly made it to just a short "good night" and tucking him in. The signal for bedtime is closing the door and saying good-night. (He can't open the doors just yet.) Sometimes he does get up and "play" in his room for a few minutes or even up to a half hour then goes to sleep in his bed. I feel like it's sleep training all over again at times. Whenever there is something that takes us out of the norm like when DS is sick or bad sleep pattern, we have him in our bed and then have to transition all over again.

Oh, and so the other day, after we got the crib all set up again on the highest setting for the mattress and all washed up, cleaned up for the new baby, DS decided he wanted to play in it after my sister and I made the mistake of letting him sit in it for a few minutes while we rearranged and organized the room, so, the next day, HE CLIMBED UP AND INTO THE CRIB!!!! (The rail was up...) Ok, it's bad enough that he climbed out and broke his arm, but now I have to worry about him climbing IN and then falling OUT!!! OMG, it's insanity. So, we never did get a crib tent cause he never slept in the crib again after the fall, but now we have to so we can keep him out!!! Oh the joys, eh?

Well ladies, I have just barely 2 days to go before my c/s. DD will be here on Tuesday morning the 24th. C/S is scheduled at 7:30am. Please think good thoughts for me and her. I'll probably check in a few weeks after we've settled in a bit at home! I'll tell ya, I was worried she was gonna come on her own early, but it doesn't seem to want to happen. I'm just glad she didn't come on any "choice" days in April. That is/was a tough month for a birthday - I didn't want her born on April 1st (april fools day), Friday the 13th, Tax Day (15th), and then another bad date that I won't go into. Well, we made it through all of them! :)

No plans thus far. She isn't a climber, and our crib doesn't convert. I've shopped around online so I know what I want to order, but am trying to hold off. I guess we'd store her old crib in the attic, but I don't know.

toddler bed We made the switch in January and although we had a few rough weeks, I'm happy to report that Addie is doing really well it in now! She rarely gets out of bed now (and all her toys are moved out of her room anyway so she doesn't have anything to play with). She falls asleep quickly at nap and bedtime! Yeah! So, for all of you going through this now or soon----there is sleep in your future and the pain is only temporary! :p

My morning/all day sickness has kicked in and I'm in "barely surviving mode". The house is a mess, dishes in the sink from 3 days ago, I haven't cooked in over a week, etc. My biggest issue is trying to keep Addie fed and happy when I can't stand to look at food! kim and other RO how did you handle meals for your little ones when you were so sick?

toddler bed-I bought some time by putting Corinne and Elise together in the same crib. I had them seperated because Corinne will wake up several times during the night and cry out before finding her thumb and going back to sleep. She was waking up Elise so I seperated them. This weekend we went away and I had the two of them in the same PnP. Even though Corinne did her usual crying out, Elise slept through it! We just got home a few hours ago and I put them both to sleep in Elise's crib and so far so good. I'll only get another couple of months before they are too big to be in the same crib but I'm hoping Alexa will mature a bit by then and there will be an easy transition to the toddler bed. Any chance? ;)

Nat-I did a lot of sandwiches with Alexa during my nauseated times. Also, yogurt, canned fruit and canned veggies. Pretty much anything that I didn't have to prepare or even heat up.

golfer-Waiting to hear some fantastic news from you within the next couple of days. So excited for you!

My baby has arrived (a little early)!

Today was supposed to be the day but DD decided she wanted to arrive early! Sunday the 22nd, DD decided to poke a hole through the bag. I started leaking amniotic fluid in the afternoon about 2:00pm - luckily just a few hours after my mom arrived to help for the next few days with DS. I called my DH who was out running last minute errands in which he raced home. We finished some last minute cleaning up of the guest room and waited for another gush - in which that happened - and saw a little of my mucus plug too that time. I then called my doc (who was on call this weekend) and he said to come on it to get tested that it was for sure amniotic fluid. With my first, I knew 100% sure I was leaking amniotic, but this time around, I was only about 80% sure. But, I anticipated that we weren't going to come home from the hospital. So, at 4:00pm I kissed my DS goodbye while he was down for his nap, said bye to my mom and off to the hospital DH and I went.

My doc did the test, and yep, this was it. Time for surgery! Well, after just a few short hours after arriving to the hospital, DD was born at 7:47pm.

Please welcome my DD, Emerson :) 8lbs, 3oz and 19" long with dark wavy hair!

She's just so sweet and is very alert at times. It's kinda crazy it all happened (almost on schedule), but timing wise, worked out great for the whole family! And with all those dates I didn't want her born, she ended up arriving on a very friendly Earth Day!!! :)

Ha - microwave Gerber meals, I'd have Tom make extras at dinner for me to warm up & serve for lunch the next day, if I had a window of time i felt 'decent' i'd make & refrigerate something, perdue ready strips, kraft ez mac, pasta......nothing from scratch, lots of carbs. Because I know all of our kids are getting to be quite the characters, anyone want to share a funny story of what their kiddos have been up to? I love reading these :)

Here is mine:
The other day I was in the back of the house and I heard Dean run, stop, run, stop, over and over again. I went to see what he was doing, and this is what I found:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/190/476175694_724fb9b567.jpg?v=0

He was getting potatoes from the kitchen and lining them up on the love seat. When he was finished, he took them one by one, and put them back. He lines up his cars all day, every day, but potatoes? I totally didn't expect that :)

Megande Cute

Funny Story I was looking at a people magazine and came across a page with pictures of "dancing with the stars" stars on them. It was a picture of Joey Fatone similar to this one... (it won't let me post the actual pic)

http://www.tv.com/photos/viewer.html?type=21&ref_id=41902&ref_type_id=104&pic_number=93422

Douglas started pointing at the Picturing yelling "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" He then pointed at the picture of the girl and said "No, mommy. No, me mommy!"

Here is an actually picture of my DH (and a horrible one of me...I hated my hair), the only thing similar is the facial hair.

http://www.dropshots.com/photos/78860/20070324/170212.jpg

To my husbands horror I have shown the picture of Joey Fatone to Douglas whenever people have come over. They all think it's so funny, but DH is growing tired of it. I so need to get it on video and just haven't done it yet. I'll try and do it tomorrow and post it.

Golfer, what a beautiful little girl! Such a peaches and cream complexion. I also love her name BTW.

Diane,
She's beautiful!! I see a strong resemblence to Ethan.

Megan,
LOL...how random. The things that interest our kiddos.

Ferris,
That is hilarious!! Does DH often dance around the house in his leisure suit Saturday Night Fever style?

Funny Story
I don't know why, but Caroline will often say "Daddy" to very large men of African-American descent. Fortunately, everyone always finds it funny and laughs. It's pretty embarrassing though. I usually make a point to flaunt my wedding band for fear that bystanders misinterpret it for an innocent, fatherless child searching out a father figure.

I love the funny stories!!

Megande - I was just wondering if my son had OCD or was a little neurotic about his "lining up" of cars, trains, etc. He likes to put his sippy cup in the right spot on his high chair tray, etc. But, I'll have to say, the potatoes thing is very funny and relieving to me!!! Glad I'm not the only one.

Ferris - I showed my DH the picture and told him the story. He thought that was hilarious too. We love watching DWTS. :)

Liz - OK, my DH thought your story was the best. I told him your story as I was LMAO. That was just too funny.

Thanks for all the compliments. I just love having a little girl! It's funny, after having DS first, I didn't know if having a girl would be awkward. But, I'm quickly loving it! I love that she looks like a girl as a newborn. :D

Nat-So cute! I love that you caught it all with the camera. I have to watch Alexa to make sure that she doesn't give her dolls and stuffed animals the babies' bottles. I just know that all of her toys will smell like sour milk very soon!

Funny story-This just happened today and I remember thinking "I've got to tell someone this!". Alexa got a kitchen set complete with fridge, oven and microwave. She has an absolute blast with it and will make "zoup", "cokies" and other culinary delights and proudly serve them. This afternoon, Alexa and I came in from grocery shopping. I brought in all the bags of refrigerated and frozen items and dumped them down on the kitchen floor and started to quickly unload while calming down babies and talking to my mom about various things. I finally got things settled in and we left to go to a playdate. Four hours later, we come home and I sit down to feed a baby. Alexa starts puttering around her kitchen and in the process of making a pretend meal, she pulls a bag of frozen vegetables from her toy fridge. :eek: The little dickens had swiped the veggies from my grocery bag and put them in her kitchen. They were still cold but totally defrosted. I was just sort of dumbfounded and didn't know what to say to her. I guess we're having organic mixed vegetables for dinner tomorrow and I need to keep on eye on what she stashes in her fridge from now on! :p

LOL Nat and Sophia!!

So I tried to get the video, but this time he told me that I was the lady, which is a compliment!

He is saying "daddy dancing" and at the end Douglas started dancing and said "like that"

LOL! Love all of the stories!

Liz: That is too much. Collin's ped is a tall African American woman and whenever he sees a tall AA woman in a store he cries! LOL!

Funny story: I just posted this in LJ, but it had me laughing so hard. A conversation between Collin and I:
me: Did you have breakfast yet?
C: Nope, not yet.
Me: What would you like for breakfast?
C: COOKIES!!!
Me: LOL! How about french toast?
C: okay

These kids are too much. So much fun these days. :D

hey guys,
haven't posted so much..we are getting on since the m/c. Actually, off to Disney World tomorrow w/ DH and DS. DH and I will be going to Aruba for our 5 year anniv in august. I can really use some time just sitting on the beach doing nothing. Seems in our grief we are spending spending spending!!! Anyway, things are moving along, thanks for the support.

FUNNY STORY: i'll play too i guess (but you totally had to be there)
Last night we were picking daddy up from the train station. Ben was in his car seat. We pulled into the garage and DH got out of the car to get ben;
Me:Ben give daddy a kiss hello
Ben:(actually kisses daddy then says) I don't like it
(that's his newest expression). Poor DH..

These stories are cracking me up! This can be such a fun(ny) age! :D

Okay, here's one for you. The other night DD and I were over at my best friend's house (the one whose son DD is going to marry :p). Well, BF's DH comes in and starts wrestling with all three kids. Well, her DH was telling us how the other night in order to free his sister, their DS hit him where in counts. Not two minutes later DD attempts her own rescue mission to free their DD, and as she is running across the room, she trips slamming her head full speed directly into BF's DH's crotch! :eek: BF and I were laughing so hard! Aaaah! The power of suggestion! :p

Mrs.Chappy~Have a wonderful trip to Disney!

Julie~OMGosh! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a DC frightened of AA women. A lady we go to church with is from Nigeria and has two adorable boys. Well, DD plays fine with her sons, but the second she walk into the church nursery to pick them up, DD is scrambling up into my lap saying "keep safe" and "I shy". :o

Ferris~Adorable video! BTW, you are quite the looker, but shame on you for not telling us about your appearance in People Mag. ;)

Nat~So cute! Shylah has a Stitch that's about the same size she is that she insists on taking everywhere with us.

Yay! Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Natalie-Addie is SOOO sweet taking care of that dog! She is going to be such a great big sis! As far as moving, DH isn't done with his PhD yet, so we are going to stay here for a year and then move after he is done. I'm so excited because I will get to be a full time SAHM for a year!

Sophia-Ha! Yeah, those are the things you can't really say anything about, because after all, she was helping you put things away!

Ferris-Too cute! You and your husband have some taste in clothes ;) :p

Julie-Mean mommy who doesn't serve cookies for breakfast!! I guess thats what we get when we ask toddlers for their opinions on things! :p

Mrs. Chappy- That is funny!! Did your DH think it was funny, or did it hurt his feelings?

Naamah- He better watch what other stories he tells around your DD ;)

I'm lovin' all these stories. What a bunch of hams.

I've got another one that happened this afternoon. As I'm leaving daycare and waiting for a break in traffic so I can pull out of the parking lot, Caroline starts screaming "Move, Car! Move, Car! Move, Car!" I laughed and asked her "Where did you learn that from? Who says that?" Her response....
"Daddy!" :rolleyes:

I am laughing at those stories! I love them!!!

Parker has some of the Dora DVDs. She is scared of the crocodile in one of the videos. She runs to me and holds me right before it appears (she knows when it is going to appear) and says "Noooooooo" It's hard not to snicker.

LOL, December! Caroline is the same way with Cookie Monster. Everytime he comes on the screen she'll run out of the run crying & tugs on my shirt until I fast forward past his segment (we usually watched them on Tivo). I don't understand it. She loves cookies as much as he does. You'd think they'd have a lot in common. :confused:

Alexa does a Cookie Monster impression. She puts her hands to her mouth like she's holding cookies and says "UmmmNummmNummmNummmNummm" in a growly voice. DH and I almost burst out laughing the first time she did it. :D

I'll play...

Asher is really, really into all musical instruments, but especially into guitars.

On Monday nights, I rehearse with a chorus, and I take Asher downtown to the beginning of the rehearsal with me, and then DH picks him up and takes him home or out to dinner. Usually, we rehearse in an Episcopal church that's pretty plain inside, but tonight we had a one-time rehearsal in the sanctuary of a very old, very ornate Roman Catholic church. The room was full of religious statues, and a big crucifix hung over the altar. Asher, being Jewish, has never seen religious statues before.

So in this particular crucifix, Jesus had a gigantic halo that encircled both his head and the crosspiece on the cross (two big circles, one inside the other--you see where I'm going with this?)

And when Asher finally noticed it (remember, there were A LOT of other statues), he pointed and said "Man on a guitar!"

Oh, boy! We had another good one occur just yesterday! :rolleyes:

DH has resorted to showing DD what's inside her tissue after she blows her nose to get her to cooperate with the whole nose-blowing thing. :rolleyes: Well, this past week she has been fighting allergies really bad, and this morning is really fluctuating between clogging nose and leaky faucet. I happened to catch her at more of a "clogged nose" time with a tissue. She demanded to see inside the tissue, and when nothing was there she yelled at me "where are the boogers?" :p

Love it Mrs. Chappy! Did you find Disney manageable with a toddler? I would love to go sometime soon but am so afraid that we'll end up spending thousands of dollars to sit in a hotel room with an overtired and cranky toddler.

Sophiab: i totally rec disney for any age. we had no problem there. I even saw toddlers and newborns (same family) and no one was stressed. i mean, how could you be, its Disneyworld. We had a suite at our hotel so at night we closed the door and had alone time (ben was exhausted from all day - no nap either). So he was passed out before 9 and we had 'us' time. I honestly can't imagine NOT having a suite for a vacation like this. Thank goodness for starwood hotel points!!

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I was able to get time to drop by. I hope everyone is doing good. Our little ones are soon going to be turning two! :eek:

Do you all think we should get a new group avatar to make their 2 year birthdays?

Mothers Day ~ While I would have loved a relaxing day, I didn't get that. I even had to ask to get a card. It actually not entirely DH's fault. We found out on Saturday that we had a new family member.

Here's our new little guy. As DD calls him (and the rest of our horses), here's our new horsey.

Sophia ~ We plan on going to Disney World next summer. We have a few issues in planning that makes it interesting (never know when something will be planned for in the summer...oh so much fun). I know that DD would have a blast with all the characters. The only thing I'm thinking about is that we won't be able to go on the rides we want to because DD won't be tall enough/old enough. Plus there is DS as well. But I also want to take my mom because she hasn't been back since we went 21 years ago (DH and I went in 2003). I think DD will be worn out by the time evening comes. We plan to stay on the Disney grounds in a military only hotel. Being able to ride the monorail/bus/tram/ferry system is going to be so good with the kids.

Happy Late Mother's Day, Everyone!! We were out of town, so celebrated a bit early. Keith got me two new Cracker Barrell Rocking Chairs for our front porch that I've been lusting after. Caroline made me two gifts at school: 1 was a little book telling me what a great Mom I am and has a picture of the two of us that was takien on a camping trip recently and the second was a "vase of flowers" which was really a finger painted cut out of a vase, stems, and 3 "flowers" (her handprints). I cried when dc gave them to me last week. Definitely going in the keepsake box.

Since we were out of town on Sunday, we celebrated by going to the Portland Zoo and then BIL and his GF made us a special dinner/dessert.

But Sunday morning I got the biggest Mother's Day gift of all....
I'm Pregnant!! I'm still in complete shock over it. It was our first month trying!! EDD is Jaunary 25th, 2008. :)

Nat ~ Sorry about the HG diagnosis. It's not much fun (I was diagnosed borderline/probably HG with DD and I got the full diagnosis with DS). They only told us after DD's birth that was it (I'd decided before that it was the problem. They determined it with how sick I was during labor and that the meds they tried didn't work. Hence the reason I made certain that I got what worked when DS was born. Although it didn't really work this time.) There's a thread in pregnancy regarding HG.

Thanks. We should be having another one any day now.

Liz ~ Thank you. It's so much fun having a new little one around again (this is our first foal).

Congratulations on the new litle one!!!!!!! January is a wonderful time for a little baby (I should know my b-day is the same as DS'). What a wonderful Mother's Day present!!

Me too! I got a faint BFP yesterday. Liz and I are both due the same day (according to o'ing) and it was our first offical month TTC too! Crazy! I am already having spells of nausea. Not good! What made me think I was pregnant was that I wasn't as bitchy to my class, and when we had lunch in our room the smell of mayo on the hamburgers overwhelmed me!! :)

Nat Sorry to hear about the diagnosis! Is it supposed to go away or does it last the entire pregnancy?

So many RO's here!
Liz - We've been trying very hard to just get the camera out and get the girls whenever - but DH made sure it was all set up so I could eat my pancake breakfast and watch it.
I am hoping for a new camera as ours is old and huge. I'm thinking if we had a newer smaller one it might be more convienent.
Rhiley has now entered the picky eating phase. Things she has always loved she now delcares "No like it", or "No want it" she still eats like a horse though so no worries.

Hub1176 Thanks! Douglas does the same thing with "no like it" after he has had 4 or 5 bites! :rolleyes:

Right or Left Douglas still hasn't really shown which handed he is going to be and I was wondering if anyone's little one is already showing their handedness (is that a word).

Party Douglas' party is tomorrow. I can't believe that it will be 2 years ago tomorrow that my water broke.

Lies! I had to lie to my good friend today. She was asking about if we were going to start trying soon (we told everyone that we were going to start TTC when Douglas was 2) and I told her no. I guess I wasn't lying we don't need to start trying!! :p

Julie ~ I was thinking that you were due on the 25th but then I wasn't sure. Our little ones will be turning a year old just as we get to welcome 2 new little ones into the group!

Right or Left ~ DD has shown interest in her left hand. It's been pretty regular for the past 6 months. Every now and then she'll use her right hand but her left seems to be the dominant one. We shall see if that holds out to be the case.

Ferris ~ You didn't lie. You don't need to try as the little one is already baking. ;)

Eating ~ DD won't even try things sometimes. She'll say no! and shake her head when we try to get her to eat something. It's so frustrating sometimes. Even chicken is hit or miss these days and it used to be something she'd eat all the time before.

I had a miscarriage on monday, which happened to be Douglas' 2nd b-day. I am doing good, but just worried it will take us awhile to get pregnant again.

I made Douglas' b-day cake and it came out pretty good. I didn't add the correct "95" on the side, but there was no way I could have made it right.

Ferris ~ I'm so sorry about the miscarriage. I've been through one myself. The ladies over in the miscarriage support thread are wonderful (which reminds me that I need to stop by very soon). The pictures of Dougie's 2nd birthday are wonderful. Wonderful job on the cake!!

Also, I didn't realize that we had two different dates listed for his birthday. How that happened I don't know (and thank you, Julie for posting because I probably wouldn't have noticed it until I or Naamah were starting a new thread). Please accept my apology for the mistake. I corrected it in each of the other threads.

Horse update ~ Momma is doing better, it's just going to take some time. Little guy is starting to eat grain and hay. And our other mare had her little one early, early Friday morning. They arrived almost exactly 2 weeks apart (if our first mare would have had her's earlier on 11th they would have been exactly 2 wks apart). So now we have 2 little boys. He looks exactly like his momma though he does have some of the markings of his daddy. First little baby is the exact clone of his momma except he's got more brown (momma has more white on her).

Well, I better head to bed and get some much needed sleep since the rest of the house is asleep.

Man, you have one busy household, lol! Congrats again!

Two
Tom & I are freaking out. We can't belive that 2 years ago this week we were awaiting our little boy, and now we have TWO kids! Nuts!

We will be celebrating quite a bit, which is the way I think it should be ;) . We have bday parties galore! On the 1st is a family party for a cousin, then the 2nd is Asher's party, then on his bday the 3rd is Jessica's party...we have aplaygroup at my place on the following Friday (hmm maybe a cupcake or two will be served??) and then Thomas' party will be here on the 10th. WHEW! That's a lotta partying! :cool:

Messy
I'm sure this is a STUPID question....but is your kid getting messier with the toys? T used to just be normal-kid-messy, but now he immediately takes EVERY toy out of each bin as soon as he gets up in the morning. then He will toss the blocks/Legos/small toys around like confetti in the air yelling and laughing. Every. Single. Day. Its like a Toy Tsunami in here.

Well, I'm going to take it easy this afternoon. I'm rather tired after TWO very busy weeks and dealing with a toddler getting FOUR teeth in at once. :( I desperately need to get the house picked back up, but it's going to have to wait until after a movie and some popcorn! :D

Man, you have one busy household, lol! Congrats again!
Yes, we are busy around here though this is the last baby for a little while. We sold one horse (the daddy) this week. He was the horse we originally bought for DD to ride. He was born on the 4th of July in 2004 so I was sad to see him leave. But we can go visit him anytime so that's good. Thanks.

Thanks for posting her length. I knew I'd seen it but wasn't sure and at midnight I didn't want to go searching through threads/posts.

Two
Tom & I are freaking out. We can't belive that 2 years ago this week we were awaiting our little boy, and now we have TWO kids! Nuts!
Yes, I'm the same way. I can't believe that nearly two years ago I was 36 wks pregnant and anxiously awaiting her arrival. And we now have two kids as well. I'm in amazement that Sarah will be two in a month (tomorrow). It just doesn't seem possible. But I can't believe Alex is 4 months already either. Time just goes by too quickly!!

Meri~Thank you for doing updates. I knew it had been a while and thought that I should get on it! ;) Congrats on your second foal!! I'm gald the mare is doing better.
Your welcome. I knew there had been some that needed updating but somedays I'm lucky to get to answer/send emails. Thank you.

Sounds like you are in need of a relaxing day. I remember when Sarah got all four i-teeth (or however it's spelled) in about a two week span. I thought I was going to pull my hair out. I'm so glad it's done and over with. She was laughing the other day and I got a glimpse of her teeth and I think she's got all of them (that she's suppose) for now. How many molars are they suppose to have now? Though they never gave her much trouble when the first set came through.

Messy with toys ~ DD loves to bring several toy sets (little people) out to the living room and everything that goes along with them. Then she'll get something else which is usually the mega block set and proceed to dump them all over the floor. Then she'll sit down and start building something. Then when decides that's boring she'll pick them back up and put them in the container only to turn it upside and have them all fall out. Must be fun as she can do that for a while. Or throw them like they are confetti (which I don't really like but haven't found a productive way of stopping it yet).

New Avatar ~ I'll contact the graphics lady and see what ideas she can come up with.

Messy with toys Douglas can be messy, but we have trained him(that doesn't sound good) to but away toys to then take other toys. For example, he can't take out his train set until the blocks are picked up. We make a game out of cleaning up and we race to pick it up as fast as we can. Sometimes I get lazy and don't have him do it and the room is a disaster, but normally it's not to bad.

Alone Douglas is spending the night at my FIL and MIL's house tonight! I miss him and worry about him! It also gives me lot of time to think, so I had to go shopping to keep my mind off of things. :rolleyes:

When are you guys going to have another one? That's what like 6 people have asked us in the last 2 days! Ughh! Frustrating, and I just tell them soon.

Meri: Thanks for the updates. :) I think a new avatar would be great. Congrats on the newest foal! My SIL/BIL have horses and I always love when we get to see the newbies. ;)

two: Yeah... I still can't believe it. My little boy is getting so big. Like Meri, I also can't believe the my second baby is 4 months old. Crazy how time flies.

Messy: Oh yes! My kid is a notorious "dumper". He absolutely loves to dump everything out and run around kicking up the toys and laughing. I have been working on one thing out, one thing away, but... well, we have good days and bad.

Forgot to put this when I joined:
Rhiley's BW 7 lbs 8 oz, lngth 19 inches 11:03am

Happy Birthday Alexa

Ferris - that has to be so difficult. I remember when we were ttc for nearly 2years and people kept asking us when we were going to have a baby - it was so frustrating.

Mess - Anytime a toy or book is out Rhiley proudly announces "Mess!" She also points at people and does this....:rolleyes: It really depends on if she's playing with the toys or just dumping them to dump them. If she's playing I let her play and we clean up later. If they are just dumping to make a mess I insist we clean before moving on.

We started doing the Gerber Puffs with Mia and Rhiley keeps stealing them. I've tried giving her some so she'll leaves Mia's alone but no go. Mia had her WBV yesterday and since DH works next door the the ped's office he met us there and played with Rhiley in the waiting room. Bruce said that when Rhiley heard Mia cry she kept saying "Mia hurt" She quickly got over it since they have an awesome play kitchen in the waiting room and there were other kids to show off for:rolleyes:

Rhiley turns 2 on Friday!! We are having a small friends party for her Friday night, and will have a family party on the 10th. She sings Happy Birthday to everyone else but never herself. I can only imagine her reaction when everyone is singing to her:)

Ferris,
That sucks. :( I know people don't mean any harm in asking, but you never know what someone is dealing with so it's just best not to even ask, ya know?

Happy Birthday, Alexa!! Thinking of you and your little guardian angel.

Messy,
Yes, Lord help me. It's a jovial conversation in our household "How many times did you pick up the crayons today?" In all seriousness, it's about 10 times a day. Seems as soon as we get them back in the box she's dumping them out again. And it's not just the crayons...

Meri,
Thanks for doing the updates! I think a new avatar sounds like a great idea.

Kate,
How cute that she could recognize Mia's cry. Sounds like Mia's got a protective big sister on her hands. :)

Ferris: two weeks after my D&C a realtor friend of ours (my parents age) called and the first thing out was 'are you pregnant yet'? I immediately reponded and said i had a miscarriage...

i swear, there was dead silence on the other end of the line. I, as respectfully as possible' put her in her place and told her not to ask anyone that question b/c you never knw what the response will be. I can't stand when people ask...sometimes i just want to be frank w/ them like i was on the phone...other times i say that i'm happy with having Ben, thank you...and move one...obviously the ones who ask have never been though a such a loss.

Hi all. Thanks for the birthday best wishes for Alexa and Alexander. We did have a fun celebration for her and it was a nice day overall. We had a small party just for family although I discovered that just as much work goes into a small gathering as a large gathering!

I'm sorry Ferris and Mrs. Chappy for rude and insensitive people on top of the grief you've already gone through. Sometimes people just don't think but that doesn't make the hurt any easier. :(

Sophia: All three of your girls are gorgeous, but especially your birthday girl! Happy birthday, sweet Alexa!

Today was Asher's birthday, but we celebrated with a big family party at my parents' last weekend. His local friend party will be on Saturday in the park...that is, if it doesn't get rained out. :rolleyes: If so, we'll be moving half our furniture upstairs to our friend's apartment to accommodate Asher's friends and their parents. Yeah, our apartment is small.

I posted some pictures in the May/June thread, for those of you that only check this one. ;)

Awwww...thanks for sharing! Alexa really seems to be enjoying that cake. The girls are growing up so much! I have to say, Alexa has always been your little clone, but Corrinne and Elise definitely take after their Daddy!

Happy Birthday, Rhiley!!

Dreshny Happy birthday to Asher!! Hope you had a great day!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Rhiley. I can not belive I have a 2 year old. Especially since there was a time we didn't think we would have children at all. We are having a small friends part tonight and a family party next week (after we hopefully get our swingset, but that's another story!)

Better run kiddos are up!

Happy Belated Birthday, Rhiley!!

Ferris & Mrs.Chappy ~ Sorry for the rude comments. I seriously think that sometimes people just don't think before they say something.

Julie ~ Thanks. DD is absolutely head over heals for the babies. She now goes around the house saying "baby orsies." It so cute. Yes, doesn't time just fly? I wish it would slow down just a little. Although with him still on the small size it doesn't seem like he's 4 months old. You should people's faces when we tell them he's 4 months. They don't believe it due to his size. I probably wouldn't either if he wasn't ours.

hub ~ I'll add those stats for Rhiley.

Liz ~ Thanks.

Sophia ~ Wonderful pictures!! The girls have gotten so big! S is very interested in ice cream as well. We took some pics on Mother's Day and she was watching the new Charlotte's Web. She wouldn't even look up in the pictures for watching the movie.

Dreshny ~ I'll stop by the MayJune thread to see the pictures (I'm so far behind there...I keep hoping one day I'll be able to keep up and not be behind all the time. A girl can hope right?)

Avatar update ~ Tara is going to make us one. She said it would be a few days but when I hear from her I'll post it so everyone can see it.

DD's 2nd Birthday party ~ I think we've finally decided on what theme it will. I showed her two designs in the book and she was more excited about the horses (mare and foal) than ariel....so I think we'll go the horse theme. I think we'll use pictures of our own horses for decorations and the invites. Now I just need to see if I can find a horse cake pan. I know it will get lots of use over the years so it will be a good investment.

Happy Birthday, Thomas!

Naamah ~ Thanks. I was going to look this weekend but with the wreck those plans changed.

hub ~ Glad the party was good. I hope next party goes just as good. Mia's 1st will be coming up before you know it. It's wild how quickly time goes.

Wreck/Accident ~ We had a wreck (hit a deer) this weekend. For the most part we are injury free. DH has burns/scrapes from when the air bag deployed, I hit my head on something so it has a knot and is bruised, and my arm is in a brace. I guess I didn't get the burns from the air bag since my seat was just a bit further back from DH's and I had it reclined just a bit. The kids were both asleep when it happened but took a while to calm down after it happened. They think the SUV is totaled so are waiting to hear from the insurance company. We are thankful that we weren't hurt worse, that there wasn't another car involved, or didn't lose control after hitting the deer. Things definitely could have been worse since we were on the highway and going about 70 when it happened.

DD has become attached to DH. She won't let him out of her sight. After we got home she wouldn't him be in another room and wanted to be held.

BTW... How are your parents doing?

jmvan..thanks for asking about my parents. They are doing well. My dad is almost done w/ rehab - before they cut him off...but he is able to drive and is resuming his life prior to the accident (even tried golfing). He will always have nerve damage in his arm but he'll take that over the alternative!! We are thankful everyday that they are alive..a reminder to always buckle up! i appreciate you asking. Between their car accident and our miscarriage, i am having a rough year.

Nat: If you're reading along... just wanted to let you know I've been thinking about you. Last we heard you were suffering from hypermesis, so I hope you are feeling okay. :(
