DD just tested positive for a slight soy allergy. We are using Milk based formula (sam's club brand). however, the ingredients list Vegetable oil (soybean is one of the possible oils). I looked at enfamil (all kinds including Nutramigen), Similac (even the organic kind) and basically all other brands on the shelf at BRU and they ALL have soybean oil in them!!

Does anyone know of a MILK based formula that does NOT have soy in it??

A friend told me there is a prescription kind, but can't remember the name. I have a call into my ped, but figured I"d see if any of you ladies know.

TIA!

DS had a definite milk/soy intolerance. He was miserable when the ped told me to supplement with soy (more than once) and I didn't know any better. Once I started him on Similac Alimentum he was much better. I am guessing you already looked at their ingredients as well. It may not be a problem since the soy is really broken down by the time it reaches the oil form.
