Does anyone else have a problem filling out their bra? Even the smallest of sizes?
I wear about a 36A, depending on if I can find a bra that fits. Half the time, a 36A is too big on me, but who can find anything smaller? And yeah, I'm small-chested, but I'm really not that flat. Especially not now that I'm 28 weeks pregnant! My boobs have grown significantly, and I was shocked the other day when I was trying on bras and still couldn't fill out an A cup. What is the deal? I seriously thought I'd be able to wear a B.
Do I need to start buying AA's? Where the heck would I find them? And does anyone even make a 36AA? That sounds like a ridiculous size.
So if you're ridiculously flat-chested, what bra do you wear? And don't tell me Victoria's Secret because I'll know you're lying.

I was very small until I started taking BCP. I was like a 34A and now after beig on BCP for 9 months I grew into a 36C. But I used to find bras at Wal-Mart, but I agree I never could find any that would fit totally right. Also I was bigger on my left than the right so it made it that much more difficult. Not really any advice just thought I'd reply and say, I know how you feel! Good Luck!!!

I usually get the Playtex "Thank Goodness It Fits" line of bras. They make half-sizes! Woo Hoo! (Nearly A, Perfectly A, Nearly B, etc.) You might want to try them.

I buy from that Playtex line, too. I get Gilligan and O'Malley from Target because I like those, also. HAHAHAHA I would never in my life be able to step foot in VS....I don't thing a small chested girl can even attempt to claim that they shop there.

I hear Victoria's Secret does have some smaller sizes but you have to ask the salespeople to retrieve them for you... (good luck with that!) and they have two inches of bullet proof padding in them. With bras like that, who needs boobs! :D But I don't really know because I am not about to spend that kind of money on a bra.

I usually buy my bras at JC Penneys or Filenes. I'm not particularly loyal to a certain brand, I just go by color. :p But I always stick to bras that have the cup "formed" for lack of a better word. (What do they call that anyway??) I wear a 34B and find that they are very comfortable and give my girls a little lift as well. :)
I do the same as well, basicly went by color and then tried it on! I also get those same "cup" bras, not exactly push ups just the ones taht are molded I guess you could call it. They give just enough lift w/o making it look funny.

I buy my little 32B bras at Nordstrom. No real brand preference, but I do like the molded cups the best because they give me a nice shape without being padded and you cannot tell when I am cold. ;)

I like InSport sports bras (although they don't work under more open necklines. But it's more of a "uniboob" look.
I also like these stretchy microfiber sports-bra like thinees from an Israeli store called "Golf" (but I think Calvin Klein makes something similar).

I have this problem too. It's embarassing to go to the lingerie department and find nearly nothing that fits me among the sea of bras there. I always look for the Playtex Thank Goodness it Fits bras - the nearly A size. It's hit or miss, though. I can't always find them - or ones in this line I like.
I wear a lot of stretchy day bras or "bralettes' - kind of like this: http://www.garnethill.com/jump.jsp?itemID=8829&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C4477%2C7489%2C7145&iProductID=8829 Mine don't have the "puckering" in the center, though. They're very comfy, and since I don't need a ton of support, they're perfect.
I also recently discovered Jockey bras. They were having a promotion on their website awhile back where you could enter your size and register for a free bra. I did it, and promptly forgot about it. A few weeks ago, I received a beautiful package in the mail from them containing one of their bras. It is a size 36A and is underwire (which I hate) but it fits great! The little brochure included with the free bra shows that they have similar bras without the underwire. I will definitely look for them next time I need to go bra shopping.

I have the same problem and love Olga bras with molded cups. I get them at Dillard's or Parisians. I've found that the molded cups are great and fit perfectly. I feel your pain! It took me forever to find a bra that fit right.
I wear a 34A. My favorite is Maidenform style 7959. They have slightly molded cups, so they look nice under t-shirts and thin fitted sweaters. To be honest I am not sure that I 100% fill it out (I mean come on -- it's not like I am pilling out of it or anything!), but I feel good in them.
And, yes, I just discreetly removed my bra in my office so I could look at the tag. Must go put it back on now...
ETA -- I found my bra on Amazon. Apparently it's official name is the Maidenform "One Fabulous Fit" Underwire. Here's the http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002M0EKM/104-6874831-8872743?v=glance

I live in "bralettes." They are so comfortable and I never have a problem filling them out.
But, they do give you a uniboob, I suppose. So some people aren't crazy about 'em...

No Bras!!!
At home or on my free time, YES!
However I have schizophrenic breasts. Small in overall volume, but with well endowed nipples. As such, while there's not much jiggle, the headlights are on often and need to be reined in.
And, no, I can not believe I just wrote that...

Bwahahaha!!! Actually, I have that problem too. Bandaids are my best friend when I wear light colored tops. When I have dark tops on, I don't even care.

I also like the 'bralettes' but they don't give enough support, they don't look like 'regular' bras when they show thru your shirt, and they also tend to have a sheer quality, so when you wear a light colored shirt, you have show-thru.
I can only wear bralettes with loose fitting non-sheer tops like baggy t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.
My problem is finding a bra to wear with fitted and light colored tops.

I fill out the cups perfectly but I'm also a B cup. I'm sure they must make them in an A cup as well though.

OMG I have the same problem! I don't wear bras around the house or if I'm bumming around on the weekend, but I can't go without at work for nippage reasons. Hence the padded/molded cups -- unlined bras simply don't do the trick for me when it comes to covering up the nipples and giving a nice smooth line. As for filling out molded cups, I do have some bras that have stiff molded cups, and those do dent a little, which I don't like. My Maidenform One Perfect Fit underwires have relatively soft cups with very thin foam padding that doesn't really dent and holds up perfectly after dozens of washings (plus I pretty much fill out the A cups) -- maybe molded isn't the right term for them, but I love them.

Hee hee..you must be bigger than me then. I don't wear them for support...my little boobs honestly don't need any. I just wear them to tone down the nipplage. The ones I get aren't those silky sheer ones, though. Mine are more like the material in a sports bra - stretchy cotton jersey type stuff. And they have two layers of this material. I wear them with pretty much everything, even with white, fitted T-shirts. I don't care if a *little* nip bump shows through the shirt - we WERE born with them afterall. ;) I just don't like the nips to be totally obviously showing through the shirt.

Yes, but under a white work blouse, do they look like sport bras from the back? That's my thing: I want the bras to fit like bralettes or sport bras, look like a regular bra from the back, yet not be sheer.
With BCP (yasmin) I can now fill out my bra, but I used to be in your EXACT shoes! (36AA). Like some other posters, I was built with ferocious nipples that HAD to be well covered. I used to buy the VS padded bras because they at least gave me "shape" and kept the nipples in control.
However, I was told that Wacoal bras are good for the smaller figure. They were originally made for the Asian market which tends to be a little smaller. (I am just repeating what I have heard). I never tried them myself because I couldn't find any locally to try on. They have now branched into "supersizes" and have garnered the attention and praise of people like Oprah, so I don't know if they have remained true to their roots, but you may want to check them out.

If you drop down a band size you should be able to fill a cup more easily. Like a 34B cup is equivalent to a 36A cup more or less. I find that the higher up in band width i go, the less able i am to fill the cups even if i change them proportionally (like if a 34C fits me fine, i still have trouble filling a 36B).

Another vote for "no bra," but now that I'm in my mid-30s I'm noticing my 34Bs are beginning to...droop. There is nothing grosser than droopy SMALL boobs. So I am trying hard to be more diligent about bra wearing. Most of the time I wear a cami with a built-in bra shelf.

They DO look like a regular bra from the back. In fact they hook in back just like a regular bra. :) I just checked and I don't have one of those on right now (I wear sports bras sometimes too) but I will check the brand name when I get home. I got them at Walmart for about $5.00 apiece.

I *heart* these bras. I'm more like a 34A (sometimes 32A depending on company) and these fit perfectly. http://www.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/75730_Damask?wid=230&hei=230&op_sharpen=1 We have a Vanity Fair outlet near us, so I get them for cheap..normally they're like $28 at a department store, which IMO, is ridiculous for small boobs :( .
Not too much padding, so that it doesn't give that "indent" look some other ladies are talking about...I wear these everyday, and it almost feels like I'm wearing nothing at all! (okay, TMI)

Ok, I swear I'm not lying! ;) I wear (barely) a 34A. I used to wear Body by Victoria from VS and didn't fill out the cups that well. But they were comfortable and gave me a little lift (underwire) and padding without going overboard.
About a month ago, I went back to VS determined to find a new bra. Well...I discovered their "demi" collections. OMG, these are the best. Granted, demi is supposed to give you big cleavage spilling over the bra a la Tyra Banks or whatever, but on me a demi fits more like full coverage. It's pathetic, but whatever! There is just the right amount of padding and underwire to kind of push everything up and in and actually makes me look like i Have a chest. Even DH noticed. Two brands I've tried and bought one of each were Angels demi and Very Sexi demi. They're stain with a little lace. I really like them!

I really like Sweet Nothings (by Maidenform) that I buy at Walmart. I never thought I would wear underwires (I wear 34A), but these are comfy and stay in place. They have just enough padding to keep a nice shape, and have survived multiple washings in the machine.
I tried the Playtex half-sizes bra, but it got weird bumps in the cups that showed when I wore tighter shirts.

So, ladies...I need some support and I know you are out there! I have small breasts and I am the ONLY woman in my family to have small breasts (every other woman in my family has at least a C cup). I have been called every name you can think of and heard all the "flat cheast" jokes from people in my own family. As a result (well, among other things that have happened in my life) I am EXTREMELY insecure about my breasts.
So, I decided to make this thread because I want to find some confidence about my breasts some how. I am going to ask questions every day and have this place to vent. Feel free to vent here as well. Hopefully this will help me before I start putting away money for breast implants!
Here are the QOTD!
Question one Have you ever seriously contimplated getting breast implants? If so, why haven't you gotten them?
Question two Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"? Come on, all men like boobs, right??
Question three What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?

Mine are larger than normal right now because I'm nursing, and it's freaking me out. ;) I'm usually an A cup, but there have been times when I've even had trouble filling that up. I've also gained weight and gotten up to a B cup, but it's a small B because I'm very petite and have a small band size, which affects the actual size of the cup.
Question one Have you ever seriously contimplated getting breast implants? If so, why haven't you gotten them?
Never seriously. I did have times where I was self-conscious and did the chicken cutlet thing, or the water bra thing, but I'm glad I never got implants because I really don't think I'd like them, and I know DH wouldn't.
Question two Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"? Come on, all men like boobs, right??
My DH. He absolutely hates implants, and doesn't really care for large "real" boobs, either. He even got a few scared looks when my boobs got bigger during pregnancy. :) He likes my boobies right now, but prefers them when they're smaller.
Question three What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?
Keira Knightly is beautiful, IMO, and she's very small/flat. I'm sure I'll think of others.

QOTD 1 Nope Im actually really happy with my breasts. Wouldnt mind them being a bit bigger but there are worse things about my body so I have never seriously thought about it.
2 DH is a boob man and thinks a nice handfull is really all thats needed. boy would he kill me if he knew I said that!

I think there are plenty of women out there who are gorgeous and who also have a small chest.
I'd never, ever consider a boob job. First, I have better things to spend my money on and, second, while big boob might give you some nice cleavage, I think that on most (not all, but most) people they also make you appear heavier than you really are. And, vanity, vanity, I like to look as slim as possible.

BTW...not only did I manage to entrance a boob man...he also was a brunette man and as anyone can tell you, I am adamantly non-brunette. ;) I do believe that we all have our favorite looks, and parts, and styles, and whatnot. Count me in!
Small 34B for awhile, back to A after baby (bah!!)...was almost in a C immediately post-pregnancy but I think that was the 45 lbs I gained during the pregnancy talking.
1. Never seriously considered them. I joke about getting them after I'm done having babies though. I don't think they can get any smaller, but if they do after eventual Baby #2...I might consider it. DH says he doesn't like fake boobs...he thinks I'm crazy to even joke about it.
2. DH says he's not a big boob man, but comments he makes while watching tv lead me to believe otherwise. He's definitely more of a butt man. LOL Good thing - I've got plenty of that.

Hi all. I also have small breasts. My 32A bras are even a little big. To answer the questions:
1. I have considered implants and would probably get them if I had the money readily available (not to big though). I am trying one of the herbal supplements that are supposed to cause breast growth...no results yet.
2. FH loves boobs and tells be that mine are fine, but that if I want implants that I should get them(when I have the money). Luckily he also loves butts, and I have a pretty cute one.

I've never ever considered implants. Just too weird for me to have something foreign in my body that isn't necessary.
I've had plenty of BFs growing up and none of them ever said a thing about my not-even-A sized breasts. My DH is totally a butt/leg guy anyway, although he tells me that he loves my boobs...and the fact that they won't ever be down to my belly button. ;) And he feels the same way I do about implants...if I wanted them? I dunno...I think he'd still protest, but I usually always get what I want. I know he tells me all the time that he's glad I don't want them.
I don't wear bras. :D And I make most of my own clothes, so I make things that fit my small boobs and flatter me. I think that helps a lot with the self confidence, because I don't feel like I should have a certain body type to look good in clothes. There will always be styles that I can't wear because of my body type, but I definitely make the most of the styles that look good on my frame!

I recently went to Nordie's to be professionally fitted for a bra. I recommend doing this. I thought I was a 34A but I am really a 32B. Question one Have you ever seriously contimplated getting breast implants? If so, why haven't you gotten them?
NO WAY! Yeah i'm small chested - but that God i'm healthy. Maybe its warped way of thinking - but if i did get implants - i really think God would strike me with some illness for being a glutten
Question two Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"?
My DH isnt a boob man. He likes boobs but prefers quality over quantity
Question three What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?

I hate padded bras like the plague. They are female toupees.
LOL!!!! My sentiments exactly!!!
Great thread!
I am a 32B on a good day. Jumped up to a 34C while/after I was preggo, but after I lost all the preggo weight, my boob size also went back to a 32B.
I just came back from a sales meeting where - seriously - EVERY woman had a boob job. So, so obvious. On some folks, it looked OK but on the vast majority of women (those who were slim), it just looked very....unbalanced. KWIM?
I sometimes get boob envy, but DH is more of a butt/leg guy and since I am athletic, I have no problems in that department. Having said, that, I often think my clothes would fit better if I were bigger on top.
From my own informal observations (which are probably not entirely accurate), the only women I know who are naturally well endowed tend to be overweight. And yeah, I'd rather be slim and small chested vs overweight and big chested.

I'm a 36A now, 36AA when I'm thinner.
Have you ever seriously contimplated getting breast implants? If so, why haven't you gotten them?
If I manage to lose weight and go back to AA, I'm planning on implants, but not huge ones. I'm thinking a large B/small C.

DH is a total boob man...he loves all boobs. Big, small, real, fake, he loves them all.
What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?
I'll add Nicole Kidman.
What is your favorite bra?
I prefer lined but not padded bras, and Maidenform has a lot of styles I like. It's hard to find 36A bras. Most bras only have A cups in 34 and below. So when I'm a AA, it's pretty much impossible to find bras.

Bras: I like unlined or a thin lining for certain outfits so I won't nip out. I've had good luck with Gap lately.

No, I have heard too many stories about complications and I feel its not worth the risk.
Question two Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"? Come on, all men like boobs, right??
My FH likes boobs but he thinks a handful is plenty.
Question three What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?
The first two people that came to mind were Debra Messing and Paris Hilton, but I see those have already been mentioned.
Bra: I wear a 34B and I like Victoria Secret's Very Sexy Demi Bra! I also have a couple Natori's but the place I got it no longer sells them.

Thanks for adding to this thread everyone. I am so glad to see that there are some women who are confident in themselves being the size that they are. You can add questions if you like.
Anyone have good luck with BCP that help with the size of your breasts? I recently changed BCP and have noticed a half cup size reduction :( They used to be almost a B (I wore platex nearly B and it was so nice!!). Now I am back to a small A :( So depressing. I always felts sexier when my breasts were larger.

BCP didn't do anything to my breast size when I took them.

My body is very sensitive to hormones, so yes, whatever BCP brand I took made my boobs huge (for me). I went up to a C cup. I did not like it at all...felt like it was someone else's body.

I have considered getting implants (although I used to be totally against them). I even got prices from some local plastic surgeons. If we had the money available I would do it.
Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"?
No. My DH always says I'm perfect the way I am.
What women celebreties do you know of that have small breasts, but are still considered beautiful?
Kate Hudson, Debra Messing, Nicole Kidman

Tank tops with shelf bras :) I love VS Ipex and Ipex Wireless. They're so comfy.

Not seriously. Occasionally I think it'd be nice to have a bit more uptop, like a large B or small C, but then I think about how pleasant and convenient it is to be "streamlined." ;)
Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"?
Absolutely. DH is totally an *ss man. We've been running a lot lately, and he noticed for the first time today that I was "nipping out." (I was wearing a sports bra and running top.) I informed him that I nip out all the time when we're running. OTOH, he's constantly making appreciative comments about my butt, and occasionally pointing out nice butts on other female runners.

How about Selma Blair and Ziyi Zhang?
What is your favorite bra?
I don't think I have one... I generally like demi-bras, and bras with some padding. I have very perky nipples- such that thin padding sometimes doesn't even do the trick.

I always wanted to post about this but was always too embarassed. :o So I'll have to join the club.
I am currently a 34 barely B.
Have you ever seriously contimplated getting breast implants? If so, why haven't you gotten them?
Yes I have seriously considered them. However, I have not gotten them yet mostly because I would like to wait until after I have kids. As I am now, I have wider hips and a smaller waist. But I am very small on top as well, which causes me to be bottom heavy. I figure a large B or small C would make me look perportionate. Thanks all I would ever want.
Is there really such a thing as a man who isn't a "boob man"?
My DH is definately not a boob man. Sadly, he is a stomach man who loves toned abs on a lady. Yeah, well I don't have those either.
What is your favorite bra?
I had to answer this because even though I would love slightly larger boobs, I would never want boobs large enough that I couldn't go braless on occasion. I love being able to ware a tank top with no bra!!
First, I have better things to spend my money on and, second, while big boob might give you some nice cleavage, I think that on most (not all, but most) people they also make you appear heavier than you really are. And, vanity, vanity, I like to look as slim as possible.
ITA with this. On the new season of Laguna Beach (yeah, I'm 100 years too old to watch it), the designated mean girl--Cami, I think--has huge boobs and is short. It makes her look really heavy, even though she's actually slim.
Oh, and I can't join your small breast club, as I have already committed to Wendy's Itty Bitty Titty Committee (http://www.constantchatter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21150).
