How true to size are these dresses? I'm thinking about getting the eyelet wrap dress, but don't know if I should order my regular size, a size larger, or a size smaller. Help!

This is a tough one. I just purchased one and tried on several. It really depependes on the style and the material. I tried one on that was more cotton and had less wrap to it and need a size up. With the more traditional wrap (the material is mostly viscosse) the dress is very true to size. When in doubt I would advise to order a size up. With an investment purchase you are ordering without trying on better to have to have it taken in:-)
(PS I love my dress!)

Ditto what princesse said about the type of fabric. I only own the traditional wrap dresses made of viscose which run exactly true to size.

I have they eylet dress. It is fairly true to size but if you are between sizes, I'd say to probably go with the smaller.

DVF Dresses
Where is the best place to buy a DVF dress and how much do they run? I have a high school reunion coming up and might go for a splurge.

I love me some DVF dresses! I have a lot and they've all pretty much been $200 to $500 depending on material, cut, etc..
You can sort of 'make it fit' since they're wrap dresses. I wear a size 0 and I can wear up to a 2 in DVF wrap dresses if I really want the dress and they're out of my size. I do have one that is a 4 & a little bit big on the waist, but I wear a cami underneath and make it work. I loved it too much to pass it up and have been to lazy to take it to the tailor!

I think it'll be good for a September wedding in Indiana. Now I just need to find some shoes!
Thanks for your help!

i always thought that all of her traditional wrap dresses were made with silk jersey? i've got three of them, and they are all silk. rayon/viscose might be better though - silk jersey can be a little too heavy for summer.
nice dress tracieb!
