Our cat is more like a dog sometimes and she chews everything in sight - all of her toys end up destroyed, she eats cardboard off of her scratching post, she chews the wooden railing in our house, chews on our printer's tray, metal - she'll chew on ANYTHING.
Anyway, my MIL jokingly made the suggestion that we should get her a dog bone to chew on. Does such a thing exist that's appropriate for cats?

lol! No, I don't think there's a chew toy for cats. Some cats just chew stuff...but I think it's based on what the stuff is. Check out the "does your cat do this thread". Cardboard is actually a common chew thing.
You may want to put some red peper on things you don't want her to chew. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you!

Have you checked her back teeth? Maybe she has a large buildup of plaque she's trying to "break off".
Anyways, I don't think there are any chew toys for cats...Giving her something to chew I imagine would just train her to think it's okay to chew things. Instead I'd try and break her chewing habit.

They make dental chews (http://www.healthypets.com/cetchforca30.html) for cats:

They're not very durable--a cat can chew one up in a few minutes--but maybe it would help satisfy her need to chew.

I hope she likes them!

We have a cat who likes to chew. Since we have dogs we would break off a small bit of pig ear from the dogs treats and give it to the cat. It would take him a month to eat the 1.5 inch square of a pig ear, but he seems to like them. That and cat grass.
