Spears says baby No. 2 was not planned

NEW YORK (AP) -- Britney Spears, expecting baby No. 2, says she and husband Kevin Federline didn't plan the pregnancy. "It just kind of happened," the 24-year-old singer reveals in an interview in the latest issue of People magazine, on newsstands Friday.

She adds, laughing: "I'm going to wait a while for the next (one)!"

At eight months pregnant, Spears is mom to 11-month old son Sean Preston, the couple's first child. "I feel like I've been pregnant for 10 years!" she says.

Having back-to-back babies can be stressful, she says, but she adhere's to her mom's advice to take it "one day at a time."

"It is now starting to get a little tiring, holding (Sean Preston), but the whole pregnancy I've done it a lot because he's very attached," she tells the magazine. "It makes me feel needed and wanted, so I like it too."

Spears says she and Federline, 28, don't know the gender of their baby-to-be. The little one and its big brother "are going to be so close together, it's going to be weird. But I love it," she says.

Spears - who has gained about 40 pounds during her pregnancy - plans to hit the gym and begin dieting soon after having the baby, scheduled to be a Caesarean birth, as was her first. She is not, though, ignoring her cravings at this point.

"Crunching ice and chocolate, oh my God," she says. "I'll get up in the middle of the night and I'll get a Hershey's bar, the real big ones, and I'll put it in the microwave and melt it and eat it. It sounds disgusting, but it's so satisfying."

Britney's Self Talk (http://www.tmz.com/2006/08/16/britneys-self-talk/)
TMZ.com

With the constant media buzz surrounding Britney Spears (the good, the bad, and the down right embarrassing), one wonders what goes on in Brit's mind every time the pop star steps foot outside to face the paparazzi. Now, for the first time, TMZ has the inside scoop on what Britney may be thinking

Sources working at a recording studio where Britney was working Friday told TMZ that as she walked to her car in this video, the singer told herself- out loud- "Please don't trip! Please don't trip! Please don't trip!"

Britney Spears is ruining all of K-Fed’s fun.

The pop star is making her aspiring rap star hubby, Kevin Federline, get rid of his pet sharks, according to Life & Style.

Spears, who is expecting her second child with Federline, apparently fears that the six Australian gray nurse sharks are a bit of a bit risky when there are two kiddies around the house.

Kevin loves those sharks,” a family friend told the mag. “He even named them. But Brit said there’s no way he’d be keeping them.”

K-Fed also says Spears is his toughest musical critic. “She gives me her real opinions about my tunes,” he said, reports Passim. “When I get really excited about the songs, she would tell me to slow down.”

From Perez Hilton (http://www.perezhilton.com/):

"I don't get any money from my wife. I'm almost broke. As a man, as a male figure and a father, I wouldn't be happy sitting back and living off my wife's fortune. I have to provide for my family. People gotta understand that I'm working, too, she's not the only one that's got things to do."

Ummm, wait. Did she NOT just give that skeez an Amex Card that's by invitation only? And I thought I read she was giving him a $20 a day allowance.

He's total junk. Rusted out, smelly junk.

BTW, my brother-in-law had an EXTREMELY large fish tank and had a small shark. Not sure that it was a gray nursing shark, but it was a shark nonetheless. Very cool to look at, very high maintanence.

I used to hve a friend with a shark, too--it was a foot long. Pretty cool in a fishtank.

So I was curious & googled gray nurse shark. It goes by a couple other names, is an ocean predator, and a full grown male is about 7 feet long. How big is this fishtank?!?!

I am so not a supporter of Brit, but that quote is so sad. Could you imagine saying that too yourself everytime you walked outside? Well, actually I can because I have a horrible habit of tripping and spilling my coffee on a regular basis, but at least I just have the rest of my office laughing at me. She's way too young, psychologically, for the life (trainwreck) she's creating for herself. And k-fed is just a dumbass.

I'm guessing he probably raised the sharks in their grotto outside their yard (he did brag that he had one in one of his unfortunate raps... :p ). Which explains why she nixed the idea because any one of those kids can fall in and become food. I doubt he's smart enough to actually have an aquarium.

I actually feel kinda bad for her- likely holding SP caused her dress to bunch that way. The good news is she's wearing a bra, and holds her child rather than handing him off to a nanny. The bad news is she needs to go up at least 1 cup size and someone wasn't kind enough to tell her that it was showing.

Although she does look better than ususal, it would have been nice if she would have taken some make-up tips from the People magazine staff. She looks really good on the cover of this week's issue (minus the black hair). All that black around the eyes makes her look really haggard.

Holy crap, Sean is actually wearing shoes for once (*gasp*).

Sure, she can hold her own kid (and she should), but one of her assistants is obviously holding the diaper bag and possibly her giant purse (and maybe even her water?). Regardless, she still has help, period. For all we know she could just carry him around in public, yet pass him off at home. Perhaps them going out in public is the only time she actually spends with him. Who knows. Then again maybe she's a greater mom than we all see. Either way, she needs to get rid of Kevin QUICK. That was the worst mistake of her life.

I apologize if this was already posted. It's from the People article and it's cracking me up! Everyone got their TIVO ready for tonight?

Kevin Federline isn't nervous about making his nationally televised debut as a rapper at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday: In fact, Britney Spears's husband tells PEOPLE he's going for the "Oh-my-God" factor when he closes the show with a song from his upcoming album, Playing with Fire.

You're making your debut on the Teen Choice Awards. Are you nervous?
I'm not freaked out at all, man. There ain't no way. I'm ready. It's going to be incredible. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve here and there.

Why are you going public now as a performer?
It was (the) right time, right moment. I've been getting people ready, I think, you know. Now I think they're ready. I'm ready. I've been getting ready myself. It’s taken me a year almost. I mean I’m ready to perform, my music is ready to be heard. Everything. Just ready to step out and do it.

Could you have performed in front of such a big audience a year ago?
I could have if I had to. But I think I took my time, made stuff a lot better. I think if I would have done it a year ago, it would have been more of a thing where people would have laughed at it. I just wasn't ready. The music wasn't ready.

How have you changed since then?
I've just progressed, like my writing is better. Everything has just been progressing and progressing.

What are you going for with your performance?
I think I'm going to go for the Oh-my-God factor. That's what I'm aiming for.

Does it hurt when people link you only to Britney?
Not really, no. I'm glad that people link me to Britney. That’s my wife. That’s my family.

How’s Britney?
She's good, man, better than ever right now. She's a happy mom.

I saw it. He really is horrible. Think he'll come and say "it was just a joke"? He's no Justin Timberlake.

I only watched the last 15-20 minutes of it. But, I was glad that I watched because Johnny Depp was there. I was really surprised that he showed up. Doesn't he normally skip out on all award shows? Ashley Olsen looked pretty good. Jessica Simpson didn't seem very professional.

What is up with her eyebrows in the close-up photo with the hat? They have this weird arch... I guess she overplucks the tops of them. I thought that was one of the cardinal rules of eyebrow shaping - don't touch the tops of them.

I think she looks the best in the pic with the black and white polka dot headband... smiling, dress is not revealing, and her hair looks decent. I am also impressed that she is at least wearing a bra!

maybe they're playing "Who Can Be More Embarrassing!?" and they're competing with each other? they both win really... but that's the only explanation i can come up with as far as this trainwreck goes.

Britney looks great in the white dress photos - you know for Britney! It's nice to see that she's ditched the bright red lipstick for now!

But of course, when she makes a move in the right direction she has to take several steps back by wearing a waaaaay too small dress at the TCA!

Aside from the awful appearance, I just can't stand his voice!! Ugh!! My speakers went out on my computer about half way through, thank goodness!!

Paula Abdul: I Feel Sorry for Britney Spears

He tried to perform his new single.

Paula Abdul even gave her American Idol opinion and it wasn't her usual; 'you're a star.' Abdul said she heard a little of Federline's song. But the American Idol judge said she had heard from others that it wasn't that good.

She said, "The person I feel saddest for is Britney."

Britney Spears introduced K-fed as her "man" with a shout and a giggle, according to one report. She said: "This show has been very good to me and my career over the years. And I'm hoping that it will be as good to our next performer."

Then came Federline. Ugh. He's being ripped on the blogs for a performance that was indeed less than stellar.

Federline closed the show by performing his hip-hop single, 'Lose Control,' with Fox dropping audio multiple times for profanities. Chris "Ludacris" Bridges told USA Today:

"I'm very proud of him. He's faced so much negative criticism." That performance certainly won't stop that onslaught.

Need more proof? TMZ has a poll noting that K-Fed made his live world debut at the Teen Choice Awards last night on FOX.

The poll is titled 'How Badly Did K-Fed Suck?'

The short item says, "TMZ is still shaking its inanimate head at K-Fed's performance. Watch 30 seconds -- trust us, it's more than enough."

Yes, but when working involves producing a record album that is doomed to failure from the start with Britney's money; I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils. Either way, Kevin's name in my mind will forever be the Federhoover; because all he has done from the start is suck Britney dry.

Snap Judgment: K. Fed at the Teen Choice Awards

Well, Kevin Federline gave it his all last night at the Teen Choice Awards. The song was "Lose Control," an ode to "hip hop flava." If I were a polite sixtysomething, I’d say, “I like your energy, young man!” Sadly, I am a bitter thirtysomething, so I’ll instead say: Is it possible to feel embarrassed for a grand piano? Look at it up there, so forlorn, so ashamed, as Kevin hacks those two chords again and again. Look at it quail in horror as K. Fed raps arrhythmically beneath the safety of his ballcap, mumbling every tired rhyme he can conjure, short of “K. Fed/aphid.” (I had a five-spot riding on that one.) Look at it thinking wistfully of Robbie “Vanilla Ice” van Winkle, whose long fingers once caressed its keys, on a sultry afternoon so long ago... and "Havin’ a Roni" was born.

All I’m saying is: Give musical instruments their dignity. If Aphid needs a piano in the future, get some battered whorehouse honky-tonker. (Do whorehouses even have pianos anymore? I haven’t visited one since 1885.) Oh yeah, and I’m calling him Aphid from here on out.

Somebody should have told Britney her boobs were way too big for that nightie. She really should be embarrassed for how she looks and acts.`

I could only handle about 20 mins of the performance. I was confused at first and couldn't tell if that was him dancing around the stage or one of the kids. He was way off with his rap, about 4 or 5 seconds behind the beat. And did he really say "don't hate me for being a super star?"

Wow - that was horrible! Even worse than I imagined and thats pretty bad!

While it would be a ridiculous stretch to say I was "pleasantly surprised" the performance was actually better than what I was expecting. :o It was absolutely horrible, but I had imagined something terrible beyond words. I thought it had a better hook than Popazoa.
But the lyrics absolutely disgusted me, bragging about how much dough he would drop, putting conspicuous consumption on a pedestal. That kind of stuff bothers we more than talking about gettin' with a bunch of different hootchies. (I guess I'm weird that way:rolleyes: ) Also, how ridiculous is it to label yourself a "superstar" on your debut. Somebody is delusional....

Then she did this weird little girl pose when she came out (it's only cute if you're 8!) and clapped her little hands like a little girl when she introduced Federloser. This was my thought. He had absolutely no rhythm whatsoever! How can he even claim to be a dancer? And the rap..........OOOOOO MMMMMMMM GGGGGGGGGGG!! Please someone tell him how bad he sucks. I'm hoping they actually read the reviews, because even the stars that were interviewed on shows like ET were laughing at him! And the words in that song. Is she just totally an idiot for not realizing that those words are just proving how much he's into her for the money only?

And I'm sorry.....this is a kids/teen show. Who the heck are the people that book the talent (cough cough) for a show like this that think its ok to have a hugely pregnant Britney with her tata's hanging out for all those young teens to see.....and her H, who's the worlds biggest loser up on stage using more profanity than a real rapper. Who thinks this is ok?

Ok, my rant is over. I'm hoping they see what idiots they really look like. Her with the gum, and him with less dancing and singing talent than Roseann.

Hip-hop community laughs at K-Fed (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14457111/)

‘He’s a joke’ says editor of XXL magazine

Updated: 6:04 p.m. ET Aug 21, 2006

NEW YORK - Kevin Federline’s TV debut as a rapper is getting derided as a not-ready-for-prime-time disaster by critics in cyberspace and the hip-hop community.

On Sunday, Federline — also known has K-Fed and Mr. Britney Spears — performed his new single “Lose Control” to the peppy crowd at the eighth annual Teen Choice Awards, which aired on Fox. Introduced by his wife, who was dressed in a cleavage-baring mini-dress despite her late pregnancy, Federline stalked about the stage with attitude as he rapped about his bling, popping Cristal (obviously oblivious of the whole hip-hop Cristal boycott) and his amazing rhyming skills.

<snip>

Elliot Wilson, editor in chief of XXL magazine, hadn’t seen Federline’s TV debut. Still, he called it a “YouTube disaster” — something to be laughed off in hip-hop circles.

“I just think we ignore him,” Wilson told The Associated Press on Monday. “He’s a joke, basically. ... I just don’t think he gets it. He doesn’t get that he’s Britney’s man and it’s hard to take him seriously.”

Jermaine Hall, executive editor of King magazine, echoes that sentiment.

“The thing that really hurts him is the fact that he’s perceived as Britney’s husband,” Hall, who had yet to see the performance, told the AP. “You know, kinda like Britney’s second — I don’t even want to say second in command, but — he’s like the Britney Boy. He’s like Mrs. Spears, and it’s kinda hard to get over that perception.”

I know I am late to this party, but I gotta agree with all the posters who said what I was thinking (when I actually caught some of the disaster performance the other night):

K-Fed actully used to get paid to dance?!
"Don't hate me because I'm a Super Star"?!
That horrific nightgown?!

And the audience's reaction was classic! The cameras only caught one or two kids in the front jumping around, the rest were still. The audience would go NUTS over Johnny Depp and all things Pirates, but K-Fed...nothing...if he wasn't so loud, I think we would have heard the crickets.....

"Don't hate because I'm a superstar! And I'm married to a superstar! Nothin' come between us no matter who you are!" he declared, as dancers pop-locked as his side.

It was the most anticipated performance of the night — and the most ridiculed. By morning, videos of it were splashed on Web sites like YouTube.com and various blogs, accompanied by catty comments mocking both Federline and his wife.
If the Web world isn't exactly accepting of Federline's rap-star ambitions, the hip-hop community is even less so.
Elliot Wilson, editor in chief of XXL magazine, hadn't seen Federline's TV debut. Still, he called it a "YouTube disaster" — something to be laughed off in hip-hop circles.

He's like Mrs. Spears, and it's kinda hard to get over that perception."
Federline is expected to release his debut hip-hop album "Playing With Fire" in October. Hall said that despite the barbs K-Fed is getting, he still has a shot at success.
"All you can do, is really just keep on plugging," Hall said. "He's definitely going to have a teenage female fan base. So, you know, make songs that cater to them. Keep it clubby, keep it hoppy, keep it happy."

From TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2006/08/21/britney-spends-some-fast-cash/). This article was obviously a reference to the pics that were posted earlier:

Britney Spears' shopping excursions need to be quick these days, toting around a baby tends to crush one's shopping groove. This recent excursion was no exception- the pop princess managed to blow $5,000 in just 30 minutes!

While son Sean Preston cat napped in the car (no, he was NOT alone), the pop star blew through the trendy store Intuition in Los Angeles. The pop diva picked up a "Lock Up Your Daughters" jumpsuit for her son, as well as other baby tees because, as she told store clerks, Sean likes to sleep in t-shirts.

The expecting mom definitely didn't leave herself out of the shopping spree. She also picked a truck load of items for herself, including a pair of Habitual Knocked Up maternity jeans.

Other items in the singer's shopping bag include a brown polka dot headband (which Britney loved because it reminded her of Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman"), a round raffia hat and a green Jano by Anja Flynt purse that Brit actually wore home.

Folks at the store tell TMZ that most of the clothes Britney bought for herself are intended to be worn after the birth of her second child, as inspiration to get back down to her normal size. Good luck Brit!

Sources inside the store say the pop star seemed very happy and was a "total sweetheart" to everyone inside Intuition. The diva wasn't very "diva-like" they said, and only asked for a cup of ice while she power shopped.

Wow, she probably thinks Federloser's career will plump up the bank account! I think the shopping happened before the awards show? I can't imagine spending all that money in 30 minutes. She obviously shops for SP. So why doesn't he have pants on?

Britney Spears wants to be buried with her dog.

The 'Toxic' singer - who is currently pregnant with her second child - is reportedly so devoted to her pet pooch Lucky, she wants to follow the example of the ancient Egyptians and be buried with her mutt.

She said: "You know how the Pharaohs used to get buried with things they loved? I want to do that with Lucky. She should be laid to rest with me when the time comes."
The 24-year-old singer - who already has an 11-month-old son, Sean Preston, with husband Kevin Federline - says she can't bear being away from her beloved pet because she misses her so much.

She said: "Lucky is just so cute. Mum sometimes looks after her when I'm away but I really miss her."

Meanwhile, Britney has revealed she can't wait to give birth and get back into shape.

She said: "I feel like I've been pregnant for 10 years! I'm so excited about getting my body back and getting a routine scheduled. I'm definitely going to start working out in a huge way."

And she probably doesn't realize that the way pharoahs were able to be buried with thier "pets" is that the animals were killed when the pharoah died.

Of course, I could be wrong, and Lucky could be an especially long-lived mutant dog.

The hope was coffee tables. The reality is '99 ¢ Only' store shelves!

Unfortuately for Britney Spears, her highly anticipated book "Stages" is in a stage of its own- struggle. The book, featuring 103 pages of an all-access glimpse of the American singing sensation and the people closest to her, has officially wound up selling in 99 ¢ Only stores.

When the pop icon first published the book after her 21st birthday back in 2002, Spears was under intense media scrutiny. Because of that she decided to take a step back, reflect and publish a book.

Although her "tell-all" hit rock bottom, folks at the 99 ¢ Only store tell TMZ that the Brit's book was a hot item in their store. Most sold out of the coffee table book in two weeks!

Amazon currently sells "Stages" for $1.91.

My how the mighty have fallen. Does anyone own this book? Have ya seen it at the 99 cent store? Nit Brit, get rid of the hillybilly and maybe your stock will rise again...

Though she's been trying to "class up" her image recently, Britney Spears is still a trailer trash ghetto princess.

Backstage at the Teen Choice Awards, host Jessica Simpson asked Tater Tot's mom if she could kiss her pregnant belly, reports Us Weekly.

"Hell no!" responded Spears.

Hell no!!!!

"Jessica was really insulted, but Britney refused to let her do it," shares one witness.

Meanwhile, Spears' husband is weighing in on his critically-maligned performance at the Teen Choice Awards.

"I'm happy," says The Federjerk. "I think I pulled it off pretty well. (But) I'm overly critical of myself."

What f*****g planet do Britney and Kevin live on????

Delusional!!!!

Ok I don't know if this is true or not but I'd be scared if someone wanted to kiss my preggers tummy. That is sooo weird!

From http://www.tmz.com/2006/08/24/k-fed-to-world-im-broke-but-so-damn-smart/:

K-Fed might not be the world's greatest rapper, but there's one thing he does claim to be "amazing" at: the GED.

The rapper-on-the-make says that he passed his high school equivalency with flying colors -- "Not that it's the hardest thing in the world," he admits. But his math skills in particular are being put to good use – he's calculated that his net worth, even after making $2 million on his TV show, is about ... zero.

His wife – Britney Spears – might be worth as much as $200 million (or so it's been reported), but Federline tells GQ magazine (via Lloyd Grove's Lowdown) that he's "almost broke," despite making a couple million on the UPN reality show "Chaotic." But regardless of his financial situation, K-Fed can always fall back on his degree, one way or another – "I actually got amazing-ass test scores on it," says K-Fed. "I got pretty high test scores for the state of California."

Geez this is too funny. I really think he should try out for Last Comic Standing!:p

More ramblings from Nit Brit's hubby (TMZ (http://tmz.com/page/2/)):

Kevin Federline stopped by "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles this morning and faced a barrage of questions about wife Britney and his now-infamous Teen Choice Awards performance.

So what does Kevin think of his musical debut? "I think it went pretty well for a first-time performance...it only gets better... with time, I'm sure people will see a drastic change with what's happening."

Of course, after that performance of "Lose Control" featuring lyrics like "Don't hate cuz I'm a superstar" and "I'm in a whole other tax bracket," one would think Mr. Spears comes off as less than humble, something Seacrest pressed him on.

"That's just my lifestyle, I'm just speaking about what's been going on the last two years ... I'm a humble person, I could go back to bread and butter."

Other tidbits Kevin revealed: His income vs. Britney's is 20/80, he has a guest spot on an upcoming episode of "CSI," Britney doesn't miss the spotlight, and he admits the release of the cringe-worthy "PopoZao" was premature. You think?

Really, is he living on planet denial? When is Nit Brit going to kick him to the curb so he can start living on bread & butter?:p Yeah, sure your wife doesn't miss the spotlight. How do you explain the NBC interview and Harper's cover?

Report: Federline to appear on 'CSI' By The Associated Press
Sat Aug 26, 11:31 PM ET

LOS ANGELES - First dancing, then rapping. What will Kevin Federline do next? Looks like the 28-year-old husband of singer Britney Spears will be shuffling over to the small screen, where he will appear in an episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" on CBS this fall, People magazine reported.

Although he and Spears ventured into TV with their reality show "Chaotic," which aired on UPN last year, Federline said this will be his first venture into acting.

"It's the first time I've actually had a speaking role," he told the magazine.

Federline started filming this week in Los Angeles. He will play a menacing, arrogant teen who harasses investigators Nick Stokes ( George Eads) and Warrick Brown ( Gary Dourdan) on a job.

The episode is tentatively scheduled to air in October.

Federline recently performed at the Teen Choice Awards, where he rapped one of the songs on his upcoming album, "Playing with Fire."

Spears Registers for Posh Baby Presents

Britney Spears has registered for thousands of dollars worth of pricey baby gifts at a Los Angeles boutique - including a $1,200 baby chandelier. Posh store Petit Tresor is a favorite with celebrity moms and Spears has reportedly registered on the shop's website. A source confirms to MSNBC, "She's having a baby shower soon and has told friends that they can order gifts from the site. It's not like she's expecting her friends to buy everything for the baby. She's already spent, like, $30,000 at the store." The pregnant pop star's registry strongly suggests she's expecting a baby girl because of the predominately pink and frilly merchandise selected.

The registry that Rosebud posted has it listed as Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. The one that Sophia posted has it as Britney Spears and K-Fed. 5 Shores Road
Bristol, CT 06010
United States

as the address. Anyone heard if she have a place in CT?? And the registry with the 11/11 duedate shows this address:
Britney Spears

malibu, CA 90210

Sony Plays with K-Fed's "Fire"

Wed Aug 30, 8:00 AM

Like the Teen Choice Awards, Sony BMG has been good to Britney Spears over the years and she has rewarded the record company with millions of dollars in sales. Now Sony can only hope that it's all in the family.

Kevin Federline, aspiring rap star and proprietor of the recently formed Federation Records, has inked a distribution deal with Sony to release his upcoming debut album, Playing with Fire.

So apparently Sony is prepared to bring the music of the husband of one of its best-selling artists to the masses, despite the unpromising feedback following Federline's performance of the first single from Playing with Fire Aug. 20 at the Teen Choice Awards, where he was introduced by a gum-chewing Spears.

"Um, the backup dancer had more talent," wrote one viewer who caught a replay on YouTube.com.

Federline's missus gave a shout-out to the crowd about how good the awards show had been to her and her career in years past and pleaded, er, asked that the audience "be as good to our next performer."

But maybe if you've heard one pan, you've heard them all. Federline told People after his Teen Choice appearance that he was happy with the outcome.

"I think I pulled it off pretty well. [But] I'm overly critical of myself."

Well, somebody has to keep K-Fed's feet on the ground, besides XXL magazine editor Elliot Wilson, that is. The journalist told the Associated Press the day after Federline's first musical performance on national TV that hip-hop insiders mainly ignore the "America's Most Hated" rapper.

"He's a joke, basically," Wilson said. "I just don't think he gets it. He doesn't get that he's Britney's man and it's hard to take him seriously."

While he still has the music critics to face when Playing with Fire drops in October, Federline is also inviting the TV critics to bring it on.

The 28-year-old landed a guest appearance on CSI this season, playing a self-important teenager who harasses the crew as they investigate a series of brutal beatings.

"I'm very excited about all of the opportunities that are being presented to me at this time that will allow for me to grow as an artist and please my fans," Federline said. He also told People that, though he has had TV experience starring on the reality series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, to actually play someone other than himself on CBS' number-one show he'll be relying on his instincts.

"I just read the script," the burgeoning thespian said. "They told me they wanted it to be more of a natural thing that comes to me."

Britney's Snack for Sale

BRITNEY SPEARS' half-eaten sandwich is up for auction on eBay.

The egg sarnie was pinched from her table at a music awards ceremony, along with Kevin Federline’s corndog.

The snacks were then vacuum-packed and put in the online auction by ‘Derrickito’, who claims to have been a waiter at the event.

The blurb on the site reads: "In situations like this, we're expected to do the usual catering thing, pick up plates after they are done... It does not however say anything about how I am supposed to discard their food when they have me pick up their leftovers."

The sandwich, egg salad with tomato and lettuce, shows Britney’s bite marks while Kev’s corndog (a hotdog in batter, on a stick) is almost finished.

'Derrickito' says the items were stored carefully to extend their lives.

"I had immediately put the two pieces in a carry home box when I got to the kitchen, then into my bag.

"When I got home, I pulled out the camera, took a few before shots, then vacuum-sealed them right away. The vacuum sealer preserves items such as this for years and years."

The highest bid for the item currently stands at $51.

From TMZ (http://tmz.com/):

Kevin Federline will appear on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" today to talk about living in the shadow of Britney Spears and the constant press scrutiny put on their lives.

"I would be lying if I didn't say it was tough," says Federline about being Mr. Spears, "I think the expectation is real high for me you know, it's like you see my wife here she is this huge superstar everybody loves her, all of her music is just hits after hits and it's hard to compete."

Even though K-Fed hopes his new single "Lose Control" will be the next "Toxic," the musician claims no rivalry exists at home. "I don't see it as a competition you know? Maybe other people are putting it in that perspective, but to me it's not a competition ... I just have fun. I love rapping and making music period."

Ellen's full interview with Kevin Federline airs today on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Why is Ellen giving this loser the time of day? Stop the publicity people. I know Britney has a lot of connections and she's probably calling in all sorts of favors to hype this overgrown child but why sully our tvs? :(

I can't remember the last hit Britney had. I think he's overexaggerating about her popularity (it went south as soon as she hooked up with him! )

I watched it... it wasn't horrible, but he's still a doofus. :) He did come off as more well-spoken than I've seen him in other interviews.

One interesting thing... Ellen gave him a tiny motorcycle with a sidecar for Preston and the new baby. She also gave both kids leathers, and the new baby's leathers were all pink, and a pink helmet. She then asked Kevin if they were having a girl and he said he didn't know. I'm sure they both know.

Ha ha! Even then he'd drop the F bomb in front of the pope! Yeah it's media training. Brit had that too but she managed to lose all that training during the infamous Matt Lauer interview, didn't she? ;)

Federfu**er is on now with Ellen... I just don't like the guy nor have ANY respect for him no matter how much media training he gets.

I think people (Ellen) are having him guest their shows now because people want to see him flop and they will tune into their program (ratings) to see it.

That would be sad.......

Justin vs. Britney -- The Battle Rages On?
Posted Sep 5th 2006 2:20PM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Music, Britney and Kevin

Pop star Justin Timberlake famously put his breakup with Britney Spears to song with his hit "Cry Me a River." But with Justin's new album "FutureSex/LoveSounds" a week away from release, it seems Justin isn't done digging up the past.

In a song on the new album titled, "What Goes Around..." Justin seems to make more references to his former flame. Check out these lyrics and decide for yourself:

"It's breaking my heart to watch you run around
'Cause I know that you're living a lie."

In the song, which is written as if directed towards someone who broke up with him, Justin even intimates at thoughts of marriage:

"You said that you were moving on now,
and maybe I should do the same.
Funny thing about that is
I was ready to give you my name."

And is this a veiled reference to K-Fed?

"You spend your nights alone,
and he never comes home.
And every time you call him
All you get's a busy tone."

Of course, this doesn't necessarily have to be a case of art imitating life (after all, he's got Cameron Diaz now) -- but it sure looks that way.

Britney to have baby today?

Is Britney Spears having baby number two today? According to some media reports, the pop star and husband Kevin Federline scheduled a Caesarian delivery today at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. Federline told reporters last month that that new baby would be born on Halloween, but the announcement is being considered a possible ruse to throw off the press. The couple welcomed son Sean Preston nearly a year ago in the same hospital. Source: celebritynation.blogspot.com

Although I would love to see Britney and Justin back together (maybe she would clean up!) I doubt it would happen...ick, that girl is just damaged goods, after Federslime got done with her.

Not that I"m a huge JT fan or anything, but it would lower my opinion of him.

I heard on the radio yesterday that she's having a girl, and she had a C-Section scheduled for Sept. 14 so both the new baby and Sean would have the same birthday.

No new news yet?

My opinion would be considerable lowered -- Cameron is a much better woman for him than Brit.

I don't know if that is true but if it is, how unfair it is to the children. I don't think they want to "share" a birthday together for all eternity. Imagine the relatives giving them "one" gift to share (yeah this is far fetched but I wouldn't but it past their relatives --- "they're country" )

I hope she's not planning the birthday thing. My cousins are sisters and born 6 years apart on the same day. They absolutely hated it as kids. They always had to share their cake, had to share parties, etc. Now granted my aunt and uncle weren't rich so their circumstances are obviously going to be different.

I guess the scoop from Us Weekly's Ken Baker was wrong when he said that Britney Spears was set to give birth to her daughter Jailynn yesterday

She's not really going to name her child after her sister is she?

She's not really going to name her child after her sister is she?

I don't know if it's true or not but it's mentioned in this article(MSN (http://entertainment.msn.com/music/hotgossip/09-07-06_3?GT1=7702):

We were so proud of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline when they christened little Sean Preston. Not only did they avoid going too personal with the moniker (Frappuccino Ferrari Federline, anyone?), but they also stayed away from career-limiting labels so often favored by celebrities (we're looking at you, Pilot Inspektor Lee).

But will their second offspring not be so lucky?

So claims Star magazine (via the New York Daily News), which says Mr. and Mrs. K. Fed plan to give their newest bundle of joy, believed to be a girl, a name that at best will result in playground teasing from Apple and Suri and at worst might foreshadow some time spent in solitary confinement.

The alleged appellation? Jailynn, an homage to Britney's parents Jamie and Lynn, and her doppelganger sister, Jamie Lynn.

And it seems the tabloid has Spears' OB-GYN on speed-dial, because it posits that she'll deliver the ankle-biter by Caesarean section on Sept. 14, which also happens to be Sean P.'s first birthday. (If you're looking for the perfect gift for the chubby-cheeked tot, we suggest a few therapy sessions to help him work through that whole sibling rivalry thing.)

But don't order those "Jailynn"-embroidered wife-beater T-shirts and micro-mini-skirts just yet. Despite Britney reportedly indulging in several pink-filled shopping sprees, she recently stocked up on "boy booty" at fancy-schmancy L.A. baby boutique Petit Tresor, says the Daily News.

Us Weekly, however, insists the down-market duo still doesn't know whether it's a boy or a girl (they've apparently picked out names for both and have decorated the nursery in neutral hues), and pinpoints Britney's delivery date as Sept. 7, which is right about ... now. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, as Britney finishes incubating the couple's latest contribution to the gene pool, Kevin continues to push his music career. On Wednesday, he sat down with talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres to discuss what life is like as the much-mocked would-be rapper-husband of an erstwhile pop starlet.

"I would be lying if I didn't say it was tough," admitted Federline, who once again performed the brain scrub-inducing ditty "Lose Control." "I think the expectation is real high for me, you know. It's like you see my wife, here she is this huge superstar, everybody loves her, all of her music is just hit, hit, hit after hit, and it's hard to compete."

But he seems to be keeping his delusions of grandeur somewhat in check: "I don't see it as a competition. Maybe other people are putting it in that perspective, but I don't see it like that at all. I just have fun. I love rapping and making music. Period."

As for his swelling wife, he says her cravings with this pregnancy haven't been "too bad," except for wanting "ice chips all the time," an indulgence he confesses he doesn't understand. (And because we're nothing if not helpful, a quick search of "craving ice" reveals that perhaps the Britster should have her iron levels checked.)

And don't forget to TiVo Kevin's sure-to-be memorable acting debut as a teenage toughie on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" next month, a performance he rates as "pretty good."

Well I guess it's part of "being country." I do hope they don't use that ugly name it's been done already (see Jamie-Lynn Spears).

OKay, call me stupid, but her name would be Jail-ynn. Yes, said Jay-lynn, but the name has the word jail in it! That girl is seriously disturbed if this rumor true...she could at least spell the name differently.
