BTW, my brother-in-law had an EXTREMELY large fish tank and had a small shark. Not sure that it was a gray nursing shark, but it was a shark nonetheless. Very cool to look at, very high maintanence.

So I was curious & googled gray nurse shark. It goes by a couple other names, is an ocean predator, and a full grown male is about 7 feet long. How big is this fishtank?!?!

I am so not a supporter of Brit, but that quote is so sad. Could you imagine saying that too yourself everytime you walked outside? Well, actually I can because I have a horrible habit of tripping and spilling my coffee on a regular basis, but at least I just have the rest of my office laughing at me. I'm guessing he probably raised the sharks in their grotto outside their yard (he did brag that he had one in one of his unfortunate raps... :p ). Which explains why she nixed the idea because any one of those kids can fall in and become food. I doubt he's smart enough to actually have an aquarium.

I'm not crazy about the jet black hair either. If she would just go a couple of shades lighter and do a deep dark brown with that hair style she would be so much better off. But she does look a lot happier in that shoot... I like the fact that she isn't trying to Vogue that shoot (KWIM) and it is more natural.

I actually feel kinda bad for her- likely holding SP caused her dress to bunch that way. The good news is she's wearing a bra, and holds her child rather than handing him off to a nanny. The bad news is she needs to go up at least 1 cup size and someone wasn't kind enough to tell her that it was showing.

Regardless, she still has help, period. For all we know she could just carry him around in public, yet pass him off at home. Perhaps them going out in public is the only time she actually spends with him. Who knows. Then again maybe she's a greater mom than we all see. Either way, she needs to get rid of Kevin QUICK. That was the worst mistake of her life.

I think she looks great. Who hasn't had a tank strap fall down, or bend over to reveal a bra? I don't really see how that's grounds for criticism, but who am I? :) I do wish she'd lighten her hair just a shade or two, but by her standards she looks especially fantastic.

I think she looks great for 8 months pregnant! I know I'm having trouble carrying my 14 month old son and I'm only 4 months pg! I think she's really trying to fix her image. :)

I can not tell you how many times I have been wearing a deper v neck and had my bra show because I was holding my DD (her at my hip pulls the fabric sideways). At least she is wearing a coordinating bra that in the second set of pics obviously does not appear when she is not holding SP.
I was thinking that she looks fabulous (except the bad hair color), especially for being 8 months pg.

I saw it. He really is horrible. Think he'll come and say "it was just a joke"? He's no Justin Timberlake.
I only watched the last 15-20 minutes of it. But, I was glad that I watched because Johnny Depp was there. I was really surprised that he showed up. Doesn't he normally skip out on all award shows? Ashley Olsen looked pretty good. Jessica Simpson didn't seem very professional.

I think she looks the best in the pic with the black and white polka dot headband... smiling, dress is not revealing, and her hair looks decent. I am also impressed that she is at least wearing a bra!

If I were a polite sixtysomething, I’d say, “I like your energy, young man!” Sadly, I am a bitter thirtysomething, so I’ll instead say: Is it possible to feel embarrassed for a grand piano? Look at it up there, so forlorn, so ashamed, as Kevin hacks those two chords again and again. Look at it quail in horror as K. Fed raps arrhythmically beneath the safety of his ballcap, mumbling every tired rhyme he can conjure, short of “K. Fed/aphid.” (I had a five-spot riding on that one.) Look at it thinking wistfully of Robbie “Vanilla Ice” van Winkle, whose long fingers once caressed its keys, on a sultry afternoon so long ago... and "Havin’ a Roni" was born.

While it would be a ridiculous stretch to say I was "pleasantly surprised" the performance was actually better than what I was expecting. :o It was absolutely horrible, but I had imagined something terrible beyond words. I thought it had a better hook than Popazoa.
But the lyrics absolutely disgusted me, bragging about how much dough he would drop, putting conspicuous consumption on a pedestal. That kind of stuff bothers we more than talking about gettin' with a bunch of different hootchies. I know I am late to this party, but I gotta agree with all the posters who said what I was thinking (when I actually caught some of the disaster performance the other night):

Unfortuately for Britney Spears, her highly anticipated book "Stages" is in a stage of its own- struggle. The book, featuring 103 pages of an all-access glimpse of the American singing sensation and the people closest to her, has officially wound up selling in 99 ¢ Only stores.
When the pop icon first published the book after her 21st birthday back in 2002, Spears was under intense media scrutiny. Because of that she decided to take a step back, reflect and publish a book.
Although her "tell-all" hit rock bottom, folks at the 99 ¢ Only store tell TMZ that the Brit's book was a hot item in their store. Most sold out of the coffee table book in two weeks!
Amazon currently sells "Stages" for $1.91.

The biggest difference I see is that in the first registry; there are a larger number of bigger ticket items; including pricey furniture. The second one; not so much. I don't know, the first registry seems to be the more legit of the two, but what the heck do I know? :p

Like the Teen Choice Awards, Sony BMG has been good to Britney Spears over the years and she has rewarded the record company with millions of dollars in sales. Now Sony can only hope that it's all in the family.
Kevin Federline, aspiring rap star and proprietor of the recently formed Federation Records, has inked a distribution deal with Sony to release his upcoming debut album, Playing with Fire.
So apparently Sony is prepared to bring the music of the husband of one of its best-selling artists to the masses, despite the unpromising feedback following Federline's performance of the first single from Playing with Fire Aug. 20 at the Teen Choice Awards, where he was introduced by a gum-chewing Spears.
"Um, the backup dancer had more talent," wrote one viewer who caught a replay on YouTube.com.
Federline's missus gave a shout-out to the crowd about how good the awards show had been to her and her career in years past and pleaded, er, asked that the audience "be as good to our next performer."
But maybe if you've heard one pan, you've heard them all. Federline told People after his Teen Choice appearance that he was happy with the outcome.
"I think I pulled it off pretty well. [But] I'm overly critical of myself."
Well, somebody has to keep K-Fed's feet on the ground, besides XXL magazine editor Elliot Wilson, that is. The journalist told the Associated Press the day after Federline's first musical performance on national TV that hip-hop insiders mainly ignore the "America's Most Hated" rapper.
"He's a joke, basically," Wilson said. "I just don't think he gets it. He doesn't get that he's Britney's man and it's hard to take him seriously."
While he still has the music critics to face when Playing with Fire drops in October, Federline is also inviting the TV critics to bring it on.
The 28-year-old landed a guest appearance on CSI this season, playing a self-important teenager who harasses the crew as they investigate a series of brutal beatings.

Sony Plays with K-Fed's "Fire"

Like the Teen Choice Awards, Sony BMG has been good to Britney Spears over the years and she has rewarded the record company with millions of dollars in sales. Now Sony can only hope that it's all in the family.
Kevin Federline, aspiring rap star and proprietor of the recently formed Federation Records, has inked a distribution deal with Sony to release his upcoming debut album, Playing with Fire.
So apparently Sony is prepared to bring the music of the husband of one of its best-selling artists to the masses, despite the unpromising feedback following Federline's performance of the first single from Playing with Fire Aug. 20 at the Teen Choice Awards, where he was introduced by a gum-chewing Spears.
"Um, the backup dancer had more talent," wrote one viewer who caught a replay on YouTube.com.
Federline's missus gave a shout-out to the crowd about how good the awards show had been to her and her career in years past and pleaded, er, asked that the audience "be as good to our next performer."
But maybe if you've heard one pan, you've heard them all. Federline told People after his Teen Choice appearance that he was happy with the outcome.
"I think I pulled it off pretty well. [But] I'm overly critical of myself."
Well, somebody has to keep K-Fed's feet on the ground, besides XXL magazine editor Elliot Wilson, that is. The journalist told the Associated Press the day after Federline's first musical performance on national TV that hip-hop insiders mainly ignore the "America's Most Hated" rapper.
"He's a joke, basically," Wilson said. "I just don't think he gets it. He doesn't get that he's Britney's man and it's hard to take him seriously."
While he still has the music critics to face when Playing with Fire drops in October, Federline is also inviting the TV critics to bring it on.
The 28-year-old landed a guest appearance on CSI this season, playing a self-important teenager who harasses the crew as they investigate a series of brutal beatings.
"I'm very excited about all of the opportunities that are being presented to me at this time that will allow for me to grow as an artist and please my fans," Federline said. He also told People that, though he has had TV experience starring on the reality series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, to actually play someone other than himself on CBS' number-one show he'll be relying on his instincts.
"I just read the script," the burgeoning thespian said. "They told me they wanted it to be more of a natural thing that comes to me."

I was reading the Before They Were Stars issue of People and Federloser's jr high yearbook voted him as "Most Likely to be on America's Most Wanted." Yeah well I do hope he eventually ends up on that show cuz he looks slimey!

The snacks were then vacuum-packed and put in the online auction by ‘Derrickito’, who claims to have been a waiter at the event.
The blurb on the site reads: "In situations like this, we're expected to do the usual catering thing, pick up plates after they are done... It does not however say anything about how I am supposed to discard their food when they have me pick up their leftovers."
The sandwich, egg salad with tomato and lettuce, shows Britney’s bite marks while Kev’s corndog (a hotdog in batter, on a stick) is almost finished.
'Derrickito' says the items were stored carefully to extend their lives.
"I had immediately put the two pieces in a carry home box when I got to the kitchen, then into my bag.
"When I got home, I pulled out the camera, took a few before shots, then vacuum-sealed them right away. The vacuum sealer preserves items such as this for years and years."
The highest bid for the item currently stands at $51.

I watched it... it wasn't horrible, but he's still a doofus. :) He did come off as more well-spoken than I've seen him in other interviews.
One interesting thing... Ellen gave him a tiny motorcycle with a sidecar for Preston and the new baby. She also gave both kids leathers, and the new baby's leathers were all pink, and a pink helmet. She then asked Kevin if they were having a girl and he said he didn't know. I'm sure they both know. :rolleyes:

I don't know if that is true but if it is, how unfair it is to the children. I don't think they want to "share" a birthday together for all eternity. Imagine the relatives giving them "one" gift to share (yeah this is far fetched but I wouldn't but it past their relatives --- "they're country" :rolleyes: )

I hope she's not planning the birthday thing. My cousins are sisters and born 6 years apart on the same day. They absolutely hated it as kids. They always had to share their cake, had to share parties, etc. Now granted my aunt and uncle weren't rich so their circumstances are obviously going to be different.

We were so proud of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline when they christened little Sean Preston. Not only did they avoid going too personal with the moniker (Frappuccino Ferrari Federline, anyone?), but they also stayed away from career-limiting labels so often favored by celebrities (we're looking at you, Pilot Inspektor Lee).
But will their second offspring not be so lucky?
So claims Star magazine (via the New York Daily News), which says Mr. and Mrs. K. Fed plan to give their newest bundle of joy, believed to be a girl, a name that at best will result in playground teasing from Apple and Suri and at worst might foreshadow some time spent in solitary confinement.

"I would be lying if I didn't say it was tough," admitted Federline, who once again performed the brain scrub-inducing ditty "Lose Control." "I think the expectation is real high for me, you know. It's like you see my wife, here she is this huge superstar, everybody loves her, all of her music is just hit, hit, hit after hit, and it's hard to compete."
But he seems to be keeping his delusions of grandeur somewhat in check: "I don't see it as a competition. Maybe other people are putting it in that perspective, but I don't see it like that at all. I just have fun. I love rapping and making music. Period."
As for his swelling wife, he says her cravings with this pregnancy haven't been "too bad," except for wanting "ice chips all the time," an indulgence he confesses he doesn't understand. OKay, call me stupid, but her name would be Jail-ynn. Yes, said Jay-lynn, but the name has the word jail in it! That girl is seriously disturbed if this rumor true...she could at least spell the name differently.

Heyyyyy I was going to name my daughter Jailynn (Jay-Lynn). I loved that name (then) but my family and friends too thought it was too country. So I changed my mind. THANK GAWD :cool: <<< that was mean :o
