Well, not to defend KFed but he was definitely playing the heel (bad guy) last night... he came out insulting the crowd and refused to sing, etc. But the crowd definitely hated him before he even opened his mouth. :)
He did take the F.U. from John Cena really well... too bad he couldn't have dropped KFed on his head.
I'm one of those weird people that love wrestling. :)

Britney Spears' son's name is not Sutton Pierce
We heard that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's new son's name is not Sutton Pierce. Kevin alluded to this during an interview on a Seattle radio station and now we think we know the baby boy's real name. According to one of our sources, his name is Jayden James and they call him J.J.

Britney Spears Crash Diet: 26 Pounds in One Month
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Tina Sims
Oct 18, 2006
Britney Spears was supposed to hold off until Halloween and debut her fabulous post baby body at her hubby's special CD release party on to promote the aspiring rapper's debut album 'Playing with fire'.
Britney Spears Crash Diet: 26 Pounds in One Month
But she looked so good she showed off a bit and stepped out last weekend looking slim, trim and happy.
***
Us Weekly slaps the two-time mom on the cover and reports that Brit has dropped a whopping 26 pounds in one month. She was out and about in her favorite coastal enclavge and her hometown of Malibu, California, and visited the boutique Planet Blue on October 9.
The weekly entertainment magazine reports she had something special in mind: a reward for dropping more than 25 pounds! Five weeks after giving birth, Spears is sporting a noticeably slimmer physique – and she did it without a trainer, pills or nutritionist.
***
Us gives this report:
“She is not treating herself with food and desserts anymore,” says a family friend of Spears, who gave birth to her second child, Sutton, on September 12.
According to an employee at the store, Spears gushed that she was “a whole new size – an 8,” and needed “all new clothes.”
Spears’ weight jumped from 120 to 160 during the pregnancy, but she she took off the pounds with diet and exercise.

She should be happy that she lost the weight, regardless of how many people here have lost their pg weight quickly.

10-19-2006, 09:45 AM
The reason so many people here lost weight quickly postpartum is because that's typical--a good portion of pregnancy weight is excess body fluids, amniotic fluid, uterine growth, placenta, the baby, and will be lost within a week or two, regardless of who you are or what you do. The rest of pregnancy weight is harder to get rid of because it's usually fat, or increased breast volume that will last while BFing. I suspect Brit lost just as much weight the first month after she had Sean Preston, but had gained more overall so it was a smaller percentage of her total pregnancy weight gain and wasn't as noticable because she still had so much more to lose to get to her pre-pregnancy weight.
I gained a LOT of weight during my pregnancy and lost a LOT of it by 2 weeks post-partum. I still looked nowhere as near as Brit does in those recent pics :)

I may have lost my weight within a few weeks PP but let me tell you, my body did not look as good clothes as hers does. Your compostion can really change after a baby and not in a good way. If that wasn't the case we would not ohh and ahh over most celebrities who look fantastic post partum. Genetics are amazing. I say way to go Brit!

Where do you go as an emerging rap artist when you want to garner some serious street cred? Playa, everyone knows you've just got to do ... Leno.
Which is exactly what K-Fed did (or thought he was doing) last night when he performed on "The Tonight Show" to promote his upcoming world tour, which kicks off November 4th in New York. Hitting outlets like Leno and the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards, K-Fed is clearly going straight to the streets with his new album. And, of course, with lyrics like "Kicks on my feet/That you ain't never seen/Lights on my wrist/Stones in my ears/$2 million I brought in the new year" and "I'm rich but my hustle like I'm broke/Never knowing what the pancake man gonna flip," K-Fed is without a doubt the hardscrabble ghetto poet of the new millennium.
We can't wait until the tour is in full swing and we can all revel in his greatness.
Oh my, look what amazing ass GED's will get you!!? That rap sounds painful! Shame on you Jay Leno for letting this loser hurt our ears!

K-Fed and Paris Hilton should go on tour together. Neither of them have talent, so it should make for a GREAT show.
Since K-Fed loves money (gold digger that he is) and Paris loves her bad boys (real or imagined), they'll hook up. Next you know Fed will be dumping Brit, and will marry Paris, who will start a downward spiral to white trashdom, but nobody will really care because Paris couldn't hold a candle to our beloved Brit-Brit.

From TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2006/10/24/k-fed-throws-a-bitch-slap/#continuedcontents):
Last week he got his ass kicked. This week, K-Fed was on the hunt for revenge.
The "rapper" returned to WWE's "Monday Night Raw" last night to signs reading "K-Fed needs a Kick to the Head," F-U K-Fed," and our favorite, "Hit Him Baby One More Time."
After taking a ringside seat to watch Johnny Nitro fight John Cena -- the guy who whooped on K-fed last week -- Federline decided to sabotage his enemy attempting to distract Cena during the fight. It worked. After Nitro viciously tossed Cena outside the ring, K-Fed ran up to the dazed wrestler, reached back and pimp-slapped Cena right in the mouth. Damn son!!!!
Cena soon regained his senses, K-Fed instantly retreated and the wrestler went back in the ring to win the match. But as soon as Cena was crowned the victor, he looked to do some bitch-slapping of his own. A frightened K-Fed retreated all the way to entry tunnel, before he fell backwards to the ground like a scared little puppy. Just as Cena was about to smash Federleezy, K-Fed's posse arrived. King Booker and Big Show sprinted out of the tunnel and ambushed Cena, as K-Fed stood far behind, laughing, taunting and leading a "Cena Sucks" chant.
After the match, K-Fed told the official WWE website that he returned to the ring to defend his family's honor. "Britney was definitely watching, my whole family was watching. She can't have someone beating up her husband all over the place. I've got to stand up for my family and hold it down."
Way to hold it down K-Fed.
What a joke!
The mystery deepens over Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's second child: Now, not only are people questioning the baby's name, but there's buzz everywhere that the kid might actually be a girl, not a boy, as had been widely reported.
Just last week, reports began to emerge that the baby's name was not in fact Sutton Pierce but Jayden James, but now a source tells MSNBC's Jeanette Walls that everyone might have it completely wrong, and that the baby is in fact a girl. More supporting evidence came when K-Fed told a radio show recently that it was "crazy" that people tell him that the baby's a different sex than it actually is, and when Britney was spotted at tot-shop Planet Blue buying pink baby clothes.
Whatever they're doing, it's all in the name of PR; an MSNBC source says that the mystery over the baby is being used to help maximize impact right around the time of K-Fed's Oct. 31 CD launch, and that the first photos of the child are scheduled for release right around then.
Well I guess they're taking a page out of Tommy Cruise's book and pimping our their new kid in the name of Federloser's laughable music career! :p

I SO agree with this! I have not had my baby yet, but it seems to me that most people lose all or most of their baby weight pretty quickly when they gain within the recommended amount. "Normal" women do it all the time. She only looks "good" in that picture because she normally looks so bad. I think it's a bad outfit and her hair looks terrible. I would give her more credit if she were a regular mom who was actually taking care of her babies, but considering she has full-time help, I don't see what the big deal is.

TMZ has obtained a copy of the birth certificate for the latest addition to the Spears/Federline family, and now it's official -- it's a boy!
The certificate, filed today at the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder's office, reveals that the boy's name is Jayden James Federline. The certificate is signed by K-Fed himself, although a close inspection reveals that the signature is more like printing. Daddy Fed inked his name on September 13, one day after Jayden was born.
There was considerable confusion surrounding the birth of Britney's second child. Originally the baby's name was reported as Sutton Pierce Federline. Recent reports also indicated the baby was a girl.
So baby Sean Preston has a lil' bro. No, we're not talking about Kevin.
here is a link to the birth certificate:

From MSN (http://entertainment.msn.com/music/hotgossip/10-23-06_3):
Now that Kevin Federline has conquered the boob tube with his Emmy-worthy turn as a punching bag on "CSI," he may be looking to break onto the big screen. The London Sun claims Britney Spears' mock-absorbing hubby is set to appear in what's terrifyingly described as a "Shakespearean street hip-hop movie."
The flick, titled "Caught on Tape," will feature the cast delivering their dialogue as raps, with rapper-turned-auteur Sticky Fingaz labeling it a "hardcore musical" with -- deep breath -- "a lot of" sex, violence, action, drama, sentiment and romance.
"Kev Fed is going to be in it -- it's his acting debut," writer-director Sticky proudly tells the tab. "He's really cool, he's dope ... He has an album coming out. I've heard it and it's good."
He's referring, of course, to the expected rap-tastrophe that is "Playing with Fire," which Federline has been ceaselessly stumping for in recent weeks.
On Thursday, he made a promotional pitstop on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, where the former background dancer awkwardly busted a move as he performed "Privilege."
Britney, however, wasn't on hand for her husband's less-than-enthusiastically received rap efforts, instead preferring to partake of the many delights Las Vegas has to offer.
TMZ.com says the comeback-minded pop starlet turned up with a girlfriend Thursday night at Sin City hotspot Tao, where she purportedly imbibed Jack and Cokes in a private skybox until almost 3 a.m. with a couple of dancer pals.
The previous night, however, she downed only water as she checked out the Pussycat Dolls' booty-shaking burlesque show at Pure, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which adds that she kept on top of her Us Weekly-touted post-baby slim-down routine by working out at her hotel.
Meanwhile, speculation continues over whether the Federlines' new ankle-biter, born Sept. 12, has actually been christened Sutton Pierce.
The down-market duo has yet to confirm the tot's moniker, and the rumor mill has been churning with chatter that his name (if indeed it is a he, since they haven't confirmed that either) might be Jayden James.
The New York Daily News is the latest to weigh in on the mystery, quoting a friend of Kevin's mom as saying, "Grandma Federline calls the child Jayden."
Ewww...I hope his movie debut goes direct to video! What a waste of money!

From http://www.tmz.com/
Britney Spears is throwing some much-needed support behind her husband's upcoming album.
Members of her mailing list -- you know who you are -- received an e-mail from the pop princess hocking Kevin Federline's CD "Playing With Fire," warning it was "your last chance" to pre-order the wannabe rapper's big debut.
In case the word of Britney wasn't enough to motivate the legions of 13-year-old girls to snag a copy of her hubby's album, Federline is also offering an autographed headshot (yes!) to the first 500 orders. The e-mail says that there are "only a few left," though it's hard to believe Kevin actually has anywhere near 500 fans.
Kevin FederlineAlso, cities of Chicago, Cleveland, Atlantic City, Anaheim, San Diego and Los Angeles beware -- K-Fed will be performing in your area soon. His tour kicks off next month.
Argh...stop shoving that loser down our throats! If Brit wants to keep him, she should let him sleep at home and do nothing. Stop inflicting pain on the public!
K-Fed: I'm The Most Underrated Person Ever!
Kevin Federline thinks he's very underestimated – more underestimated, in fact, than anyone else out there. And K-Fed's so secure in his manhood that he can go out and buy wife Britney's tampons without a hint of embarrassment.
The aspiring rapper, whose album "Playing with Fire" drops next Tuesday (calm yourselves), tells Entertainment Weekly (via MSNBC) that he is "the most talked-about [person] of anyone over the last couple of years," a claim that, for better or worse, isn't terribly far from the truth. And when asked to name the most underrated performer in rap, K-Fed apparently gave it about 12 seconds of thought, and then said, "Me."
And he also shared his feelings about feminine-hygiene-shopping with the mag. "I used to be embarrassed to go to the store and buy tampons, but that's past tense," said Federline. "Once you make it through that, then you're good."
Now we know why she keeps him around!

From MSN (http://entertainment.msn.com/music/hotgossip/10-26-06_5):
The moniker mystery that has surrounded Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's 6-week-old tot may be over (as you know, they've dubbed him with the career-limiting label Jayden James "J.J." Federline), but there's still plenty going on in their poopie diaper-filled world.
Let's start with the state of fertile flames' union of two years, which has been hit with rift rumblings in the wake of their solo carousing last week, with Brit whooping it up in Las Vegas as her rhyme-happy hubby club-hopped in Los Angeles.
According to K. Fed, who has shown a heretofore-unknown work ethic as he tirelessly promotes his soon-to-be-released rap effort "Playing with Fire," he and his much more famous missus are doing just ducky.
"Our relationship is strong," he maintains to People. "We are going to last a long time."
And while Federline's "long time" prediction may seem a bit vague given his previous vow to stick with Spears until death, a snitch tells Us that she's come to terms with her husband's domestic limitations.
But does the comeback-minded pop starlet's acceptance extend to his boogying down with a female admirer, as the mag claims he did at an L.A. hotspot on Oct. 20?
"They had their arms around each other briefly," says a bystander.
"It's still an obstacle for him to balance family and partying," explains a Federline insider. "Kevin's gonna be Kevin. But Britney knows that."
In related news, Kevin is convinced the public's well-documented antipathy towards his very existence will translate into boffo sales for his expected rap-tastrophe (it arrives, appropriately enough, on Halloween).
"If you want to hate me, cool, hate me," he tells People. "You know why? Because all it's going to do is help me."
Federline also has the utmost confidence in his thespian skills, which he recently showed off by getting sucker-punched on "CSI," much to the satisfaction of the audience at home.
"I shocked myself," he says of his performance of a trash-talking teen. "There were parts that I wish I would have done different, but there are parts that really took me, like, 'Wow, did I do that?' I looked at myself and I was like, 'It looked good. It looked perfect.'"
People Mag gave him a 2-page article (why oh why?). He's delusional. What weed is he smoking? Brit, you shouldn't settle for less. Drop the pancake man now!

He was in the episode for a total of maybe 5 minutes!! If there were parts he would have wanted to do differently; that was half of his screen time!! WTF?!?!?

From TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/):
Who wants to hear Kevin Federline rap? No one in New York, apparently. The aspiring rapper, whose tour starts this week, might get his New York stop canceled due to pathetic ticket sales.
Page Six reports this morning that so few $20 tickets have been sold for K-Fed's concert this coming Saturday at Manhattan's Webster Hall that the venue, which is fairly small-capacity to begin with, is thinking of nixing the gig because, as a Post source puts it, "New Yorkers are clearly not fans of 'PopoZao.'" But it wouldn't' be the first time that K-Fed – the self-described "most underrated" performer ever -- has under-performed. His concert in Cleveland was 86ed because of lack of interest.
Those record execs may continue force feeding us w/ his atrocious music but the public knows better! :p

From US Weekly (http://usmagazine.com/this_minute):
When we first heard that Kevin Federline, 28, had written a confessional essay for the New York Post to inaugurate his album Playing With Fire, we expected it to read something like this:
“It’s Halloween, b-tches! BOO-yah! My album just dropped, y’all, but don’t even TRY to hate. Step to The Fed and prepare to have yo’ rates – and yo’ face – ADJUSTED, dawg! ZAM!”
But, it turns out, our Man of Letters has crafted a thoughtful piece, with surprisingly coherent writing (except for the part where he talks about journalism, but then, we never really understood that field either). His revelations below…
On dropping out of school:
“I dropped out of high school when I was in the ninth grade. My head wasn't there. It's not like I was the worst student, either. Like, I could do the work, but I didn't want to do the work.”
On how he met wife Britney Spears:
"I was in a club one night and some talent agent saw me and he was like, "I want you to be at this audition tomorrow." Went to the audition, got the job, wound up on the road. Do you remember LFO? That was my first job. That was her tour - opening up for my wife, in the future, that I had no idea about. She was the headliner. A lot of people say I danced for my wife, and I never have. I mean, I maybe was introduced to her once. You know, I was 21 - she was 16, 17."
On the media:
"I honestly think the media is a give-and-take. It's not that I can say, Completely f - - k you. I could just only say, Halfway f - - k you. But I know why they do it. It's because they're making a lot of money….I come from a place where people do a lot of things to make money. So I cannot be mad at them."
On being a writer:
"I like that real journalism. I like putting other people's words in a sentence and making people, like, their faces light up about it. Not frown. Light up."
On being “America’s Most Hated”:
"I didn't realize how much people love to hate me! It's crazy."
On why he’s rarely seen with his kids:
"I like to keep my private life private. You don't see pictures of me with my kids everywhere because I don't - that's not me."
On his forthcoming autobiography:
"I want to do a book - the book is definite. It will be a biography of my life until I met my wife, so people will better understand who I am."
On future charity work:
"I want to go to Africa - I think it's a place where you can go and really, really help people and make a difference. And it's also a place I want to see - I'm into the safari animals and all that stuff. I grew up watching the Discovery Channel."
On who he is:
"But I never have cared what other people think about me. Because I'm Kevin, and that's it. There's no changing that."
"I could do the work..." == Isn't that the story of his life?
Re not being seen w/ kids-- what a load of crap. I hate that sentence (maybe cuz it spawned out of Mrs Federline #3 aka Jessica "Rubber Lips" Simpson)! That's such a cop out. If you want to keep your life private, keep your attn whoring wife out of the magazines etc.
I guess now he wants to take a page from Angelina & Brad! Take care of your own brood first! That interview was a joke! :p

K-Fed Reviews In! (http://www.bravotv.com/blog/thedish/2006/11/kfed_reviews_in.php)
November 1, 2006
We are pleased to announce K-Fed’s debut Album Playing With Fire has exploded at number 3,830 on the Amazon Sales Charts! (as per 7:30 am Nov. 1st).
And that’s just after one day on sale! Can you imagine where this might go for Kevin? Sales might slip for the second day, but we trust this rapping sensation will stay in the top … well … five thousand at least.
What other 3,829 albums could people be buying that could be blocking K-Fed’s rocket to the top?
Well, there’s an album of sea chanteys that’s doing pretty well. That’s right, we did a random search for anything that’s blocking K-Fed’s blockbuster release and found an album called Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys which is ranked #213 in music on the Amazon list. That’s 3,617 places ahead of K-Fed.
Okay, so maybe more people would rather listen to pirate sea chanteys than K-Fed, but it’s inevitable. No matter where one is in their life, there is always someone ahead of them and someone behind them.
So who’s behind K-Fed?
Barney. Playing with Fire is at least 400 albums ahead of that purple dinosaur from public television. Barney's Favorites, Vol. 1 [SOUNDTRACK] has an Amazon.com Sales Rank of #4,267 in Music.
Not bad, Kev! Barney used to be a superstar!
For some real genius and creativity, take a look at K-Fed’s Amazon reviews, here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-reviews/B000IU3YLY/ref=cm_cr_dp_pt/103-5846221-3450239?ie=UTF8&n=5174&s=music).
From the additional pictures of the album on Amazon, someone posted this gem. 24 out of 24 people found the image helpful. Couldn't agree more!

When Nepotism Fails (http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=239722>1=7702)
Kevin Federline and five other singers who never had a chance
By Sean Nelson
MSN Music Editor
In music, as in all things, nepotism is a double-edged sword.
The history of pop is littered with examples of performers whose sole excuse for existing is their relation, by blood or marriage, to a more established star. And although this sub-subgenre has produced many hits and a few legitimate heirs, the lion's share of its inhabitants are simply dwarf stars. They're not has-been ... they simply never were. They never had a chance. It's a world, after all, in which Ashlee Simpson -- little dauphine to Jessica Simpson -- must be counted as a triumphant success. (The same, alas, may not be said of her dalliances with plastic surgery.)
For every Shaun Cassidy, there is a Nick Carter. For every Faith Evans a Marky Mark. Sometimes they're good for a novelty single, or even a hit album or two. But when their pop hourglass runs out, these unfortunate entertainers' legacies seem certain. When the clock strikes midnight, they turn into footnotes.
<snip>
The unluckiest of all try to pretend as if they're where they are because of who they are. Kevin Federline could have named his debut album "Britney's Husband" (or "Luckiest Guy in Showbiz" or "The Passenger") and guaranteed himself an audience. Instead, he (and by "he," I mean of course the people who wrote, produced and played the album for him) called it "Playing With Fire," a title that guarantees only that he'll be renegotiating his pre-nup before Christmas.
<snip - more at link>
K-Fed's not the only just perhaps the most reviled. ;)
Personally, I'll take the sea chanteys!

Pulled this little gem off of FaFa:
KFed’s taking desperate measures to keep his concerts from getting canned. At his Nov. 4 concert at NYC’s Webster Hall club, where only 300 fans showed up in a room that can hold 1,500, a bartender told Star, "They were going to cancel this concert, but he begged them to keep it on! He had to fight with them to keep this concert.”
Kevin was supposed to go on at 7 p.m., but, said the bartender, “he was holding things up because there weren't enough fans! He was backstage waiting for more people to show up. It was a bad idea -- he shouldn't have neglected the fans that were there.”
Kevin finally went on at about 10 p.m. -- three hours late. “He had few prepared dance moves, and seemed really confused about how to act on stage. He would pace from one side of the stage to the other, just saying things like 'Hey' 30 times in a row, or 'New York, thank you for coming -- buy my CD.'"
Kevin only rapped for a half hour, and by the last song, “only one-third of the audience had stayed until the end!” an eyewitness told Star.
Was it worth the money? An audience member told Star, "If I had a bucket, I would vomit in it right now.”

Britney sex tape lawsuit dismissed (http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Music/11/07/people.britneyspears.ap/index.html)
POSTED: 12:26 p.m. EST, November 7, 2006
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A judge has thrown out Britney Spears' lawsuit against celebrity magazine Us Weekly, ruling the pop star cannot be defamed by published rumors that she and her husband had made a sex tape and were worried about its release.
Superior Court Judge Lisa Hart Cole said Spears has "put her modern sexuality squarely, and profitably, before the public eye" and it would be unlikely for the magazine article to be found defamatory.
Her decision to dismiss the $10 million lawsuit filed last year did not address whether the October 2005 story was true or false.
"The issue is whether it is defamatory to state that a husband and wife taped themselves engaging in consensual sex," Cole wrote in the decision issued last week. "The backdrop against which this issue must be addressed is that the plaintiff has publicly portrayed herself in a sexual way in her performances, in published photographs and in a reality show." (Watch previous appearances of Spears in revealing outfits -- :46)
Spears' lawyer, Martin Singer, did not return a call Monday seeking comment.
Us said in a statement it stood by its reporting and was pleased with the decision.
The lawsuit stemmed from an article published October 17, 2005, in the magazine's "Hot Stuff" column under the headline, "Brit & Kev: Secret Sex Tape? New parents have a new worry: racy footage from 2004."
It claimed Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, feared the release of a secret sex tape, which they had viewed with their estate planning lawyers. The article said that Spears gave a copy of the tape to lawyers on September 30 and she and Federline were "acting goofy the whole time" while watching the video.
"There was no laughter, disgust or goofy behavior while watching the video in the company of lawyers because they did not watch any video, and because there is no such video," the lawsuit said.
Spears sued after Us refused to issue a retraction.
Spears, 24, married Federline, 28, in 2004. They have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son, who was born September 12. The couple have not confirmed the infant's name, which is reportedly Jayden James.
Federline has two children from a previous relationship.

I just heard on the news right now that TMZ is reporting that Brit filed for divorce??? Anyone know anything?
http://www.tmz.com/2006/11/07/britney-spears-files-for-divorce/
Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.
As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in Sept. 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees.
Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."

More details...
The latest from the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands later this week.
Friends close to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline weren't surprised that Spears filed a petition for divorce on Tuesday. Source tell Us Weekly that the couple had a final blowout last week that pushed their marriage to the breaking point. At a bash for Federline's album release at club Xenii in L.A. on October 31, the couple, say sources, had an explosive argument. While Federline worked the crowd (onstage earlier in the night he yelled, "Ladies, I love you!"), Spears was hidden away in an upstairs dressing room. Before Halloween night was officially over, the pop star, dressed in a black minidress and barefoot, made a dramatic exit. "She ran down the stairs crying and stormed out," a witness says. "Her eyes were swollen and her eyeliner was smudged. She looked like a complete mess." Federline didn't run after his wife. Matters remained unresolved by the time the couple headed east (Spears even postponed her NYC arrival by one day), and the pop star was spotted welling up in public again on November 2 while having dinner with a male friend at Library, her hotel's restaurant. "She cried on and off the whole meal," an onlooker tells Us.
With the exhilarating news that Britney Spears is making Kevin the Fed-Ex by filing for divorce, new details have emerged about their nightmarish final weekend in NYC together as a couple.
Our pals at In Touch Weekly give PerezHilton.com the all the details!
Both Britney Spears and Fed-Ex were in New York City this past weekend. However, the tempestuous twosome did not share a room. Nor did they even stay in the same hotel!
After getting to NYC one day apart on separate private jets, Britney stayed at the Regency while Kevin slept at the DoubleTree Guest Suites Times Square.
"They've grown so far apart that they sometimes go days without talking," an insider tells In Touch.
At New York's Regency Hotel, guest Britney Spears "was in The Library restaurant, sitting at a table that had been set aside for her," says an onlooker. But as the chair opposite her remained empty, "she started crying." Insiders tell In Touch she was waiting for her husband, Kevin Federline, to arrive that November 2 night -- but he never did.
Earlier that day, Kevin was overheard arguing on his cell phone. According to a family insider, the couple had a blowout over Kevin's upcoming gig at NYC nightclub Webster Hall. "Britney got mad because Kevin wouldn't allow the kids to go along with him for rehearsals," explains the insider, adding that Britney, 24, likes to have their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, with her as much as possible. But the couple seemed to have put the fight behind them -- until Kevin was a no-show at the hotel's eatery. A deeply upset Britney took drastic action. "She stayed by herself with the kids that night, and Kevin moved to a different hotel," says the insider.
But Kevin picked the wrong weekend to fight with his famous wife. The night after he stood her up, Kevin was set to launch his concert tour with a performance at NYC's Stereo nightclub, and Britney was scheduled to introduce him. But the pop princess, who has been her husband's biggest supporter, gave as good as she got -- she didn't show up at the hotspot.
Throughout the early part of the evening, "Kevin constantly scanned the room, and was checking his Sidekick," says an observer. "It seemed like he was looking for Britney." While eating a takeout meal alone at a VIP table, Kevin, 28, told In Touch that he'd been "partying all the time," during his trip to New York. He added, "I'm really tired, and it puts stress on me and I get irritable." He denied that he was having family problems, but when another guest asked how Britney and the kids were, he responded, "I don't know."
At 2 a.m., when it was clear Britney would not turn up, "Kevin performed 'Playing with Fire' and 'A League of My Own,' " says a guest. "Afterwards, there was no cheering." Later, the DJ played Britney's hit "Slave 4 U" but "Kevin sat stone-faced until he motioned for the DJ to cut the song off early," says another onlooker. The rapper left the club alone at 4 a.m.
Although Kevin was spotted back at the Regency Hotel on November 4, having seemingly reconciled with Britney, he found himself going solo for the second night in a row. His Webster Hall show drew only 70 fans -- and Britney was not among them.
Afterward, a noticeably glum Kevin dined at Corio, where even a burlesque dancer couldn't seem to cheer him up. At 2:40 a.m., Kevin was still going strong without his spouse. He stopped by Sean "Diddy" Combs' birthday party at hotspot Marquee. By November 6, Britney and Kevin were even further apart. He flew to Canada to attend a taping of Much Music, while Britney stayed behind to appear on Letterman.Source: www.perezhilton.com

PRE-NUP DETAILS:
* K-Fed won't touch a penny of Britney's money. All the millions belonging to Britney will stay that way
* The mansion will be divided 50/50.
* Any gift given worth over $10,000 will go back to the original purchaser. This includes a custom-built motorcycle Brit gave K-Fed for Christmas 2 years ago.
* She will still support him for a little while longer. Brit will pay Kevin $30,000 a month for the period of time that is half the length of their marriage. Meaning he'll be well sneakered until at least a year from now.
* Spears won't pay child support. Federline is still responsible for supporting his other two children with previous baby momma Shar Jackson. Luckily, Britney should be able to put food on the table for at least another 200,000 more years.SOURCE: http://www.bestweekever.tv/2006/11/07/sizzer-brit-k-feds-pre-nup-details/

Blame K-Fed's soaring success for Britney split
Wannabe rapper can now sell his CDs out of the trunk of his Ferrari
COMMENTARY
By Michael Ventre
MSNBC contributor

The story of “A Star Is Born” is by now familiar. A husband and wife in show business struggle to keep their union strong despite the fact that one of them finds fame and fortune while the other endures only heartache and disappointment. The most serious casualty in such a relationship isn’t a broken dream; it’s everlasting love.
I couldn’t help but gravitate toward the “A Star Is Born” model when the news broke that Britney Spears and hubby Kevin Federline are calling it quits. Obviously, the strain of astounding success juxtaposed against pathetic failure proved to be too much. Obviously, Britney just couldn’t deal with K-Fed’s meteoric rise into hip-hop royalty.
It must be brutal for Brit. One moment he’s lying around the mansion with his entourage siphoning her funds while trying to think of words that rhyme with “prenup,” then suddenly it’s all gone. No more insipid heart-to-hearts. No more unexplained late-night absences. No more pleas for career boosts. Just a big black hole where his love had been.
K-Fed’s status in the entertainment business has been massively misinterpreted, and, in turn, this breakup will appear to the unenlightened as Britney getting fed up with K-Fed.
Sure, he was booed recently during a brief appearance at the annual Halloween Carnival in West Hollywood. And he was booed at an appearance during a World Wrestling Entertainment match in L.A. And he reportedly had to plead to keep organizers from canceling a concert in a New York City club after only 300 people showed up in a room that holds 1,500. And shows at the House of Blues in Cleveland and Atlantic City were cancelled. And many in the hip-hop community reacted with derision and scorn after K-Fed performed at the Teen Choice Awards, including XXL magazine editor-in-chief Elliot Wilson, who said: “He doesn’t get that he’s Britney’s man and it’s hard to take him seriously.”
Also, there is his new CD, “Playing With Fire,” in which he raps about climbing out of obscurity in Fresno to enjoy a life of privilege and wealth as Britney’s husband. Rolling Stone’s Kevin O’Donnell called it “reprehensible,” while Entertainment Weekly’s Chris Willman gave it a grade of “F” and Stephen Thomas Erlewine of All Music Guide said, “It’s also a bore because he’s a boor.”
All of that is just jealousy. K-Fed has, above all else, street cred. The street in question might be Rodeo Drive, but still. People make such a big deal out of the fact that 50 Cent has been shot nine times. Try being K-Fed for a day. Try loading a day’s worth of shopping and 11 slacker buddies into one Rolls-Royce Phantom and then come talk to me about street cred.
Our finest hip-hop artists are where they are because they draw upon challenging life experiences and harrowing close calls to inspire their music. This is K-Fed all over. He’s a poster boy for adversity. For instance, recently he told Entertainment Weekly: “I used to be embarrassed to go to the store and buy tampons, but that’s all past tense. Once you make it through that, then you’re good.”
It’s possible that quote was taken out of context, but I don’t recall him saying that he was buying the tampons for Britney. If he wasn’t, if he was just buying them, then he is truly facing more hardship than any man should bear. Somewhere in that tragic situation is a song that, despite threats of more ridicule, demands to be written and performed before a sparse audience.
Longing for the days of wine and mooching?
Britney made a recent appearance on “Late Night With David Letterman” and looked good. She had a sassy new blond hairdo and was clad in an enticing black dress. It was only a staged cameo, a mere morsel of celebrity banter, but it gave her an opportunity to meet the public during this trying time. The folks in Dave’s audience responded favorably, bathing her in applause.
But she obviously is hurting. Reminders are everywhere. Whenever she sees a married couple sitting together in a restaurant, she’ll immediately think of Kevin, especially if the guy is making the woman pick up the check. When she attends one of the major music awards shows, she’ll hobnob with fellow superstars backstage and long for the days when Kevin was beside her, asking her for 20 bucks for cigarettes.
And somewhere out there, found on eBay or at a garage sale, a DVD copy of “Britney and Kevin: Chaotic,” their short-lived UPN reality series, will serve as a shining example of how two music-industry titans working at the peak of their artistic powers can not only co-exist but thrive in an unforgiving business. Even though the show lasted all of five episodes, was roundly thrashed by critics, and may have even hastened the eventual demise of that network.
But most of all, Britney will suffer the indignity of watching as K-Fed’s career skyrockets. No longer encumbered by the old ball and chain, he is now free to tour the world and demonstrate that he is more than just Mr. Spears.
Now he can get cancelled out of much bigger venues. He doesn’t need the Britney marketing machine; he can sell his CDs out of the trunk of the Ferrari he gets in the settlement. And if you think the music industry will shun him now that he’s no longer together with Britney, think again. In the music business, loyalty rules. Artists and executives are renowned for taking care of their own. Hip-hop artists especially will rally to K-Fed’s side and make sure he has everything he needs to keep rapping insightful observations like, “One earring costs more than your budget.”
All he needs now is a chance. And a good lawyer.
Meanwhile, Britney sits in an empty palace, taking care of her kids, no longer serenaded by the dulcet tones of hubby cursing out yet another entertainment reporter on the plasma who calls him a parasite and complaining that there’s not enough Kobe beef in the fridge to make chili.
Poor kid.

Britney/K-Fed Divorce -- Nasty Turn
Posted Nov 8th 2006 12:03AM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Break-Ups, Britney and Kevin
TMZ has learned Kevin Federline may fight for custody of his children. Federline has not had much time to react to Spears' decision to end the marriage, and that's because she didn't tell him in advance that she was filing for divorce. Federline was caught flatfooted when TMZ broke the story Tuesday that Britney filed legal papers in L.A. County Superior Court.
Spears has asked for sole custody of the couple's two small children. TMZ is told Federline is thinking of challenging that, even though Spears has functioned as the primary, if not sole parent, as Federline tours the country hawking his CD.
Federline almost certainly cannot challenge the prenup. Sources say hotshot divorce lawyer Laura Wasser drafted an air-tight prenuptial agreement before the couple married. So Federline's only chance of cashing in is by mounting an ugly custody fight, trying to force a more lucrative settlement. But friends of Spears say Britney will fight a holy war to prevent Federline from getting custody and, given his track record -- or lack of it -- with the kids, it would appear Spears has the clear advantage.

Britney Ices K-Fed
Posted Nov 7th 2006 9:01PM by TMZ Staff

Newly single and icy cool, Britney Spears took to the world famous ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center in New York tonight, in a post-filing-of-papers celebratory skate. With K-Fed in the deep freeze, she has reason to celebrate.
Brit's manager Larry Rudolph helped the blonde pop tart stay upright, while hordes of amazed tourists took pictures and watched the teen idol skate. Once Britney got her balance, she was twirling and putting on quite a show -- just two hours after news of her split was scooped by TMZ.
Just before skating, she did some damage at a local Gap store to pick up an outfit for the rink. She looked fine in her slick black pants, plunging neckline and white hat (the good guys always wear a white hat).
She had been seen earlier leaving her hotel, and dining at Italian bistro Baldoria, protected by dark glasses and a large bodyguard.

Britney Spears Files for Divorce
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 07, 2006 04:05PM EST
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 07, 2006 04:50PM EST UPDATED
Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline, PEOPLE has confirmed.
L.A. Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly tells PEOPLE, "Yes, it's confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences." TMZ.com was the first to report the filing.
Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 and have two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12.
According legal documents filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, Spears seeks custody of both boys, with Federline getting visitation rights.
Spears gives a separation date of Monday. She asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. She also requests that certain assets, including "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," be confirmed as separate property.
She and Federline, 28, both spent the weekend in New York City, but Spears did not appear at any of the events promoting Federline's new CD, Playing with Fire.
Still, on Friday night at his record release party at the Manhattan hot spot Stereo, Federline shot down rumors of strife in his marriage, telling PEOPLE, "I don't waste any energy thinking about these things. I don't get caught up in it."
But the previous week, he admitted that, because of his touring schedule, "I'm not going to see my family as much as I want to, but I mean, those are the sacrifices you make as an artist."

Britney's New Man!!!
It's ON bitches!!!!
Britney's a free woman now and she's taking her comeback very seriously.
Tuesday night, hours after announcing her intent to divorce FedEx, a strong, radiant and defiant Spears engaged in a little ice skating at New York's famed Rockefeller Plaza.
And, there was on special man holding Brit's hand as they skated. Click here to see video footage of the icy affair.
Who is that fella???
It's Larry Rudolph!!!
For those who are not Britney enthusiasts, like Perez, he is the man who MADE Spears a star.
Larry guided B's career as her manager, and - unfortunately - they parted ways a few years ago. (She fired him.)
Britney rebelled and we saw the poor choices she made on her on.
Now, it seems that Rudolph is back in her life, holding her hand every step of the way, and we expect a fierce comeback. Beginning NOW!
Welcome back Britney!!!!!!!!!!!
And, no, Larry and B are not together romantically, but they are professionally, which is much more important now.Source: Perez Hilton (http://perezhilton.com/topics/britney_spears/britneys_new_man_20061108.php)

Sorry but I have no sympathy for woman who would get involved with a man who's already involved with someone else married or not. Especially if that someone else is currently pregnant. Don't take what someone else has because you don't know what your getting.
If he will treat that woman that way what makes you think he won't do the same to you. He was with Shar for a long time did she really think he wanted her for love. It was always about the money. Britney paid better than Shar.
She wanted him she got him. No sympathy from me.
I just hope Shar slams the door in his face when he comes crawling back to her doorstep.

Wow, she looks GREAT in these- the first time I have said that in years! I hope our old Brit is coming back and Federslime is banished!
Also, Bootsy, I agree with you 110%. No sympathy for her here about how shes lived in the past two years.

I did the happy dance when I heard!! :o See ya around, Federslime! I do have a feeling that this one is going to get very ugly very fast. K-Fed is gonna do everything in his power to smear her. Of course, without Brit, I think his 'power' is pretty darn limited!
GOOD RIDDANCE! (too bad it took this long, but oh well.)
Oh, and the Youtube video is freakin' priceless! One minute talking about how Brit is his number-one fan and together they will "take over the world", the next minute he's getting the news via text that Brit filed for divorce. Love it!!:D :D

Ugh...I keep hearing grumblings that this is all a publicity stunt for Federslime's new album! I hope that is not the case and Brit really has come to her senses.
Out of the many emails I got about Britney’s divorce to KFed, this one was very interesting. It comes from someone that claims they are close to the Britney camp. I’m going to take it at face value, but what they say makes complete sense:
MK – Don’t believe the Britney divorce. I’m sort of in with her circle of friends and I know for a fact she’s not going to leave him. She’s just doing this to scare him and gain some sympathy votes from the media. She went on Letterman, cause Kevin thought she was at the hotel crying over him. She is using the divorce to scare him. They are already talking to each other and texting all the time on their mobiles. She always threatened divorce on him and he never believed her. She’s hoping he will change his ways. I think she also knows that this can change her image and is using it. They will get back together. Shit, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are already back together.
See, I think it may be more of a PR move. Homegirl, saw how much positive attention Whitney Houston got and thought she’d join in the fun. Does she have an album coming out soon? I won’t believe it until the divorce is FINAL.Source: dlisted (http://dlisted.com/2006/11/07/rumorz-is-this-britney-divorce-thing-fake/)
I tend not to believe what random people write in to gossip sites. Let's hope this rumor is just someone making up a story to get it posted online!

More divorce details...
Britney's Timing: Was It All About the Prenup?
Britney Spears didn’t pick November 6 as the day to file for divorce from Kevin Federline by accident.
She filed two years and one month from the day of her marriage, on Oct. 6, 2004. Her prenup, according to legal theorists, evidently carried increases for Federline for every year of their marriage. And those deadlines, they say, likely had 30-day grace periods.
Hence, Nov. 6 would have been Britney's last chance to get out of paying a third year of alimony settlement to a basically talentless slacker who was a drain on her finances.
And in the end, money is probably what Spears’ divorce is all about. Since she deliberately showed off a new trim body on David Letterman’s show the other night, Spears is obviously getting ready to go back to work. If a new album and tour are on the boards, Spears obviously doesn't want to share the proceeds with Federline. It was clearly better to get out now, so that K-Fed can lay claim to only half of Spears’ earnings during what has been the most fallow period in her career.
Indeed, Spears has no doubt been feeling the pinch of diminished income since she met Federline and had quickly had two children with him. The one thing she’s been unable to do is tour, and that’s really where she makes her bread and butter.
Spears has never been a huge recording artist. She hasn’t released an album of new material since 2003, and it’s hard to say whether there’s an audience out there to buy a new album.
Her biggest hits occurred some time ago, between 1999 and 2001, when "Baby One More Time" and "Oops I Did It Again" caused sensations. But Spears didn’t write those songs, and she doesn’t get a publishing royalty for any of her few big hits. That has no doubt hurt her pocketbook, since sales of her albums are long since finished.
Without touring, and getting paid for commercial endorsements, Spears doesn’t have much of a profitable career these days. Add in two kids, a husband with expensive tastes who doesn’t earn money, various family members and employees, and Spears could be facing Michael Jackson type financial problems. Offloading Federline, even with a prenup, is probably the first best thing she can do to cut expenses.
Spears, by the way, also has her name on a charitable foundation. But Nina Biggar, director of the Cambridge, Mass.-based Britney Spears Foundation, didn’t even know Spears had filed for divorce when I called her yesterday. She told me that the organization had given away almost $2 million in its short life, including $800,000 to the Twin Towers Fund.
The charity is entirely funded by Spears, but Biggar told me that this past year’s contribution was lower than the one before. This doesn’t reflect lack of interest on Spears’ part, but just lack of funds. Once K-Fed is off the payroll, Britney will be able to afford a return to her charitable activities.Source: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,228107,00.html

Yeah, this is why you don't marry someone you barely know and then immediately have 2 children with him. And I totally agree that you get what you have coming to you when you marry someone who left his pregnant girlfriend for you. What moron actually thinks that they can change someone like that?
The kids will clearly be better off now anyway. They are too little to remember this and hopefully she can now try to provide somewhat of a reasonable life for them. Let's hope so!

I'm only speculating but I think she got pregnant so fast in an attempt to make sure she had a connection with him like Shar did. Stupid reason to have a kid. That trick never works anyway.
No sympathy for her but loads for all the kids. Hopefully Shar and Britney can form some kind of relationship for the kids sake. I'd really like them to grow up knowing each other as sister and brothers.

I don't think its a publicity stunt. I think its for real. Besides, wasn't it widely reported that Brit had a total breakdown when she found out she was pregnant again? I think she had been planning on filing right around that time, but decided to wait till she had baby #2 before moving forward with it. The press would have had a field day with her (not that they didn't anyway) if she had filed for divorce while pregnant.

They had the showy "wedding" (the one with the pictures we've all seen) on Sept 18. There was no prenup at that time, nor a marriage license. Her people wanted her to get a prenup, and that September ceremony was not legally binding.

That's what I thought also....they had the ceremony in Sept., but didn't get the marriage license until October.

Wikipedia puts the wedding date as September 18th 2004. The article also mentions the marriage license issue, but it seems to imply that the marriage ceremony was pronounced legally binding after the fact, and it doesn’t mention them doing another ceremony for legal purposes

Fed up
Just before Britney filed for divorce, Kevin Federline talked to Salon about how he "would've probably blown up huge by now" if he had never married, and why her fans would rather she was with an "all-American boy."
By David Marchese
Nov. 08, 2006 | Just a few days before his very famous wife announced to the world that she was filing for divorce because of "irreconcilable differences," paparazzi punching bag Kevin Federline sat down and talked to Salon about his fledgling recording career, which officially launched last week with the release "Playing With Fire." The album -- which features the 28-year-old Federline rapping, primarily about his love of weed and his woman -- immediately received some of the year's most scathing reviews; Rolling Stone called it "reprehensible'' and "poison." Federline also had to deal with the cancellation of some concerts, reportedly due to low ticket sales.
But still, Federline seemed relaxed last Friday night, happy to talk about his new musical career and the scorn it's received. And while we were asked by his publicist not to bring up his better-known half, he brought her up before we he had a chance, speaking openly about why he thought the public didn't embrace him as Mr. Britney Spears. "They saw this street kid. The world doesn't want that for Britney Spears. That's their queen," he said. "They don't want some dude that looks like a hoodlum ... They want her to be with the all-American boy."
Federline spoke to Salon while nursing a drink at the nightclub Stereo.
So the reviews were pretty harsh.
I expected that. That's what they do. That's what they've been doing to me from the beginning, and eventually my spirit will shine through that. People will see my passion for this. It's slow and it's not an easy road, but I don't like taking the easy road. I'm all about hard work and really proving myself -- especially to the hip-hop community.
Would it have been easier if you weren't famous?
Probably. I think it definitely could've been. If people didn't know who I was, a couple of the records that I've thrown out would've probably blown up huge by now. It would've just come out of nowhere -- people wouldn't know what to expect.
I think the fact that I got a lot of stuff built up behind me, you know, I gotta kinda battle that. But at the same time I'm really learning that I don't have to battle that. What I gotta do is get my ass out and go walk around these streets and talk to people because that's what's gonna get it done.
Have you had a chance to talk to people yet?
Yeah, man. I been out in New York all over the place, dude. I love it. You can't keep me off the streets out here, dude! That's when the old Federline comes back in -- the dude from Fresno that people don't know about. I'll go walk through every 'hood out here -- I don't care -- and show everybody how real I am. It's a lot of support. It's crazy because you see all the stuff in the tabloids and you read about me, but then when I go and get in people's faces, everybody's like, "Don't let them hold you down" and "Don't let them hate on you."
I really think this album has the potential of going from the bottom of the barrel first week to selling a million, 2 million. It really does. The industry hasn't seen that in such a long time. Everybody's so worried about first week, first week, first week -- make it or break it. I'm going to tell you right now, my first week might not be shit, and they might come out and say that my album bombed, but then the second week I'm going to sell more than my first week, and the third week I'm going to sell more than my second week. That's the climb, and it's gonna happen. I already see it happening.
Through word of mouth?
Very much so. It's good. I just went to the radio with [radio DJ] DJ Clue and gave him the record -- he hasn't heard any of the music at all -- so I think he's really gonna be inspired. That's what it is -- I need to get with artists on that level. I need to get with people in the industry and let it be heard, because radio ain't really trying to play it too much. It's gonna be about word of mouth, man. It's gonna be about people picking it up, listening to it, talking about it, going to their friends and telling them, "You know what?" And it's already happening. Yeah, the critics and whoever -- who is a critic? You know what I'm saying? Who deserves to be a critic?
What happened to "Popozao"?
I cut it. I axed that out of there. If you heard the album, then you realize that "Popozao" doesn't fit in the category of what I was trying to do with this album. Maybe it will on another album or anything, but it's already out. "Popozao" had its time. It's on iTunes if people wanna pick that up, go ahead. I'm focused on the new album and what I'm about to do with it. I'm not going to stop promotion, and I'm not gonna stop anything just because people are telling other people or critics are telling people ... Give me a star, give me a quarter of a star -- shit, **** that, don't give me any stars. I don't care. That's the motivation I need to keep moving my shit. Move units, dude. Even if I gotta go out and sell 'em myself.
The Kevin Federline that's on the album -- how close is that to the real Kevin Federline? How much of it is a character you're creating for the record?
Actually, it's all Kevin Federline. It's all my reaction. Everything I'm talking about on there, either I've been through it or I'm experiencing it right now. I stay as real as I can. These days that's pretty upfront and blunt in people's face. I'm not afraid to tell people what I think. I get a little bit nervous here and there when I'm going into the radio stations with the big dogs and coming out to New York -- it's been a stress on my spirit. It's been crazy. You get in the radio station and people wanna talk all that gossip shit but at the same time they don't give a damn where I came from because they don't really know me. All they know me as is Britney Spears' husband.
The questions about me and my wife are getting less and less and less and less. To the point where we were on the radio today and Clue was like, "Your buzz is bigger than your wife's right now. That's real. They ****in' talk about you more than they do about anybody." So, I'm doing something right. Even if they're saying it and trying to hate or whatever. Haters motivate.
To a certain extent you invite questions about your family by talking about it so much on the record.
Not really. I spoke on there because it's been out there so much; because I don't have a choice. If I had a choice I would keep my family just completely away from everything. But that's not the way it is. My family is talked about, and my family is judged, and people in my family are judged, and I'm judged. It's not right, but at the same time it's fine because it's the ammunition that I used for this album. This is my foot in the door in telling people that I'm standing up for myself, I'm standing up for my wife, I'm standing up for my kids. Go ahead and keep messing with us, and that's fine. This is my shot at you. I'm not going to do it too much anymore. The rest of my music is going the universal route. I think that's where I'm going to win.
Why do you think it is that a lot of people have a negative reaction to you?
I think the media played a big part of that. I think the beginning of my introduction to the world was not the greatest. When people first saw me and first heard about it, and it became global news ... within one week almost the whole world knew who I was. Within one week. So, you really have to look at that and take into perspective that the first light that you're shown is like them judging a book by a cover. That's all they've seen -- the cover of the book. They haven't really thought past that or tried to look past that.
What do you think they saw on the cover?
They saw this dude. They saw this street kid. The world doesn't want that for Britney Spears. That's their queen. They don't want some dude that looks like a hoodlum -- baggy pants and wearing his T-shirt all baggy and hat crooked, tilted to the side. They don't wanna see that shit, and that's why they hate me. They want her to be with the all-American boy. I think that's really what it is.
You said it yourself, in the space of one week your life changed. How did that affect you?
At the time it was great, because I didn't pay attention to it. It helped me out all the way through to where I am right now, because I didn't pay any attention to it, because I was falling in love with this girl. I didn't see her as Britney Spears. People look at her and there's fans and there's "Oh my god, celebrity" and all that. I was never the guy that was star-struck. I've never been that person. I've never been the person that was, "Oh let me have your autograph and let me have your picture." That's not me. Not since I moved to L.A. eight years ago and started dancing for all these artists. I've never been that way. I brought the real dude and she fell in love with that, and I fell in love with her for the country girl that she is. I look past all the other stuff. I don't care about your money. I don't care about your fame. I don't care about any of that,
The watch you're wearing is worth more money than I've made in the last five years.
That's my baby. Whenever I made some money that's the first thing I went and bought. Continued below...

Continued from above...
So there are certain aspects of the lifestyle you probably enjoy.
Of course, of course. I have my fetishes like everybody else does. My shoes -- my kick game is ridiculous.
How many shoes do you have?
Probably like 80 to 100 pairs. My watch game is ridiculous -- just jewelry in general. It's an investment. I bought this [points to his watch], and it's already gone up in value. All the jewelry I'm wearing has already gone up in value.
You're not planning on selling it anytime soon are you?
Hell no. I ain't getting rid of it. I'm going to go out and get some more. It's great to be able to go and do that stuff, but you really sit back and think about it ... You could have all the money in the world and within two months of having that ... Say you hit the lotto, right? Two months of having that money, you go and buy a mansion, you buy a big-ass boat, you travel all around the world, you do everything in two months. That's not gonna buy you happiness. That's not gonna define who I am. It only goes so far. There's something way beyond that that's deep that I have with my wife that nobody will ever understand.
So let's say somebody says you release this rap album, but you're on the level of [underground rapper] Hi-Tek or somebody like that who's not actually selling a lot of albums or living the life you're living.
That doesn't matter. If somebody compared me to somebody like that -- I look up to people like that. Backpackers, underground music is great. I'm not doing this for the money. I already have money. If people think I'm doing this for the money, they got to sit back and look at, like ... what the **** do I care about money right now? I'm doing it because this is what I love to do. This is a piece of my heart right here. I'm trying to share that with the world. I don't think they're accepting to it too much because they take it as bragging and shit talking and just a cocky arrogance. It's not that at all.
What's the last book you read?
Last book I read was either -- man, somebody just asked me this shit today -- it was either Russell Simmons' or Puffy's book. I'm really studying people who have been in this business and people who have really made themselves into a business from nothing because basically that's ... you see the watch and you see the jewelry and even though, yeah, I do have money, in a sense, I act like I really don't. Right now the way I look at it is that I'm broke and I'm struggling to get this shit off.

Sheesh...it seems like more details on the divorce are being released by the second!!!
Britney Beat K-Fed to the Punch
We are still mourning the sad news about Reese and Ryan's split but at the same time we are elated about the Britney news. We love that she filed for divorce leaving K-Fed behind, and now we're hearing that K-Fed was planning to divorce Britney too. Apparently Kevin has been secretly meeting with lawyers since May and was even planning on using Sean P as leverage, but Brit beat him to it. L&S reports:
“Kevin is focused on his tour,” says an insider. “I don’t think he was prepared for this.” When contacted by Life & Style, Kevin’s rep seemed to have no idea that Britney had filed divorce papers. In fact, insiders say Kevin was preparing a divorce bombshell of his own.
As early as last May, Kevin, 28, began secretly meeting with his lawyer, Mark Kaplan, to work out a settlement deal with Britney, 24. Kevin was prepared to use their son, Sean Preston, now 1, as leverage: If Britney didn’t give Kevin $10 million, plus their $10 million Malibu mansion, he would sue her for custody, claims an insider. “Kevin knows that Sean is Britney’s Achilles’ heel,” an insider says.
But the couple stayed together through the birth of their second son, Jayden James, now 2 months. Yet Life & Style knows that Kevin recently went back to his lawyer for more secret divorce talks — and this time, he had two babies to use as pawns. He was hoping to score a $30 million payday.
“He feels like $10 million is not a generous amount if he and Britney split since he won’t have any part of his sons’ lives,” says an insider.
But Britney was too quick for him. While Kevin was caught up with his troubled album-release tour, she filed papers of her own asking for legal and physical custody of Sean and Jayden — before the couple reached any kind of deal.
“There was no way she was going to let Kevin lead the way on this subject,” says a close friend of Kevin’s. “She filed first to save face. It’s all about taking care of the babies and keeping the money.”
And Brit’s prenup should be airtight. According to the prenup, Kevin will receive $300,000, any gifts Britney bought him that cost less than $10,000 and half the value of their $10 million Malibu mansion.
You go girl! Can you imagine if Kevin had slapped the papers on Brit first? And if he was really planning to use Sean P as leverage, he's just a total jerk who deserves to be kicked to the curb. Let the K-Fed backlash begin.

I heard the funniest song this morning on the radio! It was 'Brit' singing - This marriage was killing me....and it was so funny talking about how he was ruining her image and how it took her having 2 kids to see. I wish I could find the lyrics or the song to link to because it was so funny and I can't remember the words.

It's great to be able to go and do that stuff, but you really sit back and think about it ..
Guess the jewelry shopping plans are on an indefinite hold now, huh, Federslime?? :p
1) why the hell does he keep referring to his wife as Britney SPEARS. Would we not know who his wife was if he just called her Britney or "my wife"?!?!
2) what makes him think he'll get more than what the prenup outlines? Hello, he SIGNED the damn thing, did he not get what you were in for?!?!

I love him trying to answer the question about the last book he read. Clearly, he has never read a WHOLE BOOK. It's so obvious he was just trying to make something up.
And what a loser, bragging about his jewelry.

Even with the prenup, I'm sure this guy will get/has gotten more money than most of us have seen in our lifetime. Whether he'll use it wisely is another question.

I heard rumors she could be hooking up with Nick Lachey. I just heard it on the radio though, no source.

I heard rumors she could be hooking up with Nick Lachey. I just heard it on the radio though, no source. I REALLY doubt that is true. I just don't see Nick giving her the time of day. He just seems to be on another level than Britney as far as class goes, IMO. It might be different if we were talking about the pre Kfed Britney (like in her Justin Timberlake days), but I doubt somebody like Nick would want to get caught up in all that drama.

This is great news. Britney needs to get away from Federslime. But, I can't help but wonder if this will be the end of her troubles. SHE was the one that drove with Sean Preston on her lap. SHE was the one that drove in the convertible with SP in the backseat. SHE was the one who did the horrible interview with Matt Lauer. SHE was the one that went into the gas stations barefoot, etc.
Don't get me wrong, the kids will be better off with her. They all will be better off away from him. Unless she has accepted that she needs someone to handle all aspects of her career, we will see more Britney faux pas.

It makes me sick that this man (and I'm using the word loosely) has sired four children but is not, and probably never will be, responsible for them at all. His youngest two are actually his meal tickets going forward.

Using his kids as leverage to squeeze money out of her is just repulsive. However, I expect no less from The World's Biggest Douche.

Leno: Spears, voters decided to throw the bums out (http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articles/1108Leno-Spears-ON.html)
Associated Press

BURBANK, Calif. - Jay Leno says the voters and Britney Spears have something in common - they decided to throw the bums out.
Leno's joke about Britney Spears divorce filing was apparently news to many in the "Tonight Show" audience, which tapes in the late afternoon West Coast time.
On Tuesday, Spears filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Leno says the divorce papers mean Britney has heard K-Fed's rap album.

K-Fed Cheated on Britney with PARIS!
The rumor I'm now hearing is that K-Fed hooked up with PARIS HILTON and Shanna Moakler found out and told Britney.
I'm just telling you what I heard.
If it's true... That's low, even for Paris.
Doubt this is true. I REALLY hope even Paris wouldn't go there

OMG! That rumour would be HILARIOUS if true...(and believable) that fedex would cheat on Britney with Paris...in fact...didn't we predict it would happen in this very thread?
Hey...Kevo cheated on PG Shar with Britney...no offense Brit, but did you think he wouldn't do it to you?
I agree...it seems low for Paris...maybe she was *extra* sloshed.

From www.perezhilton.com ...
Calling it a dissapointment would be an understatement!
Kevin Federline's new album, Playing With Fire, debuted on the U.S. album charts at #151 with around 6,000 copies sold.
Subtract the 4,000 copies FedEx bought with Britney's money the first week, and then you have the true sales figures!
Rosie O Donnell's reaction to the news:

Ok, the Rosie link was great...... but it lead to another link, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how we missed this spoof..... or was it me that missed it?
Anyway, hopefully things like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTO3dlEZQ-0&NR) will now be a thing of the PAST!

I was listening to the radio on my way home from the grocery store tonight and heard that Kfed released a sex tape of him and Britney.....can anyone confirm this????
If its true...what a dickhead - and she's even more stupid than we thought to actually film herself. Duh.

He wants sole custody!!!!
Kevin Federline Seeks Custody of Kids
In the surprisingly quick reply, Federline, like Spears, has made a claim for sole custody of their kids, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James (born Sept. 12).
"It's not that unusual, but if you want to send a message that you want to be amicable, (both parties) would seek joint custody," says Lynn Soodik, an L.A. family law specialist.
"That he's seeking sole custody leads me to believe they're heading to a costly battle over the kids," she adds.
Federline also asks for spousal support.
According to a statement from his lawyers: "Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals."
In coming days, Federline and his lawyer will have to decide whether to contest the couple's prenuptial agreement, as well as negotiate a temporary support and custody arraignment.
Reps for both sides had no comment.Source: People.com (http://people.aol.com/people/article/0,26334,1556996,00.html)

He wants sole custody!!!!
What an f-er! I had read somewhere that such a move would get him more money in the end. I'm sure that is why he's doing -- goodness knows he doesn't really want the kids.

Federline also asks for spousal support.
Ummmm.......wouldn't that be child support in his case? :p
What a jerk to want sole custody of those kids!! Granted, Britney isn't the best parent out there (who is?), but those kids are so much better off with her than him!!
