TTC after D&C

I had a m/c and D&C at 9 weeks. My OB recommended waiting two AF cycles to start TTC again. She said waiting two cycles gives the uterine lining time to build up again. I've heard conflicting views on waiting and I'm impatient :rolleyes: . Has anyone had a successful pg after TTC after just one AF???

I have a friend who got successfully pregnant only one cycle after her m/c. Opinios vary on how long to wait. At the hospital they told me to wait three cycles but my obgyn was fine with TTC after the first AF. That´s what I did. A control ultrasound showed that my lining was fine on CD 13. Not that I got pregnant anyway. :rolleyes:

My Dr told me to wait one cycle. I ended up waiting more because I wasn't emotionally ready yet. I think every Dr has a different opinion on this.

I was told to wait at least 1 cycle so my lining could build back up. That worked out fine mainly b/c of emotional reasons as I wasn't ready to jump back in to it right away.

I had a m/c and D&C at 11 weeks and I don't remember what my doctor told me about waiting. I got pg again after my first AF (so conception occurred ~6 weeks after my D&C) and now have a beautiful healthy 8 month DS.
