Eschewing her publicist for her MySpace page, Shanna Moakler has issued a statement thanking her fans for all their well wishes following the news Tuesday of the demise of her marriage to blink-182's Travis Barker.

TMZ has verified the authenticity of her MySpace page and the post where the "Meet the Barkers" star writes, "I am very devestated [sic] and very much heartbroken over the demise of my marriage and for the upset of my family....I wanted nothing more to overcome the challenges we faced but failed."

Moakler, who has two children with Barker and one from her previous relationship with Oscar de la Hoya, has no regrets and adds, "I still very much believe in the power of love."

The former Miss USA thanks her fans for their kind words and reveals, "in this time please know i do read your letters but i am sorry if i cant [sic] respond."

After her husband, Travis Barker, filed for divorce on Monday, Shanna Moakler is telling fans she still believes in "the power of love" but is "heartbroken over the demise of my marriage."

In a message posted on her MySpace.com blog on Tuesday, where she lists her "current mood" as "disappointed," the former Miss USA writes, "I can only say thank you to all those who have sent such touching letters, well wishes and prayers. I am very devastated and very much heartbroken over the demise of my marriage and for the upset of my family." (The message's authenticity was confirmed by Moakler's publicist.)

Her post continues, "I wanted nothing more (than) to overcome the challenges we faced but failed. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I have complete faith in the heavens … I can honestly say I have been truly blessed with great family and friends and of course my children who are the main focus of my concern.

"I still very much believe in the power of love … I look back with no regrets and feel blessed for my experience and look forward with an open mind … I am very sad but it is remarkable to see the outpouring of support I have been offered … again thank you for all your letters and kind words. In this time please know I do read your letters but I am sorry if I can't respond.

Moakler, 31, and Barker, 30, who costarred in the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers, would have celebrated their two-year anniversary on Oct. 30. They have two children, son Landon, 2, and daughter Alabama, 7 months.

Before marrying Barker, a drummer for blink-182 and the Transplants, Moakler was engaged to boxer Oscar de la Hoya, with whom she has a daughter, Atiana, 7. Moakler and De la Hoya split in 2000, and she dated Dennis Quaid for eight months in 2001.

In 2001, Barker married psychology student Melissa Kennedy. They divorced in August 2002.

EXACTLY! I don't care HOW MUCH MONEY you have. If you are fortuante enough to stay at home and have whatever you want given to you. At least do your part i.e. CLEAN, COOK, Take care of your own kids that you are so anxious to bring into this world. Shanna did come across as extremely lazy and a big spender! But then again she could have just been portrayed that way. Who knows. :confused:

Ok I never saw the show but I've read about Shanna during the Oscar debacle. She's definitely not what I'd expect from a Miss USA (at least the ones before and after her are sorta goody goody).

Shanna does remind me of white trash (not to be judgmental but she does look like she fell out of the Britney wagon). Does any one know what state she represented?

I guess i am in the minority here but, I really liked their relationship together... they seemed much more real than Nick and Jessica in their show. I think that Travis was a jerk to her in many of the comments he made and I think she was protrayed in a negative light by MTV... she seemed so thoughtful and supportive of Travis and was pretty much at his beck and call...from what I could tell. I think it really sucks that they couldn't make it work...esp. for the kids sake.

Were we watching the same show? I have not been following along and just saw that they split, but remember a few months back in Us Weekly (in the section where they have celeb sightings) that they were both spotted in a club (not together) and Shana had walked up to Travis and poured a drink over his head. That made me think that they were going through some rocky times.

If anything, I find it really sad for the kids.

We didn't watch a single episode of their MTV reality show, but we'd definitely tune in now if they were filming the divorce!!!

Things between Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, and his former beauty pageant wife, Shanna Moakler, have gone from bad to worse to Hoff-nian divorce territory.

Following months of public fighting and reports on their strained relationship, the former couple are now talking trash and throwing accusations at each other in the media.

We can't get enough of this shit! It's like a buffet that's cheap and nasty and gives you gas but you still eat way too much!

Sources close to Barker have been speaking to the press, saying, "Shanna is never home...She parties every night, sleeps until 1 p.m. every day, and doesn't spend nearly enough time with the kids. And on top of that there have been rumors she hasn't been faithful. He's had it."

Barker, via a rep, confirmed that his wife likes to spread her legs (a lot). He said, "I'm sad to say those allegations are true ...My priority will remain my children."

Moakler, however, is fighting mad and will not have her reputation impugned!

"I have been 100 percent faithful in my marriage and a devoted mother, two facts of which Travis is well aware," she countered, through her publicist. "I still happen to be very much in love with Travis, and his using the media to take low blows at me isn't just embarrassing, it's hurtful. I feel he should be putting his family first instead of his pride."

To which Barker responded, "The truth will prevail."

Expect a MySpace blog about this from Shanna or Travis to write a song about the whole situation real soon.

What was love, now is lost between former MTV reality show stars Travis Barker and his soon-to-be ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

The pair have been feuding publicly for months - even getting into heated fights out in clubs - and now they've gone into full on War of the Roses mode, attacking each other through the media. And, in the era of celebrity blogging, they are using the Internet to fight back!

This time, Travis is taking aim and he's fired a shot straight through Moakler's heart.

- During the hours from2pm-5pm im @ my $tudio working on the 44 record(my new band) in studio A and in B i produce trax for TOO- SHORT,B-REAL, PAUL WALL, TI, SKINHEAD ROB...it's my passion, music is everything to me.

- Round 6pm i have dinner wit the babies and my nanny, (SHANNA IS M.I.A. NOTE TO SELF....SHE IS NOT AT WORK..SHE WORKED 6 TIMES IN THE LAST 4 YEARS, ROUND 8PM I USUALLY RECIEVE A TEXT SAYING SHE'S GOING OUT TO DINNER)

The Barkers Meet MySpace

Maybe Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler just need their space. Make that their MySpace.

On the heels of news that Barker had filed for divorce last week after less than two years of marriage, Moakler headed to her personal page on the social networking site to air her feelings on the split for her fans.

"I am very devastated and very much heartbroken over the demise of my marriage and for the upset of my family," the former Miss USA wrote.

This week, the Blink-182 drummer fired back in a posting on his own MySpace page, offering his version of reality within his household, as opposed to the version captured by MTV.

In the scathing blog entry, Barker claimed that on a typical day, he would get up with his children at around 5:30 a.m. Moakler, on the other hand, stayed in bed until around 2 p.m. and was frequently out late partying, said Barker. He added that the couple's kids often referred to their nanny as "Mommy."
Barker also claimed that Moakler had neglected to mention that she would be competing on the third season of Dancing with the Stars or that she had a MySpace page.

"I was informed by our realtor that Shanna was doing Dancing with the Stars? Why wouldn't she tell me, right?" he wrote. "A MySpace account? Where she posts pix of our kids and her and I half naked? Weird?"

However, Barker's true breaking point came when he discovered condoms in their home, according to his posting.

"We don't use condoms ever," he wrote, insinuating that his wife had been unfaithful, a claim he also made to the New York Post.

"I'm sad to say those allegations [of infidelity] are true," Barker told the paper via a rep. "My priority will remain my children."

Moakler responded to Barker's accusations through her publicist.

"I have been 100 percent faithful in my marriage and a devoted mother, two facts of which Travis is well aware. I still happen to be very much in love with Travis, and his using the media to take low blows at me isn't just embarrassing, it's hurtful.

"I feel he should be putting his family first instead of his pride."

She also lashed out at Barker's MySpace posting, calling it "far-fetched" and claiming she was concerned for his sanity.

"If that MySpace site was truly created by Travis, then I'm seriously concerned for his mental well being," Moakler told TMZ.com on Tuesday. "The picture he paints is so far-fetched that I can't believe this is his reality. If it is, then I'm truly concerned for him. Perhaps the lifestyle he leads is taking its toll on him. For the sake of our children, I hope that he seeks professional help."

Rather than responding in kind, Barker apparently chose to remove his rant from his MySpace page Tuesday without further comment or explanation.

We're guessing a divorce court will be the next to meet the Barkers.

Awe Melissa, She was a friend of a friend back when Travis was in Aquabats we met, she was really cute but really young. Maybe 14 or 15? They were together for years before they got married at the Mission Inn. I heard that they broke up because she changed the day they got married. Gold digger type and ended up doing the same think Shanna is doing partying it up while he's on tour and working.

Last month, Shanna Moakler's husband and Meet the Barkers costar Travis Barker filed for divorce, charging that the former Miss U.S.A. had cheated on him and neglected their kids.

But Moakler, 30, tells PEOPLE in its new issue that she's a good mom to daughter Alabama, 9 months, son Landon, 2, and Atiana, 7, her daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya. "I'm very active in making sure my children are well-adjusted and balanced," she says.

She also says she was never unfaithful to her husband. (Barker's rep tells PEOPLE, "Travis stands by his previous interview. He continues to love Shanna and wants the best for their children.") Here, she talks about what went wrong – and why things are looking up.

PEOPLE: How are you doing? Has the anger subsided?
MOAKLER: I've been better. I've had a rough year. I'm past anger. I'm sad, very disappointed, but I'm trying to stay positive for numerous reasons.

How are the divorce proceedings going?
The public will be very happy to know that we have a pre-nup! So I'm not stealing his money or gold digging. I have no problem sharing the children with him and I want that very much. I don't see it getting ugly.

Take me through a day in your life as a mother.
Contrary to what you've read, it does not consist of me sleeping all day. My nanny usually leaves around 6 p.m. I take my kids I give them a bath, I put them to bed. Alabama gets up at midnight and she gets up at four in the morning, and Landon gets up to pee all the time in the middle of the night because he's only two and a half. I never have a straight hour of sleep. When Travis was here, I would give him the babies at 6 a.m. Our nanny comes in at 8 a.m.

So what do you think went wrong in your marriage?
The problem with my marriage is that I never felt like an equal. When I fall in love, I think I sacrifice a great deal of myself and my personality and my work.

When did your relationship take a turn for the worse?
About six months ago it got really bad. I think what happened was that he was surrounded by a lot of really bad people. When you have a lot of people kissing your butt all day, and then you come home to the big negative all the time, after a while it takes its toll.

Travis said there were innate personality differences between the two of you.
We're definitely two different people. Travis is a morning person; I'm a night person. Travis, believe it or not, is a bit more quiet and reserved. I'm more of an extrovert, a social butterfly.

You tried therapy. Did that work at all for you?
I don't feel like we tried therapy. I feel like we went to maybe one or two sessions and I don't feel like 100 percent was given to that.

Did he ever question you about infidelity?
Well in the press he has, but to me he never did. I feel like all the things that he said were just excuses for abandoning his family. And I can say on the record that I was 100 percent faithful to that man. I was in love with him.

What have you learned from the situation?
God, it's so hard. I wish I had that answer. My two past relationships have failed miserably and they've really been identical in the way that they began and ended. So I don't know, I'm still in that confused state.

Would you ever date a celebrity again?
Yeah, I would. I'll date anyone. I'd like to think that I will do it different next time, but I probably won't because I'll be in love and love is blind. For me right now, I don't ever want to be in a relationship ever again.

Nick and Jessica and Carmen and Dave split after having reality shows about their relationships. Do you believe in the MTV curse?
I don't believe in the curse. Nope. I don't think the reality show had anything to do with the demise of our relationship.

You must not be turned off of reality TV, since you're doing Dancing With the Stars.
I really feel like it was divine intervention, that God was like, 'Okay babe. These doors are going to close, (so) I'm going to open some of these doors for you.' It has really helped keep my mind off of things and really helped me be positive.

Hahah I was asking myself... "did I miss something?"

I know the majority of us work a 9 to 5 and we have nannies, of day care etc. but my question is does she have a 9 to 5? If so what? What does she do? She could have at least said... I spend every extra moment I have with my children, what activites she does etc. If she wanted to get into detail. :rolleyes:

Shanna was on the radio this morning promoting dancing with the stars and you can tell she was going out of her way to NOT say anything bad about Travis. Also called it way out of his character to bad mouth her in the press. etc. I am not sure who to believe. I feel so sorry for those children!

After a long night of Fashion Week after-parties, Hilton and Barker headed to exclusive hotspot Marquee, and took up residence in one of the club's banquettes. Despite the considerable racket around them, Paris and Travis talked intently with one another, and then engaged in a long, intense kiss, oblivious to the pulsing throngs. Some time after their lip-lock, Paris checks her mobile device and decides that she's got other places to be, leaving Travis behind.

TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler have both filed police reports early Wednesday morning, alleging each was attacked. Paris says Moakler socked her in the jaw. Moakler claims Paris' ex shoved her down some stairs.

Elliot Mintz, Paris' publicist, tells TMZ that his client was at Hyde nightclub Wednesday night and at approximately 1:10 a.m. she says she was approached by Shanna, who allegedly began screaming obscenities at her. Hilton says at that point Moakler struck her in the jaw with a closed fist as she continued to shout profanities. Mintz says Moakler was restrained and several people helped Paris exit Hyde. Mintz says Hilton never touched Moakler.

Mintz and Hilton then went to the LAPD's Hollywood Division where she filed a police report, alleging battery.

Shanna Moakler: Click to watchWe're told Moakler also went to the station to file a report against Paris' companion that evening, Stavros Niarchos, alleging that he poured a drink over her head. A source tells TMZ that Moakler alleges that Niarchos shoved her down some stairs.

We're told police took photos of both women at the station, though it's unclear if either showed visible signs of injury.
Paris at her bestMintz told TMZ, "I would encourage Paris, with the consent of her attorney, to seek a restraining order against Moakler to prevent any escalation of this irrational and dangerous behavior."

We're told some of the dancers from "Dancing with the Stars" witnessed the incident. Moakler was a contestant on the show but has already been eliminated from the competition.

Sources tell TMZ the bad blood between Hilton and Moakler is over Hilton's friendship with Travis Barker, Moakler's estranged husband. Shanna Moakler's galleryA source in Paris' camp claims Moakler recently left "menacing" phone messages on Hilton's answering machine.

I sympathize with Shanna in this case, because Paris is a starf*cker to the Nth degree. Hello, the ink isn't even dry on the divorce papers, and he's got an infant daughter not even a year old. Gross. I understand going after the single and about-to-be-very-rich Matt Leinart with a butterfly net. However, I don't really get Paris's urgency on this one.
