I had a c-section 2.5 years ago and I still have some numbness by my incision. My sister had one 11 years ago and she said it was normal.

Its not total numbness just some days you get this tingly feeling when you touch the area. its very wierd.

I cant remember when my numbness stopped but I believe it was a few months. I am now almost a year PP and have no numbness at all.

My c-sections were in April 2005 and March 2007. I don't have any numbness now. However, I do still get sharp pains near the beginning of my incision if I lift anything too heavy. :(

numbness I think that my incision was pretty numb for about 6 weeks - then it was sore! Now at 5 months pp it's only sore if DS steps on it!

bleeding Ugh, I bled forever! I think it was about 8 weeks - it sort of stopped around 6 weeks, but I would still spot here & there. The NP said it was probably a sign of doing too much.

Toning muscles Hmmm, maybe I should start, but honestly, I am tired and it's not high on my list of priorities right now. Between work & the baby and house stuff, i'm pretty much tapped - that can wait. I waited a full 6 weeks to vaccum or lift anything!
