View Full Version : Wrinkle free, Machine Wash Pants - Dress or Khaki
I have a few pairs of kakhi pants from Gap, BR, Old Navy, Ann Taylor Loft. The problem is, even after obsessively ironing them, they are a wrinkled mess after I sit down.
Can someone PLEASE recommend kakhi pants that not only fit great (I like a straight, non-tapered leg) BUT hold up to basic wear without looking like my dog chewed them up?
FWIW, I need to be able to wear these pants in an office environment - and I already have "dressy" pants so I really am just looking for decent kakhis.
Thanks!

Not sure if it works but have you tried the Downy Wrinkle Releaser? Supposedly, you can spray in on the wrinkles and then smooth 'em out with your hands. Just a thought...
I've tried that - doesn't work all that great. I'm looking for pants made of wrinkle free/treated cotton.
Dockers maybe? I thought they advertised a while back that they had a wrinkle-free version.
i got a pair of merona khaki's at target that don't wrinkle as much.
I am going to check out Eddie Bauer. I haven't bought ANYTHING there since jr high but it looks like they've updated their clothing quite a bit. They have a wrinkle-free/resistant, boot cut kakhi.

I like Eddie Bauer's wrinkle-free button down shirts, so I would imagine their pants would actually be wrinkle-free, too.
Rec'd my pants from Eddie Bauer and wow - they still looked fresh after a full day of work. I will probably order a few more pairs.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for wrinkle free, machine wash dress pants that would be office appropriate (paired with a button up shirt.) I am looking for suggestions other than chinos/khakis.
I saw Lands End had somthing like this on their website, however I had a very bad experience with their non-iron button up shirts (shoddy, and fell apart.)

I used to travel a lot for work, so all of my non-suit pants are one of two kinds. Some are Liz Claiborne - I think they're called "Easy Care" - and they come in different cuts for different body types. I've had several pairs that have lasted for years.
The other kind are by Investments, and I've only been able to find them through Dillards. I am so addicted to these pants, I order them online since I don't have a Dillards nearby. I pay about $30/pair and they look brand new for about 9 months of constant (and I mean constant) use, wash, and stuffing in a suitcase. After that, they get a little "pilly", but for $30 for great fitting pants, that's fine by me!

I like Old Navy trousers. They're not marketed as wrinkle free, but I usually don't have a problem with them wrinkling, even if I don't get them out of the dryer right away.

THANK YOU! I had no idea that Dilliard's evan existed...I checked out the Investment pants and they look exactly what I was hoping to find...and at $30, well, that is just great if they will hold up!
I especialy like this style, the "Park Ave" Clean-Front Pants:

Foley42 Do you mean the pants I'm addicted to? ;) I'm pretty sure the entire line of Investments pants is "wrinkle-free". They are technically not called "wrinkle free", but I have never even had to think about ironing my pants.
The line comes in Five (?) different fits, so that's where the different names come from. I'm a girl with hips, so I love me the Madison Avenue fit.
Hope that helps.
