hi
i did a search and i didnt find an answer to my question so i figured i would post...

has anyone had a problem with FF giving them a bad O date?

i usually O around cd21-22

however the past few nites i have had awful nites sleep and i think its screwing up my temps.
if i put in the temp i got today it says i already O'd but i think that crap ( so i took it out for now).

i have been using an OPK and have got all negatives - however - monday after work i did one and it did have a second line present but it wasnt dark enough or equal to in color to be a positive so marked it as a negative.
do you think that was really a positive?

should i see what my temps are over the next few days??

i'm so confused.

i cant really go by my CM either because its hardly anything there

has anyone had a problem with FF giving them a bad O date?Yes, FF is notorious for that! It's one of the reasons that FF is best used if you've either got a very thorough understanding of charting or you're a member of one of the group threads & have people help you call the O date. ;)

It's possible. You could have missed the surge earlier in the day, since you waited until after work to take it. But it's also possible your body started gearing up to O and then decided not to, in which case you will have another surge.

I'd wait and watch your temps to see what happens, keep BDing, and check out the threads around here for tips to increase your CM. HTH!

good i feel better now - i thought i was loosing my mind.
usually once i O my temps go above 98.
pre O they have a huge range (partly due to DD waking me up) anywhere from 97 - 97.80

I charted for 5 months and I think I only had one cycle where my friends here at CC didn't second guess my given O date.

Also, I had a few times where I was given solid crosshairs, and then a few days later the crosshairs would move due to the newest temps I put in. Very frustrating, but the girls in the charting thread can be VERY helpful (and will be entirely honest) in determining if and when you O'ed.

If I were you I would continue to temp at your usual time, and if you get crosshairs when you don't think you O'ed yet, then by all means, keep BDing! And keep doing the OPK's. I don't think a faint line counts as a positive. I think the line has to be as dark as or darker than the control line.

Ususually FF will call my O date right but not always. This month being one of them. FF keeps telling me I O'd last weekend and I know I didn't so I left a temp. out so it would take the crosshairs away. I usually know when I O based on the types of cramps I get, CM, CP, and my bb's are sore the very next day. Try to look for signs each month that can clue you in. I LOVE OPK's but I did have a few months where they would give me negatives when I did O, possiably like scooter said you might've just missed your surge. GOOD LUCK!
