Mets Tickets - August 20th

We are going to visit NYC from August 18th-23rd. DH wants to go to a MLB game, and the Mets are in town.

We are looking for 5 Mets tickets for the Sunday, August 20th, 1pm game.

DH is betting on some right now in an auction, but it's not looking good.

Does anyone have 'connections' that we might be able to buy from? We aren't looking for terrific seats, but decent ones would be nice. Or, do you know if there are always tickets outside the stadium or anything?

Any info would be appreciated!

I don't think the game is sold out. I just went on the mets website and was able to get 5 tix for that game.

This is the problem w/ cross posting, but I wanted to make sure that anyone in NY saw it. :)

I posted in the travel about the seat selection I'm finding on the website. Would love your input, since it sounds like you go to the games.

Yes, the mezz has some seats that are obstructed under the over hang, plus it's HOT in there bc no air gets inside.
so if they are mezz far back i would definitely get the upper deck seats. i love sitting in the upper deck!
