Charting Our Course to the BFPs
http://www.ripleysorlando.com/images2/fertilitystatues.jpg
The fertility statues are known to work for some who rub them around the time of possible conception.
It is said that the baby is the most potent part of the statue.
So rub away! :D It's worth a shot!
Who we are:
This is a group of women using charting (temperatures, CM, CP, OPK/FM results, or a combination of these) to try to conceive and, along the way, are learning a heckuvalot about their own bodies! Many of us use a software program to keep track of our charts as well as allowing us to share them with each other. The most common ones are FertitlityFriend.com and Ovusoft.com.
Your threadmistress for this thread is Baby Lust!
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to email me! (charting_is_knowledge@yahoo.com)
To our members:
This thread gets very busy at times, so in order to keep things less overwhelming and a bit more organized, we start a new thread each month as well as after 3 BFPs. A link to the new thread is always posted at the end of the current thread to help everyone find their way over. The threadmistress would really appreciate it if everyone would post their updates in Red. That way, if I get a bit behind, it is much quicker to get the thread up-to-date.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Want to join the fun??
We welcome one and all. It doesn’t matter if you have never charted before or if you’ve been charting to avoid. I am sure you will find lots of help and support in this group.
If you would like to join, CD1 is the time to do it! That way, we can cheer you on
throughout your cycle, rather than 2 days before you test!
Please don't be discouraged by the number of posts in this thread. You don’t have to read the whole thread to join. Feel free to just jump in on the last page. Just read through these first couple of posts and post a reply with the following information and we will get you added right away. Of course, none of this info is a must but we like to know a little bit about one another.

Things I Have Learned About TTC
by WC's Sherylb
* TTC is a journey. You will discover things about yourself that you never expected. You will face fears you never thought you had. You will find joy in little things.
* TTC can bring you closer to your DH, or it can pull you apart. If your marriage is not solid, you will find out quickly.
* No one understands exactly what you are feeling at any given moment, but someone can empathize at least a little bit.
* You will experience an emotional roller coaster ride. There will be highs and lows and fast moments and slow. Sometimes you have to wait in a very, very slow moving line. You may not even get the seat you want. It is not always fun, it can be scary, but in the end it is worth it.
* "Just relax" is the last thing in the world you want to hear from someone, but it is OK if you say it about yourself.
* There will be moments when you question your own decision to start TTC. You will wonder if you should wait or if you should just give up. Those are normal. But you will get past those feelings.
* The blue and green turtle likes to pop its head out! You will hear of someone's pregnancy and turn green with envy and blue inside because it isn't you.
* It isn't fair, it isn't easy, and it isn't pretty. But you keep doing it because the reward is worth it.
* You will be your best friend and your worst enemy. Your body will
surprise you and yet disappoint you.
* Some women do get lucky and conceive right away. Others aren't so lucky and have to struggle to get there. Hope you will be in the first category, but prepare yourself to be in the second.
* Once you decide to TTC, there will be babies and pregnant women everywhere! You could swear there is a baby boom going on!
* You will have questions. No one will ever be in exactly your position, so don't be surprised when no one can give you exactly the answer you are looking for. But there are people that can contribute, so don't be afraid to ask!
* Two lines on a pregnancy test is not the end of the struggle. Pregnancy has lots of struggles in and of itself.

- Common TTC abbreviations
This is a list of some of the more common TTC abbreviations. I know as a newcomer to the TTC threads, it can be hard to keep them all straight. I hope these will help, and if anyone has any they would like added, please let me know!
•2WW: "2 week wait" - The approximate time from possible conception to menstruation due date; Pregnancy tests should be taken near the end of the 2WW.
•AF: "Aunt Flo"; Your period; Menstruation
•AFNW: "Aunt Flo Not Wanted"; the day your period is expected to start, but you are hoping it doesn't!
•AO: anovulatory (cycle without ovulation)
•BBs: "boobs"; breasts
•BBL: "be back later"
•BBT: Basal Body Thermometer; This is used to measure your basal body temperature, when you wake up in the morning, after at least 3 hours of sleep, before you start to move around; Use a special BBT thermometer to take your temperature because they measure the small changes in temperature from day to day more accurately than the regular fever thermometers.
•BCP: Birth control pills
•BD'ing: "baby dancing"; baby-making intercourse
•BFN: "Big Fat Neutral" or “Big Fat Negative”; Negative pregnancy test.
•BF'ing: breast-feeding
•BRB: "be right back"
•CD: cycle day; a particular day in your menstrual cycle (example: CD1 is the first day of your period)
•CL: Cover Line; a visual tool used to separate the low (pre-ovulatory) temps from high (post-ovulatory) temps; a coverline is typically based on the temperatures 6 days prior to ovulation.
•CM: cervical mucous; one of the most useful clues your body can give you in predicting your fertility; it can range from dry, creamy, sticky, or (the most fertile) egg white/watery type.
•CF: cervical fluid; same as cervical mucus
•CP: cervical position; an optional, but sometimes really useful, fertility sign; CP will generally be low, firm and closed before and after ovulation, and high, soft and open during your fertile time.
•DD: "dear daughter"
•DH: "dear husband"
•DS: "dear son"
•DPO: Days Past Ovulation; number of days from your post-ovulatory temperature rise. (Example: 1DPO is the day after your ovulation)
•Endo: endometriosis (can be a fertility problem)
•EDC and EDD: estimated date of confinement (antiquated, but still used by physicians) and estimated date of delivery
•EPT: a brand of pregnancy test, or, generic for "early pregnancy test"
•EW or EWCM: egg white cervical mucus; the most fertile quality CM; it is slippery, clear and stretchy, like egg whites; also EWCF
•FAM: Fertility Awareness Method; the method of fertility and/or birth control that correlates the physical changes you experience during your cycle to predict when you are most fertile
•FF: Fertility Friend, an online (free, for basic services) fertility charting site (website); (could also be formula feeding; check context)
•FM: fertility monitor
•FMU: first morning urine
•FP: follicular phase; the phase before ovulation, where the egg matures in the ovaries
•FRED: First Response Early Detection (pregnancy test)
•HCG: human chorionic gonadotropin; the hormone that is present during pregnancy and what the HPT's and blood test measure to determine if you are pregnant
•HTH: "hope that helps"
•HPT: home pregnancy test; a urine pregnancy test you can take at home
•IMHO: "in my humble opinion"
•IMO: "in my opinion"
•IUI: intra-uterine insemination
•IVF: in vitro fertilization
•KU: knocked up
•LH: leutenizing hormone; the LH surge is what is measured by the OPKs; this hormone signals the egg to burst from the ovary
•LP: luteal phase; the phase of your cycle that begins just after ovulation and continues for 10-18 days, ending with the start of your next period; during the LP, your body continues to build up the lining of your uterus, and produce hormones which would support a pregnancy; this is the time when a fertilized egg can implant into the uterine lining
•NFP: Natural Family Planning; similar to FAM, but with abstinence during the fertile period
•O, Oing, Oed: ovulation, ovulating, or ovulated
•OPK: ovulation predictor kit; tests for presence of LH surge that usually precedes ovulation by 12-48 hours; these tests are quite expensive and not always accurate (if you take medication or depending on your age); these are optional when charting with FF, but if your fertility data is not clear it can bring more light and help interpret difficult cases
•OS: Ovusoft; charting software based on TCOYF
•PCOS: polycystic ovarian syndrome (a fertility problem)
•PG: pregnant
•PIAC: pee in a cup
•POAS: pee on a stick
•RE: reproductive endocrinologist
•SA: semen analysis
•SH: "sweet husband"
•SO: "significant other"
•SYS, SYL : See ya soon! or See ya later!
•TCOYF: Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler; a book and website about charting and fertility.
•TMI: "too much information" - There is no such thing when TTC!
•TTA: "trying to avoid"
•TTC: "trying to conceive"
•TTFN: "ta-ta for now"
•TTYL, TTYS: "talk to you later" or "talk to you soon"

Oh heck, I don't know why I'm waiting...I'll go ahead and make it official! :D I just added my "+" to FF. Dh doesn't know yet! I'm going to try to hold out till Friday evening to tell him. His bday is Sunday and I'm going to send him on a treasure hunt to find his presents, the last one being (hopefully) an ultrasound pic of our little dot. My best friend is an ultrasound tech so I'm going in either tomorrow or Friday to have a transvag. I can't wait! (never thought I'd say I can't wait for a transvag  )

I attempted to join this thread a few weeks ago (just shortly after my chemical PG and while waiting for AF). I thought I would try again now that AF has come and gone, my HCG level has been checked, and I've gotten the go ahead from my doc to TTC again. AF arrived on CD 28 and I'm currently on CD8 w/ EWCM.

Wow! This thread really gets to you doesn't it? I am sitting here beaming at the screen. I never before imagined what a journey it could be, and to see poeple graduate is just so powerful!
Shannon - Congratulations!! Yup, looks like a line -- good story! How on EARTH are you going to manage to keep from telling your DH until this weekend???
Red -- BIG congratulations to you! I don't *know* you, but I have seen you around WC for the lat few years, even though I didn't jump on the TTC bandwagon until a few months ago. I wish you a very happy and healthy 9 months!
I saw a co-worker in the grocery store today who is due in a few weeks. She is absolutely glowing (not least due to her sunburn -- she's another redhead) and I just felt so happy and achey at the same time...I want a big round belly too.
Talked to my doctor again today and I officially have "mild PCOS". I began Metformin today, 500 mg a day, and will increase in a week. After a few months, if no baby, I will look to Clomid.
From what she said, Metformin shouldn't affect OPKs. I hope not, because with my crazy-long cycles, I need a clue... Hopefully these cycles will shorten soon!

Congratulations to Shannon & Red!!!! H&H 9 mo to you both!!
***
I'm in "WTF" mode, myself....today is 10 DPO and I woke up this morning to post-O temps, but also spotting!!! I have to use pads at night b/c of the progesterone suppositories and when I woke up this morning, there was (sorry, TMI) definite red spotting on the pad....I'm so upset! It wasn't on the TP at first, only after I did a CP check (still low, firm and closed). FRER was BFN this morning. Progesterone is supposed to make my LP longer (it was 16 days last month!) and if I get AF today, it will only be a 9 day LP, which is no better than when I started. :( I could seriously cry right now....
My temp is still high this morning...does anyone think this could be implantation spotting or is that wishful thinking?
Guinness
07-14-2005, 05:06 AM
Babylove Hang in there. I think it could definitely be implantation spotting. Everything I have read (and I have googled it daily ;) ) says implantation typically happens DPO 8-10 and you are right in there. Don't give up yet!

Shannon I hope your traveling BD works for me too. I will be away for work when I O so DH will be driving 3 hours to see me too!!! Hope it's worth it ;)
RED- I know you left our group a couple of months ago. I was just wondering what you did different to finally get your BFP? Did you stop charting and taking OPKs all together?thanks for the insight. It's always great to know what worked for others.
Amy
Hoping to see a bunch of BFP soon out of this group, so we can close it down.

Ok, I'm really nervous to be doing this especially since I have not gone to the drs. to see if my numbers are doubling. I did go the drs. yesterday and my numbers were good for 14DPO and my HPT was much darker today, so I am feeling as good as I can for now.
After 17 months of TTCing, 50mg of Clomid did the trick, I am announcing my BFP!!!.
I had a m/c last October and am terrified of having to come back here as much as you ladies have been a wonderful source of support. I decided though that I need to soak up the moment for now. Everything is as good as it can be for now.
Thanks for your support!

Wow! So much good news in this thread! Congratulations, Heidi!
CD9 and my temp took a .3 degree dive this morning. With all the EWCM I had the last two days, I'm wondering if the drop is a pre-o temp drop. Or it might be that I had to temp 40 minutes earlier than normal. My DH was at a work function until midnight and he called around 11 to say that I should go to bed since I had to wake up this morning. But I told him that he had work to do when he got home! I'm covering all our bases this month.

Amy - RED- I know you left our group a couple of months ago. I was just wondering what you did different to finally get your BFP? Did you stop charting and taking OPKs all together?thanks for the insight. It's always great to know what worked for others.Amy
I hate to admit it, but I was doing nothing. No charting, no checking CM, no recording anything, even BD-ing, and I was doing everythign wrong - going to the bathroom after BD-ing, not elevating my hips, heck, i think we conceived doggie style! I wasn't taking any pre-ntals or vitamins...nothing. I was even drinking! When I left the thread in May, I literally took my mind of TTC-ing by pretending we weren't, and just enjoying life. I think the major thing that contributed was that in May I started exercising daily, and really concentrating on eating well. so yeah - as a former obsessive charter I'm almost embarrassed to admit I was doing none of it when I finally got knocked up!
Thank you so much for all the congrats!!!. You ladies have always rocke dmy world, and continue to do so :D
Congratulations again Heidi!! I couldn't be happier for you!!!

Hi ladies! I've been lurking around this thread for a couple of weeks now and have decided to just jump in and join. Here's my info:
Me: Melissa/28
DH: Alan/29
Married since: June '03
Off BCP since: Feb. '05
TTC since: June '05
Charting since: Feb. '05
Known issues/test results: none known
Chart: working on it...I'll post it soon!
Current status: waiting to O
Let's see. A little bit of background = I was on BCP for a looooong time. Can't really remember much about my cycles from before then, but I do remember that AF was very long and heavy and full of cramps. My first cycle off BCP was 53 days and definitely annovulatory. After that, my next few cycles were short (22-25 days) with very short LPs (4-6 days) and light AF. I think I O'd in two of them, but had one with temps all over the place and no clear O. My last cycle had a very heavy AF (much like pre-BCP) and was 30 days. I didn't chart throughout the whole cycle, I decided to take a couple of weeks off from temping, but DH and I did BD a few times when I thought I might be O'ing. So I'm not sure if I O'd or how long my LP was, but I was definitely glad to see a longer cycle. I'm on CD5 today, having another long and heavy AF, and so ready to get to the BD'ing stage of this cycle! I'm charting again so I can keep track of things. I'll post a link soon for my charts.
The only thing that I'm still concerned about is how much mid-cycle spotting I've had. I've only had one cycle w/o any spotting. I'm hoping that I was just one of those women whose bodies takes a long time to regulate after BCP and that this cycle will be more normal. Do any of you have midcycle spotting regularly? Was it ever a concern?
What else? I'm glad to be joining this lovely group of women and I wish everyone lots of luck this month. With all these BFP's hopefully there will be more graduates soon!!!!

Congrats to Heidi!!!! Yay for another BFP!!!!!
Well I took another FRER test with my FMU this morning and the darn thing gave me the *ever* faintest of lines just like it did yesterday. It's so faint I question whether it's really there. So then I save up my pee for 4.5 hours  and peed on another Equate 10 min ago and it gives me a line plain as day! So yay for Equates!!!!!

Just rolling around in Shannon's Baby Dust!!!!!
I'll be careful not to bump into you :).
I'm tired of watching my symptoms so damn carefully! I give up!!! As I've said before, my temps this cycle are all screwed up and make no sense whatsoever. So it really doesn't mean anything.
I went through my previous cycles to look for patterns, and I'm thinking I O'd CD16, or even CD20 instead of CD15. I've recreated this cycle (using a month in 03, before I started charting) based on O'ing CD20, and either could be it.
My homepage currently shows symptom notes from CD15, all of my charts, and the pretend chart at the bottom. If anyone has some extra time, I'd appreciate it if you gave it a glance to let me know what you think.
Welcome, gym!
Go Amy!

My temps have been all kinds of wacky just like the beginning of my last cycle. I had a huge jump this morning to 97.7 but since I'm only on CD6 I know I didn't O. I'm thinking it might have had something to do with my sunburn? Maybe??

Thanks to Guinness & Mystikal for responding to my desperate cries for help this morning!! ;)
Update: The spotting continues, but just barely....I wore a pantyliner today and there was some very very slight pale pink spotting on it, though none really on the TP. It was all accompanied by strange cramping this morning, that has mostly subsided. Let me just say that I have *never* in my life had break-through bleeding or spotting like this prior to AF. Ever. That makes me hopeful that it is implantation spotting. Only time will tell!

babylove, don't give up yet! Could definitely be implantation spotting. I can't see your LP being so short given you are on supps. The cramping is a good sign IMO!
Congratulations Heidi!!! Gosh, you guys tried for so long, I am so happy for you! Celebrate this weekend!
Welcome Melissa!
I hope August continues the BFP's, I would *love* one for for my birthday (9 August), and would be happy for that to be my only present! And when I blow out candles on my cake it will not just be for me, but everyone here.
No coverline for me yet, am on CD19. Last cycle was 26 days so I am starting to worry. I was reskimming TCOYF last night and am wondering if I might have odd post-o temps like she talked about. Grasping at straws, moi - never!!!
Anyone ever get + OPK's but not O? Is that possible? I had a blazing + OPK on CD16, with EWCM too boot. My temps are being so stupid though.
Have a good weekend all! Friday is nearly over here, hubby will be home from work soon!

Thanks, BabyLust, Flygirl & Crazycaro!
I'm a little disheartened b/c my temp went down this morning to just above the CL. I won't put too much stock in it b/c I had to wake up early for work, so it's not that reliable. But....got a BFN this morning. Not even a faint line :( No spotting this morning, so hopefully AF is not on her way.

07-15-2005, 06:26 AM
Babylove - sorry about the BFN. But, if you just implanted it may be too early to get your BFP.
As for me, still have the same temp. for like 6 days now, 97.5. My temp has never done that before. It's just bizarre. Hopefully I'll either definitely O soon or my temp will do something to let me know what my body is doing! Does the temp staying exactly the same for so long seem odd to anyone else?
mayham
07-15-2005, 07:10 AM
katmg - this cycle, i had the same temp 3 days in a row, and then my temps shifted the next day. Not sure if this means anything, though, I haven't been charting for very long! 6 days in a row is kind of odd, hopefully your temp will jump soon!
babylove - sorry about the bfn. I'm hoping the spotting you had was implantation and a sign of good things to come.
crazycaro - hope you get a bfp for your birthday! My mom's bday is end of this month, and DH's is a couple days later. I'll be testing at the end of next week if AF doesn't come. It would be such an amazing birthday present to give... crossing fingers for both of us!
Melissa - welcome!
Heidi - CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My temps are still above CL, but seem to be making a slow decline... i was kind of bummed this morning, since it dropped a tenth of a degree, but I also had to get up and turn off the alarm, so I'm guessing it may have been lower if i hadn't had to get up and move around.

Morning ladies! Temp went back up this morning, so I am expecting it to remain on the rise... I will be testing Monday!
BLove, Sorry about the BFN, but if the spotting was implantation, it is entirely too early for a +. Don't lose hope!
Kat, It is a little unusual to have 6 flat temps pre-O. Have you taken your temp at another time of the day to make sure it's not your therm? If it's not, just patiently wait for a temp rise! :p
Mayham, Sorry about the temp drop. Hopefully AF is not on the way. {{HUGS}}

babylust - I checked my thermometer yesterday after my shower and it had raised .3 degrees. If I count the one day I missed taking my temp. I'd have 8 days at 97.5. Bah!
mayham - seemed odd to me. Hopefully something will happen soon!

Crazy~ Good question, although I can't answer it.
Well this is our BD fest weekend. Although I feel like we have had more sex this month than we have in the last 2 years. For some reason DH is really into it this month. He was actually kinda funny last night (I am sure this is TMI, but I know you will get a kick out of it). After BD he got up and got a towel for me to wipe up leakage with. I put it under my butt area and he said "there you go, rising your hips to make the spermies get down the long canal". I tried to explain to him I was just cleaning up, but he doesn't believe me. I told him this weekend I won't just have a towel under me, I will have my legs right in the air :)
Him and his buddies are going downtown tomorrow night and they all want to get a hotel room. I told him absolutly not!!! We only live 7 miles from downtown. I told him I would come and pick him up no matter what time it is. Am I desperate or what?
Hope everyone has a great weekend and we come back to more blazin' BFPs!

Thanks for the sympathy girls....I'm not holding out much hope. I wasn't spotting at all today, until just now. All of a sudden, it started again, and I'm afraid it might be AF. I had a bout of "D" this afternoon, which is usually a sure sign that the b1tch is on her way. It would also substantiate the temp drop that I had this morning. :(
Just remembered...I have a question about CP....what is the normal CP when AF is approaching--low, firm and closed OR high soft and open? I'm confused...

Well my temps have remained high since O'ing which is unusual for me. Also the strangest thing happened to me tonight I had the worst heartburn when I ate dinner. We ate BBQ and I had ribs and the green beans I got were so spicy, foods don't normally bother me at all whether they be spicy and I never get heartburn. Should I read anything into this?
Also tonight DH was asking me about my temps and I told him they have remained high that brought a huge smile to his face and he says so that means we might have made a baby?!?!?!

Flygirl, Do you want to be moved to another testing group, or are you planning on testing Saturday morning?
flygirl
07-15-2005, 11:30 PM
Hee hee; I'm so glad to see I'm not the only symptom-obsessor :D:D
My first test yesterday (Friday) had the faintest of shadows (Equate). I immediately tested with CBE digital & it was a BFN. I spent hours analyzing my symptoms and my chart & finally decided this was too much. When it comes down to it, either I am or I'm not & wasting time analyzing like that won't change it. Every time I feel a twinge of something different I remind myself that since I haven't tracked my PMS symptoms in awhile, any one of the ones I've felt could easily be FPS.
Tomorrow is 12 DPO, my normal LP, so AF is expected on Sunday. I decided yesterday that I wouldn't test again until Monday, but I think that's flown out the window & I'm testing tomorrow (Sat morning).
My boobies started aching last night and today they have been PAINFUL!!!!!!!!! And they've only gotten worse throughout the day. I also feel tightness in my lower pelvic region. BB pain is the one PS I've been looking for, because it used to be a sizeable PMS for me while I was on the Pill. Since I've been off I've only had slight tenderness after O & again right before AF. In the back of my head I've been holding on to the idea that if I get really painful bb's, it could be a RPS. So...I'm testing tomorrow :D.
It's way too late here (I'm trying to get ready for a trip tomorrow...I mean today), so SO's later! General good luck to everyone!

Threadmistress. .. you rock! You've already moved me to Think I O'ed before I could even tell you :) When you get a chance could you change both my and my DHs age to 30 (bleck!)
I O'ed early again this month. Wondering if that is the "new normal". Who knows? Just when I think I understand, another curve ball is thrown.
I have been lurking but crazy busy at work so no time to post. I've started several times, but never got to finish and post. At least, I don't think I've posted.. . . :)
So, uber congrats to Red and I don't think I had the chance to say congratulations to Heidi!
So sorry to Babylove and everyone else AF found.
I'm surprisingly unaffected this month (so far anyway). I think I've convinced myself that I have endometriosis and we probably won't get pregnant without intervention. I know you are not supposed to self diagnose, but whatever! So, I'm pretty convinced that this wasn't the month. . plus we only BD O-2, O-3, and O-4. Not the best timing.
In good news, I have an appt. with a new GYN to discuss this intense pelvic pain I've been having. Hoping this guy actually helps to diagnose vs. telling me it's just gas or brushing me off all together. Fingers crossed!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! :D

babylove, I'm so sorry :( Is it possible, since your temp went up, that this is pg-bleeding. It's not "normal," but from what I've read it's not unusual for women to bleed (not just spot, but actually bleed) during early pg.
LittleStar, more :(. I'm so sorry.
To everyone who thinks AF is coming, I'm holding up my fingers in a cross sign.
Y'all are so funny! No, I wasn't hiding anything. I had to fly to CA last minute yesterday and had a baptism to attend in the morning, so I had no time on the 'puter. So basically, I'm flat-out confused . I tested yesterday and got a relatively dark mark, but no line. I should probably take a pic. It's a pen-width line about 1/4" long on the left side of where the "line" should be, but I don't see anything else. CBE digital is still giving me a no, with faint blue lines inside (I know it registers LH, but my first few had no lines, & I thought LH stayed pretty much flat after O). My Equate this morning didn't have anything.
But I noticed that my FMU is actually pretty light yellow. I'm usually a big water drinker & have been in overdrive for the past 2 weeks, so my urine is always diluted. I decided to torture myself and not drink anything today. Almost 12 hours later my urine was much darker, but still nada.
I'm supposed to be 13 DPO & my LP is almost always 12 days (one 13-day LP), and no sign of AF. I go from a creamy CM to stretchy-sticky (never seen that) to flat-out dry all in one day. My bb's are getting bigger every day & they're still quite sore, my nipples are still extra large & the Mont's glands appear more noticeable. I've had a few mild AF cramps & my uterus feels tight, often like it's being tugged on. I've had mile heartburn constantly for the past few days. On Friday, I was watching an episode each of Birth Day & Adoption Stories, and I couldn't stop bawling. My propensity for tears has gotten worse each day & I've been feeling very emotional toward DH (haven't seen him in a week & don't know when I'll see him again; I'll be cheerleading my next cycle).
So.... I'm just still in the waiting phase, I guess. FF called my chart "Possibly Triphasic on Day 25" today, & will tell me to test tomorrow. Guess that's just what I'll have to do http://69.56.212.42/smiles/icon_help.gif. Which reminds me; I need more CBE sticks.

Subscribing, but I'm way behind... I'm back from vacation... had a nice time visiting family and shopping and whatnot. :)
So, Friday morning I woke up to some spotting, and didn't think much of it.. then later in the day I realized that was 8 or 9 DPO. Since then I've been thinking it was implantation. :)
I flew home today, and it's either 10 or 11 DPO depending on things... well, I decided to take a test after having spurts of nausea all day, and I saw the slightest of lines. I compared it to a test from last month that I kept, and there's definitely something there. I showed DH, and he said he didn't see anything. I said, "Look at the old test, then the new one"... then he admitted that he saw a line but it didn't look like the comparison line. :) I don't have a pic, but it looks almost exactly like ShannonGH's first test in the other thread.
In any case... I know that a line is a line, but I'm being cautiously optimistic. As a matter of fact, I might not test again tomorrow and wait until Tuesday.. it will be HARD though. I just really think this is it, probably because of that spotting. I gotta go out and buy more tests...
(don't graduate me yet... give me a couple days to get another confirmation and for it to sink into my brain) :)

Sorry to all those that the witch found
As I was chart stalking looking for a chart that looks similar to mine, I came across a mystery BFP. Congrats Mystery BFP!
As for me I am hoping that our weekend was successful. After 7 months I am still learning so much. On Saturday I had a blazin' positive OPK. For some reason I knew that it meant I was going to O. I was so upset when hubby wasn't home. I told him how mad I was at him. Of course then I get out the paper to read to him about the OPKs and it says that it will happpen in the next 12 - 36 hours. So he reassures me he will be home first thing in the morning and we will BD. I was terrified my temp was already going to go up and we would be in trouble. However the temp didn't go up, and we did get mid-morning BD in. Then this morning I had a big temp jump, so hoping we caught that damn egg. Just have to wait 2 more days for FF to give me crosshairs then I can start obsessing.

Well, I'm right there with Babylove and LS. :( AF showed last night. I have no idea what happened!! I had to have O'd earlier than I thought... otherwise I had an 8 day LP. :( Ouch. I didn't really have high hopes this cycle, so it's not a huge blow, but it still sucks.
DH and I are going to SWH the next 2 months since we will be travelling this summer with our families and don't want to have to worry about timing BDing. I am also going to stop Clomid for those 2 months since my dr will only let me do so many cycles before moving on so I'm not going to waste them on SWH, know what I mean?

Well, I just got back from my dr. appt. I was trying out a new doc and I am very pleased to say that I absolutely adore him. He has a great personality, is very up-beat and positive. However, when I first got there, his nurse totally freaked me out. She read on my chart that I had been off BCP since December and immediately started in on all the different fertility issues I could possible have and all the things we would do (blood work, meds, procedures, etc). My head was spinning! Luckily when I saw the dr., he was not as "concerned" as his nurse seemed to be. He basically said to keep doing what we are doing, but to "have more sex!" I called DH after my appt to tell him this and he laughed. Dr also said that I should wait a few more days before I do a HPT and that he hopes to see me back there really soon. I left in such a good mood and very relaxed. This is exactly what I wanted in a doctor.
So...waiting to test until Thursday or Friday (if I can wait that long).

UTChick, I'm so happy that you've found a good doc! That's my problem right now. I have a pre-concep appt. with a new doc in Sept, which may (hopefully) turn into something else, but I hate the idea of doc-shopping when I'm already pg!
Mayhem, Woo Hoo! Your temp went back up!!!
As y'all can see, still BFN, but still high temp & no sign of AF. Since CD20 was the other possible O date, I played with the temps a bit & FF gave me CH for CD20. That would put me at 10 DPO. This has been driving me so crazy, I'm considering having a blood test. Problem is that I'm 1500 miles away from home. I thought about going to Planned Parenthood (I will probably call them, at least), but I'm not sure they do blood tests. Anyone have any suggestions? I guess I could call my mom's doc (have to do that anyway) for a lab referral.
ETA: I totally forgot about what I did this morning! I took pics of the two Equate tests that showed "something."
This is the *super* faint line from CD26 (looks darker in person!):
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5d939b3127cce92b71f96db4d00000016108AZNm7Vs5bsq

MMH - I looked at your chart, and I think it looks good still. Don't be discouraged - not every pg chart has an implantation dip or spotting. Your temps are staying nice and high. 10 DPO could still be a bit soon for a BFP. I'd probably wait a few more days.
Baby Lust
07-18-2005, 12:03 PM
MMH, I would say wait until at least 11DPO. Your temps are nice and high, butto get an accurate result, you really should wait until 12DPO. Now, I know how hard that is, so if you do test before then, just remember that it may be too early! ;) Good luck!

We tried the MCD method of BDing like rabbits, but Saturday just didn't happen (TMI, not enough juice). I think we are ok though because that is the day I got my blazin' OPK positive and my temp didn't go up Sunday morning (actually dropped). And we did BD on Sunday AM. I went chart stalking and my chart looks like Shannon's. Hoping we get the same results. :)

Question:
Have any of you ever experienced light spotting and slight cramps after an annual gyno exam?
I have very light pink spotting and slight cramps on my lower left back this afternoon after I had my appt this morning. I shouldn't get AF until Friday and I have never experienced this before following an annual. Could it possibly be implantation spotting/cramping this late? Thanks for the sympathy, ladies and sorry to the rest of you who got AF :( It bites. But I am feeling considerably more optimistic now that the initial shock has worn off. I have made a command decision to NOT temp, except for the few days before O and for 3 days after O (to make sure I get 3 high temps). I just can't put myself through the constant rollercoaster of emotions that comes along w/ temping everyday. I have also decided to take a yoga class to see if that helps my stress level. I think back to the month that I got pg and I totally had no clue that my chart was *perfect*....ignorance is bliss. I really think that some of this is mental. Anyway, enough pondering for one night!!

MMHinCA - I'd wait a couple more days to test, since you're not sure yet how long your LP will be. Good luck!
flygirl - thanks for checking in on my chart! I was very surprised to see a high temp this morning... hope it stays high. Though, i was rather hot when I woke up this morning, it was so muggy here... that may have also contributed to the high temp. Guess only time will tell.
Lizard - Good luck, I hope this is it for you!
I'm at 13 DPO. The last 4 days, my temps had been declining, then today jumped back up. I'm hoping that's not just due to the heat this morning when I woke up. If the temp is still high tomorrow I may have a hard time not testing, even though last month's LP was 15 days.

I am getting really frustrated. My temp shot way up this morning (13 DPO), so I tested again... well, there's a second line, but it's OUTSIDE of the control window on the right hand side. Inside the control window there's the usual control line and nothing else. Combining this with my beyond-light 2nd line 2 days ago is just killing me. This is with FRER's, by the way.
I'm done testing now for several days... this is getting ridiculous, I just want a definite yes or no one way or another, and it appears I need to be patient and wait longer for that.... sigh. :)
Happy Tuesday ladies:
Lizard: I am with you.. very frustrated…. but hang in there you will get an answer one way or the other at somepoint.
Mayham: What good self control you have waiting so long… I wish I was like that….
Babylove: That is a great decision… this temping business takes control of your mind and you feel like during the 2ww period you are so obsessed…
UTCHICK: No I have not had light spotting or cramping but I do hear it is normal…it would figure that I would not have it… obviously my body is soo ooo not normal.
My Update: I am totally trying to not to get frustrated but I am CD12 and I tested and I got a big fat negative…the more I look at my chart the more I think I O’d on CD32 but the CF does not match… ugh.. this happened to me last month…any suggestions?

You know, I was at WalMart last night and almost grabbed Equate, but then I decided to grab the FRERs, since I'd already had a light line with them and I thought it'd be the best way to compare. Darn it! My Sunday test sure does look like a BFP, and if FRER gave me a false positive I definitely won't use them again. TTCing is stressful enough without false tests, LOL.

hbeshore I think your chart is looking very good. But I would wait to test. Your last cycle had a very long LP, so I would be patient. Also if yesterday was implantation, a couple extra days would make it a positive positive if it is there. I would test Sat or Sun if I were you. The 29th is a bit ridiculous I think if you are really on DPO11 now. Now take this for what it is worth. This is my 1st month TTC, so the others may have more experienced advice ;)
There are lots of long LPs this week with BFN. Hang in there ladies, your charts are looking good.
I am DPO 9, didn't get home until 3am from a baseball game. I usually test at 5am, but that is hardly enough sleep. My temp looks fine, but I marked disturbance. I am trying my best to hold out until Sun to POAS. It is really hard though, these days are LONG :p
flygirl
07-19-2005, 09:04 AM
Morning! I'm cracking up because of how many of us are in the exact same position. past 10 DPO, all these symptoms yet no BFP. I'm starting to wonder if there are some bad batches out there. Perhaps the heat has made them less sensitive ;).
Seriously, though, there are two reasons for such huge differences in BFP dates. First, hcg only shows up after implantation. Average implantation is 8-10 DPO, but it can vary +/-4. The other issue is that everyone's body metabolizes hcg at different rates & it's possible that not enough is getting in your urine yet (could that be related to heat, too? ). FF's analysis based on every chart in its system shows that 14 DPO is the earliest reliable testing date.
Gina, your temp is still high and your chart looks like a typical triphasic. This is the end of your normal LP, and based on your previous charts you almost *always* drop significantly the day before AF. I don't blame you for not wanting to test! I'm feeling totally conflicted between wanting to know now & not caring *when* I know. Just do whatever you feel comfortable doing.
Ryan, you definitely O'd CD28. As I said above, don't get discouraged just because *some* women get early BFP's. There are plenty women who don't show anything until much later.
hbeshore, you normally have long LP's so I wouldn't get too anxious yet. 9 DPO looks like it *could* be an i-dip, which theoretically means you could test 3-4 days later. it depends on how stressed out you want to be and how many tests you want to take (it's hard to stop once you've started ;)). If your temps go up, & you can handle not testing for a few days, you might want to test in 2 days, then wait until at least 16 or 17 DPO.
Mayhem, Looks like you didn't test...? Your temp drop is still totally normal & all your temps are higher than last cycle. Based on your last cycle AF is due tomorrow. If she doesn't show up, then you know something is different, even if the hcg isn't showing up.
My Update: I'm either 15 DPO & 2 days late or 11 DPO with AF due Thur. If it's the latter, it might explain my dip on Sunday (!), which would explain why I'm not getting BFP's (but it wouldn't explain the line from last week). Either way, I'll know for sure later today or tomorrow. I broke down and went to the doctor yesterday for a beta test.
To add my ever-expanding symptom list, my systolic BP was lower (lately it's been 120/80; yesterday it was 110/82). My pulse was lower at 64 bpm (usually around 72, and more when I'm stressed - like now!). And my temp was 98.9. Also, I've been sleeping horribly for the past several nights. Last week I went to bed at 9pm 3 nights in a row because I was exhausted. Then I ended up staying up late for 2 nights but still woke up around 5-6am. Now, no matter what time I go to bed, I can't get more than about 5-6 hours of sleep. Hmmm... a little anxious?

Guinness and Flygirl Can you both tell I am mystified as to what is going on with my body. Thank you both for your feedback and you are both right I always have a long LP (which sucks by the way)!
So my symptoms persist: the heartburn has subsided a little bit but now my back is KILLING ME! I really just want to go home and lie on the couch for the rest of the day in front of the A/C!
So I guess I will heed the advice of my fellow TTCer's and wait to test until this weekend and I hope and pray that this backpain will go away!

flygirl This is the first cycle FF has called my chart possibly triphasic so that made me happy :) But then again this was my first round of Clomid and I think that is what is making me hesitate. Not really sure what I should be seeing since I know it can mess with temps!!! Oh the confusion!!!

Because life is never easy: My beta test was 2, but the doc I spoke to this time was very clear that if I'm only 11 DPO then it's way too early for anything definitive. She said she's seen it take as long as a week past implantation for hcg to show in the bloodstream! So since I'm officially 2 days late if O'd on CD16 & I don't have enough hcg to be considered a pg, at least I got one thing answered: I DID O on CD20!
Could this be any more frustrating?!?!?!?!
ETA: The first report I got was that I'm definitely not pg. I was ready to smoke a cigarette after that - and I don't smoke . I'm glad I called & actually spoke with the doc :D

:( I think I might cry. All that BDing when I *thought* I was about to O, then a short break, then back to the BDing... and I seem somehow to have O'ed in between.
Tell me the truth -- Is this cycle a lost cause?
Baby Lust
07-19-2005, 02:47 PM
Shelby, I'm not sure if you have O'd yet or not. Your temps seem low for an O, but it is very possible. I would keep BDing if you can until you see that your temps are not going to go back down. If you did indeed O when FF says, you do still have a small chance if you BD'd the morning after O. TCOYF says that there is a small possibility that you can catch an egg the morning after. Try not to lose hope! {{{HUGS}}}
flygirl
07-19-2005, 03:04 PM
Shelby, I agree with Amanda; I don't see an O, and FF is DEFINITELY incorrect. They will always go by temp first, regardless of CM. In fact, I think they've been incorrect for some of your recent cycles. In my case, this current cycle, if I don't discard those temps around CD15, FF tries to give me an O on CD12, which is OBVIOUSLY incorrect :).
Moral is, don't rely on FF, and don't stop BD'ing until YOU know you've O'd :)

Hi everyone! Lots of us waiting to see what happens...
I didn't test this morning, since my temp dropped a little, but still over cover. I'm going to test on Thursday (when AF is due) if my temp doesn't drop below CL. OR I will test tomorrow if my temp goes up, but i'm not holding my breath for that.
ShelbyMay - sorry you're feeling so confused. I agree with the other girls that you may not have O'd. But if you did, you had EWCM on the last time you BD'd before the FF report O, so I don't think this cycle would be a lost cause.
gmb4503 - "possibly triphasic" sounds really good to me! Hope your temps are indicative of a potential pregnancy and not just from the clomid!
flygirl - thanks for checking in on me! Still hoping I have a chance. Good luck waiting to test, but at least you know when you did O for sure!
Guiness - good luck waiting to test.... i know how tough it is! Go see lots of movies this weekend, it'll take your mind off of it for a little bit! (just make sure you don't go to a movie about a pregnant woman!)
Ryan - believe me, i wasn't always good at waiting to test (even now I wouldn't say I'm good at waiting!). I just wasted so many tests that I thought I'd try to conserve a little this cycle :)
amurphy - welcome back from vacation!
MMHinCA - your chart is looking GOOD!!!
ellebelle - Welcome! I'm so sick of the wc too! I haven't been able to get on all week. I may have to abandon those threads and my FP journal over there!
Lizard - Good luck! I'll be testing with you on Thursday (unless my temp jumps tomorrow, or my temp drops on Thur)

ShelbyMay I'm not sure you O'd yet. What method do you have FF programmed to interpret your chart? I've found that if you set it to Fertility Awareness (FAM) you will get more accurate results. I think FF's default is Advanced though so you might have to override it.
Mayham I hope your temp goes back up tomorrow morning!

Threadmistress - please move me to what the *bleep* is going on!
I'm on CD 29 and truly don't think I O'd yet. I used to be able to tell with no problem. The funny thing is that I have symptoms similar to when I was pg with DS (before I knew). Even the crazy period the month before. So, maybe we got it last month, but tests didn't work because AF showed?! Who knows. I'm tired as hell, hot as hell, having bad headaches, starving, peeing all the time AND I'm a B!TCH some days. Plus, have you seen my chart with all that CM. What is up there?
AF should show within the next week or so. We'll see what happens.

My temp just shot up .6 degrees this morning! My CM has been all over the place and I am not sure if it is my inexperience at distinguishing the different types of CM or if my body is crazy. I am hoping that I have O'd, but I guess I have to wait for two more consecutive days of higher temps!

Congrats to MCD!!!
I am so frustrated with my body, because I just don't know if I o'ed. :( FF gave me a coverline on CD20, but took it away when I plugged in a lower temp from today. Not that it matters because if I am o'ing on CD20 or thereabouts I am out of luck because I have 26 - 27 day cycles, so just cannot sustain a pregnancy with that short a LP.
I got a blazing + OPK on CD16, so it just all makes no sense to me.
I am pretty sure I will get AF by the weekend, I feel *nothing* right now.
I'm just feeling so frustrated with this all more than anything else.

Hello Girls!
I am finally posting in here again! I have been gone on a business trip for 3 1/2 weeks. So, I am terribly behind on this thread.
Congrats to all the BFP's- it sure has been a busy month.
I did not temp while I was gone. So, now I am using CM and OPK results only. But, based on those I think I O'd and I will be testing July 30th.
Can someone remind me how to get this in red again- Thanks.

I broke down and tested again this morning, and definitely got a BFN. Now I'm just sad and confused... I got a BFP on Sunday (albeit light), a questionable BFP on Tuesday, and today I have a BFN. Plus, normally by now I have some spotting or some indication of AF, and so far there's nothing. I just don't know what to think.
The worst part is that my DH just doesn't understand why this is so upsetting. His whole attitude is that if we're pregnant, we are, and if we're not we're not. He just doesn't get why I'd be upset either way. So that's not helping things any.

gmb~ Sorry that things are so frustrating for you as well  I hope since your past your LP that you just implanted late and will get your BFP soon.
Crazyco~ I can't help you, don't know much about reading charts yet. I am sorry that you are going through this uncertainty.
As for me:
I am 3dpo so I did ovulate on Sunday like I thought. FF only gave me a good on the BD analyzer. I guess you pretty much have to BD everyday for it to give you high. Hopefully good was good enough :)
Can you please move me to I Oed and will be testing the week of 7-25 to 7-31.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but we get Dh's SA results today in about 3 hours. I am so nervous about it. DH had as undescended testicle that was corrected when he was 6, but still never fully developed (wow, I know that's TMI, he'd kill me if he saw this post!). Plus, he got a very bad case of pneumonia in December and had a fever of over 103 for a week (a known cause of male infertility). So we are going in today to find out if all his well with him.
I am such a pessimist, I always expect the worst. I am just hoping his count and motility are good enough to do IUI. I have read that if the morphology is bad, then nothing short of invitro will work.

DallasLady - The test I took on Sunday, the line was there right away. The one I took yesterday could definitely be an evap line, because I'd left the test on the counter while I showered and got ready for work, and saw the line after that. But that one on Sunday was definitely there.... it was light but it was there.
Good luck on your SA by the way, I'll be rooting for him and his swimmers. :)

As for me:
BFN this morning. It is still a little early (dpo 11 or 12) but DH has a 5:30 am flight tomorrow and I thought I would test before he had to leave. AF is supposed to show Friday or Saturday so I will only test if AF doesn't show. I purposefully didn't buy any HPTs this month to keep myself from obsessively testing. The only reason I had one this morning is because it came in the box with the CBE OPKs.

I dropped in a week ago or so for a question, and now I have some time to officially join the thread.
My stats:
Me: Melissa, 27
DH: Mark, 30
Married: 09.01.2002
Off BCP: 01.05
Charting Since: 07.05
TTC Since: 04.05

I think I'm waiting to O, but not sure.
This is my first cycle charting and so far I'm a little frustrated. Thursday through Monday, I was working on an event for work, so my sleep pattern was completely off and I was waking up earlier than I usually do. I also keep waking up earlier than my usual temp time (I think it's all stress related and, oddily enough, being overly tired). CM is really confusing to me. I've been charting CM for all 3 cycles.
I hope all of you in limbo right now see lots of rising temps and many BFPs!

CRAP!!! I just wrote a super-long post to EVERYONE and I lost it! Agh, I don't have the energy to do it again right now :(
It's crazy how many of us are stuck in limbo. Liz, Gina, Jane, Kathy, MMHinCA, and anyone else I missed, it makes it so much easier for me to know I'm not the only one. I'm really wondering if heat affects tests' sensitivity, or our own bodies' ability to metabolize hcg.
Me: Another BFN & a slight temp drop, still well above cover. Symptoms galore only getting more intense, with new ones added every day. Yesterday I was so exhausted I went to bed shortly after 7 & finally got up around 6am. I also noticed EWCM last night, and something like it this morning. WEIRD!

I still can't get to everyone, but I have a few comments:
MMHinCA, if AF isn't due until Saturday this wouldn't be an AF-related temp-drop. More like an i-dip temp-drop, especially with your spotting. Don't be down about it! If anything, be excited! Remember, implantation happens on average on CD8-10, but it can be +/- 4 days, or from CD4-14.
Jane, I agree with Amanda that you did not O on CD8. CD12 looks better, and so does CD16 (which, since you weren't notating CM, we can't know for sure) I have tried both OS & FF & I like FF better, but that's just me. I've never put trust in either for CH; I always cross-check on my own.
Ryan, it looks like AF is due tomorrow for both of us!! And Mayhem's just one day later. I'm glad we have buddies for this :).

Congrats to the mystery BFP and to MrsCan'tDecide! Crossing my fingers now for all the current testers. I hope more BFPs show up soon!
I'm on CD11. AF finally left on Sunday, finally, after just about a full week of heavy bleeding. Ick. This is the second month of AF like that, which actually gives me hope that my body is getting back to pre-BCP "normal." I always had heavy AF before then, but not since going off BCP in Feb. Anyway, I've had a little spotting since then - nothing much, but I've been wearing a pantyliner all week just in case b/c it seems to be appearing now and then. Weird?
DH and I are BDing every other day for now, just to cover our bets. He's quite happy with this arrangement! I figure I'll wait till some CM appears and then start using my OPKs.
I'm off to see about getting a link for my charts so you guys can follow along.

Wow lots of activity. As a group, we seem to be having a slow go of it these days. Keep your chins up. I don't have time for full shoutouts, but wanted to say to MMH that I agree with Flygirl 100%. That was my thoughts when you first posted and I looked at your chart. Another vote for implantation dip :D
Also, Lizard Men just don't get it. That is why we have CC to obsess, grieve and celebrate with those who DO understand the ups and downs of this process. It is so cut and dry for many of our DHs. I have even tried to rationalize with myself that if I am pg then it doesn't matter if I wait until day 15, 20 or 30 to test, I will still be pg. It isn't working though (sitting here at DPO10 so ready to test). I am looking at every sign possible to try to figure out if this is our month, and this is my first. Somehow I doubt it gets easier with time. Try to remember that they help balance us out. Your feelings are valid even if your DH has trouble validating them with you.
Welcome to the new faces, and HUGS to all those that are dealing with the dang emotional roller coaster! We are here to listen to vents. I lurk more often then I post, but I am thinking all good thoughts for everyone as I chart stalk multiple times daily (you'd think I'd get that we can only temp 1x/day) :p

About me: Well you can see I have decided to test earlier than what FF says. The reason is that I have had the worst heartburn since Friday, and back pain as well as some nausea. My appetite is GONE! I have never had any of these symptoms prior to AF except some lower back pain but this back pain is smack in the middle of my back! Dallas - I'm so sorry. I know that's not the news you wanted to hear. My DH has low morphology too. My doctor said anything under 14% is considered low. Next cycle we will be starting IUI b/c of the SA results and the fact that we have been TTCing for a year now.
There are three main causes for low morphology -
1) genetic abnormalities
2) heat issues
3) chemical/environment issues
That's great that he is getting a second SA done. Hopefully the results will improve. Major {{{Hugs}}}!!

DH and I talked tonight and I think we're back on the same page. We also found out today that some friends of ours are having a baby -- They just found out a couple of weeks ago. I am trying so hard to be happy for them, but I am so jealous. They have only been married for 3 months, and I don't think they were TTC. It seems like there are so many "oops" babies around us, and it just doesn't seem fair.
Dallas, I'm so sorry the SA didn't yield better results. I hope the 2nd test comes out better.

ShelbyMay ~ Glad to hear you and DH are on the same page and no one is feeling used. My DH felt that way last month. I felt really bad b/c I'm happy with our sex life and wouldn't change a thing. I guess I didn't realize how little time we have to get busy since DS was born and we work opposite shifts.

I didn't have time to update my chart before work, but my temp dropped to barely over CL. AF seems to have started, a day early too. On to the next cycle! I'm surprisingly okay with it, and I think (hope) i'll be much better going forward about not obsessing, so maybe that'll help the cause. well see :)
Threadmistress: Can you please move me to waiting to O? Thanks!
Good luck to everyone else still waiting. Sorry I don't have more time for shout outs!

This morning FF moved my O date from CD18 to CD21. I still have a dotted line but I think CD21 is probably more accurate unfortunately. Just wait and see I guess.
Kopper I was stalking your chart and I think that you did O on CD18. That is when you can see a clear thermal shift. Even though you had two days of fertile CM after CD18 your CL with a CD18 O would be (I think) 97.2. I can't say for sure because I don't have your chart up anymore. That is more in line with your other CL's and 97.6 is. HTH!! I'm pulling for you, your chart sure is looking purty!!
Dallas_Lady I'm sorry to hear about the results of your DH's SA. ((HUGS))
Babylove I'm sorry to see you go, but I totally understand the need to take a step back for your own sanity. Come back if/when you are ready. ((HUGS))
Good luck to everyone that is testing soon. I hope we get some definitive answers!!
As for me, CD 13 and starting to get some EWCM. my temp has stabilized in the past couple days so that's good. With any luck I'll see an O within the next five days or so.

Giovanna I'm sorry to hear about the SA results. :(
As for me, gosh I feel sick tonight. I'm 9DPO, and I've been feeling sick to my stomach for the last 2 hours. I don't think it was my dinner, but who knows? Too scared to get my hopes up again you know? I'm trying soooo hard to not test early (heck I haven't even unpacked my pg tests yet! lol), but it's hard.

Sorry Gina. So frustrating. You are still in it though. We will keep good thoughts headed your way! Lots of long LPs with no answers this time. Flygirl might be right, maybe it is something with the heat or a bad batch of EPTs. . .

Dallas_Lady~ Sorry to hear about the SA. I hope that things with this can get resolved and you will get your baby in no time.
Sorry ladies for all your screwy charts and unknowns
As for me I am on 4dpo. I woke up this morning and put the therm. in my mouth. I really fell back asleep, but I noticed that my mouth was kinda open. The first temp said 97.20. So I temped again because of my mouth and this time stayed semi-awake. The temp was 97.52. I used that one in my chart. Do you think that was the correct thing to do? Or should I use the 97.20 (which is below my coverline)?
