CONGRATULATIONS SUNSHINE!
I am so excited for you!

And a question if I may .... How many DPO were you / which test did you use? Talk about an anniversary gift - our anniversary is 8/29 which will be 9DPO (I think) - and I think that will be too early to test. Eh - I'm getting ahead of myself already - it's only CD 17!

Congrats! - and yay for staying home from work with DH!

Congratulations BerBer and Sunshine!!!! :D

SO incredibly excited for you guys! and jealous too - but just because I want to join you and be a May mommy with you!!

Awesome anniversary present, and so cute that you are taking the day to be together. I can't believe your Dr got you in so fast - I already know mine will make me wait until 6 weeks! My friend is pg and has the same dr... good test run

Forgot to add:

I was so nauseated at lunch today, I could barely eat, I took the majority of it home. The people I went out to lunch with kept asking what was wrong? Hmm is it FPS or RPS? I'll know tomorrow.

ooh - Good luck DelSol - maybe we're on a hot streak!

me -
guessing CD20? Not so successful in the BD department the past 2 days... so not sure any of the "batter" got in. long story... there's been some stress in DH's work and this is not helping. But... I'm hoping I O'd last week when my skin broke out so bad. And last month if I count red my cycle was 32 days long.. so if we bd'd on 8/19, cd 17 we should be covered. but who knows?!

DH leaves today for a business trip and not back until Thursday. So we'll dtd again thurs night and that will probably be it - except for fun and I'll just monitor the 2 ww. I hope I start getting some of those REAL symptoms some of you have been getting!

cross your fingers for me. I really want this to be our month so I dont have to get obsessive, or get more weird AF issues and have to worry about "issues" and charting.

melg
08-22-2006, 01:11 PM
What does M stand for in MBFP?

DelSol
08-22-2006, 01:13 PM
M = Maybe

tealynn
08-22-2006, 01:15 PM
Melg the M stands for Mystery BFP. As in they haven't outted themselves yet.

And BusyBee, I have ESPN but not ESP! You're not the MBFP that I was referring to and neither is Sunshine.

She may not have posted recently but I came across her chart in another thread and clicked on the TTC chart. She may out herself eventually...;)

Congratulations, Sunshine!!!!! :D Happy and healthy nine months to you!!!! That is a very fat BFP for 3w3d - have you already thought about the possibility that you might be having twins? ;)

ceaserbride, welcome! Have you already tested?

looty, I`m sorry that AF really showed. :( Have you already called your doc for a HSG date? I hope that the HSG will do the trick.

melandtim, thank you for asking about my DH. They finally found out what was wrong - he had a dying nerve in another tooth on the same side and had to get a root canal there as well. But since they finally found out the reason for his tooth ache, he feels much better. He even went to work today.
Thatīs great that the test results came back normal. Too bad that you canīt start Clomid before your DHīs SA. Can your DH be put on a wait list for the SA, in case someone calls off his appointment? Maybe that would speed things up.

Ericka, DHīs tooth ache is nearly gone and he is in the mood. I was only worried if his sperm might be influenced badly by the medicine. But I guess weīll start BD tomorrow or the day after.

Delsol, that sounds very promising. Iīm crossing my fingers for you that you can join the others with a BFP tomorrow!

Berber, the next step is to make an appointment with your obgyn if you havenīt already done that.

dancn, what crap have people given you about TTC?

Busy Bee, congratulations and happy and healthy nine months to you! :)

Nothing exciting about me. CD 7 and waiting to start the BD.

Just wanted to congratulate Berber and Sunshine! I haven't joined this thread yet but have been reading along! DH and I are on our 3rd cycle of TTC. I was debating joining b/c I didn't want to get myself too involved and stress myself out! Everyone says you just need to relax - but it's so hard to do that! ;)

Sunshine - I did want to ask...do you think the grapefruit juice helped you to conceive or not?? I drank it last cycle but wasn't sure if I should for this current cycle?

Thanks and maybe I'll come join you girls soon! Good luck testing tomorrow Dana!!!

Bella- I don' t know if his meds would have an effect on him, I know for the female if she is on them, it's not good to get pregnant. Glad to hear that his toothache is almost gone and he is in the mood again. You can only try and hope that the sperm are strong enough to do the swim and aren't doped up from the meds. :)

bellabonga
08-22-2006, 02:10 PM
Farah, I drank it too and had a totally messed up cycle. So it does not work for everyone.

Ericka, too bad that there isnīt anything mentioned about men TTC in those package inserts! :D Itīs probably best to "remove" the old sperm tonight, so that he has fresh ones on Thursday. ;)

Mexico_Bride~You know, I dont know. I say it helped, but what do I know:p It didnt give me EWCM.....in fact, I have never had that. I felt like I had more CM when I didnt drink the juice, but who knows. Sorry........I did eat half a grapefruit for breakfast AND drank the juice tho...

Thanks bellabonga and Sunshine!

In these past 2 cycles I have yet to see any EWCM. I have had the creamy and wet CM but no EWCM from what I can tell. Have any of you other girls TTC not had any EWCM? Maybe I'm just missing it? and not checking enough?

melg
08-22-2006, 03:13 PM
Bella - my dr said it basically doesn't matter what the men do. ie, they can drink, smoke, whatever and does not really affect sperm, just potentially the count (ie . steriods decrease the count) It's just that they have such a short life inside them, you know? You can think of it almost like our eggs - they've been in there this WHOLE time - taken lots of meds/drugs, drinking, etc. and they're still good. Men only have that for a few days.

Sunshine, I htink your sun just got even brighter! Seriously, your posts are almost giddy, and I can tell how big you are really smiling!!! :D So happy for you. Truly beaming. I do hope lots of us get to join you in May!

I'm crossing my fingers... been doing some counting and calculating on various websites, you know, where you put in yoru cycle lenth, last period, etc. and it will tell you when possible conception is and then due date. Oy, I'm going a little crazy. I think maybe conception was supposed to be today, of course all depending on total question marks since last AF was nutty. But I'm going on the day with red. That would mean a cycle of 32 or 33 days, and that means that yesterday and today may have been critical days.... I just hope the 19th was good enough, or better yet, maybe O was last week when i was broken out like a teenager! Best of all, just want to have caught that egg. Not sure if I'm even in the 2ww yet, so when DH gets back on Thursday I'll be waiting!! Hopefully we are already in the 2ww and then can get a bfp?! Yeah, I'm just pulling at straws....

OUr BFPs so far were so calm this month... wonder if that has anything to do iwth it? When did I get so superstitious? WE really have nothing else to go on though, do we?!:o

Girls, I do believe that I am goign to start with the temp thing tomorrow morning. I figure what the hell. Perhaps I will understand more if I do that. Going to buy a thearmete tonight!!!

I'll be doing that if bfn this time... Just realized I really am not due to even test until labor day weekend!? that is actually September! Maybe I will test early? ack! going crazy already. expect a bfn - negative energy!
I may go buy TCOYF tonight...

Anyone know if TCOYF talks aobut 2ww tips?

Wow, Congratulations Ber Ber, Sunshine & Busy Bee!!!

Well I decided not to test this morning yesterday because I was feeling crampy and was sure AF was on it's way last night (always comes in the middle of the night) but woke up this morning with no cramps and no AF on CD28....

Maybe test Friday morning if no AF by then. That would be CD 31. For some reason I really don't want a BFN. I'd rather be disappointed by AF then a BFN although I'm not sure why?? Maybe I'm just trying not to get my hopes up? Still strange though cause I was feeling *so* pms-y yesterday late afternoon and then AF always arrives the next morning...and now I feel nothing....Arg! I just wanna know so bad but don't want to take a HPT right now either!

FSUSammy
08-22-2006, 04:12 PM
Congrats Busy Bee!

MexicoBride'05 - Are you checking your CM internally or externally? If you aren't checking internally I'd highly recommend it just because you will usually find a lot more inside because it tends to not come out.

FSUSammy I have been checking internally but have never noticed any EWCM and I'd think I would know if I had it right? Last cycle seemed to go from sticky to creamy to just wet but no real EWCM??

As with some of the other girls, if this next cycle doesn't work I'm going to try charting too just to make sure I'm ovulating and just to keep track.

I HUGE congrats to Sunshine and Busybee! I am so excited for you both!

I have way too much going on right now so I don't have time to post, but I wanted to update too. I scheduled the HSG and the dr also wants to do a hysteroscopy. That means that we can't have any intercourse for 4 weeks. So I have no chance at a baby next month. A break might be good for us but I wish that break could still be filled with bd'ing. ;) I go in next Tuesday.

I am sorry that I haven't been able to do SOs with the emotions before (Still sometimes) and school starting things have been crazy. I will start getting back to that soon! Promise!:)

I'm glad that we are ending this month with a bang! I've been hanging around reading the thread since I joined and I wanted to pop back in to say congratulations to BusyBee, Sunshine, and BerBer! So excited for all of you!

We are still at it and I am on CD 25. I'm expecting AF on Thursday as my cycles have been pretty consistenly 27 days. The one FPS I have been having is sore boobs! This whole past week they have been sore and that is something that has not happened since I have quit BC in May. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it is hard not to. We have had a lot of pregnancy announcements in the family lately and I want to be next! If I O'ed when I think I did then we definately covered the bases at that time. Waiting is so hard! I hope tomorrow flys by so I can test Thursday or Friday, I'll have to see if I can hold out to test till Friday!

Sunshine
08-22-2006, 08:43 PM
Zhanna~THANK YOU!!

Mexico_Bride~No problem! Not sure if I really helped tho...:) But yah, I also have never had EWCM...

dancn~I'll be sticking around. I wont be posting AS much but I am staying subscribed to cheer you all onfor sure!
Thank you!

melg~Sunshine, I htink your sun just got even brighter! Seriously, your posts are almost giddy, and I can tell how big you are really smiling!!! So happy for you. Truly beaming. I do hope lots of us get to join you in May!
AWEEEEEEEEEEEE! Thank you SO MUCH!!!! I am Definately giddy right now! LMAO! To say the least! I hope lots get to join me as well!
LOL about superstitions!

ceasarbride~Thank You! And I know what you mean about rather seeing AF than a BFN...thats why I didnt test at all the last 2 cycles. It hurt too much.......Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lana~AWE! Thank you so much too! I FEEL like my sun is shining a bit brighter today! :D

looty~Thank you so much!!!!!!!! OMG tho, no BD for 4 weeks? That stinks:( BD would sure help pass the time.....I'm sorry.

metag00~THANK YOU! Good luck to you!!!!!!!

Take Care everyone and GOOD LUCK!

MexicoBride - I never had any EWCM before I got pregnant. Some women will have it and others won't. I was one that never had it with either pregnancy.

Good luck

Congrats to BusyBee!!!!!! H & H 9 months to you!!

Ok, so we were all so down about this thread, almost the end of the month and we had no BFPs, now we have Berber, Sunshine and Busybee and I still know one that is out there that has not updated with us yet, so thats 4 BFPs in just a couple days, how great!!

I probably won't be able to test until around Labor Day, which is our anniversary, I am pretty sure I O'ed yesterday (although thats what I said 2 weeks ago too:rolleyes: ) but I had a ton of EWCM for two days and its completely gone today, I took some OPKs and th line yesterday morning was just barely lighter than the test line, then in the afternoon it was much lighter and today it was completely gone, so I missed the surge, I'm sure it I would have tested 2 days ago it would have been positive. Back to the 2ww, I'm really going to try not to obsess as much, all that obsessing I did the last couple weeks over nothing, except I think the sore BBs may have been a sign of Oing.

melandtim
08-23-2006, 04:51 AM
Wow I missed alot yesterday afternoon!

CONGRATS SUNSHINE AND BUSYBEE!! Hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months!! I hope we keep the BFP's rolling!!

Bella -I am so glad they found out what was wrong with your DH's tooth, sounds painful. Glad he is on the mend :)

Chelsea - anniversary testing seems to be working so fingers crossed it works for you too!

Looty - glad you were able to get your HSG scheduled but no BD for a month

I'm on CD 11. Lots of EWCM this AM. I have been drinking tons of water and taking the robitussin and I think its working. This is the most EWCM I have ever had. last month I O'd on CD13 so we will see. We have been successful at BD'ing every other day :p

Just curious, which web sites are you using?

Also, I've been getting really low temps...like 96.2 and then today was the highest at 96.8, anyone else have these low temps? This is my first month actually charting so I'm kinda a newbie!! :) Thanks for you help!

Sunshine- Thank you! I'm so glad you understand what I mean. My journal buddies are begging me to test but I think I'll wait till tomorrow morning.

Chelsea- Good luck. Crossing my fingers that these two weeks go by quickly for you!

Mel&Tim- Sounds prommising! Good luck!

Okay, CD 29 and no AF:) Now just a couple things have been running through my mind that I'm confused about and I was hoping that someone here could clarify for me.
1. I've been having CM for the past two days which I thought was a symptom on menstration beginning but now obviously with no AF I'm not sure. Does CM continue if you're pregnant?
2. I was having cramping and bloating identical to AF symptoms on Monday and was *sure* AF was coming Tuesday but nothing yesterday or lastnight. I've heard of people having cramping then getting a BFN but I always thought it was slightly different than AF cramping??

FSUSammy
08-23-2006, 05:44 AM
MexicoBride'05 - That's great that you are checking internally. You might want to look into drinking Green Tea. I don't like the taste of it so I bought them in pill form and took it one day and had lots of CM the next day. You can also try Evening Primrose Oil (an herb) but you can only take that until you O since it can cause contractions in your LP.

looty - Sorry that you have to go on a break. You can join the break club with me!

metag00 - Good luck to you and hopefully AF will stay away!!!

Monty - I use Ovusoft primarily for tracking my charts. This cycle I also used FF because I'm experimenting with temping orally and vaginally so I wanted a way to show the differences in the 2 charts. My temps used to be as low as yours the first few months after I went off the pill but now the lowest I go is in the 97's.

Me - I've decided that I'm going to call my gastroenterologist today to see if there is any way to get an eariler endoscopy done. I know Sept 8th isn't that far away but I'm getting impatient! LOL Plus I'm still not feeling 100% yet with the acid reflux.

Sam

FSUSammy
08-23-2006, 05:46 AM
ceaserbride - Some women get CM during their LP when they are PG. So that is a possibility. Are you sure you O'd? Was the cramping on one side?

Sam

DelSol
08-23-2006, 05:55 AM
Just a quick update before I leave for work.

I tested and got a BFN, should have known when my temp dropped big time this morning. I saw a little pink when I went to the bathroom the second time so I know AF is coming.

:(

I'll be back later on with some shout outs.

RobynScott
08-23-2006, 05:58 AM
DelSOl - I'm sorry for the temp drop and that you didn't get the results you wanted.

Is it still too early to tell maybe?

ceaserbride
08-23-2006, 06:05 AM
Sam- Well I really have no way of being *sure* I O'd since I'm not temping or using OPK's. Cramping wasn't on one side. Cramping might even be the wrong word. Before AF comes I always get soreness and bloating in the midsection and that is what if felt like again...It's more of a refered pain then a specific "spot"...oh I should just test!

DelSol- sorry about the temp drop.

DelSol
08-23-2006, 06:05 AM
Robyn ~ I was 14DPO, yesterday was CD28 ~ 13DPO. So I don't think it was too early to tell but I will watch AF and see what happens.

melandtim
08-23-2006, 06:08 AM
DelSol - sorry about the temp drop. I know it is possible to get a dip during your LP when you are PG. I looke at charts last month on FF and almost all PG charts showed a good size drop for 1 day during their LP.

Sammy - good luck, hope you are able to get your appointment moved up sooner :)

Wow - Finally!!!!!!

Congratulations Berber, Sunshine, and Melody!!!!!

looty - know that I am continually praying for your grandfather

Berber - I was tearing up over your DH's reaction - so cute!

DelSol - so sorry about temp drop and spotting - AF stay away!

melg - Again, teared up when I read "may mommies"....why? I do not know. But it has such a nice ring!

me - well FF is saying I'm 9DPO, which would mean DH's swimmers would have to be crazy strong. But, if one of my temps was a fluke, I could be only 3 DPO....and have good timing BD-wise. I don't know...not stressing!!!

Yep, Robyn if I can hold out until then... we will be testing together. I was trying to figure it out.... I think I could test 8/31? We'll see.

dancn226 ~ it sure is a big bummer.

melg ~ thanks, I was hoping for a BFP, my chart was looking so good until this morning. I guess it wasn't my month.

motray36 ~ thanks, I can only hope she'll stay away.

Sorry if I missed anyone!

Me ~ still bummed about the BFN. TMI alert... I really thought AF was here this morning on the way in to work. I felt a gush of wetness and I get into work and nothing, not even spotting so I'm really confused. Needless to say I didn't have a pad so I had to use a tampon, just wanted to be covered and not have any accidental leaking. I'll be checking later on to see if AF did show but what is going on with my body? So I fixed my chart to say spotting to see what happens.

DelSol - I know how frustrated you are feeling - that's what happened to me last month (really, the beginning of this month) We were on vacation, I couldn't figure out if AF was there or not - it was driving me nuts! Not the most exciting way to be walking around Epcot :o (

It took a few days for my AF to show up. Turns out, my AF was five days EARLY the previous month (beg. of July) and five days LATE this month (beg. of August) - I think my body just wanted to get back on schedule. It was so annoying not knowing what was going on (and trying to figure out if the BFN's were just 'too early').

I hope you get a definitive answer either way soon. Once I knew for sure, I felt a lot better.

melg -you said you might test - when are you thinking O was? I am thinking I was sometime this past Sat night / Sunday.

AF is due 9/3 so I think I will wait until at least then. A BFN before that and you just keep torturing yourself with the "is it too early?" - well, at least I would. So, I'll try to hold out till 9/3 which would be 14 DPO I think.

Anniversary is 9/29 - tempting to check at 9DPO but I don't think I want to be disappointed.

Wow- thank you all so much for the congrats! How exciting, especially since my DH does not want to tell anyone IRL for a while...

I need some advice- I am having cramps. just mild, but I am a little worried about them. Have you had cramps after a BFP? what was the result?

thanks!

Congratulations Melody! Happy and Healthy 9 months!!! :D

I had cramps for the first few weeks after getting a BFP. According to my OB, it's completely normal - your body is adjusting and everything is stretching to accomodate for the growing uterus. I was told that as long as there is no bleeding, slight cramping is just a part of the process.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I was here. A HUGE congrats to Sunshine, BerBer, BusyBee, and Melody! What an explosion of BFPs in the last few days.

I am going nuts. I am on CD40. My after-BFP cycles had evened out to 33 days before this cycle, so I'm a week late now. However, I stopped charting after last cycle, so I have no idea when or if I O'd. I have taken tests, all BFNs, yet I don't feel any AF-is-coming signs. I had some bad cramps last Monday, so I thought that was it, but no. However, I also don't have any undeniable PG symptoms...I really wish I knew what was going on!!

Congratulations Melody! Happy and Healthy 9 months to you :)

Sadie - How confusing for you! I would be going nuts as well. I hope you get a resolution soon one way or the other.

Robyn, Melg and Chelsea - AF is due for me on 9/7 so I'll be testing a little later than you all. I hope we get a second wave of BFP's in a couple of weeks :D

Me - Not much going on except some BDing ;)

melg
08-23-2006, 02:22 PM
Robyn - I'm so new at this, not really sure when I O'd. I'm kind of thinking 8/17 or sometime before 20th.
So if that is right I was thinking I could test as early (though you're right it could be frustrating) as 30th.

My skin broke out (big time) on the 17th. I figured that was a pretty big sign of O.
It is really pretty clear right now (although I feel 2 under the surface).

Also today on the way to get myself some lunch I had pains in my lower abdomen on the left side. Remember, my major breakout was on the left side of my face. So... could it be a sign? I really hope so!!!
Of course - having not read tCOYF or really doing major research, not sure exactly where I should be feeling "something". Not sure if this was low enough. It could totally have been gas or hunger pains. ack! we analyze everything!

Just wanted to pop in and say I just got out of the Ladies room and NO AF, NO CRAMPS, NOTHING. I have no clue what is going on. Maybe AF will make her appearance tomorrow.

Delsol looking at previous charts of yours it looks like the day after the big temp drop your temp bounces back up along with AF, I really hope she doesn't show at all for you but I would expect that *if* she is coming (which we all hope she won't) it would be tomorrow. Fingers still crossed for you though, maybe you just had a late implantation or something

Congrats to Melody! I think that as long as there is no bleeding and the cramping isn't extreme you are fine.

I really apologize but I probably won't be in here much until the beginning of next week. With school starting, family stuff going on, and having to clean my house really well for visitors this weekend I am so busy! I am still reading along as I can and am rooting for everyone.

Sorry I haven't posted more. Congrats to all the BFP!!

So, I stopped BCP in April. My last three cycles where 29 days. I should have got AF on Tuesday, I didn't so I tested the next am, BFN, I didn't get it Wednesday, so I tested this morning again, another BFN. I don't really feel like AF is coming, but I should be getting a positive by now, shouldn't I? I just want to know either way!

Chelsea524
08-24-2006, 08:32 AM
Sunshine that is too funny, I had a dream of everyone here last night that we all got together and everyone got BFPs except for me, so hopefully we are both right!

Lilone its possible that you O'ed late this cycle, it does happen, I hope you get a BFP in a few days though!!

Robyn the 2ww always seems to drag out, especially this month were for me it has turned into the 4ww, I hope it flys by for you and this is your last 2ww

Delsol Wow, your temp really came back up, even above your coverline, and looks like this lp is a lot longer, I hope yesterdays temp was just a fluke, if AF doesn't show today will you test tomorrow?

Well, as posted above I had a strange dream last night that we all got together and everyone got a BFP except me, it was such a vivid dream too, it seamed so real, crazy. I was thinking that I might use a cheap test this morning just in case the EWCM I got a few days ago was a fluke but forgot, I really don't feel pg so I don't know why I was even thinking of testing, oh well, I will do my best to hold out for at least 8-10 days.

Sunshine

And hey, I didnt really feel pergnant at all!!!!! This could be it!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK:)

Alright, I was not going to say anything about my dream because I thought it was my mind grasping at straws but in my dream I actually was pregnant and it was a boy. I remember touching my tummy and being so happy.

Normally when I have dreams about pregnancy, I am always giving birth, never see the baby but always been told it's a girl.

Sunshine & Chelsea524 ~ very scary!

Chelsea524 ~ I think I'm just going to wait and see. If she's not here by Monday, I'll call the doctor. Usually after my temp jump from the big dip she arrives, if you look at my chart pattern analyzer, the blue line for June, I had the same scenario then she arrived the next day and you are right the LP is a lot longer than normal. I don't get why she's so late when I got 2 BFN's, maybe it's stress.

melandtim
08-24-2006, 09:45 AM
Hmm when we were first discussing TTC I had dreams constantly about being PG. Haven't had any in months though. COme to think of it I haven't had any dreams lately at all.

DelSol - a thought, I am certainly not a chart expert or even knowledgeable but I noticed that you had a couple temps missing before FF says you O'd. Perhaps those were higher which would have raised your coverline and therefore maybe the 2nd temp rise was your O, making you a couple days later than you think????

Wow! Yay for another BFP! Congratulations Kiki:)

Sunshine - Too funny about all of the pg dreams going around!

Robyn - Sorry about the early obsessing, I'm right there with you!

LilOne - Hope you get a BFP soon. I've heard that sometimes after going off BCP's you can be completely normal and then BAM! have a weird cycle a few months later. I hope that's not the reason but thought you might want to know.

Chelsea - I LOVE your dream, except for the part where you are the only one without the BFP. What's up with that?!? ;)

Delsol - Sorry about AF :(

Myself - Well, I'm probably 1 DPO since I was all bloaty, sore, and had pains in that area yesterday. So hubby and I made sure to get another BD in last night to cover our bases. Hope it worked! I find that I'm much happier in the 2ww than in the two weeks leading up to ovulation. Just the anticipation that I might be pg and day dreaming that I am makes me happy. Okay, I know I'm totally weird  .

Unfortunatly it was a BFN anyway, but still no sign of AF. Grrrr! Why the unussually long cycle now??
So this is probably the first time in my life I wish AF would just hurry up and come so we can start trying again next month! But I suppose it's not over till AF comes since I may have just O'd very late and it's too soon for a +test??
So I'm on board for SWH in September! Now if AF would just hurry up!

Sorry about AF Del Sol... and any others who she has visited! And for those of you waiting, if it's not to be a bfp, I hope she gets here and leaves fast so you can start BDing!

I agree, it is the first time in your life you hope to have shorter cycles so you dont' have to wait as long. Before I wanted long cycles so that I wouldn't get AF as often!

me - right now just waiting. Weird stuff though. Been wet down there for the past few days... I figure it is becuase of left overs from the BD? YOu know? sort of tmi... Anyway, DH has been gone since Tues. morning, so no BD. yesterday I think was relatively dry... today all of a sudden getting wet feeling... need to go look. I know it's not red.
hmmm. wish I knew what all of these little things meant. REALLY hoping this is our month. Won't know for at least another week I think though.

I talked to my closest friend (a guy) from high school yesterday. So funny to see what different places we are in life. He's single and we talked about sex. We get along so well! LMAO about the life of a single guy. Didn't give up the info that we are TTC, it still sort of amazes me that we are "grown up". I still feel like all of that was yesterday, yet it wasn't and we're getting ready to be parents.
We talked about how funny that our friends are getting married and a few having babies. I did tell him "One of these days that's going to be me calling you up and telling you I'm pg" he said that wouldn't be weird. I think it is!

Tenny
08-24-2006, 05:48 PM
ceaserbride Sorry about the BFN! I hope that it is just too soon for you!

melg I know it is so weird it seems like just yesterday I was trying everything NOT to get pg!! How times have changed!

Lanapoo Hope you caught the egg. Sending you lots of patience in your TWW!

I'm currently in my TWW. I'm either 6DPO or 3DPO, not sure which or maybe some where in between. If I'm 6 DPO then I have a chance of catching the egg if I'm 3 DPO I don't think I even have a pray! I really don't think this is our month and I'm kind of bummed about it. But I'm already looking towards the next cycle. Made a consultation appointment today for an OB/GYN close to my house. My current DR (the one who delieved my son) is about 45 min- hour away. I think it would be too much of a pain to go to appointments especially working around my toddler. I hope I like this DR, I figured it never hurts to go talk to them. My appointment isn't until the end of Sept so I have some time to come up with some good questions.

hi! Quiet morning!

I umm... think I figured out that O definitely occured. Last night DTD was kind of uncomfortable deep in. It felt like he was hitting something, and kind of hard. My only conclusion is my cervix. So... CP hard and low - must be. I found that pretty interesting since I never was really aware of my cervix before. Now though I recognize that in the past (like before bcp, when I was young) when sex was sort of uncomfortable that was probably it part of the time!

Now... still not sure if that means O was more recent. HOpefully not since the past 5 days we really didn't get Bding in!

Last time was Saturday, and then also kind of shallow on Tuesday morning.

Cross your fingers.

Hi Ladies, congrats to all those BFP's!!

I have a rookie question here. I bought Target OPK's and started using them a couple of days ago. The directions say to wait a few hours after urinating before testing. I found this hard to do, so today I used first morning urine. The line was definitely darker than the last couple tests, and I think it is as dark as the line you compare to. Could this mean that I tested positive for ovulation, or is this because I used first morning urine????

Ericka_Jarett
08-25-2006, 06:28 AM
pugzy - for ovulation tests you are better to test anytime between 10am-10pm, not using first morning urine. Actually best time is after 1pm.

pugzy

LilOne Sorry about AF!!

pugzy Sorry I know nothing about OPK's, but I don't think I could hold my pee that long either!

melg It is funny when you start TTC all the things you never realized before! I hope you were able to catch the egg!!

So okay, I thought I was in my TWW, but then last night I had EWCM. I'm so confused!! I don't think I have ever Oed this late. But I guess it could have been delayed with me being sick and all! But today is CD18 and I usually have a 27-28 day cycle. So I guess only time will tell!!

melg
08-25-2006, 08:01 AM
Lilone - I'm going to start temping too if this isn't our month, but I'm still holding out that it is. Sorry AF showed for you.

Tenny - I know, I am learning so much, and haven't even broken down to buy TCOYF yet... but I do admit to searching on the internet for this stuff and searching here too.
Sorry about the crazy signs and not knowing where you are in the cycle - I'm right there with you. Hopefully in 10-14 days we'll both get BFPs!!

Tenny
08-25-2006, 08:12 AM
melg I would highly recommend TCOYF! I learned so much from it. However I lent my copy to a friend and since no one knows we are TTC again I don't want to tip her off by asking for it back. I hope you are right about BFPs in a couple weeks!!

melg
08-25-2006, 08:54 AM
Thanks tenny, I am going to get it. Either way, BFP or not since I'd still like to learn if we do get a bfp. I just didn't want to get it and start analyzing too much our first couple months ttc - figured I should try not stressing too much first and follow the directions of my Dr. Her advice: Just enjoy.
Not sure that it's quite that simple, but you know, didn't want to be way too aware at first.
Now we're past that point though! I'm pretty aware if I'm thinking about CP now during DTD!

Perhpas this weekend... though I'm wondering if I should wait until after 2ww... no sense in learning about things I can't change and stressing me out, right?

any advice for teh 2ww?

Where is everyone?

Ericka_Jarett
08-25-2006, 09:04 AM
pugzy - I never held it that long in order to test, I did try to wait at least 1 hour and not drink too much right before taking the test, just so it would be a stronger concentration.

melg - just enjoy the time and go on with things like normal, that is what I always did during the 2WW. For charting you don't have to be super extreme if you don't want. I would just mark whatever CM I saw on the tp, never went inside to check as I don't need to have an infection introduced, I temped in the mornings and that was all really. I charted since my doctor asked me to since I wasn't sure I was Oing. As my periods before I got pregnant the first time I got AF 4 times a year (naturally) I did learn how long my cycles were and that I seemed to O on CD22 just about every month. The month I got pregnant I was temping and writing CM, but just for the doctor since I was seeing her in February and it was Dec/Jan. The week I was O'ing hubby actually asked me what day I was, I had to look it up on the chart because I didn't know what I was. Hubby was shocked I wasn't trying to jump him when I found out the day. Said I am just going to let things happen as they will, I am tired of worrying about trying to get pregnant. Well lo and behold that was our week and now we are less than 6 weeks away from my due date. So as you can see the relax and have fun method works as well.

Good Luck to you and all the other ladies on here. I'm still a cheerleader for you all.

Chelsea524
08-25-2006, 09:09 AM
melg, no advice for the 2ww, I am terrible at it, I was so positive I must be pg last week and turns out I hadn't even O'd yet, just try to keep busy with other stuff. I have TCOYF and I like it a lot, I don't plan on charting and it still has a lot of info, although DH pointed out it is very much against Drs and men in general in some sections, but it has a lot of great info.

Tenny, I feel your pain, I thought I was in the 2ww and then got EWCM, it is possible to get some after O so you may still have O'd, but with me I should have had AF or a BFP by now so I know I didn't O earlier like I first thought. Our bodies are so confusing!!

LilOne, sorry about AF, hoefully she will leave quick so you can start BDing soon

pugzy, I don't think the 4hrs is manditory, you are supposed to try and hold it for a while so its more consintated, just hold it as long as you can.

Ok, it seems all the chatty girls are the ones that got the BFPs, we all need to be more chatty, its to quiet!

So I didn't even realize until yesterday that this is going to be another long cycle, well, already is but with O not happening until at least CD 32 that means a cycle at least 46 days long, I really hope that I did in fact O on CD 32, I am now starting to worry that I have PCOS, I have all the symptoms for it. I have my anual check up at the end of sept so I guess if I'm not pg by then I will ask my dr to check for PCOS and even if that comes up ok I will ask for some help with these long cycles. I know I should really chart but part of me really doesnt want this process to get that technical, plus DH is very against that.

Chelsea524

Hi girls - I'm chatty too - and no BFP! Just reading along b/c I don't really have time for SO's from work (well, I should be working anyway) ;) - just realized that something that I thought was due Tuesday is due MONDAY - so guess who will be working even more than she thought over the weekend

RE: CM after you think you O'ed - that happened to me last month and I thought maybe it was an early PG symtom - turns out AF was 5 days late (whihc never happens!) - and BFN - so I think last month I O'ed late. Funny thing - the previous month, I was 5 days early (which also never happens - I attributed it to traveling and the marathon) - so I guess my body just wanted to get back on schedule.

As for me - still a freak in the 2WW. I've been kind of crampy yesterday and today (not bad - kind of like having an upset stomach) - and I keep thinking "ooh, could it be implantation cramping? is there such a thing" - and then this morning thinking that I am actually hoping for implantation spotting.

Freak - thy name is Robyn! :)

I also think, if it doesn't happen this month, I will probably try to chart next month (I already have the BBT - just not the consistent wake up times) - because I would really like September to be the month.

So I'm here - I'm chatty - and I'm obsessing :)

good luck everyone!

ps - melg - I had the same cervix thing on Sat - I was like WHOA! and I wondered what it meant but I couldn't remember where CP needed to eb for O.

Also, I got positive OPK's Friday night and Saturday afternoon, so who knows?

Thanks Chelsea. Yup we are hoping to wait until I am at least 36w 4d along before baby decides to make an appearance. (My shower is when I am 36w 3d, hate it being so late, but I can't change that, don't want it after when he gets a chance of catching a cold either)

Hope that Ber and Sunshine get some company from you ladies in their thread. (I helped to set it up, I was so excited :) )

I'm here following along, just busy at work and can't post too much. I need to meet with my boss and I have a new person starting on Monday so I need to get the new hire packet ready. Plus we are in desperate need for an IT Supervisor and my month long of searching resumes on dice.com is ending soon so I need to pray I find someone they like and if the IT Director would read emails, I'd have a better idea of what resumes she likes.

Plus not much is going on, AF is here so just waiting for her departure.

I will try to get back after I meet with my boss.

Ok, it seems all the chatty girls are the ones that got the BFPs, we all need to be more chatty, its to quiet!
LMAO Chelsea!!!! I Know I DO post alot!!!!! LOL! You should see the May Mommies thread, its almost all me:p

Robyn~Your CP is HIGH when you are due to O....mine stayed high after O until I got my BFP. But I know it is different for everyone when yuo are actually preggers!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
We are leaving tonight for Calgary! We booked a really nice room with a mountain view! We are looking forward to spending the weekend relaxing! Well, and touring. We are going to the zoo and the science center etc! Should be fun! I cant believe its our 1st anniversary already!

Sorry DelSol and LilOne about AF :(

Melg - the first few 2ww I drove myself nuts. Last month I decided to not worry about it. I think I was trying to psych myself out thinking if I don't worry about I will get pg, didn't work :p

I have been using those OPK and nothing at this point. I have tried taking them a couple times a day and still nothing. My big thing is I am a huge water drinker so I have to pee constantly plus I hate not drinking a whole lot before as well!

Me - CD, temps still low, but getting a couple twinges so I think O is coming. need to get busy :p

melg I hear ya about not wanting to obsess. I charted to get pg with my DS and I drove myself and my DH CRAZY!! So I really don't want to go that route this time.

Chelsea524 Yes our bodies are so confusing! All these little twinges and stuff you file away hoping it is a sign that something is happening. Sorry this is such a long cycle for you!

RobynScott I really hope this is your month and you don't have to start charting!!

melandtim Hopefully O is right around the corner!!

So I'm here - I'm chatty - and I'm obsessing

I'm right there with you!! If I start being more chatty does that mean I'll get a BFP sooner?? I hope so!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Ceaserbride - Sorry about the BFN. Hopefully you just O'd late.

Melg - I know what you mean about friends being in different places in life. When I told my single best friend (since age nine) that we were TTC she responded with "weird" :p

Tenny - What a confusing cycle you're having. I'm not very good about paying attention to CM all through the cycle but noticed that I'm back to sticky so I'm pretty sure I O'd.

Pugzy - ITA with everyone else, just try to hold it as long as you can. I've gotten positives with only waiting for an hour or two.

LilOne - Sorry about AF :(

Ericka Jarett - Thanks so much for cheering us on! I really appreciate your support :)

Chelsea - Sorry about the long cycle!

Robyn - LOL If you're a freak then so am I!

Sunshine - Love the new avatar (although I admit I miss the sun ;) ). I hope you have a very happy anniversary on Sunday!

Myself - CD16 and probably 1 or 2 DPO. Not much going on, except my obsessing during the 2ww is back in force. I'm not obsessing about symptoms though because I realize that they are a crock of sh*t and change every single month to make you think you are pg when you are really not (wow, holy bitterness Batman!). So my obsessing is more along the lines of daydreaming, message board reading, etc., LOL.

HA - me too! I am tempted to test with an early test on Tuesday (which would only be 9 DPO) on Tues for our anniversary - but probably I should just wait until the weekend. Man - last month I only had time to obsess for one week! *lol*

I don't think this is it - but in all honesty, I really just have no clue! *lol*

Hee hee! :D Glad to see more activity now! I was missing you ladies! I admit, I was thinking the same thing - all the BFPs were our chatty ones. Glad that they're not the only ones, and also glad you're sticking around to cheer too!

ERicka - have been meaning to tell you, love your avatar. Where did you get it? or was it created for you? I want to find a "doll" of me too. :)

LAna - ITA! I am trying to look for symptoms, but I don't think I have any, other than weird stuff that is probably always there so now I'm convinced none of it will mean anything ... trying to not care anymore.
Also, is it weird that I'm the one that thinks it's weird that I'm married for a few years already and I'm now TTC? I still feel like I am 23! (strategically determined since I htink I'm younger than I am, but I know I graduated college - so it must only be a year later!?)

Robyn - hang in there. I know what you mean about wanting to test for your anniv, but IMO you should wait and not frustrate yourself more on that day.... easier said than done, I realize. Your mind is telling you if there's a chance you get a BFP, it would be great to celebrate. and if it's a BFN, you'll just know it was too early. but then, you'll think what if it's really a bfn, and be so down that it's not a bfp... Ok, that's just my thinking....

I checked hte calendar - I've not been "charting' per se, but I have been tracking certain things I notice. Given certain indications I htink 8/20 was a critical day. Not quite sure if it was fertile or O, or what, but whatever... so I think the day to test for me will be 8/31 or later that labor day weekend. would be fun to have a little secret when we go to get togethers that weekend!

cross-posted w/ charting thread.

I'm hoping to avoid a set back with next month's BDing.

I was talking to MIL last night and she said how she wants to come down to go shopping at our mall but she decided not to come down this weekend since she is back in physical therapy (meanwhile I'm thinking didn't know you coming down this weekend, must ring DH's neck). So she said she'd like to come down after Labor Day, with charting I can figure out when my fertile time will be and it's the week of Labor Day more towards the end of the week. So I nicely say well why don't you come down the week of the 13th, meaning that Friday the 15th because all the kids will be back in school by then. Plus she isn't ruining my BDing time. :p

Thanks Ericka!

Del Sol - eek, I hope she will delay her trip! And try not to wring Dh's neck - you um... kind of need him :p

me - just did some searching. being that we were so.good! about bd'ing every other day (if not every) for a few weeks, I was thinking really positive. But as you know if you've read my obsessive posting (and if not, feel free to skip - I'm crazy!) we had "situations" which got us off track. So... now since I am obsessing, checking to see what my most fertile days were, and we may have been messing up at some critical times. I know you only need 1 lucky swimmer... but chances are down I think. But... who knows. again, I'm just guessing since last AF showed for all of 6 hours, and only brown spotting for the week immediately before and after. ugh!!! so frustrating.

Sorry that I have been MIA but I was kind of busy with other things. Now Iīm really tired (here it is already 10.30pm) and I have decided to go to bed earlier today. So Iīll do the SO tomorrow.

We managed to BD yesterday night although I was totally not in the mood. Not the greatest thing but I didnīt want to miss out in case I O early. Tonight Iīm not really in the mood either and DH is very tired too, so weīll see. I have decided not to shell out the $32 for the OPKs. If I donīt O at all this month, it would be such a waste of money. So we will try to BD as much as possible and I will have another blood draw on CD 21. If it is as bad as last monthīs, I will start Clomid in September or October.

Melg - have you taken a PG test? Is it possible you are already PG? My friend thought she had her period - a few weeks later, thought she had a stomach bug - turns out she was 8 weeks PG!

Now here she is - 23 weeks PG with identical twin boys! just a thought ...

melg

Yep, Robyn I checked and no, not pg. I tested a week and a half ago, so it had plenty of time to be a bfp.

Thanks ERicka, I am going to check it out. Is it only preggos?

A laugh for the night....

Ladies, my hairdresser had me peeing my pants tonight. She asked me if we were trying for babies and I said yes (she's not gonna run into my family so I didn't care). So she said do you want to hear something that will definitely get you pregnant? So I said sure. She's like hold on to you hat and she's laughing. So I said are my curls gonna go straight, she said yup! She saw this on Discovery Channel, many years ago, considering her daughter is now 4 years old. She goes you need to let your husband have his orgasm first and then you have your orgasm, you'll have to be creative since hubby will be soft. :o She told me the sperm will form a pool in your cervix and then when you have your orgasm your cervix will suck up the sperm. She had been trying for a few years to have her daughter and she did what she saw on Discovery Channel and she got pregnant. She goes they actually showed this happening on Discovery Channel and then she's like who signs up for that to be taped and watched?!?!?!

I just might try this method out next month and see what happens. :p

I hope someone got a laugh over this.

Enjoy the weekend Ladies!

Well ladies, the sore boobs, and the face breakouts were a clue! This is our 4th month at the TTC game and it's finally happened. This afternoon I tested and got a BFP!!!

I still can't believe it! AF was due yesterday and she was a no show. I thought, well, 28 days isn't too late (even though my last two cycles were 27 days) so I held out testing this morning. But when I left work today, still no AF. So I went to the store, bought a Clear Blue Easy, still with the intention that I was not going to take it till tomorrow morning. I got home and told hubby that still no AF and asked him if she thought I should test before we went out to dinner or wait till tomorrow morning. He said go ahead and test and see what happens (there were two tests in the box i bought). It didn't take much convencing. We waiting the two minutes and sure enough, there was a very dark line. We just looked at eachother with big grins on our faces and started laughing. I'm so excited, happy, anxious, giddy, nervous, and still in disbelief.

Even though I haven't posted a whole lot I've read along ever since May and wanted to thank all you awesome ladies! Ya'll are a great group! Baby dust to all!!

Well if we are just having sex and doing nothing else, then he will have th orgasm first. If we are doing other things first it is me, it's very hard for me to have an orgasm during sex. But you should O each time because the cervix will contract and bring up the sperm to catch that egg (or at least that is what my hairdresser said).

Hey Mel,

I'm here too - supposed to be working, definitely still obsessing!

TMI here - last night, I had a tiny bit of red blood, and then red with mucous (ok, way TMI - sorry!) when I wiped - and all I could think was hmm - 6-7 DPO, could this be implantation spotting? I'm sure it's all in my head (like last month) and I am just driving myself nuts! Anniversary is Tuesday but I am going to hold out until Saturday to test (assuming AF does not show early - she is due Sunday).

I figure what good will it do for me to know during the week anyway right? Might as well find out (good or bad) when I have time on the weekend.

Was re-reading TCOYF this weekend - now that I understand a lot more, it's much more interesting exciting to me - I'm going to start taking my temps now and get ready to chart next month - I told DH I'm really hoping Sept. will be our month - a June baby would be awesome! (well, of course, so would a May one! - well, anytime will be great, right? )

Hope you're having a good weekend!

Sorry for not doing SO's now - back to work (and the Emmy's) for now - and of course, back to / continuin to obsess :)

I will be in here more in the next few days but I am super busy right now. I had company in (to see g-pa that is ill) this weekend and so I have to do all my lesson planning for the week tonight.

I am rooting for all of you that are in the 2ww. Seems that we have 2 sets of cycles here. One that is just getting over AF and the other that is about to test in about a week and a half to 2 weeks. I am hoping that I will be able to be in here more often again soon. It has just been a crazy time.

Sorry that I have been MIA but I had a weekend busy with home improvement projects, cooking for my parents and keeping DD entertained while it was raining cats and dogs.

Congratulations and happy and healthy nine months, metag00!

Good luck with your laparoscopy, Jess!

We have BD on CD 9 and CD 11 so far and had some issues and arguments about more BD because DH was fairly tired. I have had no signs of ovulation so far and since it is already CD 13, I fear that this might be another anovulatory cycle. :( I have tried to take my temperature this cycle but failed miserably. I started on CD 3, got up to write down my temperature and wasnīt sure anymore if my temperature was 36.37 or 36.73 (celsius) which is a huge difference. The thermometer I used was naturally the only one we own without a memory function. From CD 4 on, I forgot to take my temperature at all. So as long as my obgyn doesnīt demand it, I think charting isnīt the right thing for me... I hope to get DH to BD tonight again and I also hope that I will O this cycle.

RP from Charting thread:

Hey ladies. No time for s/o's right now. I'm 12 DPO today. I have a feeling AF is on the verge of coming. Just wish she'd arrive already. My temp dropped this morning so I'm not sure if she'll come today or not.

We are actually watching the weather very closely over here. We are in the path of Tropical Storm Ernesto. They are saying it is going to upgrade to a Hurricane once it comes off of Cuba. We'll see if that happens or not. I might be leaving work early to go get gas and some essentials that I don't have at home just in case this storm does get stronger. Gotta love living in Florida!

Mel- Yay for every other day! We were pretty good but then it was hard at the end (and DH traveled). Hopefully you will O tomorrow and catch that egg!!

Good luck Jess - hope you get good answers!

Me - nothing new. Just waiting to figure it out. My bbs are starting to get sore - could be a sign of AF coming for me though. And my skin is breaking out again. Robyn I hope that is implantation spotting!!!

Me, CD 39 and I think 7 dpo, I've had a bit of cramping the last couple days, nothing major though, other than that nothing new, I will be testing on Sunday if AF hasn't shown by then, that would be about 13 dpo I think, I was going to hold out and test monday which is our anniversary but I found out I have to work that day and I really don't want to find out and then have to go to work so Sunday it will be.

Hi everyone....just back from my SIL's wedding in NJ. AF showed this morning, but DH and I are secretly relieved because we got offered a 2 year old lab that we brought home and had a heck of a time sleeping lst night (probably a 1/2 hour total!). RobynScott I hope the spotting is implantation!!

Nothing too exciting with me. I have been feeling heavy in my uterus (if that even makes sense) almost like AF is about to come. Also feeling really bloating, therefore feeling fat today! I have also had some waves of nausea! Hoping theses are all good signs, but most likely not! I really don't think this is our month!

melg
08-28-2006, 02:50 PM
Tenny - sounds really promising! Don't count yourself out yet! Unless you're just trying to convince yourself otherwise to avoid an upset?
;) I hope the breakout means somehting, though I really don't think so, I thik that is just me - very acne prone.

Chelsea524 - have you heard that cramps are a sign of implantation? I wasn't sure.

RobynScott - I also hope the spotting is implantation!!
I was looking for Grey's anatomy posts (started watching this summer with the reruns, and I'm hooked) and ran into you there :) Maybe even after BFPs (let's hope so this month!) we can continue to obsess together :D

Me - as I said above, I'm just acne prone, so I try not to rely too much on my breakouts as signs. Although it was interesting when I broke out just on one side... And my bbs being sore today - again, this could just be AF.
BUT I'm suddenly very hungry today! I hope that is a sign of more than either AF coming or being tired and needing more food to keep me running. As for the tired, I think that's really just not enough sleep, not my body working overtime.
interesting change - last month *everything* seemed like a sign. This month, trying to notice everything (either to look back on as RPS, or for future months to know the FPS), but finding good reasons for it all. Of course, in the back (and front!) of my mind still really hoping this is it.
Phew, that was a load off my mind :p

HI Berber - I've totally been lurking over there. I hope you are right - I would love to join that thread!

I think the way you did it is probably best! I know it was and continues to be a rollercoaster, but even with the unexpected it may be a smoother ride than us! There's just so much mystery!
I would totally be okay waiting a few more months, but it's the not knowing which is making me want the BFP Right. Now! If you are waiting and it's not working it is frustrating and you keep wondering if there is something wrong, and then time just keeps passing!!
Luckily this is only my 2nd cycle SWH.

Jess~Thanks for checking on us still! I'm still mostly hanging out here because I am still trying to be in denile.;) I wish you luck on Thursday!

MelandTim~I hope that you O soon and with your every other day routine you should be able to catch that egg. Good luck!

Bella~Sorry you haven't bd as much as you would like this cycle. I hate when that happens and I spend the rest of the cycle wondering what would have happened if we just got in more bd'ing. I would probably either be the same as you and forget to temp or I would go stark raving mad about it so I have avoided it.

FSUSammy~I hope Ernesto stays away! How scary. My sister and BIL live in Florida and they were checking it while staying with me this weekend. It is always changing so I hope it misses you! Hopefully AF will surprise you and stay away too! Crossing my fingers for you.

ceaserbride~Sorry about the BFN. How long are your cycles normally? How long have you been off the pill (if you were on it)? Sometimes your cycles will lengthen after getting off the pill or due to stress. I hope you figure something out soon.

melg~I hope that your symptoms are RPS and that you don't have to be on this crazy roller coaster too much longer. Some women will feel some cramping or have slight spotting due to implantation and some will have neither.

Chelsea~I hope you get some great news just in time for your anniversary! That would be great!

Motray~I love dogs but they can be a lot of work, especially at first. Hopefully the rough night was just because it was the first night in his/her new home. Hopefully you will have a new baby with a little less fur to add to the family soon!

Mexicobride~Good luck with the grapefruit. If you decide to join, the more the merrier!

Delsol~I am in the same spot you are waiting and waiting. Unfortunately for me I have to wait this whole cycle, but oh well.

Tenny~It sounds like you have some pretty good symptoms there. I hope you are wrong and this is your month!

Me~I am going in to have the HSG and the hysteroscopy tomorrow. In one way I am hoping they find something that is fixable but in another I don't want them to find anything. I will probably be pretty out of it tomorrow but I may come by and try to update. I guess if I do and nothign makes sense you all will know why. :p

Hi everybody! Congratulations Metag00! Happy and Healthy 9 months to you :)

I'm too lazy to do s/o's today so I'm just going to update :D

I'm CD19 today and had some pink tinged cm last night, barely anything at all really. But I'm still hoping it was implantation or something in my crazy head  . I never, ever spot before AF, it's either here or it isn't so I know that can't be it. I'm totally getting my hopes up this cycle because I'm just really feeling a strong desire to be pg. If I'm not then I'm definitely going to start charting next time.

ETA: Good Luck Looty!!!

melg I hope you are right. I know what you mean you try and search for clues that you may be pg, but then you come up with excuses why! It is a never-ending cycle!

BerBer I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

looty Good luck with the HSG hysteroscopy tomorrow. You there is a little stat about woman being more fertile the 3 months after a HSG. I for one concieved DS the month after my HSG.

Lanapoo I hope the pink CM was implantation!!!

You know with all of us throwing around symptoms, I just thought I would share a little story. I have been pg a total of 3 times (2 ended in m/c). Well with each pg I felt completely different. With the first one I felt waves of nausea before my BFP. The second one I was bloated and dizzy before my BFP, but no nausea. The third time my areolas (sp??) started to look weird, but I was not bloated, dizzy, or had nausea. So you never know what your symptoms will be if any!

TMI Alert..

I was feeling weird today. I started to get a headache, thought it was because the weather was changing and then someone sprayed perfume at work so that dind't help my head but I didn't think anything of it. I also felt crampy, I had some spotting yesterday and this morning, still didn't think anything of it. I got home from work and went to the bathroom and it seems AF came back, there was big blood clot. So I really don't know why that happened once AF is gone she doesn't come back like this, I'll get one day of spotting but that all. Ugh wish I knew what was going on.

DH & I went out to eat and I had printed out my September calendar and showed it to him and said, see these days I have X'd off, and he said yes, and I said that means no visitors. He looked at my and was like ok, why. All I need to do is give him a look and he goes is that baby making time? I said yes so no visitors then, that means your mom and your sister. He seemed to have a positive attitude about the baby making and this time he didn't roll his eyes when I said we need to BD on those days I have X'd off.

Lana~Thanks! I really hope that your symptoms mean something great for you! It is always so hard not to get excited, but it sucks to have to come down. I hope that you get to stay on cloud 9 for 9 months. :D

Tenny~I have heard that it can make you more fertile. That is what I am hoping for! I will be out this month, but you can bet I am going to be more positive next month (I hope). Isn't is so strange that the symptoms can be so different for different people or even different pregnancies?

Delsol~Sorry about the confusing Af. That is great that your Dh is more on board with TTC this month. I hope that makes the difference.

Lanapoo - I hope that it was implantation spotting too! I'm thinking positive for you!

Looty - I hope everything goes well with testing tomorrow and you find the answers you are seeking.

Thank you so much everyone for all the well wishes and congrats messages! Ya'll are so awesome! I am hanging around cheering on each of you and will try to spread around as much baby dust as I can! I want everyone to come join the May mommies too! We need some more company over there :) Have a great week ladies!

Good luck Looty!!! We'll be thinking of you!

DelSol - its great that your DH is more onboard this month. Maybe it just takes guys longer to get going with it than us.

Lana - Figners crossed for you!

I'm on CD17 - My OPK was almost a positive last night. I didnt get anything at all last month when I tried it. I forgot to do it Sunday so I went ahead and marked it as positive since it was only slightly lighter than the control line. Temps up today so I am pretty sure I have O'd but will see the next couple days. We bd'd every other day and each day the last 2 so I think we gave it a really good shot this month and I am so excited. If I truly did O this would the 3rd month in a row for me so hopefully that means my cycles just needed some time to straighten out! I am hoping I won't need Clomid!!!

Good morning ladies. I'm on CD35 and I can feel AF on her way. I've been super bloated and I'm having major cramps too. Just wish she'd show her presence already. As for Ernesto the storm is still projected to come right over us sometime early Wed morning. They are saying it won't turn into a hurricane before it hits us which is good. I had to stay in line for gas yesterday for well over an hour, unbelievable!

I'll be back later with s/o's.

FSUSammy - good luck, we're thinking of you and crossing fingers - 2 reasons ;)

DelSol - Glad DH is on "your side" with this. that takes some of the stress out. you know, less stress = better chances! :D and more fun while bding! :p

Mel - good l uck! and have fun!! catch the egg! catch the egg!

Tenny - I know, it is SO weird the symptoms can be different for everyone, but also for the same person! That makes me feel better a little.

Lana - I really realy really hope that is implantation spotting!!

Looty - good luck, thinking of you. I hope you get some GOOD answers :)

Me - just waiting. nothing new to report. I was really hungry yesterday afternoon. Then I realized that even though I had eaten it probably wasn't enough. So... can't blame THAT on FPS :) :o

hi everyone!

Well, i'm taking back my AF announcement for the time being. TMI - I was getting ready for work in a hurry yesterday (since I got so little sleep  ) wiped a little bit of pink and decided to use a tampon, since starting yesterday we had to go business casual at work and I needed to dress up. When I went to change it, it was only a very little bit of brown gunk. So, I'm changing it to spotting and seeing what happens today.

On a dog note: The new lab did better last night...DH fell asleep on the couch for a good chunk of the night though, so that might be why. The biggest problem is integrating the dog with our cat. We're trying to do it "the right way" by keeping them seperate and controlling their interactions until they get used to each other, but that makes our lives a little more of a pain in the neck then if we could just let the dog go wherever. He's very good, but the cat is a loon! If anyone has gone through a cat-dog introduction, let me know what worked for you!!

Hmmm...CD35. No AF...no symptoms of AF still. My cycle is always right on 29-30 days and I have never been on the BCP but on the evra patch for about 6 months but stoped about 4 months ago and my cycles were regular after that too. I'm confused!

Motray- Hopefully that means AF isn't coming!

Mel- Good luck & have fun:)

DelSol- Glad DH is now on board. It was cute after I got my two BFN DH told me we had to BD next month every second day from CD 8 to CD 20!! lol...

I promise to try and get back later for SO's - sorry I can't do them now. I've read everything everyone has posted! - and thinking of you all - but I know I won't be able to do all of the SO's now.

Seems like there's a few of us (Lana, melg, me) feeling the same way. Lana, I also had pick the other night (on CD 21) - was hoping it was Implantation spotting, but now I think it's probably just an early sign of AF. TMI - I had some brown when I wiped today which I usually get a few days before AF, so I expect her by the weekend, if not sooner. Perversely, this makes me want to test sooner (like today) rather than wait - and just confirm for myself that it is a BFN. I might just run to the dollar store at lunch and do that ....

It's funny - the first week of the 2WW I am so hopeful, thinking anything can happen. Week 2 - it's unbearable waiting to get far enough along to test, and I'm sure it's going to be negative anyway. I mean really - I have no reason to think I am PG other than the fact that I want to be, *lol* - now that's not really going to make it happen, is it?

In my head, I know it's ok. I already told DH I want September to be our month - and I'm gearing up to chart in September (started doing so this weekend to start getting in the habit) - but darn, wouldn't it be so cool to see a BFP! ugh - oh well, let the rollercoaster continue!

congrats metag! - not sure if I ever congratulated you.

Sammy - good lucj with the weather and stay safe!
looty -hope todays procedures went well.

OK, I said I wasn't going to be able to do SO's now - I know I did a few but I have got to do some work!
Thinking of you all! have a great day and may AF stay away!

-Robyn

Robyn, I totally agree. good luck, hope she stays away.
as I write this I'm wondering if I'm feeling a little cramp... ugh!
I too have no reason to think I'm pg other than I want to. And we did do the every other day (at least) most of the month!
Time will tell....

Melg - all I can say is, at least you were more active than us! :)

My friend was telling me that everyone she knows who used an OPK at the right time got PG. I got my positive Sat afternoon (and sort of Fri night) and we were active Sat norning and Sun night - hoping that covered the bases. I know I'm just getting my hopes up - but I feel like AF is already here - and I will be really upset if she is 5 days early again this month.

My cycle has always been regular - suddenly, when I am really paying attention to it and it really matters - it wants to go off track now? what! what the heck?

I know I can't complain - I haven't been at this as long as many others - but man, is it still frustrating!

Sunshine I still have a little bit of the juice left but it's so hard to drink! It's gross! I have an easier time eating a grapefruit for breakfast so that's what I'm doing this week!

Hi everyone, I have kind of been absent for awhile. Just kind of hanging out and reading along.

I am on CD8. Just waititng for the bding marathon. That probabaly won't start till this weekend.

Anyhow, I have a question for everyone. When TTC what are your husband's doing, drinking wise? Have they stopped or no? My husband is really worried about this, and wondered if he needed to stop drinking. He drinks on his days off. Being that he is a firefighter, he has all day when he is off. So, I am just carious how are you guys handeling this, and what are you telling your DH to do and not to do? Anything or no?

Robyn - that's good to know about the OPKs. Hopefully its true!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

dancn - I hadn't thought much about the alcohol. Not sure if it has any effect. I know tobacco does.

motray - keeping my fingers crossed

Almost forgot - Happy anniversary Robyn!!! What are you doing to celebrate?
i know, today I feel like the spotting before AF will start tonight... TMI - getting wet and white... that's not normal before a BFP I don't think? and not sure if it's my imagination, but I think I'm starting to get crampy. that could also explain the hunger  :(
Hopefully the OPKs worked for you - I haven't gotten that far.
I also haven't been at it that long... it's frustrating just the same.

DH has not stopped drinking.

Robyn- Happy Anniversary!
dancn226-My DH will definatly continue as normal I would suspect!
MelG-Keeping my fingers crossed that AF stays away.

Me-AF *finally* arrived! geez... Now I'm already excited and just finished counting out my next cycle:) (If it's normal)...

MelG~getting wet and white. This is exactly what happened to me before I got my BFP & I had implantation spotting that was brown & gunky-ish on DPO 10. I thought AF was going to arrive early...if you look back a few pages I acctually posted that I was officially out of the running for the month. So don't loose hope just yet... I still have my fingers crossed for you!:D

Lana - Hopefully that pink twinged CM was implantation.

DelSol - Sorry about AF coming back. How odd. Glad your DH is ready for baby-making September.

Mel - Hope you caught that eggie.

motray - Glad the new lab is doing better. I LOVE puppies. We have two big boys. A black lab and a golden retriever so we are only experienced in introducing a puppy to another dog, not a cat.

ceaserbride - Sorry about AF.

Robyn - Happy Anniversary!!!!

dancn226 - I don't think your DH needs to worry about drinking while TTC. I know mine won't. But if yours just drinks on his days off you should be fine.

Me - Sitting at home listening to the news about Ernesto. Poor DH is at work a good hour north of our home. He has no idea when they'll allow him to come home. I've started spotting today and that would explain why I have my cramps.Ugh!

Thank you all for the Happy Anniversary wishes! I really appreciate it.
Not doing too much tonight - may go out this weekend, but I did get flowers :)

So, I held true to what I said - went to the Dollar Store at lunch. Of course, the PG tests are behind the counter and there is a huge line! Walked around the store to pick up something to stand in line with, and then maneuvered it so the female cashier range me up, *lol*. Picked up three of the tests - figrued they were the right price :)

I then decided I would take one on the way back to my office in the mall bathroom (my office is in a tall building with a big shopping mall). Well, nobody warned me you need to pee in a cup and then use a dropper! ack!

so I went back to my office - and now this is really sad - I didn't want to be seen grabbing an empty cup from the kitchen and taking it to the bathroom - so I dug a clean cup from this morning out of my trash! (I double cup when I drink hot chocol
