Chelsea~Your Dh is really spoiled. My DH will be so jealous! :p

Lana~I'm the same way too. Although most of the offspring from DH's family are male. He has all brothers and we only have 1 neice and 5 nephews.

Delsol~Sorry that your Dh wasn't in the mood last night. I hope you O'ed on CD 15 since you bd'ed that night. Looks like birthday bd'ing isn't out now though!;) Happy Birthday early if I don't get in here on Sunday!

Melg~I know we are supposed to keep you sane, but I was just wondering if you have tested? If you only had brown bleeding for about 8 hours I wouldn't consider that AF. As far as the CM...I don't check it on a regular basis like some women do but if I check it I usually just do it when in the bathroom before getting ready to go. I just check it at the outside. You are suppsed to feel it without looking first and then look at it according to TCOYF. I don't know about going in to get it. I can look it up for you if you want. I am exactly the same on the QOTD. If I knew I was surely going to get both genders I would want to boy first but if not then I definitely want a little girl.

Bella~I am glad that you have some hope again. I think that is funny that you said maybe your DH can only make girls. My Dh's family says the same about themselves excpet with boys...until the last one born was finally a girl.

FSUSammy~You might have missed the surge because that is supposed to happen before O (I think 24-36 hours before). At least you have your temps to help you figure everything out. I knew that you said you were trying for a girl. I find the stuff that you are doing to insure that is very interesting.

Mel~I hope you are our first BFP this thread. I don't think that anyone is testing before you so I can say that!:p So really one more day til you can be overly excited about a possibility? I am crossing my fingers for you!

Tenny~It is hard to keep up here somtimes. I think that if AF is 3 days you re fine. On the pill that's what I usually had. Now it is only 4-5 days usually. Too funny that 2 engineers means boy.

Kiki~Based on your chart I would say that it is right. You may have missed the surge since you took it the night before you O'ed. Might have been too close to O. Looks like you have a good chance this month!

Sunshine~I guess sometimes they are still bossy but I was referring more to your younger years when you were living around your siblings. I knew you were!:p I'll add you to the list! LOL....The rams won their pre season game yesterday! Yay!

Dancn~I hope you are right and you caught the egg! You had me cracking up at your girl firefighter and boy dancer. That would be funny! I hope your day gets better.

Not much going on here. Got another pregnancy announcement last night...SIL. I am fine with it though but I may change my tune if Iam not pregnant by next February because everyone I know is due between Feb 1 and March 2. That will be a happy month, but a very hard one if I am not pg by then.

Dancn, I hope you guys were able to catch the egg, that is funny about the boy being a dancer and the girl a firefighter, I joke with DH that if the next one is a boy he will have to go into dance class and stuff, I was a long time dancer up until I had kids and I really want a girl to (hopefully) have that same passion.

Sammy, I had never heard of that for trying for a girl, may have to try that next cycle if this one isn't it. Yeah on the temp spike!!

kiki I agree with FF, one more day of temps will tell for sure though since the other two were open dots. Looks like you guys did a great job covering you bases though!

Tenny, my AF was always about 3 days, this time it was about 6 but I think that was just making up for the fact I had a 75 day cycle.

DelSol, sorry for no BDing last night, I missed out too, our men seem to be just plain lazy some times;)

Melg, to check CM I ususally just use one finger and run it along the civix and wall, it should come out with enough to check it that way. Thats just me though, not sure how others check.

Bella, I hope that is early moning sickness that you are having, when will you test? good luck!!

Mel, I hope those cramps are a little one getting comfy for a while!!

Me, well we didn't get to BD last night, and I did try but DH didn't want to. I was at his work today collecting his paycheck for him and ran into one of his employees that I am friends with, we started ttc at the same time and she got pg on her first try, she's already looking pregnant. Anyways, she told me DH always jokes with her that he is holding out BDing to be funny because he thinks I am obsessed about it. Grrr. So I have decided once I do get pregnant I will just hold out on him and see how he likes it;)

Ok so I was slow typing again and missed Looty. DHs family is the same way, all boys, out of 8 grandkids only one is a girl but she is DHs sisters kid so she doesn't really count in that because her husband is not part of the whole genetics thing. I really hope you will be pregnant well before Feb!!

ETA a question, do you usually O the day of EWCM or the day after?? Anyone know? I had EWCM on Wednesday and watery/creamy (more creamy though) on thursday, not sure which to count as O.

Chelsea - You'll know when you O when your CM dries up. It's possible to have several days of EWCM. I'd count the day before dry up as the day you O'd. Now if you happen to dry up in the middle of the day but had fertile quality CM earlier then you O'd that day.

Kiki - yeah, this last cycle there were a couple days during the 2ww where I got a ton of creamy. Weird huh?

Nothing going on here. CD2...ho hum :rolleyes: I'm doing a baby shower for a friend tomorrow afternoon so that should be a lot of fun, I can't wait to start decorating!

Looty - No problem mentioning it... the thought crossed my mind to test since AF was sooo irregular. However, since we are new at this I figure I don't know what my normal is. I had only a few hours of normal blood... but the brown milky kind of stuff and spotting was a total of almost 2 weeks. So I don't think that is really a chance. I did test after I had been brown spotting or whatever that was for 5 days... it was negative. :confused:

So I am guessing I'm on CD9 (from the RED, the one day with red...) or more, as much as 16 if you count from the first "leaking" of brown.
I hope to get a BFP later this month :)

Hopefully Melandtim will start us off with a nice long string of BFPs :D

Tenny, I was never this lucky but a friend of mine too has AF for only 3 days and she got pg twice.

Delsol, I´m sorry that your DH wasn´t in the mood.

looty, I´m quite sure that I read once that some men can only make boys, some can only make girls and the rest can make both. So up until now DH has not proved yet that he can make boys too. ;) I´m crossing my fingers for you that your belly will be already impressive by February.

dancn, sorry about your bad day. I hope your weekend gets better! :)

Chelsea, your DH is not only spoiled but quite naughty too! Pay it back to him once you´re pg! ;) AF is supposed to come on Wednesday, so I would probably test next Friday if nothing has happened until then.

Chelsea524~I am telling you I have been a dancer for ever, and its so hard not to do it. I am on summer break right now, and its killing me. My DH and I really want to open my own dance studio, thought we should do that before kids, but said you know what can't wait!!!!

Looty~ Glad I made you laugh, its been a bad day, can't wait until this weekend, my DH b'day is on Monday so I took that day off. So I am ready for a good weeekdn.

Bellabong~I am glad to have made you laugh, its good to know that even in this horrible attitude, that people are laughing.

Chelsea524 ~ doesn't it stink missing out? Laziness is DH's middle name. If my DH even cracks a joke about holding out during the fertile time, I'd be cracking him upside his head and holding out for a very long time after I got PG.

Hey ladies. Thought I'd give you guys an update.

I did another OPK about 2 hours ago and it came back negative again and was actually lighter than yesterday's OPK. My CM has dried up and my boobs are starting to hurt so I'm really starting to think that I did O yesterday. Well I'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow's temp is and of course Sunday's temp as well to confirm O.

DelSol~I was there last month!!! Totally, I think things are just going good with us and its something he wants to see happen sooner than later!! So he has jumped on the bandwagon!!! Which always helps. I was totally dealikng with him last month. I feel you pain!!!

I am just having a bad technology day!!! Every damn computer i touch breaks, so it really sucks.

I really hope eeryone has a good weekend, I probbalby won't' be around with DH's b'day we will probably be having some fun. We are going to the Bristol Renassiance Faire on Sat. then some surfing behind our boat on Sunday and probably MOnday since that is his acutaly b'day!!!!!!!!!

Bella~Well, my DH is 30 and his sister is turning 25 this year and they got along GREAT! He says he has memories of his sis wanting to always hang around and sometimes that annoyed him, but mostly he was proud to have a little sister!!!!! I'm sure the age difference will be just fine:)

Sunshine DH always does stuff like that, I always make a comment to him that he is just trying to see how far he can push me before I bite his head off, he thinks its funny to get me frustrated:rolleyes:

dancn your own studio?! I would be so jealous! Dancing used to be my life, I toured with my dance company all over the western states, ballet and jazz, ballet was my love, just lost the body for it after my first pregnancy, I didn't take care of my body and gained a lot of weight during that pregnancy that has been hard to lose.

Sammy Thanks, that what I figured, I have dried up so I am pretty sure I Oed yesterday, but still didn't have very much CM yesterday so maybe it was the day before, who knows. Yay on you Oing!! We are all about the same point in our cycles it seems, not many are quite ready to test yet.

Delsol happy birthday on Sunday if I don't get back here before then, thats my DS birthday too!

melg I would count the day with red flow as CD 1

Hey ladies, sorry I havnt been around. It seems each cycle I go through I pull further and further away from here. I have been lurking tho and trying to keep up with everyone.

Im on cd 23 and probably 8dpo. I havnt been temping since a few days after O so there is a chance I may not have. I really dont think Ill test at all after last month. I will expect af anywhere between cd27 and cd33. If she is going to come I hope its earlier rather than later.

Looks like we will have alot of action at the end of this month. Seems like were all pretty similar phases of our cycles. Good luck everyone!

I had huge temp spike this morning. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. FF still showing I O'd on CD15, which works in my favor. I have a weird feeling in my tummy and not sure what it could be. I don't think it would be O pains 3DPO.

DH is staying home today, Gram most likely is getting released from the hospital today so she is going to have a busy day, he's gonna go up later on in the week. He wanted to know what I wanted to do on my birthday and I was like I don't know. He said I can give ya the goods, I looked at him and said I wanted the good last night but you didn't want too. He didn't say anything then so I won't be passing a change to BD up but I know it's too late for anything to happen with this BD.

It seems like I´m out. :( I had sore bbs for the past two days and was really convinced that I´m pregant. I probably was but belong to those whose pregnancy already ends with AF. Just when I wiped I saw some light pink, so I guess AF is on her way. :( Well, at least it was a short cycle. Tomorrow I will get the results of the hormonal check up and the results of the thyroid check up. I´m anxious to know if they found something wrong.

CD19 4DPO. My temp stayed up this morning. My tummy stills feels weird, it feels like I have been doing a ton of sit-ups and the muscles are sore. Maybe it is my mind playing tricks on me.

Yesterday was my sister's surprise bday party, she was really surprised. My niece was so cute, she's 2 and when it was time to sing happy birthday, my dad and I had to laugh because the look on her face you would have thought she thought it was her bday and we were singing to her. Her bday was in July and when we sang to her, she kept wanting us to sing to her again (according to her).

ANyone heard from Mel? We've been putting lots of friendly hopeful pressure on her... I do hope she gets good news though!

Me... (counting those few hours of red as day 1) I'm on CD 11. We bd'd every other day since the brown stopped... so maybe this is good. My only worry is that my AF was so irregular so I am just really hoping that I am o'ing. We'll see. I am hopeful that this month and bding is working. It's been fun so far! Though lots of pressure on DH.

Yup CD 2 for me, :mad: Started spotting Saturday and AF arrived yesterday . I am actually not as upset as I was last month. I had decided to not stress this month about it and I succeeded. I think last month I was so sure I was PG and I still think that I was that I was so disappointed when AF arrived. But thank god no gut wrenching cramps this month.

DH and I are both sick so hopefully we will be better in a few days and ready for a major BD fest this time. I am a woman on a mission this month :p

Me - I'm on CD 20 and my temps have not spiked at all. I had a dry up a few days ago and then yesterday I had creamy CM. What's weird is in the mornings when I wake up I feel super hot but my temps are not corresponding with that feeling. Also when you look at my charts you can see a very slow rise in temps. Very strange. Don't know if I did O or not. Guess its a wait and see.

FSU, I have no clue about temps and CM, so I can´t be of any help.

Me: Still no AF and the internal spotting has become less instead of more so far. I´m on an emotional rollercoaster - one moment I´m sure that AF will be here today or tomorrow and the next I´m tempted to go out and buy a HPT. I hope I won´t get one today as it´s probably a waste of money and too early anyway. I called my internist today and at least everything is okay with my thyroid. I asked for a copy to be send to me but I remembered to ask for my TSH which was 1.45. This is good news as it´s supposed to be >2 to get pregnant. I´ll call my obgyn in the next hour to ask for the hormone check they did.

i might test saturday or sunday - even though it will still be early. i'm suddenly addicted to poas :)
i better be preggers. we sure did bd enough. i'm trying not to get all worked up but its hard. last month i was SOOO disappointed when AF showed and i dont want to feel like crap like i did last month so i'm trying to keep things in perspective.

Delsol~I too have head that having your stomach feel that way can be a pg symptom. I don't know who early it usually starts though. A big :p to your DH about the bd'ing.

Sunshine~I think that it would be a great to be able to share the news with everyone, especially if the more detailed reports come back bad. Let's hope that doesn't happen but I still will be able to share that news. Everyone is excited about my sister's pregnancy but since she is so far away I don't think that anyone feels that it's quite real yet.

Bella~I am happy that the results came back normal and that the spotting has stopped. Hopefully the good news will continue through your BFP!;)

Melg~The sore bb's may be a sign of O. I understand wanting to bd every other day because it is more realistic for you...same for us.

Mel~Sorry AF showed up, but I am glad that the cramps haven't been bad this month. It also seems like you are handling it pretty well this month. I hope if this isn't our month I am the same way.

FSUSammy~I am not too sure about the temps of the change in cm. I know some ladies here were talking about how they had creamy cm after O, but that doesn't help with the temps. I hope some answers become clear soon.

Motray~Ugh! I have YI! They are really no fun, but I much rather have one of those than a UTI!

Hey Tenny! It's not the best news about my g-pa but we only have the preliminary so we are holding out hope that it isn't too bad yet.

Kiki~I hope you aren't disappointed! If I am thinking of the right person you certainly did cover yourselves so... It is hard to not get too wrapped up in symptoms you may have and not get excited.

Thanks to everyone for your hugs and thought about my grandpa. We only have the preliminary report back that tells us he has leukemia but not which kind. They have said it isn't advanced yet and that they think it is a slow developing kind so that is some good news. Nothing else really going on here. I am just between 7 and 9 days into my 2ww. I think I will be waiting to test until either next weekend or the beginning of next week. I have a test in the house though and I usually have a harder time resisting if there is one here. So we shall see how long I can hold out!;)

Looty - that sould like promising news about your grandpa. Hopefully it was caught quickly and can treat it My neighbor was given very dire predictins last fall when they found out she had liver cancer. They later found breast cancer as well and she is now 100% clear!!

just a quick drive by post...

I have been feeling sorta weird latly and had the worst YI I have ever experienced about 3 days after I o'd...arg so on top of worrying about being pg I get that...jeez when it rains it pours.

Yesterday I started to get some cramps that were pretty dull all day on and off. This morning they continued so AF might come a little early. It seems odd because I don't usually get cramps but... with all of our guest we have been eating out a lot more so it is prolly a combo of diet and AF or something because I feel sorta bloated too.

So I'm just waiting around for AF and if I don't get anything by Sunday... I am going to get an HPT. That will be 14 DPO, do you think that is late enough?

My CP is still high?!? On the high end of medium anyhow. Normally I mark high when I cant feel it, and I can Barely feel it.......Also, it seems as tho since I STOPPED drinking grapefruit juice I have TONS of CM............I barely had any drinking it and now all of a sudden I am almost swimming in it?!?! Not EWCM, just Creamy....

I forgot to mention this. I noticed over the weekend that my throat would get really dry when I was talking and I'd constantly need to have a drink in my hand. That normally happens when I take my allergy medicine because it dries me up so good but I haven't touched my allergy medicine since mid-July. I'm gonna have to read the pregnancy symptoms thread to see if this could be anything.

I just got back from lunch, my boss took me and the department out to lunch for my birthday.

Tenny, Delsol, Chelsea, looty, Lana - thank you for your good wishes but it seems as if it´s not meant to be this month.

Berber, 14DPO is fine to test. Your bloatedness could also be pg-related. ;)

Now I´m really frustrated. Not only did I get a BFN some minutes ago but the results of my hormone check are also not good. :( You know I had a feeling the whole month that my cycle was somehow messed up as I never had the certain feeling that I ovulated. My obgyn said that most hormones were okay (I forgot which ones he mentioned as we only talked for maybe 1-2 minutes) but that my estrogen level in the first cycle half would have been too low. No idea how he knows that since the blood draw was on CD 20. But he said that because of the lack of estrogen the egg couldn´t ripe properly. So maybe that means that I didn´t O at all but I´m not sure which is why I took the HPT. He said that he wanted me to take some tablets on CD 4-9(?) and I asked whether he was talking about Clomid. He was. Now I haven´t heard positive things only about Clomid and I´m not particuarly keen to take it if it isn´t necessary. So I told him that I don´t think that this cycle is representative since I usually notice that I O in the middle of my cycle. Sadly I forgot to remind him that he saw a 21mm egg ready to jump on the ultrasound on CD 13 during the cycle before this one. I guess if he had checked the last information about me on the computer, he should have seen that himself but apparently he didn´t. But since I know that ovulation usually is no problem, I asked if we could repeat the test next cycle to see if this one was just messed up and the next one is okay again. He agreed to do that.
So now I´m just waiting for AF to finally arrive and I will go back on next CD 21 for another hormone check. If it comes back with the same result, I probably will start with Clomid. Crap! After I knew that the m/c had nothing to do with the functions of my body, I was so convinced that everything was okay. And now that. I hope this cycle was only an exception. Maybe the grapefruit juice is to blame and did that in combination with the Vitex. ;) Speaking of Vitex, I totally forgot to tell him that I take it again and totally forgot to ask if this could influence the estrogen too and if I should continue to take it. But as you all know the saga of the unfriendly receptionists and the in-a-hurry-doctor, I won´t call again to ask. So I´ll continue to take it and maybe I´ll ask the online obgyn on my German TTC board.
The internal spotting has now also stopped and so it doesn´t really seem as if AF would arrive tomorrow. My boobs are still sore (even after the BFN) and somehow there is still a tiny bit hope left since it´s only CD 26. Which is BS, considering that I probably didn´t O at all. And even if I did, this wouldn´t be a promising start for a pregnancy. So I hope AF turns up soon and when I get the next hormone results I will be on CD 28 but this time I hopefully will be pregnant! :D

Bella - Sorry for your saga with the hormones and all. Let me know what you find out about the vitex. This is my 3rd cycle on it and I'm not seeing any improvement. I'm thinking about taking Clomid too but not sure if I should next cycle. I know that I can't take Vitex and Clomid at the same time though.

Nothing new since this morning, all FPS have left pretty much, BBs are still sensitive but not really sore, not feeling sick any more, but still tired, although that is normal for me. i have a total of 10 tests waiting for me at home, I need to really try to hold out, I'm on CD 25, if I can at least wait til friday it will be CD29, but I won't feel to bad if I test a little early, they had tests at the dollar store so I bought a weeks worth:p and then I have three first responce tests that I will save for last or until I see a faint line on the cheap ones.

Delsol~From what I heard a dry mouth and being more thirsty can be a og symptom. Just to fuel the fire.:p

Nothing new here, but I just wanted to share this because I thought it was funny. We just got a statement in the mail from my insurance. It said the dr billed them $567 for the HSG and they allowed $30! Hahahahahaha! I have always seen that there are negotiated prices for in network drs but have never seen that much of a discrepancy. I thought that was hilarious! Dh was worried we would have to pay the rest and I told him they aren't allowed to bill us the difference. Then he saw the humor!:D

It was weird...I had a sore throat earlier and about an hour ago I started to feel feverish. I do have a low grade fever and just feel yuck. It is just so strange to think that even a few hours I felt totally fine (aside from the sore throat). I am going to lay down until DH serves me dinner on the couch. ;)

DelSol - looty is correct. It takes a while if you are pregnant for the baby to even start using the placenta for anything. Since your not pregnant that you know of yet, you can do just as you usually do, better not to suffer for a what if, that can just make things worse for you

Me - I'm on CD 21 today and my temps have Dropped drastically. It could be because my comforter somehow wasn't on me, but I don't know. I had very creamy CM yesterday, more on the lotiony-side too. I'm going to wait and see what kind of CM I have today and depending on that I might test with an OPK. The problem is right now is not the best time for us to BD just because DH hurt his back over the weekend when we attempted to do WAY too much landscaping at our home. I don't want to hurt him more by BDing KWIM?

I hope you feel better soon!

BerBer - I hear you about the "when it rains it pours." I seriously need to get out an umbrella :(

Bella - DH doesnt have any symptoms, I think I got it after we BD'd. But, I told him to keep watch for anything that might be weird. I hope your hormonal issues work out for the best, and I totally agree with your decision to hold off on the Clomid for the time being. I really don't like to over-medicate myself or be on medication that I don't really need. Hopefully your body will be able to adjust itself.

melandtim - Again with the "when it rains it pours!" I hope you feel better soon!!

Chelsea - there is no way I could have 10 tests in the house...I would take 3 a day because I have no restraint!!

Sam - there must be ways to BD that won't hurt his back ;) .

me - CD22, temp jump this morning...I may have woken up 1/2 hour before I usually temp, which typically makes my temp higher, but I might have been dreaming that I woke up...not sure. I guess we'll see what the next few days have to bring!

The ten test thing is kind of funny, I was at the store and decided to buy a package of test to have on hand (a pack of 3) then I decided if those we in the house there was no way I would wait long enough to test so I went to the dollar store and picked up some cheap ones there. I know I have no self control so I needed to make sure I didn't waist the expensive ones:p

Nothing new ere, no real symptoms at the moment, just waiting to test, even with the 10 tests I have been able to hold back, I will probably start on friday.

So DH and had a talk last night about TTC and our little opps this month. He said that he thought we are ready and if we have to push our trip to Europe back a few months that isn't a problem. And that people in Europe get around just fine with their babies so he doesn't think it will be a problem for us.:p He seemed almost excited about the whole idea. I think of the two of us I am the most scared but, I know we will be fine.

I really don't think I am pg but, I feel so much better now after our talk. My cramps are gone and I just feel nomal... I sorta hope that we get to have a turn at TTC for real! Sounds like fun!:D I think we will even move our TTC date up if I'm not this time around! lol you girls were right!:cool:

Wow, that is such a great idea. I am not to sure when to test. I would say taht I o'd around the 8th, so I am not to sure what i would get. Part of me wants to test just to see, but then the other part doesn't want to waste the $ if its going to be negitive!! Hey ladies. I just got back from the gastroenterologist regarding the acid reflux I've had for 2 weeks now. The doctor asked me if there was a chance that I was PG and I told him that I was pretty sure that I wasn't. :(

He wants me to try Nexium and wants to do an endoscopy. My endoscopy isn't scheduled until Sept. 8th and I asked him if he wanted me to avoid getting PG until this is all resolved and he said yes. :( :( :(

So I guess I'll stay on this thread cheering the rest of you on for some BFPs while I wait to get this all resolved. Hopefully I'll get the all clear to resume TTC after the endoscopy.

FSUSammy, I'm so sorry about holding on TTC. Practice may make perfect though?! I really hope that you get it figured out and start to feel better. In reality (and according to my Dr) feeling better and not being stressed about it will help your chances of conceiving. So... here's hoping it is figured out soon.

If my cycle is anywhere close to normal and counting the 6 hours of red as CD1 :confused: I'm on cd 12 I think. So... Bd marathon. We Bd'd Sunday and last night. Tonight is the night off, and back on tomorrow. We are aiming for every other dya, but last night we took advantage of being not too tired and got one in so we could rest tonight :)

Almost mid month - can't believe no BFPs yet... but there are still so many of us who are not ready to test yet. Crossing fingers for lots coming up. And of course I would LOVE to be a graduate!!

DH is into this now too, and really wants to bd every other night....
I hope it does the trick!

melandtim, I hope you´ll feel better soon! And I hope you´ll get your results soon as well. Have you tried Cold Eeze against your hoarseness? This has helped me very much last year and was the only thing I could find that said it was against hoarseness.

Sam, I´m so sorry that you have to take a break from TTC. :( I know how hard it was for me to wait six weeks after the m/c. But acid reflux is no fun and as it is something you have badly anyway during a pregnancy, it´s probably better to get something done now.

motray, men don´t have to have any symptoms and can still (re)infect you. I have only had this once and I got it from my then-boyfriend who still carried this around with him from his ex-girlfriend. Yuck! :eek: So to be on the safe side, I think your DH should use your cream too or get something prescribed by your doctor. Better safe than sorry.

Tenny, I hope you feel better soon. Have you tried Cold Eeze? This has helped me very well with my last cold. Although I bought the cheaper Target brand Cold Eeze. Have fun with the BD!

Chelsea, I have to stock up in the Dollar Store when I´m in the USA next month. Here the cheapest HPT is $4, Clearblue is more like $9-10. So I don´t test that often simply because I think they are too expensive. But with cheap tests like that, I guess I would test every day from 10DPO on. :D Good luck, I really hope you´ll be our first BFP!

BerBer, since I live in Germany, I can reassure you that taking a baby here isn´t dangerous at all. :D Depending on when you want to fly, you don´t have to delay your trip at all. We went to Florida for our honeymoon when I was 20-22 weeks without a problem.

Delsol, there are HPTs that can be used from 10DPO on. Good luck!

Me: Mid-morning CD 28 out of a sudden became CD 1. So despite my still sore bbs, I know I can safe the money for a test. Although I have no clue why my bbs feel this way. For those of you who have already had a child, they feel the way they did when I had the first pre-milk around 21 weeks. Which is weird since I would have been 22 or 23 weeks with Olivia right now. So much for FPS. Yesterday night something weird was going on with my ovaries but starting AF today makes it quite unrealistic to have O´d on CD 27. So I have no clue what my body is up to. I have also wondered if this might be an early ectopic and my ovary is bursting soon. So if this weird boob feeling continues two more days, I will take another test to rule out an ectopic.

hi ladies
i need some help and who else better to go to???

can you guys peek at my chart?

warning - might be TMI for some...
the past 3 days i have had spotting - i have a pantyliner on just case but none has made its way on to it. its when i wipe i have mostly brown blood or pink. yesterday i had a tiny red in it. last nite it stopped. this morning i have more pinkish brownish - but again only when i wipe.

now to me - this sounds like it could be implanation spotting - except for a few things - first my temps are tumbling down. this morning it was 97.7 which is what my coverline is.

also - i also suffer from a short LP. which is why i'm thinking this is probably my period?
my periods are always really light - but its always red and mucousy.
not brown and pinkish like this.
unless later on today it turns into a period???
usually when i get AF the day my temps drop i spot and then either later on that day i get AF or the next morning.
i usually dont spot for 3 days!
is this AF? should i change to CD1?? i'm thinking its this way just because its sooo early.

what do you guys think?

kiki, I would keep it as spotting to, hopefully it is implantation spotting with an implantation dip, have you talked to your dr about your short LP? You may want to get on some progesterone to lengthen that.

Mel, I hope AF packs her bags quick and you guys get plenty of BDing in this month to catch that egg

Bella Thanks! Sorry AF showed, I was really hoping you would get your BFP. They do have some really cheap tests on ebay you can buy as well, I think they have packs of 10 for $5 or combo packs with opks and hpts really cheap.

Sammy, That is to bad, I am sorry you have to take a break this month, but I agree with the others, acid reflux is already bad enough during pregnancy, if you have it bad right now you definitly want to get that fixed first.

looty I am probably going to be testing with you as well, I am expecting a BFN on Friday because I know it will be early, I think I O'd on cd 19-20, just hoping I can get an early BFP for DH

Well, it looks like we have quite a few testers coming up, and also a lot of sick women on here, I also have a cold but its not to bad, I've been taking extra vitamin C, staying away from cold meds just in case, if it gets to bad I'm sure I will take something.
No FPS to report right now, nothing new or exciting, just waiting to test, I was actually planning on being bad and test with a cheap test this morning but forgot, and I can't test tomorrow because I have to work, and if I got a BFP I wouldn't be able to get any work done so I guess I am forced to wait til friday.

i keep hoping that its implantation but trying not to get my hopes up. in reality it more than likly will be AF!!! eeer.

i actually have a dr appt in early september for a 'fertility consultation' and that is one of the thing to be discussed.

I have another good temp so it's looking good. If AF is too arrive my temps take a dive around 10 DPO - 12DPO and then she arrives shortly there after. Guess I need to see what happens on 10DPO.

Sunshine~I am not sure about when you O'ed. If you can ususally tell by the O pains then I would just go with that. Some ladies do have creamy cm after O, but it sounds like you covered yourselves either way. :)

Mel~Sorry to hear that you have been sick too. I am glad that you are starting to feel better today. Hopefully you will be able to squeeze a call to the dr in between meetings.

FSUSammy~Again, I am sorry to hear that you have to put TTC on hold. As far as the insurance screwing the drs. I agree in a lot of cases but I do know that drs also hike the prices up for insurance companies since they know they pay so little of that.

Motray~Thanks for the thoughts on my grandpa. I am sorry to hear that you have been sick and that may have made you miss your opportunity this month. I hope not though! Wouldn'tit make your DH puff his chest out if you were pg this month?:p

Tenny~Sorry to hear that you have been sick too. Ihate those never ending colds. I had a pretty much non-stop one all last winter due to constantly passing it around at school. The joys of being a first year teacher. I hope you feel better soon. At least it isn't keeping you from bd'ing!

Chelsea~I hope that you are our first BFP! I haven't heard anyone else testing before Friday so you could be the start of our lucky string. Crossing fingers!

Dancn~The dvd situation would make me upset too. How rude! If you think you O'ed on the 8th I would say the earliest I would test if I was impatient would be Sunday or Monday. If I was feeling I could wait, I would wait until Wednesday. It is so hard to wait though. I am like you, I always go back and forth. I want to test so I know. I don't want to test because if it's negative it will be upsetting and a waste of money. Lather, rinse, repeat. :p

Delsol~I hope we both get a BFP together! I guess you could test a day or two earlier but if you can hold out until the day AF is due, I would. I am strange like that though. I just hate seeing a BFN on a test and if I test early then I just tak myself into thinking that it was too early! ;)

Bella~Sorry about Af. Are you having pain that makes you think you are having an etopic pregnancy? I hope you are right that the illness is pg related but I doubt it.

Kiki~I agree that I would keep it as spotting. CD 1 is supposed to be first red blood but I wouldn't count one red spot as red. It is really early too, but I looked at the previous cycle and you only had an LP of 9 days. If that continues, you should go see your doctor because it could mean that your progesterone is too low to sustain a pregnancy. Not to scare you but just FYI.

I am feeling better today. I still have some congestion issues but no fever so I much better. This cycle has been so weird. I have been having a lot of off and on cramping. It isn't bad but enough to notice it and wonder what they heck it is. I am hoping this weekend is the beginning of a long stretch of BFPs!

Sunshine~I hope you aren't starting to get the cold that so many of us have around here.

Wanted to add this strange dream I had a couple nights ago. I dreamed that I had a little baby girl. I was in the car trying to take her somewhere and I kept hitting the cars behind me and in front of me everytime I tried to pull out. I just couldn't stop the car in time. Plus I didn't have the baby in the carseat, just laying in the front seat. When I got frustrated and parked, I realized I hadn't fed the baby in 2 days! :eek: I woke up after that laughing at myself. I always have weird dreams but that is one of the weirdest I have had in a while. The past few nights I have been having some doosies.

I'm back from the beautiful Caribbean! Other than AF showing up (and with her, my very hormonal / PMS-type not nice self) - the trip was amazing!

Hard to be back and already swamped at work - haven't had a chance to read the thread yet but I will so I can go back and reply.

You test, you get a negitive its like all hope is off, so I like to at least in my head assuem that I am, until toher wise proven wrong right :0) Anyhow, the DVD situation is getting better, they are supposely done. Anyhow, lastnight, I had the weiredest dream ever. I had this dream that I was freezing, like it was Christmas and I was out in teh snow. It was so bazarre. Anyhow in this dream, my feet started to hurt really bad, and I flipped my foot around, and found that I step on a razor blade, you know one of the ones you cut carpet with. Anyhow, it was so bazarre. I mean I have heard some say that there Preg. Sysmtoms were werid dream, boy let me tell you hopeuflly that would be one!!! It was way to werid. Anyhow, hope all is going good for everyone. Today is such a crazy day at work. I had to take some time out to just breath. So I am posting to Say HIII To everyone!!! :0)

Kiki~Dreams are so strange. Supposedly they have meaning to your waking life but other than feeling like I have no control over actually having a baby (hense the not being able to stop the car) I have no idea what it could mean. If it doesn't turn red in the next few days I would test and see if you are pg. Maybe you can join us testers this weekend. I think that even if you are not obsessive by nature it is hard to not get that way about TTC.

Lana~I love me some morning bd'ing but that very rarely happens during the week during the school year because I would always be late and it would be hard to explain to my principal that I had to get that quicky in.:p I hope your bd'ing fest works for you this cycle!

Hey ladies. I posted this on the TTC thread since I go on there too. But I figured that I can't let you ladies down since you guys are sooooo awesome. So I figured I'd repost it here too.

I was inputting today's temp into Ovusoft and decided to look back at my previous chart from my last cycle. What I remembered as being odd when I got AF was that my temp didn't drop when she came, like it normally would for me. And what's even odder is the fact that my temps haven't gone as low as they usually would pre-O. I opened up TCOYF and read an interesting article in the Maximizing Your Chances of Getting Pregnant sectoin (specifically on page 157 of my book) It's about a woman that thought she got AF but her temperature didn't drop as they should by the end of AF. Turned out by CD 13 (of this "new" cycle) she decided to test because her temps were still above the CL, well turns out she got a BFP.

Hmmmm I know this is a long shot but I'm seriously going to run out and buy some tests, because maybe that's why I've been having my acid reflux (that I've never had before).

Anyone want to take a look at my Ovusoft (Oral) chart to see what I'm talking about?

Update: I ran out to CVS and I bought a pack of HPTs. I'll be taking it in the morning and I'll post the results when I get to work at 7am.

After sitting in traffic, my day got worse or at least I thought it did. I am just in a real pissy mood and could bit someone's head off but I trying to remain clam and then I get upset because I am thinking these thoughts plus I have pain around my rib cage. I have someone out on disability, works in our NY office and is suppose to also be getting NY Statutory disability well she isn't. I called our carrier, got transferred to the correct person, left 2 messages and followed up with an email to this person, she has not return any of my calls or email. I also called her periodically through out the day. I finally call an 800# talk to her case manager, who was really nice and knew his stuff and he told me my company didn't have the NY statutory disability and I said but we do, I have a packet here with all the information and thanking us that we choose them. He said something must have gotten messed up and that I should call my benefit broker and have them call the sales person so get it straightened out because he's getting paid a commission and we don't have the benefit.

So I am in a bad mood and hoping tomorrow is better because I will be in my Baltimore office all day.

FSUSammy ~ good luck testing. fingers crossed that it will be good news.

Sorry for the lack of shout-outs, it's my crummy mood (I hope this isn't a sign AF is coming but it's still too early). No sickness for me, knock on wood. Mine is allergies, they said on the news ragweed bloomed early.

I think my body is gearing up to O since I notice increased CM today. I'm a little nervous about actually trying again. I was playing with DS this evening and I asked him if he wanted a little brother or sister and he shock his head yes. Of course he is only 15 months old so he really doesn't know what he is saying yes too. But is was too funny he stopped thought about it and was about to say "no", but then changed to "yes".

sorry no SOs ladies. I'm CD 59 today. yesterday, i had some spotting in the late afternoon, put in a tampon because i thought i was starting AF. (sorry if TMI) then a few hours later, took the tampon out, and it was clean. Still no AF and no spotting at all today. To add insult to injury, my bb's are KILLING me. God only knows what the hell is going on with my body. all tests have been BFN, POAS tests and the blood test. so who knows. I have had very watery CM and the last cpl days have been EWCM. If ou count back about 13 days ago, it was super fertile quality CM.

OH, and on top of everythig.....
My sister is PG, my aunt is PG and a girl I work with just announced she is PG. GRRRRRRRRRR

Hey ladies. I tested this morning and it was a BFN. It would have been the perfect excuse as to why I have had the reflux if I was PG but oh well it makes me feel better to know that I'm not and that its ok for me to take the meds without harming a baby. My temps did go up this morning so there is a possibility that I ovulated yesterday. We'll see in 2 more days.

At least now I have 2 more tests at home for next time. ;)

Me - I'm just hanging in there - remember my hope to not get crazy this cycle? Well, the questionable cd is sort of "helping" that case, but still cant' help but wonder. We bd'd again last night - it's kind of work for dh since he has to ahem, perform. I like it though! and so does he, just more presssure. So... the every other day streak continues... not sure for how long. Now I see why my dr said just do it when you want to. Since the chances are only 20% that you'll conceive in any given month, this would get really old for 5 straight months. Crossing fingers this is it!! That's why I'll start charting if this isn't it so that we don't wear ourselves out when it's not the right timing!!
Ok, so can't help but wonder, I spotted and had weird light discharge for almost 2 weeks, but only 1 day of real red (but it was pretty thick, if a pg woman told me she had that I would say freak out!) but after reading FSUs post (and of course the thought crossed my mind too) I'm wondering if I should take a test? DH just laughs... he thinks I'm crazy that I don't know my body and that it was so screwed up. and thinks that was in fact a period.
What to do?

I totally understand kiki and charliez! My sister is pg, so is my SIL, DH's cousin, several friends, and several friends of friends that I also get to hear about. Joy! :rolleyes:

Melg~I think that if it will make you relax a little then I would test. It could be possible (some women bleed in the first couple months around Af time when they are pg). I hope your method works this cycle. Charting is good for helping you see when you tend to O (a pattern) but you won't be ableto tell before it happens. That is the only thing I don't like about charting (even though I have never done it before). My cycle is off sometimes so there would be times that we would be on marathon bds.

Me~I am about 10-12 DPO today and there isn't much going on in the symptoms department. I have been crampy still, to the point of thinking that AF might come early, but it is always short lived and there is no spotting.

Me, CD 28 and oh boy have the FPS started, I was up a ton last night having to go to the bathroom, my BBs are a little sore, not to bad, but oh man am i sick, I got sick first thing this morning and then dry heaved another 3 times, my gut is so upset right now. I also have a really bad lower back ache, not sure if that would be a symptom or not, and light cramps as well. But today when I went to check my CP I couldn't even reach it, it was so high but I was completely dry, not sure whats going on. I will test tomorrow though!

Hi everyone, its one of those days. I am having a crazy day. Its acutally driving me nuts. Peopel are so ignorant. I work for a community college, and an an office supervisor for a grant. Well peopel make appts to come in to find out if they are eligiable for this grant. This person that I work wtih took a 10am appt over an 8am appt. I mean seriously isn't that commen sense!?! Then she sent the 8am home. So she called back pissed. Do you blame her. Anyhow, this is the frustration I am dealign with today, stupid people.

Anyhow, Chelsa sounds like you've got yourself a BFP there!! Lucky girl!!!

I am on CD 28 as well with NO and I mean NO symptoms. SO I am really thinking there is No way I caught that egg this month. Which also throws me into anther bad mood. I really want this, and its pissing me off. I am telling you its one of those day's that a bottle of Wine could fix.

Actually, though it is nice to "dream" that the messed up AF might actually meant that I am pg, I don't think so. So, rather than waste a test and see a nasty bfn... I've decided not to test. It's a dream, so I'll keep it a nice little one.
No pg symptoms either. I think that I may actually be O'ing... I have been having more breakouts since going of BCP... and today there are some doozies. Curiously, mostly on the left side of my face. I know my doc said 2 things about ttc: your body will let you know when you want to bd (haven't really experienced this, but have noticed increased sex drive since going off bcp) and that your skin will be worst when you're feeling the most like DTD! great combination, no?!:rolleyes:
So... has anyone else noticed a correlation with your skin? And it sort of makes sense if it is on one side more than the other. and I may be imagining this, but before most of the breakouts were on the right....
see where I'm going?
And... my left bb is sore. not very sore, but since I'm looking for it - tender to the touch I guess is more like it.

Thoughts?

We bd'd last night - hopefully that is the right time... may ask Dh to dtd again tonight - but he's real tired! :eek:

Aw, Tenny, I'm so sorry this is getting Ugly! I hope it is all resolved soon.

I don't think I'll be testing. I really don't think I'm pg. I think it is more fun to think that it is possible, but really I know I'm not. I think more likely I'm O soon. With the breakouts it makes sense.

As for sex drive, it's definitely up since being off BCP, but as for being higher for O, I haven't noticed it. I do believe that, afterall , nature has been helping people procreate long before we started... but I think I'm so focused on every other night and think about it every night that I so far haven't noticed being more in the mood on a particular day.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I went to this site (b/c I am obssessed......) called pregnancy.org, and checked out their pregnancy calendar....Last night I started feeling nauseaus........just slightly. Nothing major....Anyways, I thought it was odd since I just had a head cold.....Well, it says for today~
Early pregnancy symptoms include sore breasts, cramping, mild nausea, fatigue, increased irritability, or sometimes you might not feel anything at all -- in which case you're blessed.
and then for tomorrow
Morning sickness could set in. Your brain might not know you're pregnant but your body sure does.

I haven't really read through the thread, so I apologize but I just wanted to let you all know that I may be absent for a couple days. We just found out that my grandpa has leukemia and today we found out that contrary to what they originally told us that it is really advanced and only gave him a couple weeks to a couple months to live. I have never had to deal with the death of someone that is really close to me so I am pretty much a mess. :(

Plus on top of that I did start spotting a little today so the hope of having news to cheer the family up at least breifly is dwindling. :( again.

Thanks Everyone! Today was much better.

I drove to Baltimore with my boss and we had some traffic but it wasn't too bad. We wanted to leave the Baltimore office at 3PM but didn't get out of there until 4:30PM, needless to say I didn't get home until 7PM. I stopped and got myself a salad since DH went to his mom's and he'll spend the night there.

Good luck to those testing! Sorry to those who has AF show up.

I probably won't test until Tuesday, it seems so far away. That will put me at 13 DPO.

TIred, I am always tired, so that sucks, can't use that as one. I jsut really hope you are right!!! Cramps keep coming and going so who really knows. I dont' think I am going to test until this monday. I might try over the weeknd, but I will only if my DH agrees, so we will see. Perhaps I may have news this weekend. Probably a BFN!!! But we will see! STill not to sure!!

melandtim, hope we have better luck this cycle! But since you are already starting the BD on CD 5, it seems as if you cover your bases pretty well! I have had this several times too that I called my doctor and the nurses said that the doctor likes to discuss the results personally with me. Not to freak you out but usually they did find something when that happened. Although for me, they never found something major. Just like this month when he said that I was too low on estrogene and he wanted to put me on Clomid. So IMO it wasn´t that major that the nurse couldn´t have told me that herself. I hope if they did find something wrong with you, it´s easy to fix. How long is your doctor on vacation? Does he have a substitute you could talk to?

kiki, I have had this pinkish-brown spotting this month too and this month it was AF starting veeeery slowly. But I have also had this in my first pregnancy and mistook it for AF.

Chelsea, good luck testing today! FPS on CD 28 sound very promising! :D I have thought about getting some HPTs via Ebay but I would have to get them from Ebay Germany since otherwise the shipping is too high to be profitable.

looty, I´m so sorry about your grandpa! :( Is it impossible to treat it in this stage? I´m crossing my fingers for you that the spotting means nothing and that you´ll get a BFP soon to give your family something to look forward to.

Tenny, have fun BD! I´m sorry you have to deal with your family acting ugly on top of the death of your father. I can relate to that in a way since my MIL died in March 2003 and we have an ongoing lawsuit with my greedy FIL since then. MIL left a will but one that was written without a lawyer´s help and that can be interpreted in different ways.

Charliezangel, CD 59 must be awful! I hope your spotting means that AF is coming. I had the same thing this month - spotting, used a tampon, spotting gone. This repeated itself for maybe three days and then AF kicked in. You should really go back to your doctor and get examined. Maybe if AF doesn´t come on its own, you could get provera like Chelsea did last month.

melg, I don´t want to give you false hope but from you are describing, I think it is possible that you are pg. I had a strange light AF too when I was pg for the first time. About the breakouts: For me, there is definitely a correlation. But I never get breakouts when I O, I get them shortly before or when I have AF. And I get them really bad when I´m newly pg because of the hormonal changes. So if I were you, I would test just to know. Maybe you can already stop the exhausting BD. :D But I know what you mean - we BD something like 6 times in 10 days too and were totally exhausted too. We are both not used to that anymore.

dancn, why wait until Monday to test? Sounds promising to me, so don´t let us wait! We need a BFP!

Yesterday when I was missing in action here, I had a very upsetting day. It started Thursday morning at 4am when I woke up because I was in so much pain. My left ovary hurt and the pain went all the way down my left leg. It was so bad that I couldn´t stay in bed but couldn´t walk very well either. Because the pain was so strong, I was covered in sweat all over in literally a second and looked like a wax bean since all blood had gone from my face. I felt sick but couldn´t vomit properly and had some diarrhoea. I had AF but still had that sore boobs and was very worried that I might have an ectopic and a bursting ovary. I have had strong abdominal pains with excessive sweating, vomiting and diarrhoea before during AF (even with fainting) but I have never had pain only in my left ovary and never only in one leg. I often have the feeling as if there is water in both of my legs though when I have AF. But this was different. DH woke up too and thought about bringing me to the ER but since it was only 5am, I would have needed to wake up my mom and have her come over to watch Maya. So I refused and said I would wait until the morning. At 6am the pain got slightly better and I went back to sleep for another hour. When I woke up, the pain was gone.
I was still very worried about having an ectopic and so I went out and bought a cheap HPT that´s picking up from 25 HCG. It had a very, very faint line. That did not give me peace of mind and so I went out again and got a digital Clearblue which clearly said "not pregnant". Now I have heard that ectopics don´t have that high HCG-levels but since I´m symptom-free for 30 hours now, I hope everything is okay. AF is very heavy and yesterday I had some clotting. Combined with the sore boobs and the disturbed egg-riping by the lack of estrogene, I think it might have been a poorly developed egg that got fertilized and ended in m/c with AF. That would at least explain the very, very faint line. It still doesn´t explain the ovary/leg combo but I´m keeping an eye on it and if my ovary does act weird again, I will go to my obgyn. But I hate going to my obgyn while I´m bleeding and after they were always so unfriendly during my m/c I´m not keen on asking for an urgent appointment.
Since my last cycle was so messed up and I don´t have a clue when I O´d, I started with charting today although it´s already CD 3. I don´t want to take Clomid if it isn´t necessary and maybe charting gives me an idea if and when I O if I don´t notice it by myself this cycle. I really hope I´ll manage to get pg this cycle since I so want to be past the 12 weeks mark when my EDD with Olivia comes up on December 15th. This is only possible if I get pg this or next cycle. I´ve already looked up my EDD: If I should get pg this month, it would be May 23rd. I would love to have a May baby! If I decide to have a c-section again, I could have it on our 16th anniversay on May 17th. Okay, this is far out but a girl can dream... ;)

If he sees that I've healed myself then I'm sure we can continue, if not I have no clue what he wants me to do. Hopefully he'll give me the all clear at the procedure. Me - I'm on CD 23 (or something like that) and had my 2nd day of high temps. Just need to wait until tomorrow to confirm O. Nothing else new.

Bella - yikes, that is scary adn sounds painful. I am glad it went away. I did need to just get it out of my system, so to speak, and I did test last night. I figured no need for fmu since it had been so long. bfn. It wasn't so hard to look at, I really did expect that. Thanks though! I have had "d" and with the other symptoms I think that maybe yesterday was O so if so, we had good timing. We'll continue to bd for a while longer. ;)

That makes me a liar :eek: since I said yesterday I wouldn't. oops. :o I figured no need for fmu since it had been so long. bfn. It wasn't so hard to look at, I really did expect that. As I said yesterday, I have had "d" and with the other symptoms I think that maybe yesterday was O so if so, we had good timing. We'll continue to bd for a while longer. ;)
In fact, we were going to last night. Got all geared up. started playing. then .... nothing. we were both so tired. so every other day it is! I've read that that is really enough, so here's hoping!!:rolleyes:

Well, tested this morning and got a BFN, I am not to bummed because as I have said before, I really think I didn't O until CD 20, I was just hoping I O'd on CD 15, I got EWCM both days but a lot more of it on CD 20, so I will test again on Tuesday probably, that would put me at 13 DPO if CD 20 was my O day. I had such a great way to tell DH today too, with it being his Bday I was going to make him a card that was similar to this:

but with two of a kind on the front and on the inside 3 of a kind and write that we got ourselves a full house. Oh well, guess I can still do that later, he'll just know somethings up if I give him a card out of the blue.

Melg~I am praying that I get that BFP this monoth. I think I can hold out, but who woudl know. I might break down on Sat, since the Hubby is home all day (being a FireFighter and having 24 hours where he is gone, kind of helps). So since he will be home with me, and we plan on doing as little as possible, we will see. I will keep you all posted.

Bellabong~I totally had that same thing happen to me to. It was in about April. But the same exact symptoms, I was so ill, it hurt so bad, I took a vicidon (I got in a car accident, and didn't use them, so I had leftovers) and went back to bed. Needless to say, I was done for the day. It was so bad, I never got that sick from AF, I mean never, and my cramps were never that bad. So i think you have something there. Becuase it to bazarre that you had the same symptoms, and I did to. You know what I mean!!

I am on CD 29, so we will be seeing pretty soon here. AF does feel like she is on the way. But who knows. Let me tell you my biggest problem today. My twitching eye!!! Why does it do that?!?!?

Bella~THANKS! I actually feel 100% today! It's weird, but the last 3 or 4 "head colds" I have had, I have only had them for about 1 day?!?! Not sure if that means I have a good immune system, or a bad one that I keep getting them. They've been spread over at Least a year, but still?!?
And WOW. I am so sorry. I wonder what happened there...:( I am glad that you are feeling better now, but its good that you are keeping an eye onit and if you do feel that pain again to go to the ER. I have to volunteer at the Baseball Canada Cup this weekend. Hubby works for the News here and has volunteered myself and him for the day Saturday. He will be score keeping and me selling souvenirs! Fun Fun! BUT we get volunteer passes and can watch the games when we are done, so thats pretty cool!

I want to test so bad but I really think it's too early for me, it's CD24 9DPO. Last month 10DPO my temp fell and AF arrived. I don't feel any symptoms right now so I really don't know. My chart is looking good though.

But I think it could be because of the bad attitudes that I am around here..Not putting to much on that. I am however, very very very tired today. Sunshine, I tested on 8 DPO and got a BFP. I thought it was weird, but the doctor confirmed that I was 8-9 DPO at the most. It was a VERY faint line, but nevertheless - it was a BFP. :)

Sunshine, I think implantation happens between 7-10 dpo, so at 8 dpo you could possibly get a bfp if it implanted early but I personally would wait till 11 dpo, well, who am I kidding, although I was at cd 29 I am pretty sure I am only 9 dpo, although I was really bummed this morning. Good luck testing either way! I will be testing again on tuesday which is 13 dpo I think.

Sunshine, I did test with FMU, but then I tested again, and again, and again :rolleyes: - and it kept coming back positive (but very faint). In fact, it was very faint for about a week, then it started getting darker. GOOD LUCK to you!!!

I am keeping my fingers croseed for everyone testing this week. I had more brown spotting today. I am expecting Af to show sometime between tomorrow and Tuesday. Due to the spotting I probably won't test until Wednesday or later if Ah hasn't shown by then.

We really need some BFPs! Bring them on!

Well, CD 30 for me, I have been sick to my stomic the last few days and its just getting worse, this morning I was brushing my teeth and started to get sick, DH made me some toast and that helped a lot. For the last week he has said he didn't think I am pg but now he says he is sure I am, hope he's right. Ends up that he isn't going to leave for camping til monday now so I may cheat and test tomorrow, face it, I have enough tests I can spare one.

All of mine and DH's family are still up there so we go up several times a year. We are actually thinking about and hopefully moving back to the area next spring/summer!!

Nothing new is going on here. I'm CD 12 (ya remember I'm don't want to keep track:rolleyes: ) I had some CM around CD9 and 10 and nothing since. I usually O around CD14. So we shall see what happens. DH and I have tried to cover our bases, but with me being sick it has been a little hard. I'm feeling a little better, but I went to the DR yesterday and it turns out I have a sinus infection so I got some meds for that.

melg thanks, I got the card idea from this web site (www.twopeasinabucket.com), it has cards and scrapbook pages in it, thats where I steal all my ideas. Good luck catching the egg, from what I've heard BD every other day should be *enough* but its mainly recommended for those with low sperm count, so unless you guys have a problem there then BD every day would be the best, but don't wear yourself out.

Well, I went home from work today sick, I'm not really sick but just feel off, I have decided that I can no longer wear my perfume because it makes me sick, this is perfume that I have been wearing for a few years now and the last couple days its just been killing me. I have a feeling this is all in my head now though, I am working myself up way to much and I am going to be so upset...Why do I do this to myself???

me - we bd'd earlier this evening. two days in a row. I hope that doens't actually decrease our chances. no low sperm count that we know of...

DH is going to be out of town Tuesday AND Wednesday night :eek: so I'm not sure what we'll do about missing two nights. hmmm... wish I knew when O was so that I would know if this is actually a problem. Maybe we could rendezvous home during work/lunch on Tuesday for a quickie if it's necessary? nether of us work anywhere near home so this would not be easy!

Funny story on that topic - tonight was a quickie. About to go out for dinner with friends, DH decides it would be fun. So... turned out not to be so quick. We bd'd then I finished getting dressed after lying down for 15-20 minutes. We were about 20 minutes late! Luckily our friends were too and the restaurant didn't mind holding the reservation! oops! it was for a good purpose though! and she's pregnant and due in Oct. so if they knew I'm sure they would approve.;)
Anyway, at dinner they were telling us all the gross and crazy unexpected things about pregnancy and delivery that "no one tells you until it's too late". We were cracking up! Most of it I kind of knew. I'm sure there's more though!:confused:

melg good luck catching the egg, I don't think BD every day will lower your chances, on the front page it says you have a 1 in 3 chance each month if you BD everyother day and a 1 in 2.5 chance if you BD every day, so I think you should be fine.

Well, BFN again today, good thing I have the dollar store tests so I'm not waisting to much money, I think today is about 11 dpo so it could still be early but I don't know, I feel all crampy so AF may be on her way soon, but my BBs are now starting to get sore, especially my nipples so I am still holding out a little bit of hope.

I took a HPT early this morning and it came back BFN. I'm thinking it's still early since I'm only 11DPO. If AF isn't here by Wednesday, I will test again, she's due on Tuesday. Right before I woke up to test, I had a dream I was spotting and thought why should I even test I'm not PG. I woke up and tested but no spotting, weird!?

melg ~ you can do every other day if DH has low sperm count or you get tired fast. My DH gets tired fast so we only did it every other day but I think that might change is my BFN is really a BFN. Woo hoo for a quickie! :D

Chelase524 ~ Sorry about your BFN, I'm in the same boat, let's hope it was too early for us. I tried to the spot the MBFP but can never seem to figure her out.

Sunshine ~ good luck holding out on testing, I couldn't hold out & got a BFN. Some smells make me sick but I can still wear perfume.

After the detective work talk I did some detective work myself and I found 2 members that are expecting that haven't announced it, but both are still around. I also found a third who is probably pg but either hasn't tested yet, or hasn't posted that she has.

Hmm, now I'm curious, I know one girl from this thread and one from the charting thread, the charting one doesn't post anymore I don't think, but then there are some mighty pretty charts on the charting thread, 17 dpo and still hasn't taken a test, man, what will power! So I still can't find the other one you are talking about that is still around.

DelSol sorry about the BFN, I got mine this morning too, I think I am at 11 dpo as well, so hopefully it is just to early for both of us.

Well, I have no more FPS except my BBs are sore, but not extreamly sore like when I first was pg with DS#2 so we shall see.

The digital tests aren't as sensitive, I think they pick up at 100, where most tests are about 50, I like first responce early detection myself

Ok, someone help me. Is it possible to get EWCM after Oing, and I mean like 11 days after? This may be TMI but, I was feeling kind ok wet and thought AF had just started so I went to the bathroom and is was EWCM, and a lot of it. I was pretty sure I already O'ed and I really don't want to go through the 2ww all over again, I mean, if I am just now Oing we covered our bases really well, I made sure we BD after I saw the EWCM just in case and we have BD for the last few days but this is so frustrating, I really wish I could just chart to know what in the world is going on but DH is so against it. Now I may just hold out on testing for a while, no point in waisting tests. Sorry for my vent, just not what I was hoping to happen, I was happy this 2ww was almost over just in time for it to start, ahhh.

Actually Digitals pick up at 50 now, use to be said to be 100 but it's changed.

When I got my BFP both times I used Equate (Walmart) and CBE Digitals. Got my BFP at DPO11 with this pregnancy. I used the Equate first to see what it said, if it was positive I used the digital to confirm.

Man, we aren't having much luck this month are we? Sorry about the BFN. I didn't test because I have been spotting. It has only been brown but it has been fairly consistent for the past few days. I am just waiting for it to turn into full blown AF sometime by Tuesday. After that happens I will have to call my dr. to schedule the HSG again. Phbbt!

As far as "still around" I just mean she is still around the boards but not around this thread. One hasn't posted in here since May, but the others have posted more recently. I don't think that one is going to come here to announce it, but I hope the other(s) do.

Sorry I am still not doing SOs. I will probably get back into those in the next few days. I can't go all the way back but I do want to say thanks again for all your support. I saw my g-pa yesterday and although it was hard to see him emotionally I want to try to see him as many times as I can before he is gone.

I hope those of you whoe have tested recently just had it a little early.

Sorry girls, but I am out. Got AF today, browinsh red, horrible. I thought I covered all bases. I mean ALL...I was really thinking this was going to be our month. I thought it would be perfect espeically since we have no April B;day in any of our famlies, and like 2 that will turn one next May, I figured it would be awesome, to have an April B'day. But oh well, I guess God has a plan of his own. I just don't get it....I really don't. I mean seriously, I don't think we could have tried harder. It really bothers me, granted this is only the REAL first month of giving it a really good try, but really, I thought for sure we got it. I mean honselty, somone help me out, if I got AF today, wouldn't that have made me O on like the 7th or 8th. That would then make my cycles something like 30 ish days, Correct. Give or take (and trust me we made up for the give or take but many), so that I just really confused really upset, and completley annoyed that my sister in law has three kids, that she siad they have never planned. SO WTF is going on here, why so easy for her, and yet so hard for me.

Part of me thinks I should try and chart, but I really don't want to put that much on something. I am just so mad right now, I always though I had a pretty good handel on my cycles, and always believed that it would be easy when I did decided to get pregnant, now it seems like something that is so damn hard, it PISSSES me off.

SOrry for the nice long vent, but I am really aggrativated, it makes me so mad, I want this so bad, I really do, that is almost starting to drive me nuts!!!! Its so easy to say not to think about it, but damn, its really NOT!!! Anyhow, I can feel a really good week coming on!!! RIGHT, I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT.

Oh well its like Sunday night, and my DH is at work (24hrs Firefighter), so I am going to go sit on my couch, ALONE, and be depressed, while drinking enought wine to NUMB the cramps away.

Hope everyone has a nice night......TIme for some General Hospital, and a LOT of wine. No need to feel guily for that.

Over our holiday DH and I have decided to go back to TTA until next spring/summer. Not bad news...it actually goes back to our original plan and timeframe so I feel like some pressure is off.

dancn, that´s weird that you had the same symptoms as I did. Did you go to your doctor to get it checked? Sorry about AF! :( I know it is a big bummer if you have tried so hard. But even if you have perfect timing, your chances of getting and staying pregnant are only 25%. I know, that´s not fair if you consider how many women fall pregnant unwanted.

Sunshine, 18 May birthdays?! Wow, that´s crazy! We don´t have a single one. Your symptoms sound promising, especially that you get sick from smells. Good luck testing! :)

QOTD: I got both BFP with a Clearblue. The BFP with Maya with a regular one, the BFP with Olivia with a digital one. I have emailed Clearblue because they don´t say from which HCG count on the tests pick up. They said that both the digital and regular one pick up from 50 while the early pregnancy test you can use from 10DPO on picks up from 25. I have still another digital left. I´m torn if I prefer the digital or the non-digital. Somehow a line is more exciting but you don´t have to interpret faint lines. And you still see the lines once you eject it. So I guess I prefer digital Clearblues.

Thank you all for your good wishes! I haven´t felt weird during the past days, so I hope that everything is okay. I can feel my left ovary from time to time but only feel it. It doesn´t hurt, I can just feel that my ovary is there if that makes sense. AF has been very heavy from CD 2-4 and was nearly gone yesterday. Now I´m CD 6 and I would like to start BD on CD 8.
BUT: DH has had a tooth pulled out on Friday and has horrible tooth ache since then. He has been to the emergency dentist twice this weekend and they discovered that two little pieces of his jaw bone have broken off and infected the wound. Even though the pieces are out now, DH is still in horrible pain and lies in bed totally ill. He has had several numbing injections, he has taken several painkillers, he is starting antibiotics today for six days and they have put lidocaine into the wound for hours. So now I am not sure if we should TTC this month as I have no clue how or if this is affecting his sperm. Okay, first he has to feel a lot better anyway because in this state he is in, there is no way he would BD at all. But even if he feels better in two or three days, I am not sure if this is dangerous or not. Any thoughts?

Apart from that I have no clue who is hiding her pregnancy from us! :D Is it one of the regular posters? There are so many nominal members on the first page who I´ve never seen posting which I find confusing. Maybe it would be better if we just started out new every month and everyone who really wants to post copies their stats from the old threat. But congratulations, whoever it is!

Hi Bella! - I am just using the simple test strips. The actual monitors over here are so expensive. I did get faint lines twice last month but it never acutally got the positive line I should have gotten. May have been that I missed it, not sure. But I have some left over so I am going to use them!

I've been MIA because my DH's friends came up for the weekend (8 of them, plus a german shepherd, who all slept in my 3 bed, 1 bath cape cod!). So, needless to say, I've been a little preoccupied!!

So I just need some more experienced peoples opinion! AF is due to arrive tomorrow and still no PMS symptoms but some different symptoms like very tender nipples (I've never had this before) and they're leaking a very small but note-able amount of clear and milky fluid (never had this before either). No cramping (I ussually get AF cramping a couple days prior to AF arriving) or bloating as normal.
Is it to early to test today??

ceaserbride - I would say test tomorrow with FMU if AF hasn't arrived. Get a 2 pack of tests so that if it's negative and AF still didn't arrive in a few more days you can test again. AF could be delayed due to wedding stress as I see you got married very recently. But with leaking of the breasts it's possible you are pregnant. Good Luck

ok... I am really confused now. I started to have some spotting on DPO 10 and just thought that it was spotting before Af like usuall just a bit early. (I usually spot brown blood a few days before AF on a normal cycle. The spotting has stopped and never really amounted to much. AF isn't due until tomorrow so I am just confused...

I took an HPT on DPO 10 and it was negative so I know I'm not pg but, I just don't know what is going no now... Where is AF...???

Do you think it could be an early miscarriage or something like that?:confused:

Well, update on me.........I am afraid to test:p I dont have any HPT, and I am just at the point where I just want to see if AF shows(Which should be Wed/Thur.....tomorrow Could be the last day of my cycle since last month my cycle was 26 days, but it is usually 27)........LOL!

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been terribly busy as we are in the process of buying our first house. Yay!!

I have a question for all of you. This is my first cycle of TTC, and I've noticed that not long after we BD, the semen in coming out of me (sorry this is graphic!) Anyways, I've heard of people propping up their hips to keep it in, but is this really necessary? I just lay on my back until I feel it coming out, then I get up and clean up. My concern is that I'm not giving it enough time to swim up there!

Okay, so where did I go on my lunch break? I went to buy some HPT's! LMAO!:D This time I went to Walmart and found the cheapest tests there so far! 2 Tests for $10! YAY!
Soooo, If I test tomorrow it will either be 1 or 2 days early. The test I bought (One Step) it says that 1 day before is 87% and 2 is 84%...so pretty close!
Anyways, I figure that I can use the one test early as I have 2 now:D If AF shows, then I have 1 more for next cycle, if not, well, I can use the 2nd!

Yeah for going out and buying an HPT! FF is telling me my due date would be May 2nd. I think we have different CDs but we are the same for DPO. I can bet the doctor will have a different day for us!

Well, I had more EWCM this morning but it has completely dried up, and don't laugh at me but I took a HPT this morning, BFN as I expected, but then this afternoon I decided to take an OPK just to see, it was close to being positive but just a hair bit lighter. So if I did just barely O today then I guess that would be OK, I hate the idea of starting the 2ww all over again but I think we would have done a good job over covering our bases. I am going to attempt to hold out testing from now on unless I have some big FPS, I still have really sore BBs but maybe that is related to Oing. 14 DPO from today would be our anniversay, that would be kind of fun to get a BFP that day.

Well all afternoon I was peeing every other 30 mins, and everytime I wiped I checked for spotting and nada. Then I ate my usual Smartones frozen dinner for lunch and was starving after eating it. At 2 it was time for me to walk the 3 miles home and I pee'd before I left... and I had to stop and go again... this is what tipped me off. I stoped off at Walgreen's and picked up some HPT's and another frozen dinner since I was starving.:D

I put the frozen dinner in the microwave and took the HPT while it was cooking... BFP! It is a very faint line, but it's there and I can't really believe it...The spotting on Saturday must have been implantation spotting... I knew it didn't look 'normal'.

Thanks everyone for holding my hand through this! I can't wait for DH to come home so I can tell him. He is going to flip out.:D

Me - I'm 5 DPO, there is definitely no chance of having caught that egg which is a good thing seeing that I need to get rid of this acid reflux before there is a baby on the way. I started NPC this cycle so we'll see how that affects my LP and if it affects when I O next cycle.

pugzy - sperm are fast swimmers and can get to where they need to in the first few seconds of DTD. You really don't need to wait 30 mins with your hips up, but if you want to attempt it just pop a pillow under your hips and wait 20 mins or so. Tell hubby not to pull out right after he is done, that will help keep some of the sperm inside instead of them coming out.

I think Bella has the right thinking, if you aren't trying it will happen for you right away, if you are trying, it's not gonna happen right away.

As I mentioned above, I had some major pain on the way home, AF type cramps but nothing, there what looked like some creamy CM. We just got back from dinner and I swear I could have been sick while eating, probably my mind playing tricks on me but it wasn't fun trying to get those thoughts out of my mind while trying to eat. I told DH tomorrow is when we find out if we were successful in making a little one, he just shrugged his shoulders. I can tell he's not into it as much as me so it bums me out. I hope he gets more excited if I am PG.

I told DH tomorrow is when we find out if we were successful in making a little one, he just shrugged his shoulders. I can tell he's not into it as much as me so it bums me out. I hope he gets more excited if I am PG.

Just had to respond to this - my DH was the same way last month when I was hopeful - they don't get it the same way - but I'm sure he will come around. It's just that it's easier for us to obsess about things - well, me anyway :rolleyes:

Phew - I tried to hit everybody - sorry if I missed anyone. As for me, CD 16 - I'm thinking I o'ed yesterday. It was sometime between Sat night and yesterday I think. Fri night and Sat afternoon I got a positive OPK. Took one tonight (was out of town yesterday) and got a negative, so I'm hoping that means Sat night/yesterday was O day.

We'll see. I told DH we'll see what happens this month - but next moth we may ahve to use the 'marriedagoali' method, b/c I would really like to be due by next June if at all possible, *lol* (Of course I would like a healthy pregnancy whenever it happens, but a girl can dream a bit, right?)

and so - another 2 WW begins. Last month I was so busy I barely noticed till the end - hope I can do that again (but not looking good so far - already today I was thinking, c'mon sperm - go meet that egg! (yes, I am a freak!)

Hey girls! I only have a few minutes because I have had a long day at work (meetings all day and then open house tonight) but I wanted to pop in here and root you all on! I hope that we get some more BFPs soon!

Congrats Berber! That is such great news. Remember to come back and tell us your due date and how your DH reacted.

Welcome Monty! I agree with the others that if AF is due already you can test any day and see.

Well today is CD 1 for me. The white capris worked for me but luckily I was ready for her so it wasn't an issue. Well except for the horrible cramps I had this month and of course those came just in time for open house when I am supposed to be perky while seeing all these students and meeting all these parents for the first time. Nice!:rolleyes: I will be calling my dr. tomorrow to set up the HSG. I told DH that I expected them to want to do it on Monday and he wants me to see if they will do it Tuesday instead because he has to do training. :rolleyes: I told him I'll see what I can do. The only good thing about the whole g-pa thing is that TTC seems pretty inconsequencial so I am not too upset by AF coming and I wasn't obsessing before she came.

Robyn - I only got a faint line for 2 days last month. I guess I missed the surge. But I have already started testing this month.

FSUSammy - sorry you don't think you caught the egg this month. Hope the acid reflux is getting better.

Bella - how is your DH doing?

I think I stressed myself out too much the first few months so now I am trying and succeeding in not thinking much about it. I am keeping track of my temps but trying not to obsess.

My doctor called last night. Test results were normal!!! That is great. DH has his SA towards the end of September. I still can't believe they are that backed up :( By then we will be at almost 9 months off BCP so my doctor is sure that my insurance will cover CLomid for me. But we are going to give it a try till then and hopefully get lucky!!

I had laugh at DH. I noticed he wasn't wearing his tighty whiteys much lately and I asked him why. He gave me a sly smile and said he was trying to help out by keeping the boys free :p
