How to calculate miscarriage date

I'm not sure if my title is clear but I'm wondering what is considered the date of miscarriage in a missed abortion or similar situation. In my case I started spotting in my 11th week and had a ultrasound that showed the fetus had stopped developing in the 9th week. I kept spotting/bleeding lightly for another week or so before taking some medications to induce and I finally passed the "products of conception" in my 13th week. So, when did I have the miscarriage? When people have asked, I usually just say at the end of my 1st trimester but I have a drs. appt. and some paperwork to fill out and I'm not sure what to put.

I'm not 100% positive, but I would say at the 9th week when the baby stoped developing.

My missed abortion was discovered during the 11th week although the baby had probably died during the 10th week, according to its growth. On the day of the d&c I started the 12th week. In the pathology report I received they stated this as a "missed abortion 11th week". So in your case I would probably say 11th week too. But if you are not sure, I would leave that out, ask your doctor and fill that in during your appointment.

I'm not sure but I'd leave those questions blank and ask your doctor what wk to put down as the m/c date/wk.
