I can't quite articulate the morbid irony of saving a man on death row. No killing yourself! Only WE do the killing round here!
Honestly I'm torn on how I feel about the death penalty, but I thought this was just humorous in a non-funny way. What he did was beyond terrible, and personally I think offing himself would have been a nice resolution to the problem without anyone else having to get their hands dirty.
