Just wondering if any of you either have Type II diabetes or have a spouse with it. My DH just got diagnosed this weekend and was told that if he loses weight (70 pounds) more than likely it will go into remission. He is on acto plus met (metformin) - 2 pills a day and on a strict 1,800 calorie diet. So any information on dealing with this, recipes, just all-around support would be appreciated.
It is definently a life-style change for the both of us. Having to rethink and relearn how to cook a healthier way.
So far he has lost 3 pounds and I have lost two. Thanks in advance!:D
