"unofficial" gender predictions

It's still too early for us to tell the gender of our baby, but already I've had people telling me "it's a girl because you're so sick" and "it has to be a girl because the heartrate was so high".

I'm just wondering what others have heard in terms of "it's a girl because....." or "it's a boy because....."

Ugh. I heard 'em all!!!

*It's a boy because you're showing out front.
*It's a girl because you were so sick (ditto yours).
*It's a girl because the heartrate is high (ditto yours again).
*It's a boy because you can't stand sweet foods.
*It's a boy because you are carrying low.


Some were right, some were wrong - I'm having a little boy! :D All of these did drive me NUTS before I knew, though.

I say, go with your gut feeling. I felt I was having a boy, even though:

The heart rate was high (171 at 10 weeks, 174 at 12 weeks, 167 at 16 weeks)
I crave sweets like there's no tomorrow
I was very sick for the first 4 months
The Chinese chart said I would have a girl

All of those things pointed to girl, but I knew from the moment I found out we were PG, I was having a boy. :)

It's going to drive you nuts though, until you find out (by U/S or waitting until birth) but that's all part of the fun! :)
