What did you do with all your hangers that came with clothes? I don't hang ANYTHING, so I have a gazillion (yes, I counted!) and I don't know if I should just get rid of them or if there is a useful alternative.
So, what did you do with all your baby hangers?

I am the same way. I thought I was the only who folded everything??!!! I just throw them away.

I throw the ones from the store away. I'm weird and anal and like all of my hangers to be the same LOL. If I buy a dress or something that comes with bloomers, i'll keep the lower part of the hanger that the bloomers are clipped onto. Those slide right over the hangers we use and that way I can still keep the bloomers with the outfit ;)
We hang a lot of stuff though (mainly dresses or things I don't want to get wrinkled, like her "fancy" or more expensive stuff, etc).

I hang up everything, but I STILL have a gazillion hangers. I've started throwing them away as they were/are driving me batty.

You can freecycle (http://www.freecycle.org/)them. Or you can ask for the stores to keep the hangers (which is what I normally do).

I do what Booey does.
You can also save them for yard sales--it's easier for customers to browse your items if they're hanging up.

I got rid of them all except the ones with clips. I use those to hang DH's and my pants (we hang them upside down from the hems/cuffs).

There's a store called Once Upon A Child. They take used stuff and resell it. Its all kids stuff. Maybe you see if they have one in your area and bring them there. I don't think you'll get money for them, but its better tan throwing them out.

I either throw them out or I tell the store to keep them. I use wooden hangers so all the hangers are the same.

Just a thought - Could a thrift store use them? Could you donate them to Goodwill?
I order most of my kids' clothes online, so no hangers, but when I do get them I throw them out in favor of white plastic ones.

Everytime I read this thread title, I think of the movie bout Joan Crawford, Mommie Dearest. I just keep hearing Faye Dunaway screaming, "No more wire hangers!"
At any rate, we fold everything too, so I tend to take the hangers off at the store and hand them to the sales person when I'm rung up.

I'm always asked if I want the hangers and say no. I figure they can reuse them or deal with them and I won't have to feel guilty about filling up the landfill or find a use for them.

Send them to me! I never have enough of the clippy kind that slip onto regular hangers to keep her bloomers with her dresses.
