After spending much of today looking for neutral themes/clothes for babies, I decided we must create a thread to share all the good ideas! Please post anything that would work for a boy OR girl and include the site if possible.
I'll start!
My favorite bedding so far

I was going to stay out of this - trying to ward off the baby bug, but it didn't work :)

I like Gingham, in the red & blue, then it'd be easy to turn it into a todlers room, adding things that fit the sex.

Even though DH and I intend to find out the baby's sex when we are expecting, I am very big on gender-neutral baby gear.
So thanks for starting this thread, Mel7dog!!! :)

Even know we knew the sex with DC#1 I wanted GN so I could use the same room for our future kiddo. It works out great since this kiddo is a surprise. We won't be using the things in the same way but can still use all the pieces.

We were unsure of the sex with Joey (U/S was unclear) so I did his room mostly GN. Hope these pictures aren't too small.
The walls are pale apple green, and the bedding is from Pottery Barn in white, light blue, light purple, and darker apple green.
Although the crib bumper has small flowers on it (some might say girly -- but we really didn't leave the bumper in all that much) -- we mostly used the stripe in this set, on the crib skirt and the valances.
http://www.treglio.net/album/dec/images/crib.jpg
I'm a big Richard Scarry fan. I took our different pieces, all painted white, and painted RS characters on them to 'individualize' them and tie them all together (the armoire and crib were from my own nursery -- yes, I checked out the crib's safety first! -- while the dresser was from another set).
I also found RS character stuffed animals on eBay, and the white shelves and small table were from Ikea.

http://www.treglio.net/album/dec/images/library.jpg
http://www.treglio.net/album/dec/images/viewfromcrib.jpg
This is a shot from the hallway, and the paint color shows up a bit better. We hadn't hung anything yet, but I found a few RS prints and posters for the walls. This is also without the large area rug (also from PB, in shades of blue, green and white) -- that didn't arrive until after Joey. :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else think most gender neutral stuff is more "boyish" than "girlie"?
Our baby is a surprise, but I think I'm going to mainly wait on the nursery until (s)he is born. I'm picking out and registering for boy and girl bedding; whatever we don't need we'll take back. Some of our friends and family are very adamant about what they think we're having, so I have a feeling those people will buy the bedding for us. If they don't, we'll buy it after the baby is born. The room already is painted, and I'll go with bright pink accents if it's a girl and stick with bright blue and green if it's a boy. I'll have shelves hung, furniture in place and stuff picked out, but we'll wait on the rest. I figure the baby will sleep in our room for the first few months anyway.

I searched high and low until I found the perfect gender neutral nursery set, and I loved it so much that I think I probably still would have picked it even if we knew the sex:
http://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/03/42/15/00/0003421500094_500X500.jpg
It's called "Little Pond" by Cathy Heck. I stumbled across it on eBay and was surprised to find that many of the pieces are available at Walmart. The wallpaper border and a few other pieces I had to get off eBay since they were really hard to find.
Here's the finished nursery:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a141/kalphen/P1010117.jpg?t=1202510704
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a141/kalphen/P1010115.jpg?t=1202510762
When we moved I bought more of the wallpaper border and painted her new room the same way. The new room was much smaller though:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a141/kalphen/IMG_2733.jpg?t=1202510899
A lot of people actually thought it was more girly than neutral, but that was probably because of the lavender and yellow walls.
We're finding out the gender, but I'm going with a gender-neutral space mostly because I'm not a fan of girlie things. So I picked turquoise and green as our colors:
http://www.mamamiastore.com/shop/store_images/ryan.jpg
I don't think it's particularly boyish! Although I'm still not sure if we'll go with it or not, we just got a polka dot bedding set for the queen bed in the room and it might just be too much. In that case, I'll just use a tiny polka dot print that I already have for the crib mattress (we're not having a crib per se)

Sol-I love that crib bedding! Where is it from?
It's from Caden Lane. They have a couple other sets with the same fabrics, and also some all-pink ones with the same patterns.
Still, I ended up getting this bassinet set instead. We're not getting a crib (floor bed + moses basket) so I had planned on buying the fabric by the yard from Caden Lane and sewing the moses basket bedding, but I got lazy and went with these instead:

http://www.potterybarnkids.com/pkimgs/ab/images/products/200805/0014/img56m.jpg
Plus, it's organic cotton, so I really liked that.
And this fitted sheet for the floor bed:

(the background is actually cream IRL, not white).
