I had to clean up some serious projectile vomit and I still can't get rid of the smell! .
Any ideas how to get the bathroom smelling fresh again?

Not a mom of a 4+ year old child, but your post caught my eye. Is there something baking soda could do to remove the stench? Maybe leave a few boxes of baking soda open in the room to see if they absorb the smell the way they absorb smells in the refrigerator? I thought you were the Queen of baking soda ;)

Yup, I am the Queen Of Baking Soda, and it doesn't work on a room this size! I'm at my wits end. I'm trying the amonia thing today. My only other choice is to blow up the bathroom and rebuild it. :p
would an air freshner work?
also, if you run some stand alone fans, open windows and doors, it should air out the bathroom and get out the stench, too.

Hmm, how about vinegar or febreeze?
ok, after a little internet research. i really have too much time on my hands and should be painting the porch or studying!!
these products seem to work
-Arm & Hammer Pet Fresh
-Nature's Miracle
also, there were steps on how to remove it:
-use a product that contains peroxides and detergents such as bi-ox citrus concentrate
-spray on area and let sit for 5 mins
-use clean, white, absorbent cloth. press firmy and blot for 30 seconds.
-repeat process until dry.
-if odor persists, repeat process.

Ohh, just remembered something else, OdoBan (sp?), they have it at Sams club. Anyway DH swears by that stuff for taking out the stink! It kinda smells like flowers.

OdoBan from Sam's Club is GREAT stuff. We use it at the shelter, and what could be stinker than 200 dogs living together?!?! :D
