I'm going to my new boss's house party and will be taking a side dish, but I want to take a little token for her two girls as well. They are 5 and 4. What is something I can get them that is age appropriate, and that is okay to give without permission? (For example, I wouldn't give them junk food or sweets without asking.)

Little arts & crafts kits? Michael's has tons of cute, simple, inexpensive stuff. Suncatcher kits, make-your-own-flip flops, etc. Something they can do with mom on a Sunday afternoon?

Thanks! I stopped at Michael's after work and ended up getting a bubble kit. When I was little all you got was a jar and a wand, now they make colored bubbles and fancy straws with designs to blow them...I'm almost tempted to keep it! :p
