You can just put the pounds lost! ;) Also, you don't have to post now...if you can wait until you actual weigh in day, that way you don't have to come back each week and edit! :)

I think most of my weight this week was truly water gain - because when I started I was feeling bloated due to AF. But I guess weight is weight, and I do feel healthier with the way I've been eating!

Lauren~Personally I would stick to your scale, only because that is the scale you will be weighing yourself on every week! :) Every scale will say something different...my parents scale says I am 1.5 pounds less then what my scale says! As much as I love the number on their scale...I stick with my scale that makes me look bigger! LOL :p

boilermaker - I started drinking LOTS of water, eating a bigger breakfast than before, and I joined WW online so I could have healthy realistic "parameters" on my intake. If at all possible I try to get in exercise (not possible, but at least several days a week) preferably in the morning so my metabolism can kick up a notch for more of the day rather than less of it. I don't care even if its 10-20 minutes (sometimes I can only fit in 10, some days 20, some days 30 or 40 minutes), whatever it is, its something.

Awww... thanks for the encouragement!!! Aunt Flo actually came my first week of WW (3 weeks ago), and she isn't expected to arrive for another 3 months. I think I just worked out too much (if that's possible) and its all muscle gain... I hope! Thanks again!

I'm going with my weight from earlier this week - I went running yesterday (9 miles) and then had salty food during the day - and suddenly this morning said I gained 3 pounds (overnight!) - I'm not buying it!
and trying not to freak out - but my weight is really creeping up. I am buckling down now - I will get this weight off (or at least moving in the right direction) by Labor Day!
(I am at least 10 pounds heavier than I was a year ago! aargh!)

I have a digital scale and I love it. It's my second one because my kids broke the last one from weighing themselves 10 times a day (FTW, they don't have body issues, it's because my 6yo is bigger than my 7yo and my 7yo figures if he can't be taller he'll try to be heavier; and I have a 5yo who is very small for his size and is pleased as pie when he gains weight after meals because that means he's getting bigger ;) ). Now I have a weight watchers scale that is supposed to calculate body fat%. It shows weight in 0.2lb increments which I love. It seems consistent and very accurate.

Week 8:If you were doing really well the lb gained could mean that you were doing really well. If you're lifting weights it's most likely muscle, and even if you're not lifting weights it still could be muscle. Also, unless there's a drastic change in your food intake (ie. SBD, Atkins, cutting out several pop a day....or something similar) you're not going to experience a drastic weight loss.

I also really felt like I was doing well because I just feel better and clothes are fitting better. I'll stay optimistic and stick with it though.
