Thanks for the motivation- it helps! These first couple days will be brutal but I know it'll get better :) I've been doing WW since I was 6 years old (damn mom for starting the food obsession early!) and know it does work! Thanks again!

I've been a lifetime member for a year now. While I still want to pig out, I mean it when I say it gets easier. If you looked in my refrigerator and pantry now, you'd see much different food than was in there a few years ago. Plus, I continue to get better at estimating portion sizes.

The funny thing is that now I actually need more calories and food in my diet. I have never really dieted--and although I love to think about food I can easily become preoccupied with 1,001 other things and not actually eat. So, posting is good because it enables me to strategize foodwise and review whether I have achieved my dietary goals...
The day is not yet over...but I here is what it looks like:
Breakfast: 1 apple, 3 pieces of toast with homemade chutney
Lunch: ham & cheese sandwich, tostones chips, vitamin water
Snack: 1 piece of dark chocolate, carrots with pasteurized blue cheese dressing
Dinner (being prepared now): Tacos (lean ground beef, taco shells, onions, tomatoes, avocado, cheese), lemonade, and a mix of blueberry and mango sorbet.

11-30-2005, 05:51 PM
B/L: Luna Bar, banana, 100 calorie pack

Snack: Sugar Free Jello, 5 goldfish crackers, and a skinny cow later.

Ugh, I'm back to writing things down after about a month "off." Maybe 2. Anyway...
B: whole-wheat english muffin, 2 links chicken sausage, coffee w/1 c. skim milk (several cups to total the 1 cup of milk)
L: 1/2 Trader Joe's "Alsatian tart", salad with evoo & balsamic
S: reduced-fat cheese stick, carrots & l.f. dip, mini pitas with hummus
D: Cooking Light recipe: Pork strips with rice noodles and peanut sauce (has red peppers, I also added broccoli)
Post dinner: 1 c cocoa made with skim milk
My "plan" is with a nutritionist, but for those doing WW, it probably looks familiar :). I'm "allowed" 1900 calories/day, but I'm trying to keep it a little lower during the week so I don't feel all deprived at weekend parties, etc.
Brandy
12-01-2005, 07:25 PM
B: Caramel Apple Cider, Luna Bar
S: 100 calorie pack, Sugar Free Jello with FF Cool Whip
D: 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese and two slices wheat toast.
S: 3 points of chocolate
Then I lost it and had two pieces of toast and a coke.
Ugh, I am over by 8 points. I guess that is what flex is for though.

Glad to find this thread since I'm trying to be serious about losing weight. My goal is to lose 25 pounds, but if I can just maintain through the holidays I'll be glad.
Brunch - apple and string cheese
Snack - pretzel bits (kinda bad)
Dinner - some frozen pizza and some Almond Rocas:o (so I was kind of bad today, but there's always tomorrow, right?)
