young female covering "The Weight"?

DH has an mp3 of a girl singing "The Weight", originally by The Band. He can't remember her name, but said she was really young when it was recorded, about 17 or 18. Does anyone know who she is? He got it from a roommate about four years ago.

Found her -- it's Shannon Curfman, and she was actually 13 when this song was recorded (on her first album). :eek:
