One with some sort of door in it? All I can find are hardware mounted ones. Even with extentions none of the pressure-mounted ones I've seen are wide enough.

Thanks!

They have this one at BRU that goes up to 60" and is pressure mounted....

It's only $34.99 and has a 4 out of 5 star rating (and good review), so it must be pretty good :)

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Booey. We actually tried that one, but it's too tall - I can barely step over it and it has no door to open....

Oh poo :(

Yeah, our opening from our kitchen to living room is big. We ended having a "pony wall" built and then using a small/regular hands free gate because like you, we couldn't find a pressure mounted gate big enough. We knew that with enough pressure of the baby and the dog, the hardware mounted ones would leave holes in the walls that we would have to repair over and over, so yeah, we opted for having the wall built.

Bad pics, but here are the before and after....

BEFORE....

AFTER (right after it was done, so that's why the gate isn't up - the paint was still wet)...

For us it was worth it since our dog stays in the kitchen while we are gone (so we've needed "baby" gates since before the REAL baby hehe).

This is the gate we have (and love)...
