View Full Version : Bottlefeeding Help Needed

DD is 3.5 weeks old. We have tried 2x to introduce the bottle to her w/ no success. We are using the Avent Naturals with the Newborn nipples. She latched on a couple of times and tried to suck, but got frustrated when she couldn't get anything out (it seemed).

Any suggestions on different brands and/or nipple/bottle combos we should try? FYI, I have a very big milk supply and DD seems to be used to getting a lot of milk fast.

We always used the Playtex nurser with the drop-in liner. We started DS on the Stage 1 nipple but quickly moved to the Stage 2. We didn't have any issues with nipple confusion.

Same here -we used the Playtex nurser with the drop in liners and used the stage 2 nipples. Worked well for us...the flow was great!

So, are those the Playtex Nurser Premiums or Playtex Nurser Disposables? Can the liners go in any of these or only a certain one?

The liners can go in either of them - you don't use liners with the Ventaire bottles though. Here are pictures of 2 types you can use liners with - available at Target or Walmart (or pretty much anywhere).
