View Full Version : Do you collect Willow Tree figurines?

I just bought my first one off of eBay today. It's the "together" figurine. BF and I saw the figurines in a store the other day, and we both liked them so I thought I'd start collecting them.

Anyone else collect them? Which ones do you have?

Does the "promise" one mean "engagement"?

Are there other Willow Tree figurines besides the "lifetime milestone" ones?

I bought one for my mom on Mother's Day and she absolutely loved it. I got her the grandmother one.

I really like them and wouldn't mind having a couple of them for special occasions. I am already hinting to DH that I want the family one for my labor and delivery present.

And maybe this one later.

ETA- Here's the first website that came up when I googled Willow statues.

My cousin got us the bride and groom one (Don't know the name) as our wedding present and DH and I both love it. People always comment on it, too, everyone likes it!

My SIL collects them and I've gotten a couple. She gave me "Promise" for Christmas a couple of years ago and I got "Together" as a wedding gift from a friend.

I like them and would rather get them as gifts than buy them for myself. It's just not something I'd go out and buy for myself.

They also have Willow Tree angels. They are all little angels with different meanings.

I started when I was given the friendship one from a friend. I have a couple more that mean a lot. I really collected because of the Nativity set. I am not a big collecotr but love it.

One of my friends gave me Together when we got engaged. DH gave me Promise for Christmas. I would love to continue to collect the pieces for special occasions. I hope we I get pregnant and have children to get those particular figurines. I also have Hope (I think). It is the one holding a light. It is a hanging one I put on my Christmas tree.

We have quite a few.

Our first set is the nativity set. It was a wedding present. I love the simplicity of it.

I have these two (both gifts):

I would love to someday have the whole nativity set, but it seems like a lot of money to spend on something that is only displayed for maybe 1 month out of the year. Maybe someday...

Apparently my mother thinks I collect them because she keeps giving them to me. :) I do like them, though.

For our wedding we got the Together one that Andrea posted. Then I got the pregnant one while I was pregnant (obviously). She gave us the new family one when DD was born, and the mom and baby one for my first Mother's Day.

My DH's ex wife loves angels so I always buy the angel ornaments for her from the kids for the holidays and her birthday.

I have always loved these but would prefer to get them as a gift rather than buy them for myself. A gift from DH counts too! lol.

We have the nativity scene and an angel (i think of "learning" or "education"? or something similar)- I received both as gifts. I probably wouldn't purchase any more myself unless they become more diverse in both color and in theme.

I was going to say the same thing... I got the full nativity from DH the Christmas before we were married and I haven't taken it down. It may seem kind of silly to keep a nativity up through summer- but I think it's so beautiful. It also keeps me focused on the most important things in life when I see it. I love having it up all year (for those who don't want to pay so much just to put it up once, why not keep it up?)

I love Willow Tree. I started with the Angels.. but now I've kind of grown out of those. I love the life ones.

Oh, I love these! I never had any until I got PG, but I got this one from my grandparents when they found out:

"Awaiting a Miracle"
http://images1.snapfish.com/34793%3C87%3B%7Ffp352%3Enu%3D3266%3E954%3E687%3EWS NRCG%3D32339%3B%3C29%3B%3B%3B8nu0mrj

DH got me this one for our recent anniversary, which meant so much. I never even hinted that I wanted it or anything.
"Miracle of New Life"
http://images1.snapfish.com/34793%3C87%3B%7Ffp34%3A%3Enu%3D3266%3E954%3E687%3E WSNRCG%3D32339%3B%3C28%3B585nu0mrj

I don't want a crazy amount, but I would like a few more at special times in life.

This may sound silly, but do they sell the items on their website? Is there a website?

I really want the nativity set. My mom/MIL are constantly asking me what I want for christmas. I would really love a new nativity (my current one was my grandma's and isn't in good shape).
