ETA Um...sorry about the title. I hit space, and the post submitted. and now I can't edit it. Sigh. It was meant to say "Mother's Day Brunch HELP!"
Ok - help from the cooks here. I'm doing mother's day brunch, and was planning to do a dish that we've always called "Strada". It is essentially an egg/milk mixture with vegetables and cheese that is made the day before and then refrigerated. The bread soaks up the mixture overnight, then you bake the whole sucker the next morning. It is delicious and fabulous.
I just did a google search, and nothing came up. Gah! Is this called something else? I know it isn't a frittata, because of the prep work. I need to make it tomorrow, so I need help! Anyone have a good recipe?
