Looking for OB in Northern VA!!

Hey ladies!! Short delima for you all.... I had and appt with a midwife I'm about 6w5d)the other day (loved her) but on Friday I had to go back and get some results for my lab work and the MW was not there so I met with another Ob in the same practice and let me tell you I have never ever met someone like this lady!!! she had teh personality of a wall!! My Dh came with me to that appt and even he was disgusted with her and he is cery laid back, she did not ans any of my questions she bascially saw us for 2 mins and left. Anyways needless to say she changed my mind about the whole practice because the day i go onto labor she could be on call!!!!

So do you any of you on this board live in the Northern VA area? Can someone recommed a Ob who will treat you like a human being instead of another number? Im really desparate any ideas??

I just switched to Physicians & Midwives in Alexandria. I've only met one midwife but I really liked her. I had my son with OB/GYN Physicians of Washington and the Takoma Midwives. I loved them but they deliver at Sibley, so it's quite a haul from NoVa.

I think a lot of people around here choose a hospital first then work backwards from there to find a practice. I know that if I have another one while we live here, I want to deliver at Alexandria Hospital.

I go to Physicans and Midwives on Kenmore Street in Alexandria. I love them. I had DD#1 with them and am due with #2 in July. So far they have been great this time as well.

I don't know where in NOVA you are, but I used to go to a great OB/Gyn in Fairfax. I'm blanking on her first name, but her last name is Kelly. She's fairly young and very nice. I went to their Fair Oaks office, but they also have an office near Fairfax hospital I think.

My OB/GYN is G. Neil Foster with the Loudoun Medical Group. He's locatec in the professional offices at Loudoun Medical Center in Lansdowne (Leesburg).

I've seen him for almost a year now and really like him. He's very focused when talking with you, doesn't rush you, and has a great personality. (His personality came out on the 2nd visit.) I've had 4 visits with him so far, 2 consults and 2 exams.

Before we moved out of state, I used to go to the VA Women's Health Associates in the Reston Hospital complex, and they were always very nice and helpful.

Well i did end up finding an Ob and he is wonderful!!! he actually delivers at Fairfax Hospital which is good for us! Thanks for all your help!!
