Butter Buds vs real butter

I found a recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies that I want to make, but it calls for Butter Buds, which I do not have (and would really rather use real butter). Does anyone know if there is a conversion and if so, what is it? The recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of Butter Buds. TIA!
