I am about 2DPO right now, and am not obsessing yet. That's a huge step for me! I am very proud of myself! :D
I will be testing on the 18th.
Here is my chart (http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/Shanes_Angel).

4DPO with high temps! Hoping it is a good sign and not just the Clomid!!!

10DPO with temps higher then normal. I was wondering if my temps being so high, they have never been this high during past 2WW, if it was a sign of something good going on? Someone posted that it doesn't normally mean anything. Has anyone here heard differently.
I have been very bad, taking two pregnancy test already. Why? I know it's to early but my curiosity got the best of me. I have now promised myself not to test till Tue or Wed. I wish I could hold out longer but know it's not realistic. Why does this happen?!
Internally I feel very good that this might be it. I recently had a miscarriage and this 2ww period I am having a lot of the same symptoms I had when I got a BFP that cycle. I hope my feelings are correct.

7 DPO, probably testing starting Tuesday, since I just love POAS & making myself miserable. Actually, if my recent symptoms are indeed from implantation, then Tues would be 3 days later, supposedly enough time for the hcg to show up.
ETA: Yes, I'm obsessing. But it's my first 2ww, so I'm allowed :P

Oh yay! I'm so glad to join! :D I'm at 8dpo today. I'll test on Thursday (12dpo). I stopped temping this cycle after I was certain of my O date because I was losing too much sleep last cycle by waking up at around 5:30 in anticipation of temping. This go-around, I'm MUCH more well-rested. Only FPS to report are creamy CM and being gassy. :o I first thought it was some food I ate earlier in the week but it's continued.
bumble, I would sure think higher than normal temps would definitely be a good thing but I'm no expert. I hope you come back here in the next couple of days with some great news!!!
And hello to you miss Amanda! Fancy seeing you here! :D I'm so glad you started this thread. I enjoyed it so much on the other site. Good for you for not obsessing yet! It's so darn hard. The more you try not to think about it, of course, the more you think about it. I hope the 100mg is all your lil' body needed to get a BFP! :D
gmb4503, I hope your temps remain high from here on out. Have you thought of when you'd like to test????
Edited: flygirl, we must have posted at the same time. It sure sounds like you have some very promising symptoms from the sounds of the TTCw/charting thread. I hope you hit jackpot on your first try!!!

Can I join? This my very first 2ww. I *think* I O'd sometime last weekend, so if no AF (fingers crossed!) by Friday, I will buy my first ever pregnancy test (yikes!) and see what happens. I was going to buy one at the grocery store today, but there was a couple lurking around the "family planning" aisle. They were actually browsing the paperback books that are set up right next to all the family planning stuff, but I know they weren't just looking for reading material ;)

I was looking at it, thinking "that's looks very familiar." I'm seeing MY chart from last cycle.:) I've seen it before, when someone posts the url from the address bar, we see it as our own charts. Someone not on FF would probably see an X.
Erika, if you want to post a pic of your chart, grab the URL from the properties, instead of the address bar :)

Morning ladies!!! Another bit of a temp rise this morning with lots of thick creamy CM. Oh the obsessing has really begun!!! I tried to not temp in the past, but for me that just makes it worse.
Shannon I typically have a 13 day LP so I am not buying any tests until at least then. I can't keep them in the house cause I'd be POAS already!

Hi!! I hope everyone's doing well and surviving the 2ww. I had a temp drop this morning, and I'm trying not to think it's implantation dip. I have to keep reminding myself to stay calm and not stress out about ttc - so hard though!

07-11-2005, 03:28 PM
Gina, Your chart looks great!! :D But you have to remember that Clomid almost always gives you a pretty chart, so be aware of that! Not to say that it isn't for the right reason, but...you know what I mean! ;) Good luck!!
Flygirl, Your ID looks awesome! Let the obsessing begin! But honestly, 8DPO is WAY too early to test!!!! Don't torture yourself! At least wait until 10DPO! Or don't be the least bit disappointed if it is a BFN tomorrow!
Littlestar, I think you O'd on CD12, which is good because you BD'd that day! :D Fingers crossed!
Shannon, Yay for gassy! :p

wishing lots of BFP to everyone. i think i might be out of this one. i had a HUGE temp drop today (CD11) and it looks like my period is starting. ttc sucks sometimes!! on to a new month i guess. i hope that won't be the case for too many of you.

Oh bumble, I'm so sorry that you think AF is coming. :(
9DPO-Well, I almost hate to write this because I sometimes think that my body is inventing FPS because I want a BFP so bad...but for the last 1.5 days I've had a weird dull ache in my tummy that comes and goes. Like I said, I'm not putting too much stock in it because I'm starting to think I'm getting TTC-induced hallucinations. I'm back to temping this week until my temp drops or I get a BFP.
Dh's bday is Sunday and oh how I'd love to give him a big surprise on his bday!!!
Baby Lust

Thanks for the reality check Amanda ;) I was getting abit to far ahead of myself!!! Looking at past charts, 14DPO is *really* the only indicator for me!!!
My hubby's birthday is Aug 2 and I would love to keep a BFP a surprise. However, I know myself and I think if I do have a BFP I will need to plan an early birthday night out!!!

Just wondering how everyone was doing. I'm at 10dpo. I think I'll test tomorrow if my temps remain high. Although all of my FPS have fallen by the wayside so I'm really not expecting much....wishing and hoping though!

Hello all. I am going to join. I am on 2DPO although I really think I O'd on Sat. I tend to have breakouts right around ovulation and Sat night it started, Sun was full blown. Everything I read said breakouts occur after, so I am not sure. None-the-less, I am tired, brokeout, feel bloated and gassy. This better be it 'cause I feel crappy.
As for testing. This is our first cycle really trying. I am petrified of actually testing. I can't imagine who I will see at the store when I go to pick up a test  So I will probably wait until the very end of July or beginning of August. But remember this is day 2 so I reserve the right to change my mind and test on day 10 on ;) My LP is usually 12-14 days, so I can't get too anxious to early.
Sorry for the book, but glad to share in the ups and downs of these 2WW with y'all. There are a lot of good looking charts in here!!

Hi everyone! I think I'm 8 DPO. This is my first 2WW too, and I haven't been charting. I did read TCOYF and noticed changes in CM, which is how I am basing my O date (since it was close to when it was expected).
I've got a heightened sense of smell, which I find really weird, and VERY sore BBs (I don't think they've ever been this sore). I also have been really tired, going to bed at 9 am last night and sleeping all the way until my alarm sounded at 6! That's 9 hours of sleep! I also have noticed creamy CM, which I don't think is normal but I never really paid attention to CM before reading TCOYF. And I, too, have been gassy but I just attributed that to food. Is that a pregnancy symptom? I didn't see it mentioned on any of the random websites I found when I googled "pregnancy symptom."
I already picked up 2 tests at Target, I think it was Answer brand but I know it claimed to allow testing 4 days before your period is expected so it should have more sensitivity than the EPT ones I got from Costco a while back. I will try to wait until Friday to test.
Baby Lust
07-12-2005, 09:40 PM
How's everyone holding up? Any testers in the near future?
Ericka, I'm so sorry AF showed! :(
Shannon, Your chart looks good!
Gina, Don't give up hope, by any means, but try not to read too much into your chart or FPS. Clomid is evil in the 2WW!
Guinness, Welcome! I hope this is your first and only 2WW! I felt the same way when I bought my first HPT since TTC! We actually bought them in another town because we happened to be there, and knew we wouldn't know anyone! :o Pathetic, huh?
QOTD: What is the one FPS you always notice right away?
Mine is frequent urination and extreme fatigue.
gmb4503

Ah shucks Amanda....how could I resist shouting it from the rooftops?!? I got a BFP this morning, albeit it's faint but I confirmed with my friends in the TTCw/charting thread that it is, indeed, a BFP. :D I'm so cautiously excited (is that possible?!) I'm going to try to wait till friday evening to tell Dh. The wait isn't all that bad since I have CC as an outlet! Looking back the only RPS's I had were creamy CF (although I've had that in other LP) and dull stomach pains on 8 & 9 dpo (and they're back again on 11dpo but that may be because of my nerves  ).

Hi ladies!
I had another temp drop today, so I'm thinking I might be out for this cycle and AF prob. on her way. I'm more upset than I thought I'd be. With it being our first month ttc, I had told myself not to hope too much, but darn it, it happened anyway. OK - deep breath. Thanks for letting me share!
Baby Lust
07-14-2005, 08:03 AM
LS, I'm so sorry you think AF is on the way. :( It is very hard to come to that realization, but try to look ahead to the next month. A fresh start. :) Trust me, after 15 months of trying, it doesn't get any easier to see AF, but you can't let it run your life. You know? {{{HUGS}}}

07-14-2005, 11:32 AM
LittleStar, how long is your usual LP? With your temps still so high above the CL I wouldn't let go just yet.
Chart Stalking, Gina!
I totally forgot to subscribe to this thread. I'm having second thoughts about when I O'd (but I do know I did for sure), so I don't know where I am in the 2ww anymore! Either 10 DPO or 6 DPO. I'll know for sure in 3 days since my usual LP is 12 days.
ETA: Nice temp (implantation) drop, Amanda! ;)
Baby Lust
07-14-2005, 11:52 AM
Fly, I tried chart stalking you today but there was a password on your chart... Did you test today?
Baby Lust
07-14-2005, 11:54 AM
ok, now I can see it.. what does FF say if you take off your override? Why the open circles around O time?
flygirl
07-14-2005, 12:10 PM
I can check off nothing & temp at the regular time & still get open circles. Or I can check that I'm sick, sleep-deprived & stressed & it'll give me a closed circle. So for some reason that part doesn't work with me.
Pretty much every temp I took this month (except for the last week or so; I discarded CD22 because the room & I were very cold when I woke up) could be discarded for some reason or another, so I'm taking them with a grain of salt.
So I'm going off past CM patterns. I almost always O on the last day of a stretch of fertile CM. What confuses me is that I had O pains & weird CP on both CD16 & CD20. I had a definite dry-up (not totally, but definitely drier) after CD16, had those two W days, then dried up even more. So CD16 could be a delayed O. Who the heck knows?
ETA: FF tries to give me a CD12 O, which is obviously not the case.
Baby Lust
07-14-2005, 12:19 PM
Wow. Holy messed up chart, Batman! Ok, I am going to go with a CD20 O with a 97.7 coverline. Can you change your override so I can see what that looks like? I'm a visual learner. :p
flygirl
07-14-2005, 12:21 PM
I just remembered something: I took an OPK (Wallgreens) on CD20 & it was neg (as in no line whatsoever). At first I thought perhaps you can show a - on your actual O-day, but not according to the FF handbook. AGH?!?!
The last chart on my homepage is a fake chart that shows this cycle with a CD20 O. I messed with the temps a bit to make more obvious.
Baby Lust
07-14-2005, 12:33 PM
It is definitely possible to get a +OPK on O day or a -! It has happened to me a few times! I guess if I was you, I would assume a CD20 O so you are not testing too early or going through more emotions than necessary. :)

Thank you Baby_Lust for the kind words. I don't know what my problem was this morning - I was just a wreck! I'm doing much better now. I think maybe it's some PMS mixed in there.
Fly - part of my confusion is that I don't know how long my LP is since this is my first month off BCP. I can't decide if charting is making me crazy, but I think I'd be going nuts if I weren't.
Anyone else glad the weekend's almost here? :D
Baby Lust
07-15-2005, 01:15 PM
How's everyone holding up? Anyone think this is their month? :D Anyone thinking this isn't their month? :(
Guinness
07-15-2005, 02:52 PM
QOTD I am trying not to think too much into anything as this is our 1st month, and I am only DPO5-6. But let's be honest, that doesn't really work. So today, I feel twinges every once in a while. I think hmm implantation?, but with the multiple twinges, I should be implanting a football team ;) . . . so I assume I am just more 'atuned' to the twinges this month. I also walked in a room today, and I swear I smelled propane. My class looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned it :p
So the obsession has begun. I will however say in my gut I don't think this is it - really that would be way to simple, and things don't happen that simpling for me.
How are you doing Baby Lust? I know you have been through this too many times before, so we are all hoping this is your month! So without causing you to obsess, anything different so far?
Baby Lust
07-16-2005, 03:53 PM
Guinness, Typically, 5DPO is a little early for implantation. "They" say it doesn't occur until 8-10DPO, so try not to think about it! Plus, you wouldn't want to deliver a football team! Lord! :p
Things are fine with me. I had my 2nd "implantation dip" today, so that is a little strange... typical symptoms I am attributing to Clomid. I will be testing Monday, since AF is due Tuesday. I may have to go pick up some Equates! I think I used them all last month. :(
Is anyone else out there? :) How is everyone doing? Do we have any testers coming up soon?

I have a dr. appt on Monday and he may want to test me then. I will only be 9-10 dpo so it may be a little early. I am just going in for my annual and trying out a new doc and I don't have any issues that we know of, so he may just tell me to wait a couple more days and take a HPT. I feel no different whatsoever, except for the full-body shivers and goosebumps I get every time I think about this being "our month." ;)

Amy-- I am sorry for your loss. I hope that you are able to conceive without any help this time.
I am in the 2ww too. This is my first cycle off BCP and I haven't been charting or checking anything so I don't know the exact day I O'd. I think that is was around CD 14 though because I had a lot more (TMI) discharge around then and was very much into my DH. ;)
So far I have been having some cramping every once in a while. This morning I woke up with slight cramps and thought I would probably be starting soon but they are gone now. The only other thing that is strange for me is that I was really moody yesterday. I went from productive and content, to really crabby, to giddy, to blah. My DH even commented on it. He also told me on Saturday (TMI) "your nipples look swollen and puffy." Umm okay. I don't know if any of this means anything or if it is just signs of impending AF. We shall see.

4DPO and counting. Trying not to obsess - I've had a lot of really short cycles after going off BCP and never had more than about a 6 day LP, so right now my main concern is just having a "normal" LP. If AF hasn't shown up by 8/12, then I'm testing then just b/c it's FIL's birthday that day and I'd love to give him happy news if I can.

Hi everyone... I'm on 2DPO. So early in the 2WW! :( This is our first cycle trying, so it all feels so weird to me. I've waited so long to get to this point, now I must wait to find out if we're pregnant. I guess waiting never ends, does it.
I can't decide when to test. On one hand I want to test as soon as I can but on the other hand, I don't want to test & test until AF comes only to be disappointed. So I guess I'll probably wait until 14 DPO which will be on 8/15/05.
I'm going to try to be patient during this l-o-n-g wait!
Can't Wait: I could have written your post! I THINK I am 2 DPO also and wondering HOW long I can handle the waiting. This is our first cycle, too, and we didn't necessarily plan to try...it just kinda happened on a whim (we were planning on waiting till NEXT summer). It's so exciting but all the waiting...argh! I will try to hold out to test until 8/14 (13 DPO).

I am 6dpo - I really would love to tell my hubby on our anniversary "IF" I am preg. so I am going to test on that day & hopefully it will not be too early - Aug 9th @ 12dpo - if BFN & no AF I will try again on the weekend 15-17dpo.

Hi, everyone! I too am "suffering" through the 2ww, which for me seems to involve obsessing over every pinch, pull, cramp, gag. I'm 11DPO and hoping to hold out until 18DPO. I had a chemical pregnancy my last cycle trying (took a break last cycle) and that makes me scared to test early. So for now, I'll just bug you all with my "symptoms."

You just gave me a great idea. I'm 10 DPO and my anniversary is on August 13th when I'll be 20 DPO. Of course I'll have to test BEFORE then because I'm already kinda consumed with it :)
Anyone wanna take bets on whether I can know I'm pregnant and not tell my DH.
By the way I was a bad girl and tested today. The box (which was the Clear Blue Early test) even said not to test until 3 days before AF. Bad bad girl. Of course I got a BFN. What did I expect?

Good morning, "waiters."
12DPO and temp stayed up this morning. FF tells me possibly Triphasic on Day 27. I picked up some Equates last night but I was good and tucked them away in the linen closet. Since DH was at a work event, I had a quick dinner and sat down to watch TV at 6:30. I woke up two hours later.
Has anyone noticed blue veins showing in places other than on the bbs? I noticed a dark blue vein going down my side last night. Really strange.
So I messed with my chart a bit this morning putting in some fake temps for the ones I missed while I was gone. I got FF to agree with me that I o'd on Monday, so that puts me at 3 DPO today. Woo Hoo! I supposed that with the disturbed temp on Sunday, I COULD HAVE o'd on Saturday...hmmm. SO 5 DPO at most. Shouldn't have forgotten the therm...
Hope you all are not obsessing too much today!
QOTD: I know this has been asked before, but which tests are you planning to uses? Hubby was laughing at me in Walmart last night because I was examining all of them!
Good morning everybody. Temp is still up. I had a big drop on Monday and was all "prepared" for AF but it's back up. Looking at my chart it even looks like I had the implantation dip at 9 DPO.
Ah the which HPT to use question. I checked out a couple of web sites that have the ratings. I think one was peeonastick or something like that. It seems like almost all of them have pluses and minuses.
Last time I used the FRPT and it worked fabulously the first time. Of course I was 15DPO. This time I used the Clear BLue digital Early Test one and got a negative on 10 DPO. It's funny the first thing I wanted to think was "this is not a good test." :p
And I spent a good 10 minutes in front of the HPTs at Longs the other day too!!
BTW FF says I am 11 DPO.

I bought the Equate purple cap last night. I don't plan on testing really early, so I guess this test will do.

Can't Wait, The Equates are the most sensitive brand out there! Great pick! I know someone who got a BFP on 8DPO with an Equate! :D So feel free to test early and often! :p J/K but don't worry about them not being sensitive enough to give in to that POAS obsession! :D
amurphy

can't wait: I don't know if the obsessing is normal, but I'm certainly doing it! I'm constantly logging onto FF to note a symtoms. While sitting in a meeting this morning, I felt three twinges to the left of my bellybutton (felt like bubbles bursting) and immediately noted it on my chart when I got back to my office. I'm seriously concentrating on nothing but my symptoms.
And prior to ovulation, I obsessed over pre-O symptoms!
QOTD: As I mentioned above, I bought some Equates yesterday. I've read that they are sensitive. I got my last BFP using Answer but I'm not sure how many DPO I was when I tested (very soon after miscarried).

Well, since I'm 6DPO of course I've been thinking about taking the HPT. But I'm pretty sure I can hold off until the 13th. Anyway, I bought my tests at the dollar store, I think one of them is the Be Sure brand. I don't remember what the others were. As my symptoms, just a little moody, plus sore bbs as well.

I have been using the Equate brand with purple caps - I used a digital once & would like to use one again after I get a + on an equate just so I can see "preg" ...lol
I am cramping today :( I hope AF is not planning on coming .... we will see
Count me in on obsessing... this is nuts!
I asked about the tests because I remembered a conversation a LONG TIME ago (when I was a devoted lurker on the TTC w/ Charting thread) about the color of cap on the Equates. So purple it is! I'm not "allowed" to buy any until at least next week, though! :p

6DPO here and imagining all kinds of symptoms. My temp was just a little bit up today, and I have creamy CM and AF-like cramps. For some reason I don't really feel like this is our month, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up and to just concentrate on making it to 10DPO (since I haven't had "normal" LP since going off BCP).
I have some dollar tree HPTs and one First Response. I figure the dollar ones will get me through any need to POAS early and then I'll use the other when and if I think I need it. I'll prob. pick up some Equates if I need to next week.
Good luck to all upcoming testers!

I normally use the Equate purple cap ones. This month I want to wait as long as possible and only buy one - because this month will be "the" month :D Our second anniversary is 8/30. I'd love to give him a "daddy" gift! But, if I test around the 14th I will NOT be able to wait that long. :p

Baby Lust Well I am glad I chose wisely! :) Don't encourage my obsession, it is already bad enough. ;)
amurphy I am doing all of that too. I felt a sharp pain on my right side the other day.. I think Monday, & I was like, "Hmmm... I've felt that before but could it mean something??" Then I've been getting a lot of gurgling in my stomach every night which is uncommon. It was so loud last night, DH asked me if I was hungry! Then yesterday I was really moody & just started crying while talking to DH about something that really wasn't that big of a deal. I know it is too early for implantation, but do you think you have real symptoms before that??
I cried like a baby over something totally stupid at about 6 DPO so I think it's possible!!

08-04-2005, 06:11 PM
Well, this is just what I need to obsess even more and drive DH crazier!! :p This is my third 2ww and I'm about halfway through. We had excellent BD timing this month and since yesterday I've had a weird metallic taste in my mouth, some crampy feelings, tons of creamy CM today, and my temp jumped this am. I know I'm probably reading too much into these symptoms-I always do, but it's nice to have someplace to obsess with people that are doing the same thing I'm doing. :)
More pg test shopping, no buying yet. My hubby wants me to wait to test till I'm late. What is THAT all about??? Silly man!
Quick ? for you charters out there...we're going camping this weekend. How much should the lack of AC affect my temps? (i.e. should I even bother, or just wait to temp again Monday a.m.?)
TIA!

Sitting here at cd23/8dpo I had major cramp yesterday - my temps dropped alittle this morning but not below coverline
Today I woke up with 2 zits (yuck) I figuring AF is on her way but I hope not. I am testing on Tuesday (12dpo) if no AF.
mkvh I have not noticed a shift in temperatures regardless of what the temperature is. It's really hot where I am and we try not to run the air conditioner at night so it's definitely hotter than previous cycles when I take my temp. In fact my temps are almost identical to my other cycles. Hope that helps!
Temp still up. So I'm 12 DPO. Should I test? With the Equate?

CD27 and 7DPO here. Last month on CD27 I started spotting and AF showed up 4 days later. So I'm just hoping to get through today "clean" (although I still have creamy CM!). I've decided that if AF isn't here by Wed., I'll test then. That will be 12DPO, which may be a bit early, but timing-wise, if it did happen to come up as a BFP, would give me time to get a special Happy Birthday gift in the mail to my FIL (his bday is Friday). Does that make sense?
Anyway, have a great weekend ladies!

MKVH, I personally would not temp. My temps shift a bit depending on the environment and since you know you are in the 2WW, these temps really don't matter all that much. I say enjoy your weekend without worrying about your temps! Just my input!

This was one of my big mistakes from testing at 10 DPO. I did it on a whim even though my head was saying no no no...I knew my urine wasn't optimal.
going to get a test on my lunch hour.....I probably won't test until later this afternoon though.

Well guys my temp dropped a little today and I feel a little headachy which is sometimes accompanied by AF. My DH asked me this morning when I was going to test. I had decided to wait until after AF was late but since he asked I did it. BFN.
So I'm cautiously optimistic. It would be really swell to have a April, May, or June baby for me so I've still got time :) .
Sure would like to know what the daily nausea is all about though.
How's every one else this fine Saturday?

ktsb I'm sorry about the temp drop, but it ain't over till AF shows up. I'm still crossing my fingers for you!!
As for me, I had a bit more spotting today, but not a lot. It's gone now. My dad had tanning oil on today while he was outside (weird, I know), and I was standing probably ten feet away from him and I made a comment about the coconut smell and he was like "there's no coconut smell". He looked at the bottle when I said I could smell it and sure enough, it said coconut on it. :D I hope that's a good sign. Man, I am totally driving myself crazy!!

15DPO. Temp increased both yesterday and today. I had some AF-like cramps yesterday morning but nothing came of it. I also had blood in my nose (when I blow it) on-and-off since Friday. Still hoping this is it for me.

As for me I am 9DPO today. I had slight brown spotting on 7DPO and some dull cramp like pains on 7-8DPO. I don't have any other major symptoms yet (besides trouble sleeping and very tired all day), but since my temp went up today I am still hopeful :) I will most likely test on 12 DPO.

I'm on CD30 and 10DPO. My temps are staying nice and high. I don't think I have any more symptoms, but then again I really wasn't paying much attention over the weekend. amurphy If I was having those symptoms & that far past O, I would be testing. ;) But I'm overly anxious anyway!
Yesterday I started having AF type cramping & my back hurt a little. I am a week early for AF so I'm hoping it isn't signs of that appearing already. Other than that, I've still had a gurgly stomach every evening which is odd. One week until testing date...
No real symptoms...a little nausea here and there, the same 'dull ache' some others have mentioned, other than that, nothing remarkable. Got my internet cheapie tests in the mail today, but I won't test until at least Weds. a.m. 'cause hubby is out of town tonight.
I totally echo what gymwidow said...I don't FEEL preggo, nor do I *think* I am....so I won't be in for that big of a letdown (yeah, right!).

Good Luck to anyone else testing today.
Major temp drop this a.m.....97.9 to 97.1 (wow! definitely WELL below my coverline). Not a good sign with all the cramps. LittleStar, don't you mean re-productive! (hee hee, bad joke :) )
mkvh, I wish I knew what your temps had done while you were camping. It usually takes 2-3 days after implantation for hCG levels to reach testable amounts. If yesterday was an i-dip, then today's BFN is definitely too early. Anyway, just go join the thread now! You can obsess on all levels ;) Thanks for the good wishes!
gymwidow, Thank you!

Today at work I had a bit of spotting and a small clot. I have never gotten clots before AF started; usually near the end.
I'm hoping this is a *good* thing but also that if it's good everything is alright... :(
flygirl: what would you be looking for in those temps?? just curious, as I am new new new to charting. heck, this may well be my first normal cycle since depo!

Hi! Do ya'll mind if I come in here and be a cheerleader until my 2ww officially starts?
This is our second month trying, CD 11 today. I’m not charting, but sort of “seeing what happens” while tracking fertile cm and cycle length. I had some ewcm this morning that we’ll take advantage of tonight… here's hoping!
Congrats LittleStar!!
Wishing everyone luck!!

Sourdough, we'd *LOVE* a cheerleader!
mkvh, I'm wondering if the 98.2 was a fluke or if the other two temps would have been that high, too. It wouldn't say anything specific, but if they were also high, your drop is more dramatic & the lower temp today would be a bit worrisome. Honestly, though, I love to try to interpret charts, but you can find anything if you look hard enough.
chimichanga, fingers are crossed for you :).

2nd...i really wish i would O...but its only cycle day...oh can rememebr right now but to early to O ...
3rd..mkvh...that looks like that could be an implant dip :D Yeah for you...
4th everyone else....Keep thinking high...
Started spotting (internal only) around dinner time last night, not enough for a full tampon by bedtime. But AF came in full force overnight, and I'm generally crampy and miserable.
I'm a bit worried b/c my LP was short (9 days), but based on some missing/disturbed temps around 'o' maybe 'o' was on the wrong date....
Positives? I charted my first full cycle EVER AND I actually had a normal cycle for the FIRST time after depo. Yippee!
Everyone: GOOD LUCK!! It's been a pleasure! Hope NOT to see you all here again! :D

Dangit :(. I'm sorry mkvh. I'm glad you at least got something positive out of this :). I wouldn't worry too much about a short LP, since your body is still adjusting. A B-Vitamin complex and zinc should help lengthen it.

mkvh: I welcomed you to the charting thread without putting two-and-two together--that you joining meant you were out this cycle. Sorry about AF but it is good news that you had a "normal" cycle!
Chimichanga: I don't know if clotting is a sign of anything--good or bad?! Wish I could be more helpful but I have no experience with that one.
Hello to polkadot, sourdough, flygirl, babylust (and all the other women whose name I can't read on this posting screen)!
I feel like most of you already know my status from the charting thread, but I'll post it here just in case we have some people who stay away from charting....I'm 15DPO and temps are holding steady. My armpits starting itching/burning on-and-off yesterday. Is it possible for armpits to get tired? I swear they feel like I wore them out weightlifting, which I promise you that I haven't done.

Well I tested today... 11 DPO... early I know but I just wanted to see.
So anyway, the test was negative. So I'll see what Monday brings (either AF or a positive).
I'm still feeling optimistic as I know it is really early.
I hope that bloating also means that a BFP may be on the way because my pants are TIGHT.

Well, I finally get to join in! I got crosshairs today (my first!) and FF has me as 3DPO. I'm still not completely convinced that I O'd on that date though because I still have EWCM. This is my first month charting so this is all still new to me. I'm probably going to test by the 28th because my DH and I will be going on vacation the day after that for a week. And if it's a BFN I'll wait to test until we get back that Friday, 9/2. Thinking positive though! Our BD timing was "good" according to FF so I'm hoping it was good enough. ;)
Good luck to everyone! I hope we get lots of BFP's!

Okay, so much for not obsessing. TMI ahead. I just went to the bathroom and I have some definite spotting! I am 7DPO, could this really be implantation spotting? About an hour ago I felt tugging and slight cramps near my belly button.
Does anyone know how much spotting comes with implantation? Could my temp not drop, but still get spotting? Will it maybe drop tomorrow? It is only DPO7 and I was going to wait until DPO16 --- I am never going to make it

Pacifibliss-- You can take Tylenol. I read that is ok to take during pregnancy. I got the information from the webmd website (in case you were wondering)
Guinness-- Sorry I can't help with the implantation spotting question. I didn't have any. As for the tugging feeling I did feel that a lot I think I was about 7-8 DPO. I felt them off and on for 5 days or so. I still feel them now and then ;) I hope it means you'll get your BFP!

Thanks Lizard! The spotting is gone today, so who knows. Only time will tell I guess. I really feel no symptoms, so the spotting took me by surprise. It was definitely there and definitely unusual. I'm not very good at this 2ww thing. Every day I check an ovulation calendar to see when I can test. The calendar has not changed all month :)
I see lots of ads for kits that say you can test up to 4 days before you miss your period. Do they work or is that just setting yourself up to see a negative result? I think someone said it on this thread before but is science could come up with a test to detect fertilization they would have to take money to the bank in a dump truck.
Trying to be patient

I'm right there with you Pacificbliss but I just started. I keep staring at my chart each day. Do I think it's going to change or something? :p The 2ww is excruciating!
Not sure about when to test so I'll leave the question to someone else. But I've read that implantation can take from 7-12 days after O. And then about another 2 days for the hormone to show up to get a BFP. Every woman is different so you could error on the long side and say 14 days after ovulation?? That's my best guess with my limited experience. ;)
Pacific and Shanna You can do 'early' HPTs like the manufacters say but you can get both a false positive and a false negative. Plus they are so darn expensive. It's best to wait until at least 14 DPO. I know I know, easy to say.
Hang in there guys! Baby dust to you!

Can't _Wait, I'm so sorry! I know the feeling.
I'm now almost 7 days "late" (CD 37, though unsure of how many DPO) and it's driving me crazy since I want either a BFP or AF so I can move on. I've had 3 BFN in the last week since my cycle has been 30-33 days in the past few months, but I just reviewed all my cycles since November 2004 (the latest I kept track of) and I have had as long as a 41 day cycle back in April, when I had a very stressful/busy time at work. July wasn't that busy for me, so I'm hoping this is a BFP!

I found out at 6 am, took a second one to confirm (even though there wasn't much FMU left!) and then resisted the urge to wake DH. Even better, today is his 30th birthday! What a gift, huh?
In hindsight, I am guessing now that my recent lower back pain was related. I assumed it was just a flare up, even though I hadn't done anything intense, and had been so disappointed since I've been taking twice weekly Pilates classes to strengthen my core and avoid back pain.

Google Due date calculators. My doctor hasn't told me anything. Based on my Last Menstrual Period it is 4/29, but based on ovulation 5/2. The way most calculate is take you LMP +10 months and 7 days. What is your EDD? I am in the April group, but would like a May group. I have no clue how to moderate though, so someone needs to start one :)

Question for all of you OPK experts...
I tested Saturday morning with my OPK and got a negative. Tested again Sunday morning and got a definite positive. Tested once more this morning but got a negative...the line was not as dark as the day before.
Does that mean I O'ed sometime between yesterday morning and this morning?
Thanks for the good wishes mkvh and pacificbliss!
sarah...not an expert (haven't tried them yet), but first, I think you're supposed to take them midday as your surge begins in the morning and gets stronger as the day goes on...I think it's recommended to take them midday and late afternoon? Also, a + OPK means that you will O within 12-36 hours (from what I have read on the boards and other places). So, if you still have EWCM, keep BDing until you see a dry up!
There's a thread on the FP boards about OPKs. I'll see if I can find it.

My cycles are screwy -- been 33, 30 and 32 days since going off BCP. I am currently on CD 34 and no AF. My last EWCM was on CD 20 (so, I could have O'd as late as CD 22).

I totally would test if you're not afraid of a BFN...and keep testing till AF shows. But that's me... You're probably at least 12 DPO, and average for a + is 13.6 according to FF. Go for it. And test again tomorrow morning if it's neg tonight! GOOD LUCK! :D

Hi Parrothead – I’d say that if you Oed on CD22, I would test anytime after CD34. If you want to play it safe, then I'd wait. It just depends on what a possible BFN could do to your psyche. Would you rather see a BFN or AF? I always cave and test way too early, so what do I know! :p ;) Either way, come back with an update! :)

Let the questions begin!!
OK....so I am only 3DPO (maybe 4?) and I am having some cramping that feels just like AF cramps. It's only on one side though? I'm still about one and a half to two weeks away from when I normally start AF.
Could that mean anything. Could I be having symptoms this early. The next week and a half is going to be rough. I have a tendency to let my imagination run wild!
sarahh: in my VERY limited :p experience, I think you're going to obsess regardless. What you definitely should do is document your symptoms each day. That way if, heaven forbid, you don't get a BFP this round, you will know what to expect from your body next go 'round!

Yeah, I'm on cycle 1 1/2 (we didn't TRULY try last month), and I keep looking back at my chart to see how I was feeling the last cycle at this time! But I didn't take very good notes...and I obviously have not taken my own advice as I'm not doing a very good job this time either!

I'm not sure about the DPO because I started charting mid-cycle. I think you're right... maybe 12DPO (?)... the line was medium-light... I'm testing again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, just to be sure! :D

Thanks Sabriel!!
Shannon… HEY! I remember you! Congrats on your pregnancy too!! :D
mkvh… Yep! I just posted my testing story in my journal. And just have to say, your chart is looking mighty good! When are you testing?
sourdough: Thanks! I checked out your story in your journal... And thanks for the kudos on the chart. I am testing tomorrow unless my temp drops because I will be 9/10/11 DPO (depending on who you ask), and last month, I dropped at 8 DPO! ...prepared for a BFN, will test again later on (Monday?) if no AF...

Good morning ladies! Well, I am 7 DPO and on CD 25. I figure I can test a week from today? My cycles are usually between 30 and 32 days. 32 days would put me at next Sunday.
The only thing I can say MAY be pg symptoms is that for about 3-4 days now I have had what feel like AF cramps. But I usually don't get those until CD 28-29. They started on CD 21. A full week early AND at 3DPO.
This morning the cramps have been a bit sharper and more concentrated in my lower abdomen on the right side.
Other than that...no other "symptoms" to speak of.
*cross posted with journal and seeing what happens group thread.
Here I am again!! Really hoping this is it for me. Would love a May baby.
FF says I'm 6 DPO but frankly my chart was so screwy this month I don't know quite what to think. Says I O'd on CD 25 which is COMPLETELY retarded for me. But then I supposedly O'd on CD 20 last month. All I can say is thank God my DH and I kept BDing every other day even though I thought this month was a goner. Because if I did O on CD 25 we timed it perfectly.
I am having the same symptoms this month that I did with my last pregnancy. My BB's have been sore all weekend and I'm seeing the lovely blue veins.
Sarahh I also have the "pulling" sensation only one one side.
mkvh fingers and toes crossed for a BFP. Did you test yet??

I'm back again. Based on my CM I think I'm 10DPO. I'm trying to hold out one more week before testing. Although I may cave since DH's birthday is in 5 days.
I've noticed som cramping too, but am trying not to read into things.
My bbs aren't as sore this cycle as they have been in the last two cycles. I thought it was due to my prog levels being low, but they are actually much much higher than my last two cycles.

Hi ladies,
I am on CD 23, DPO 4 - according to FF. I am tired, we BD'd almost everyday since AF left, as of yesterday that made 14 times. We skipped a few days at the very beginning and 2 days in between, but covered bases during O time. I am going to try and hold out until DPO 18, since usually I get to DPO 11 or 12 and than she shows up.
Hey ladies! I did test on Saturday...BFN. But a few of the ladies in the charting thread are insistent that I O'd on CD 15, not 14 as I had it. So that would have put me at 9 DPO Saturday which is usually too early. I was GOING to test again yesterday, but I hated seeing that lack of a second line SOO much that I think I'm going to wait for AF to show or Friday... So far my temp is still high and steady. We shall see... Thanks for the well wishes!

Hi everyone...no news to speak of. I am still just sitting here waiting to test! I am now 8-9DPO and was planning on testing sometime this weekend?
No new symptoms either which is bumming me out. Everytime I go to the bathroom I hope to see some implantation spotting. ;) There was one thing that happened yesterday that kinda got me excited though. Jeff and I were out in the backyard picking up fallen branches and all of a sudden I got a really sharp pain in my lower abdomen on the right side. It lasted only a minute and I haven't felt it since. But I have never felt anything like it before. All I could think to myself was PLEASE let that be a little eggie implanting itself!
Anyways...my period is due sometime soon. I am on CD28 and usually AF arrive between CD30 and 35. If I O'ed on CD 19 or 20, could I test now?

sarah: if you o'd on CD 19 or 20, it probably still is too early. And trust me, it sucks to see a negative even if it truly could be a false neg! On average, according to FF most women who will get a positive get it 13.6 DPO, so I would suggest waiting for 5 or so more days. Or you could be like sourdough and wait until you are for sure late...but I personally don't have that kind of will power!

Just dropping by to wish everyone best of luck in the 2WW! We need some BFPs around here!!
That's so sweet Baby Lust , thanks!
Sarahh I agree you're probably a little too early to test.
MKVH I have to admit I tested yesterday too. BFN of course. FF said I was 6 DPO yesterday but I just think (o.k. hoped) I was more like 8 or 9 DPO. Gee as I see it in print I had no business testing yesterday. Ima Dork.
