Ok ok I'm here too! :) I didn't think I was going to get this impatient/excited about it. When we first started TTC (this was the first cycle) I was still a little unsure if I was ready for #2...still a little battlescarred from having a difficult newborn...but I knew it made sense since we don't want them too far apart, etc (DD would be around 3 if we got pg in the next few months).

But now I am wanting to test!! I didn't chart or anything this cycle as we hadn't even decided for sure until CD 8 or 9 or so (and doggone it I can't remember the exact first day of LMP even!). I THINK I am around CD 18. My cycles have been around 28 days. I am going to try to hold out and test on the 20th, when AF should have arrived. But patience is NOT my thing.

Yeah, patience isn't my thing either! I justified this time b/c my LP last cycle was SHORT (although in hindsight, I probably O'd oh, about 5 days earlier when I was out of town and not temping) at 9 days. So I really DID test the day AF was due.

Any updates?

As for me, BIG, GARGANTUAN temp drop this morning but not quite below the CL. AF is on her way...boo! Not gonna make it till Friday.

I'm still holding on in the 2WW. I am CD25 and have a feeling AF may be on her way. I really, really want to test anyway. I just came off the pill a few months ago and don't recall ever cramping much before AF, but I feeling like I am now. I guess I will wait and see or I may crack and test anyway.

Every little twinge I feel has me thinking..hmmmmm...could I be? I did have some sharp pains a few days ago but they didn't last long. I don't have sore BB's but I almost never do either. I'm almost always nauseous anyway (stupid reflux). Anyway, I'm still holdingout that this month is the one:)

Hi lolly. Glad you're still hanging in. I know what you mean about every twinge and twang.

Temp still up there @ 8 DPO now. BUT I'm on CD 33 which is really long for me.

I swear for some reason I am having a heck of a time with my temps this month. This morning I took it when I usually get up at 6 am and it was 98.2. But I didn't have to go in to work this morning so I kind of laid there and went in and out of sleep until 8:30. I decided to temp again just to see what a difference it would be. 98.6

So is it more important to take it at the same time every day? Or more important to take it right before you actually get out of bed?

My opinion, ktsb? More important to take it at the same time AFTER 3 hours of consecutive sleep. So if 6 am was your usual time and you had slept for 3 consecutive hours, you have to go with that temp. Someone in the charting thread advised to NEVER take it a second time 'cause it will be confusing (and tempting to those of us looking for high temps). Where's your chart? I NEED to stalk... :rolleyes:

See, I've had normal months. In the early weeks of this cycle my cat was getting me up around 4 am and I was temping, going downstairs to feed him, going to the bathroom, and then going back to bed. I thought 4 am would be better than taking it again at 6 am because from 4-6 is NOT 3 hours.

But then, shortly before FF says I O'd I started just taking it at 6 am. Sometimes the cat got me up, sometimes he didn't.

Or, maybe I'm having a wacky month. Thanks mkvh for helping me. I feel retarded.

ktsb: well, without open circles (4 a.m. time noted) and no CM noted, i'm really having a hard time telling what's up. You def. o'd but I would guess 2 days later than FF says. So you may only be 6 DPO right now. Better to count the later O than earlier for testing purposes!

Oh, and by my book, you SOO did the right thing with temping at 4. I temped at 6 all summer, but now that my DH is back at work, he gets up at 5 so I temp then. That's what my open circles are all about.

Hi guys. . can I wait with all of you? I am currently on CD24 and 7DPO. I had a huge temperature dip on DPO6. . . below the coverline. does that mean anything significant?? I am fairly new to real charting although I have been doing the bare basics (temping only) since 10/04 with 2 m/c in between.

I really want this month to be it but I am not holding out high hopes. I already took one HPT on 5DPO, so that should tell you exactly how patient I am!

I need to post my chart but that is going to require some technical thinking on my part. I'll try to figure that out.

Hi everyone. I'm currently in the 3 WW! FF has changed my O date 3 times, which is so annoying! I think I agreed with the first date (or at least liked it better ;) ) which was CD 12. I'm currently on CD 24 and according to FF now, 5 DPO.

I think I'm going to test on Saturday anyway, which would have been 14 DPO with my original O date. But I won't be too disappointed if its a BFN, because it may really be 7 DPO. This is my first cycle charting, so I don't know what to think!

I did put my info into Ovusoft (got the free trial) and they can't detect an O at all! Probably because I didn't enter my CM enough. That's something I still need to get used to.

Good morning ladies! I'm on CD31 today and 12DPO.

I don't know though. I have been having cramps for the past few days that feel just like the AF cramps I get every month.

I mean I had these same cramps off and on for the past week and a half. Which made me think they may be implantation cramps cause they were sooo early.

But for the past day or so they have been constant. It makes me think that AF is indeed on her way.:(

My cycle is usually 30-35 days, so I expect her any day now.

As for me, believe it or not I hung in over the weekend and my temps actually went up again. Cautiously optimistic but mkvh may have called it. FF had my O date wrong and I'm actually on CD 11 now rather than CD 13 and I had a nice implementation dip around CD 8-9. Is the dip usually 2 days though?? I had dull aching pains for a couple of hours on Friday too but I seem to have more of those in the last few months. I KNOW I had sharp pains in my BBs driving home late Friday too.

Given my O date moved I think I need to wait a few more days. FF wants me to test tomorrow but I really don't want to waste an HPT. I think I'm trying to chill out a bit more about this.

Okay, I've been trying to avoid this thread, but I'm going to jump in on my last week of the 2ww (which was actually the 3.5ww because FF moved my O date from CD17 to CD27!!!) I wasn't holding out much hope because we didn't time BD that well, but since my temps are higher than usual I can't help it. Plus I keep telling myself that it has happened before. Sooooo, here I am!!

I'm testing in about 6 days, I had it pushed so far off since FF has me as Oing on CD 19 and another chart had me as CD 21, right now I am either DPO 11 or DPO 9, CD 30. Last cycle was CD 34, before that CD 33. Figure having the test date off will hopefully save me from taking HPT and getting nasty BFP's

My impatience got the better of me this morning! I just suspected it...and the faint line showed up! It didn't show right away, but within 3 minutes. I'm somewhere between 9 and 11 dpo so I thought it was very likely too early to test, but I couldn't wait anymore.

CD 16 for me, and I think I am 7 DPO. I had a temp dip on 4 DPO. I am hoping that it is an implantation dip, but I know that is pretty early. FF says I should test on Monday, which would be 13 DPO. I want to hold off until at least Wednesday, 15 DPO. My longest LP since I have been charting is 14 days.

ktsb, I can't believe you haven't tested yet! I don't know how you do it.

Wrighty, I'm still baffled by how much higher your post-O temps are :). Now don't be giving up yet give up! Here's my thinking (both the bad & the good). If you O'd last cycle it was probably CD24, which gives you an 8-day LP. It's possible that will happen again. But the Clomid should (I think) help with a stronger LP, in which case this is very likely a lil ole implantation dip :D.

Liz, I'm right behind you, but I haven't even thought about when I'll be testing. I'm traveling out of town tomorrow for 11 days, so I've been living my days up until tomorrow. When I get where I'm going I'll figure it out then. :) I like not putting the pressure on myself :D. But... if I get a dip I may be singing another tune.

It's about time I join in for the 2WW. I'm right there with you guys, I O'd on Monday (possibly Tuesday). Totally obsessing about everything. I have a terrible sore throat and feel like I'm coming down with a cold or something. Was really constipated yesterday. Last night cooking grounded beef for tacos made me really sick to my stomach, etc, etc. :p I know it can't mean anything this early but I can't help it!

Is there any correlation between a first pregnancy chart and second? I am 11 DPO and have gotten 3 negative (I know first month and I am already getting obsessed with peeing on a stick) my first pregnancy however I did not test until 14DPO and got a positive then but this chart looks so similar to that one (but I know my LP is 14 days). Just wondering.

Almost, There could be similarities between pg charts, but I have heard more often that the charts are completely different, which makes sense because no 2 pregnancies are the same and your body does different things each time. But since you have a 14 day LP, 11DPO could definitely be too early to see a +. Good luck! Keep us posted!

As for me, I am 7DPO and the FPS are in high gear! :rolleyes: As much as you try, there is just no avoiding them! Testing Monday morning... hope there are some BFPs in our future!

Hey ladies! I want to join you in the obsessing. This is the third month trying and is our "target' month so I am keeping all crossables crossed.

I didn't have any FPS the past two months but this month I have. :rolleyes: I have been really tired (about to go hit the sack after I post), thirsty for water only, bloated and gassy. :o I hope there is a very good reason for all of these sypmtoms.

I am between 7 and 10 DPO (not charting or anything) so I will test next Saturday if AF hasn't showed before then! I am hoping I have a very exciting weekend next week. :D

So I am at 13DPO and my temp is still high but i got another BFN yesterday and we travled and are in a two hour time change so I have no idea how accurate my temp this am is. I decided to try and not get another test until I am 14 DPO, but is so hard not to obsess.

My other experience with charting I always had a 14 day LP and usually had a temp drop by 12 - 13 DPO but these last two days I could not take my temp accuratly and I am not sure if that pattern is exact as I have not temped in 3 years.

? I am right to say my LP should stay the same right (it has been 3 yrs since I read TCOYF).?

Well, FF changed my O to the day after B's b-day which really ticks me off b/c we couldnt BD that day so i may have not caught the egg....its really ticks me off...but what can i do...i am not gettingmy hope up this month and am trying to think positive for next month :rolleyes: why is this so complicated???? :confused:

I'm charting and FF gave me an O date of Friday even though I am 99% sure that I o'd on Monday or Tuesday. I had + opk's on sun,mon,tues and a neg on Wednesday. That would mean my LH surge ended by Wednesday. The Monday + was the strongest. Tuesday you could tell it was on it's way down. As of today I *think*am 7dpo but according to FF I am 3 dpo. I'm going to say that I am now 6dpo. I hate this.
I'm off to NYC today. I'm auditioning for "who wants to be a millionaire" tomorrow morning. Wish me luck ;)

Well, I broke down and tested yesterday and today. BFNs. BUT... for some reason, (probably my eyes playing tricks on me) I was able to "imagine" a super duper light light light line on both of them. :rolleyes: I am definintely discouraged but cannot help but hold out a little hope. According to the O date I figured, I am 10DPO today, however, there is still a chance that I calculated wrong, and I may only be 9DPO today, which means I tested on 8DPO. Bad, bad Amanda! :o I guess only time will tell. I hate the waiting! :rolleyes:

As for me...still waiting and still obsessing. I am trying not to and actually during the day during the week I am not as bad because I am so busy. I did notice a little cramping this morning when I woke up but nothing ht rest of the day. I am not sure if that will be good or bad. I am 10 DPO so I was thinking it may be implantation but who knows. I am not sure because I may be as much as 12 DPO. I am not charting so I don't know for sure.

I haven't had any sore bbs or anything....right now my only FPS is being tired. I have been struggling to stay awake past 9. :o

Why can't there just be a button to push to get pregnant and it would happen right away?

My first time posting here, but I'm on my second 2WW. AF is due any day now and I've been getting cramps here and there. What's really annoying is that I seem to be wet down there constantly lately, so I'm always running to the bathroom to put in yet another uncomfortable pad...just in case. Wear it for a few hours, get annoyed, take it out, then feel the wetness and worry again. Not knowing what's going on sucks!! I have no PS, false or otherwise, and I don't chart, so I'm just waiting...

Alright....i posted earlier but i'm posting again b/c i am going nuts....i had some reddish/brown (TMI) stuff when i wiped first thing this morning...figured it was AF just very early....well i am 7 or 8 DPO...so i am wondering if this may be implant spotting...it has stopped and believe me i checked so i dont think it was AF starting. i am crossing all crossables at this point but i am just unsure thats what it was b/c i have nothing to compare it too....so i guess i wait to days and test right....ihope i can wait that long....

anybody know if you have to have a temp dip and spotting or can it just be one or the other b/c i have had no temp dip...

I am in the 2WW now for sure. I actually should have AF by a week from today if I am pg, so I guess that means 1WW?

I have had bunches of symptoms here and there that could be AF or pg symptoms. Since it is my first cycle off the pill I am not expecting AF symptoms to be like they were before.

Randomly I have had sore nipples (the past two days, and still today, but (tmi) just the actual nipple and not the areola) I have had slight AF cramps for a few days now, accompanied by a sore lower back. I have been peeing a lot (I've always drank tons of water... some days i pee a lot and others I don't) I have had horrible mood swings. (nothing new to me, but since going on current meds they haven't been happening) I think that's it. Nothing is so unusual as to make me think I am 100% pregnant, but this cycle is definitely different than those in the past. Last night I also had a sharp pain in my uterus for about 5-10 seconds. I told my sis I thought I had ovulated... she said it sounded more like implantation. So who knows.

Here are some fun things that have happened that could "indicate" I am pregnant.

I got a fortune cookie that said on one side "you will be making a change of jobs soon" and on the other the word that it was "teaching" me in Chinese was "baby." (Making a change of jobs could mean having a baby, I suppose)

I did a fun "band name generator" online that tells you what your band name would be if you had one. Mine said "The Belly Cultivators."

I had a dream last night about a family member dying. My sis said that dreaming about someone dying means you are pregnant. She dreamed about someone dying a week before finding out about both pregnancies. A friends mom had told her this when she was a teenager. She wasn't trying either time, so it's not like she was thinking about dreams like that when she fell asleep or anything.

I watched a Baby Story twice in a row last week and the first episode the mom had MY name and they named their daughter our first choice girl name. The second one the dad had my husbands name and they named their son our first choice boys name

I'm not out buying announcements or anything because of these "signs." I just thought it might be fun to post them, and especially neat if I am pregnant.

Anyone else have any fun signs?

Tested this morning...BFN :( I am going to wait until Sunday to POAS again. I'm not too sure of my O date so by waiting until Sunday I will be at least 10DPO no matter when I O'd. If I O'd later than I think I did than I think my chances are slim this month. We bd'd on Sunday, and Monday and I *think* I O'd on Monday but if I O'd later than that my chances go waay down.
Although I do have to say that I am nauseous today and very gassy (burping). Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!!!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I have been so so so so exausted for the past three days. I haven't felt this exausted since Feburary. Right before I found out I was pregnant.
I'm going to try to hold out until Saturday morning to test, I don't have the cash right now for half a dozen tests, lol. But this is beginning to drive me insane.
If this is our lucky cycle, my EDD would be around June 10th. My bday is May 11th, Aaron's is June 3rd, and Alli's is June 17th. Kinda odd, but cool how we're all so close together.

Prayers are greatly appreciated.

ETA: Reading back, I realize my tiredness could be due to my change of schedule recently. But I really don't know. This is my second week of the new getting up time, and I feel way more tired then I felt the first week.
As far as other possible 'symptoms', no sore BB's, no cramping, but I do think my appetite has increased a bit.
Ok I need to stop before I become totally obsessed! :D

ETA again: I was so HOT last night! I had no idea why, and now I remember being hot is totally a preggo thing!

I have another possible symptom. I have had sharp cramping in my calf. I have heard women get this while pregnant, but I thought it was in the 2nd-3rd trimester. I have also been craving something really wierd... red meat. I rarely eat red meat but for the last couple days all I can think about is hamburgers.

michelle - I only got those bad leg cramps in my 3rd trimester. I would wake up in the middle of the night screaming like someone was trying to kill me. Maybe it is a symptom for you, but I don't generally think it's an early pg symptom.

I finally got up after not sleeping all night and tested around 4:30am with a digital Clear Blue and the "pregnant" came up within about 10 seconds....a pretty clear sign! I can't believe it, it's the most overwhelming, scary, exciting feeling!!

Michelle- not to give you any false hope but all last weekend all I wanted in the whole wold was a red juicy burger. Fingers crossed for all of you still waiting!!

I caved and tested this morning, but I used Fact Plus because of the sensitivity. Now, here is my dilema. I took the test, then got in the shower. When I got out, there was the faintest of faint faint lines. I can't even explain to you how faint it was. It is indescribable. I got dressed and looked at it again. Hmm... the line is getting a little darker... *crossing fingers* I took the test out to the living room to watch the news and kept looking at it. As more time went on (up to and past the 10 minute mark), the line was getting easier to see. It is still incredibly light, but I don't have to squint or hold it a certain way or anything, and the line is definitely blue. So my question is, when I first looked at the test, I was ready to call it negative because I had to squint so hard and hold it in a bright light, etc to see it. But now, I can see it just fine and actually have to hold it out of the light to see it the best. So, I need your honest opinions, not your POAS-crazed "a line is a line" opinions. Though I love those too, but I need sanity right now. What do you girls think? I of course will test again tomorrow, but that is 22 and a half hours away and I just don't think I can wait that long!

BabyLust--I don't know much about Fact Plus. But are you SURE you're 14 DPO today? Could just be early. Plus, with the spotting on CD 26, you implanted only a couple days ago (hypothetically, of course). So I think it's entirely possible that a line is TRULY a line!!!!!! (unless Fact Plus is notorious for evaps?), and the only way you will know for sure is to test again tomorrow.

Or you could hold your pee for a REALLY, REALLY LONG TIME without drinking anything today... who was it that tested neg and then the next day didn't use FMU and tested pos?

MK, No, I am not 100% positive I am 14DPO, but I am sure I am right in there somewhere. I always get sore nips right after O and that is how I pinpointed O this month. So it must be right in there somewhere... I don't know if Fact Plus has a high rate of evap lines. I know the line is definitely blue, but I just can't be confident enough to call it +.

MK, Today is 3 days past spotting... yikes! :D I don't know what the plan is... Michelle, Temping actually can help you get pg easier, because you have a better chance of timing BDing based on your temps and CM. Checking CM is much more accurate than temping, but good luck with either! And you are right, you may not have to worry about it after this month! :)

Friday afternoon and I'm still period-free. No more AF-like cramps today, but I have been feeling twinges of something and a little bloated. My last cycles off BCP have been 28 and 29 days...so if this one was to be 29 days, AF should have come today. I really don't want to test unless I'm a few days late, but the days just seem to draaaag out.

I posted this in other threads. I chart. When I added my temp today FF gave me an O date of last Friday. That would make me 8DPO right now. Way too early to get a BFP. Although I tested again this mornign :o BFN, who didn't know that? I am still cramping a bit though. I am due for AF on Tuesday, but if I o'd late, AF will probably be late. Oh and my bb leaked a little bit of clear fluid this morning. I haven't had that happen since I was pg with my DS. aack!! I don't know what to think. If I'm not pg I want AF right now so I can move on to the next cycle.

BL--I know you're probably not checking in here any more, but I don't know whent I o'd. :mad: I had to go out of town on short notice for work during my fertile time, and I decided not to further upset myself unneccesarily by seeing a temp rise while I was away. So sometime between CD12 and CD 16 when I had a distinct temp rise. Who knows!

I also wanted to ask you about the online OPKs...you said you never could get more than a smidgen of a line? Well, I had a smidgen on CD 11...wondering if that really was a +?

So sorry about the BFNs everyone!! Don't count yourselves out already though! I didn't get my BFP until 14DPO and even then, it was very light! I had all the symptoms of AF... cramping, bloating, everything! Just have faith! I hope you all end up with BFPs in the next few days!

I'm on CD3 now. AF came on Saturday...30 day cycle this month. DH took me out to a bar Saturday night to "celebrate" my ability to have alcohol for a few days. :P Our 1 year anniversary is today, so I will be able to have champagne with dinner. So it's not all bad.

Hi everyone, I'm on my first 2ww now. I'm 3/4DPO, so it'll be a bit before I test, so I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting. I have new-found respect for those who have been TTC for multiple months. I usually have a 13 day luteal phase, so I'm going to try to hold off on testing until at least the 12th. It would be nice to get a BFP right away, for many reasons but also because I'd be due June 23, which is my 4th anniversary.

CD 26 here. I started having menstrual crammps last night. They felt like the cramps I usually get when ON my period, but never before it. As of this morning they are completely gone.

So I have some sad news...after two BFP's last week Sun night I started having serious cramps and bleeding. Called the doctor on Mon morning and he said what likely happened is that the fertilized egg just didn't implant. I'm not sure if this thread is the appropriate place to be posting this but since I don't/haven't been posting anywhere else this is the only place anyone "knows" me. I don't have any real feelings of "loss," it was way too early for that but I do feel bitterly disappointed and so sad. I never expected this whole process to be so hard. I spent half of my life trying NOT to get pregnant now it's all I want and it seems so difficult. Sigh. :(

I'm 9DPO and obsessing. My big problem is that my temp stays high until after AF, so taking my temp at this point in my cycle doesn't tell me much...which allows me to obsess and get my hopes up. (I know that logic should tell me not to get my hopes up based on high post-O temps b/c my temps mean nothing. :rolleyes: ) FF tells me to test on Friday, but I may wait until Monday b/c I think I O'd a couple days later than indicated on my chart. So, here's to ending this 2ww with great news!

Funny you should mention that word. Impatient is the word of the day. I am an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and today we were talking about the word impatient and brainstorming situations in which we feel impatient. They have always been 28 days on the pill, but I just went off it and started charting a month ago, so it's all a mystery to me. I suppose that's what makes the waiting so hard right now.... not knowing what's going on. After charting for a full cycle I should have a better idea and should be able to determine the length of my LP, right?

I'm so excited and shocked, really, that it happened so quickly. Must be something about October, really.

After some chart-analyzing, I determined my O date to be Sept 29, which gives me an EDD of 6/22/06, just the day before my 4th anniversary... so the baby could be born *on* my anniversary. (Is that the "Tradional" or "Modern" gift for the 4th anniversary? LOL ;) )

And Congrats Sunshine!!! We're almost pregnancy-buddies, just a day off. :D

I don't know when I O'd (I am just seeing what happens this month) but I'm on CD25 today. My cycles are usually 26 - 28 days, so I guess I'll know either way pretty soon. I have absolutely no symptoms of anything, so I really think I'm going to get my period.

On the plus side, we're going to a costume party next weekend and if I'm not pregnant I can have a few cocktails! ;)

6DPO for me. I almost broke down and tested today :rolleyes: Don't ask me why I just wanted sooo bad to test even though I knew it would be BFN, lol. I know I'm nutso! My bb's are sore but nothing more than they usually are before AF. I'm majorly fatigued so I'm hoping that is a PG symptom, lol. My skin is breaking out really bad also and I seem to be really itchy everywhere especially my lower tummy and my bb's, werid? lol. Also majorly bloatedl ike to the point where I look 4 monhts pregnant afteR I eat anything, even iti's just a small bowl of cereal. Anyways yes I'm obsessing but I must wait until 12DPO! 6 more days!!!! I have 2 doller tree tests so I'mg oing to wait! Okay off to watch 7th heaven now. God Bless!!! :D
