I remember reading (I think in Lucky Magazine) about a sunblock that smells just like that coconut tanning oil.

Since I LOVE the smell of the oil, but am extremly fair skinned and need a high level of block, I was wondering if anyone knew what brand of sun block it was??

TIA

I thought it was the Banana Boat brand - but I could be wrong. I buy the 50 spf from them and it has a definite tanning oil, pina colada type of smell.

Of course you could just stand in front of the rack of sunblock, opening the caps and sniffing at all of them! :) I've been known to do that with bubble bath.

LOL - Karen, you always come to my rescue!

I really like the banana boat sun blocks, as well. (But am trying to avoid the open-and-smell-them-all kinda incident as I start making faces at the strangers who stare at me for muttering while smelling everything under the sun.)

Yum. That reminds me I want to try making a real coconut smelling soap. I just made coconut lime verbena over the weekend and it is wonderful!

Banana Boat for sure has great smelling ones.... but I picked up some great smelling sunscreen from Bath and Body for this year. It smelled great and had a high SPH which I need. OK and I was sucked into the whole B&B experience at the time.......
