Has anyone heard of a great hotel in London that really caters to families with young children?

We are also traveling to London this summer with our toddler. Have you picked up a copy of Frommer's London with Kids? I'm finding it *very* useful in planning our trip.

I'm not sure if you have already booked your hotel (I see you posted this question a few weeks ago), but Frommers has a load of suggestions, including:

Crescent (http://www.crescenthoteloflondon.com)

22 Jermyn Street (http://www.22jermyn.com)

Swiss House Hotel (http://www.swisshousehotel.com)

Europa House (http://www.westminsterapartments.co.uk)

The list goes on. I can't attest to any of these places personally, but the book gives a pretty comprehensive low-down on a bunch of kid-friendly hotels.

As for ourselves, we booked an apartment through a rental agency, Regent Suites (http://www.regentsuites.com), because we will be there for an extended period of time (two weeks+) and I really wanted a kitchen and a washer/dryer.

Good luck planning your trip and have a great time!
