Ohhh seriously your missing out! The album art is stunning and also 3d!!!!!! Yep it comes it its own little goggles attatched and all the pages are 3d, even the track list is in 3d. If you think lateralus album art was good this blows it out of the water. Its done by the same guy so that gives you an idea of what it looks like.
The wole band is amasing, Dannys drumming is sooo amazing...oh I could go on about them all...hehe can you tell Im in love!

;) A friend told me all about the artwork. I am a bass girl myself. I was with a bassist for almost seven years. He is still a really good friend of mine. I miss hearing him play! I love bass on TOOL songs. It is really driven music if you know what I mean.
I am SO going to go out and look for this CD tomorrow!

Oh, I was excited too! I got the cd the day it came out and I've listened to it straight through like 5 times a day since then. It's amazing. I love 10,000 Days and Vicarious the best so far. The artwork is really cool too.
I've been a HUGE Tool fan since high school and I've seen them live just about every time they've been in town since then (maybe 5 or 6 times). I'm SUPER bummed that I haven't been able to get tickets to the concert in Boston 2 weeks from now though:( It was sold out within 5 min from when it went on sale and I wasn't able to get tickets. The venue where it's being held is tiny, so that's why. I think it would be amazing to see them in such a small place though, you know? People are selling tickets on craigslist for ridiculous prices- one guy is selling a pair for $950!! I'm a big fan, but that's still way too much. I'm still holding out hope that more tickets will be released closer to the date- that's how I got 5th row center when they were in Lollapaooza in '97. Were either of you guys able to get tickets to wherever your closest show will be? If so, I'm jealous!!

Vicarious is my DHs fave song at the mo off the album mine is right in two. Ohhh but the whole album is just sooo good! OK IM dying of jelousy over here, Unfortunatly I live in NZ so its rare for them to come here and travelling to see them would be a few K! Dh has seen them once on their lateralus tour but I missed it and they havnt been back!!! :-( I did see A perfect circle two years ago when they were here last and ohhh my that blew my mind so Tool is just unimaginable. hehe so there you have it you have NO reason to be jelous I do lol.
If you go to their site they have said to all their fans to relax because theyre just doing a mini warm up tour at the mo and theyl do a bigger afterwards. I soooooooo hope they come here tho I will be soo gutted if they dont!

Oh, wow. I didn't realize that they don't get to NZ on their tours- that sucks! I saw APC live once and, while the show was realy good, Tool totally blows them out of the water in my opinion. I know they'll be coming back- I just think it would be amazing to see them in such a small venue. But I guess I'll stop complaining about not getting to go to this one show since all of you in NZ haven't even gotten to see them at all:p

They have been here. Just not many times at all. ONe thing about that is when they do come we have very small venues so are lucky in that respect. When we went to see APC we had the worst flooding in years and all their gear was late so the concert was about 2ish hrs behind schedual! But ticket sales sucked fot that venue so they moved the stage forward by HALf of the size of the floor. We were in seats above the crowd and they were soo close! Its was such a cool experience. That was for the thirteenth step tour.
Fingers are crossed they come over this way...I think its highly likely for an album release tour.
