We have a metal kennel for Truman that he loves, so we take it with us when we travel but it takes up way too much room. I saw a soft sided, collapsible travel kennel the other day but cannot remember where!
Anyone have one they would recommend? Or some place I could look?
BTW, Truman is an 8- pound golden retriever so it needs to be big!

I've seen these at Target. DH wants to get one for our big guy, Bernard, who is 70 pounds. The biggest size I've seen is a large and that runs 50-70 pounds. My question is, wouldn't a dog chew it?

Thanks! I love a good excuse to head to Target!
As far as the chewing, if your dog is a big chewer, he might get into the soft kennel. Truman isn't a chewer so it doesn't worry me too much!
We have a soft-sided crate from NozToNoz. http://www.noztonoz.com/noztonoz/sofkrate.html
We have an N-series. It's so much lighter, it doesn't rattle in the car, it's easy to put together. We put a pad in the bottom of it and it works great. Our dog weighs 80-90 pounds and we have the 42" crate. When we travel, our dogs share it; our other dog is 33-35 pounds.
